All three of us started yelling at the same time telling our side of the story in jumbled bits. While Pitch on the other hand stood there calmly taking In the scene. North looked at all of us with wide eyes, looking overwhelmed.
"ENOUGH!" North roared scaring all of us, except for Pitch of course.
"Now one at a time, or coal for Christmas," he threatened. I raised my hand along with the other guys.
"You go first," he said pointing at me.
"Well you see, it all started when Jack came over and decided to give me driving lessons, but he froze my eye in the process," she says. North looks at Jack with a frown, while Jack looked sheepish.
"Accidentally of course, so I called up bunny because he's... Has warm...Fur, and I kinda took some," she says guiltily holding up the piece of duck tape with fur still intact.
"And then bunny was going to put us on the naughty list, so we raced him here, with the help of my one time acquaintance, Pitch, to tell you that..." She paused to look at everyone.
"...It's basically... all my fault..." she says finally realizing this. North, bunny, Jack and even Pitch all looked at her surprised.
... She looked down for a moment.
"I'm... Ha... I'm really sorry for all this," she says looking up at them sadly.
"I'm just going to go home," she says awkwardly. With that saying she took out a snow globe and vanishes in the portal.
"No wait!" Jack says but it was to late, she was gone.
-Later that week...so late that it's night-
Sarah sat on her balcony in the dark, in full out self pity mode. Watching the clouds slowly cover the now crescent moon.
"Bah!" She shouted sinking to the cold roof burying her face in her arms hugging her legs to her chest. Her back leaning against the wall, her leg hanging over the edge. Her voice echoed through the trees, unheard by most...most.
"Can't do nothing right," she grumbled to herself staring blankly into the distance. She didn't notice the frost patterns form on her door a foot away, or the tiny snow flurries that stuck to her hair.
"What are you doing?!" A voice asked from above. She looked up seeing the winter spirit standing on the top roof looking down at her with a wide smirk, staff slung over his shoulder, and a mischief gleam in his eyes.
"Go away Frost I'm not in the mood and I've caused enough damage for one day don't cha think?" she says laughing bitterly now realizing how numb she's feeling. The winter breeze gave her a chill.
"Psh that was nothing," he says waving it off floating next to her. She rolls her eyes and stood up.
"Go away," she muttered before turning to walk back inside.
"Hey why are you-" he got cut off when she spun around on him and jabbed his chest with her finger. Forest green eyes glared up into confused caught off guard icy blues.
"I almost freakin burned your staff, almost killing you, I destroyed my car, and I..." She paused when she heard a lamp crash in her room. It didn't take her long to guess who else was visiting. looking at the darkness seeping out from underneath her bed.
"Still have him to deal with," she stated wryly.
"Excuse me for a moment," she says with fake politeness. She shuts her door on Jack, but he could still hear her angry shouts from within the room mixed with a muffled cry. The door swung open. He couldn't see what she was doing, so he stepped closer not entering the room.
"GET OUT!" She roared startling Jack, thinking she was talking to him when the door swung open wider and she dragged out a beat up, torn clothed Pitch. Pitch looked stunned before realizing Jack was watching him.
"You saw nothing," he said giving Jack a glare before jumping off the roof, landing expertly on his shadow horse and road away into the night. Jack cautiously looked at Sarah to see she looked drained. Then inside to see the room was destroyed.
"Creepy stalker," she muttered blowing a strand of hair away from her face irritated. Jacks eyes widen at realization when he saw tear streaks.
"Hey why are you-"
"I'm emotional at the moment," she answered cutting him off wiping her eyes with a sniff.
At hearing this he remembered North and Bunnymund giving him a lesson on emotional women. The lesson did Not end well for the winter spirit. Luckily Phil the yeti saved him.
He fought the blush that tried to form on his face.
"No it's not that," Sarah says looking away also embarrassed.
"It's just stress," she answered flatly leaning against the railing.
"...Oh..." Jack says awkwardly.
"Well then... Why are you stressed?" He asks
"Where have you've been for the past week? After all the stuff I put you through," she says shaking her head.
"Hey I'm still here, and it's all in the past," he says poking her with the crook of his staff.
"Come on," He continued poking her.
"Is that a smile I see?" He says seeing her fighting to hold back a smirk or smile. He never knew what she'd do. As she swatted the staff away, he noticed she smiled this time with teeth showing. They looked slightly crooked and sharp looking.
"You done looking at my teeth or do I have to keep smiling?" She asked still smiling.
"Nope you gotta smile more often now show off those perky whites, wait until Tooth sees those," he says giving a smile of his own.
"No! I'm not having hands in my mouth!" She protested officially done smiling.
"Oh come on, she's nice... When you stay on her good side," he added.
"Oh please you just want to go there because of her fairies," she said rolling her eyes. Jack smirked at this.
"Jealous much?" Jack asks.
"Very... There's just so much competition," she says sighing dramatically.
"I knew it," He says cooly.
"Whatever helps you sleep at night frosty," she says.
"Yea I'm obviously too cool for you," he said raking a hand through his tousled white locks.
"Alright before your ego gets to your head more then it already has I'm going inside," she says.
"I'm going to bed goodnight," she adds.
"What no goodbye hug?" He asks astonished by how short their conversation went. She had a foot inside her door when she turned to look at him.
"I thought you were to cool for hugs," she says using air quotes.
"No I said I was to cool for you," he says stupidly. It took him a millisecond to realize how that sounded.
"Right you are therefore I bid you farewell," she says turning back around going back inside. The door was closed for ten minutes. He decided it was time to go. Just as he took off with the wind, she ran out.
"Jack!"
He turned around in the air to see her panting slightly. He lowered to the ground now standing in front of her.
"What is-" he felt arms wrap around his neck and being tugged forward. She was hugging him. He took a minute to process this before hugging back. She was warm, but not for long if he kept hugging her.
She felt frost patterns slowly design on her back through her shirt and cheek. He was cold, but she didn't really care.
Alright what do you guys think? Still with me? Tooth will be in the next chapter and afterwards will most likely be Sandy. Can't believe I didn't put them in earlier... Cold weather huh? Review if you're still with me please!
