Dear readers,
I've read your reviews and I have to say… Thank you all so much! You've given me the confidence I needed to carry on and that's exactly what I shall do! It warmed my heart to read those words of kindness and encouragement. I would be such a protozoan if I didn't at least try to continue! So, here is a brand new chapter. I hope you enjoy it~
Sincerely,
Siriusly Ironic
"Shizu-chan is so cute while he's sleeping… heh, with such an innocent expression it's hard to believe he could kill you with a simple flick of his wrist…" Izaya pondered quietly as he watched the ex-bartender sleep. Earlier that evening he had received quite a shock, one that almost stopped his un-beating heart. When Shizuo had arrived home after his short silent tear fest in the park he had broken down completely. Never in all the years Izaya had known him had Shizuo cried so hard. He would know, after all he had constantly watched the blond. It was rare to see Shizuo let out even a few tears but this, this all out break down was just… impossible to comprehend.
Looking past his confusion of Shizuo's feelings Izaya realized, he had missed this, being near the short tempered blond. It was rather depressing, knowing that he'd never be able to tease or even talk to the other male again. All of that ended the day he decided to end his life. Sure he regretted it… but it seemed like such a good idea at the time. He had figured, if he couldn't be with the person he loved then what point was there in living a life pining over someone who hated you? The former informant was soon brought out of his musings by the sound of thunder in the distance. Great, just what he needed.
"Izaya…" the raven heard his name spoken softly and for a moment thought he had been found, but quickly realized that it was simply Shizuo mumbling in his sleep… Wait a second… Did that mean Shizu-chan was dreaming about him? "Probably dreaming about killing me. Or how great it is that I'm gone…" Izaya chuckled darkly, the pain in his voice was obvious as he stared at the sleeping blond. What he didn't know, was Shizuo was dreaming of something far less violent, after all, he hated violence.
Inside Shizuo's Dream: Same time
It was dark… everything was so dark… "Where am I?" Shizuo wondered aloud as he began to walk blindly through the darkness. "Hello?" he called out, not expecting to be answered. "Hi~" a childlike voice came from behind him. Shizuo turned around so fast that he almost fell, only to be met with the same empty darkness.
He was starting to get angry, he didn't like not seeing where he was. It was then that the room began to lighten, soon becoming so bright it hurt before dulling into a much more comfortable white. White… everything was white, from the walls, to the ceiling, to the floor… everything. Even the single wooden chair that sat in the middle of the room. Shizuo blinked in confusion only to now be met with a figure seated in the white chair. It was a boy, with dark blue hair and bright glowing blue eyes. He was wearing a black and white striped shirt, black pants, but had no shoes on. "Who the hell are you?" Shizuo growled out. The boy only giggled, not feeling the least bit threatened. He seemed so innocent and childish, and that just pissed Shizuo off even more.
He didn't like this boy being here, him having no clue who the hell the kid was. "My name, Shizuo Heiwajima, is Azrael. And I'm here to help you."
Well here it is, a brand new chapter. After reading all of those reviews I just couldn't help it I had to continue! Thank you all so much for your kind words. They give me inspiration and the drive to go forward. I've decided that I shall continue this story and already have three more chapters written. They just need to be edited and typed.
Again, thank you to everyone who reviewed, I hope to hear more from you and sincerely hope that these new chapters will be well worth the wait~
