The Earth started to spin. I closed my eyes as it increased. Suddenly it stopped. I opened my eyes slowly; scared it would start spinning again. I felt nauseated. After hurling, I tried to stand. Hard, but not impossible. "Where am I?" I whispered. I seemed to be in a deserted, old, and covered in snow and ash town. I walked to the closest building. My eyes widened as I read the sign. Even though half covered in snow and ash, I made out the words: Marion's comic book store.
Snap! I turned around, my Proto-Tool raised. Nothing. After a couple of minutes, I shrugged. I turned around and started to walk again. Suddenly, something grabbed me from behind. We started to tumble down the hill. When we slowed down, the something jumped off me. I reached for my Proto-Tool. It was gone. I got up, anxious to get it back before, Snap! The short black haired girl stood before me. She was somewhat different though. She wore an old gray shirt, baggy blue pants, and old ruined brown sneakers.
She held my now broken Proto-Tool. I took a fighting stance. The girl rolled her eyes. "Seriously? How stupid do you think I am?" I was confused. "What do you mean?" "Okay, either you hit your head, or you're the..." Her voice trailed off as her face went pale. "Well, I'll give you cridet for that, " she said, as she ran off. A arrow suddenly wizzed past my head. I turned around.
