Zoro lying awake in his hammock unable to sleep as he stared at the ceiling. Going over something in his mind as he debated whether his instincts were right about it or not. He felt something was different but he couldn't find a for sure answer. He decided to go meditate on the subject since he wasn't tired thanks to the nap earlier today. Climbing into the crows nest he found Robin reading as she was on watch tonight.
"Zoro? What might you be doing up?" She asked. Zoro made his way to the center of the room as he answered.
"I was trying to figure something out so I decided to meditate, is that alright?" He asked sincerely. He didn't mind not being able to meditate up there if she didn't want him too. He was more concerned with the problem that had been plauging him today.
"Go ahead, I'd actually prefer some company. This book seems to be a refresher course on things I've already learned." She answered as she closed the book to try keep the conversation going.
"Thanks." He nodded as he sat on the floor to try and meditate. Robin was a little disappointed he ended the conversation there but she respected his wishes. She gazed out at the stars while he meditated.
"Robin?"
"Hmm?" She turned to him as she was brought out of her thoughts. He still had his eye closed and was still meditating.
"I was hoping you would have some answers to my problem." He began. "It started today." She listened intently waiting for him to continue. Hoping the idea she had in head was the same thing he was referring to.
"I don't know how to approach the problem. I know what I want to do, I'm not sure if I'm right either though. I don't want to try for it and cause a problem within the crew because I was selfish. Even if I am right, it would still pose a serious problem for the crew."
Robin's stomach began to tie itself in knots. Her heart skipped a beat as he seemed to be dancing around the subject she was hoping he would bring up.
"I believe, our nakama trust you to make the right decision. As first mate and the solid foundation this crew relies on, along with Luffy, we will understand your reasons." Robin said. Also trying to lightly imply the subject.
"Even Ero-cook and the Witch?" Zoro joked with a smirk, still not opening his eye.
"Fufufufu, yes even Sanji and Nami. I believe two people's opinion would be respected by all. It is their decision on what to do, but I believe if you show some intiative, they will not complain." Robin told him. She removed the blanket she had wrapped around herself as she suddenly felt a little too warm.
"Would you help with those two? I'd rather just not deal with them at all about this. They seem to want to annoy or argue with me regardless if I'm right or not."
"Of course, I don't see why I wouldn't be able to help." She began to slowly stand up and make way to Zoro.
"Thanks, that makes this whole thing easier on me, Luffy trusts me, he'll have no arguement. You felt the same thing today then too?" Zoro still keeping his eye closed as he kept up the conversation.
"Yes, I've been feeling it for awhile now, my Kenshi-san" Robin purred as she sat in the swordsman's lap and wrapped her arms around his neck lying her head on his collar. Zoro's eye shot open to find her cuddled in his lap pressing her face to his neck. His face grew hot and his muscles went rigid.
"Uh... Robin? What are you doing?" Zoro asked. Robin felt him tense under her touch and back away to see a very flustered and confused swordsman. Seeing as how she might have went too far she immediately excused herself from his lap as he sat petrified and still very confused.
"I-I'm... I'm sorry Zoro, I thought we were talking about our feelings for each other. I see I misread the conversation. My apologies I'll be goi-" She was beginning to leave the crow's nest in embaressment when Zoro quickly got up and pulled her to his chest.
"Don't you dare leave after telling me that, I could never let the woman I want more than anything walk away after that." He laughed lightly into her neck, inhaling her scent as he held her close. "I definitely wasn't talking about this before, but I'm damn glad you had the courage to think so. I didn't know when I would I would finally tell you how I felt." Zoro pulled back to look into her eyes. She held a face of small shock and complete disbelief. She thought she just got rejected mere moments ago and here he was confessing his feeling towards her.
"Z-oro..." Robin breathed out. Somehow speechless in front of this man. He just gave her a proud smirk.
"Nico Robin, would you let me be YOUR Kenshi-san?" He asked. Bringing his hand to her cheek lightly stoking her blush. She couldn't fight the small chuckle that bubbled out from him saying her 'Kenshi-san'.
"Of course", she started as she wrapped her arms around his neck once again. "My, Kenshi-san." She wore a mirror image of his proud grin as they leaned together locking into a passionate kiss that was the one of many.
"What were you talking about if this wasn't it? Kenshi-san." Her low, seductive voice betraying her genuine curiousity. Zoro was panting with her trying to catch his breath to respond.
"I was referring to the little one in the sick-bay." Zoro answered as he immediately went back to covering her mouth with his. Her confusion and intrigued over shadowed at the moment by his tongue. It took all her concentration to pull back from his kiss.
"Care to share what you mean by that?" She asked raising a questioning brow. Seeing how she was too curious for this to be dropped at the moment he decided to humor her. Giving her a small peck on the nose he sat on the bench surrounding the crow's nest pulling her into his lap.
