Chopper woke up early in the morning, only Zoro and Sanji weren't in their bunks so he could assume breakfast was at least being made. Hoping he would pancakes today so he could eat them with the sticky syrup he loved. Smiling to himself as he imagined eating stacks of fluffy pancakes. He walked to his office to check on his patient. Approaching the door and seeing it cracked open, panic set in. Thinking maybe she got out he rushed to the room, surprised to see Zoro inside. Zoro was playing with the little tiger as it rolled around on the bed playfully swatting at his hand. Chopper smiled seeing his friend happy and also his patient still doing fine.

"Zoro, how is she?" The little tiger now noticing his presence slid closer to Zoro.

"She's doing good, you want to come play too?" Zoro asked giving a small knowing smirk to the young boy. Chopper only giggled as he made his way to Zoro's lap. As he was seated, Zoro coaxed the green cat to come toward him and Chopper. Hesitant at first, the tigress cautiously made it's way to the two of them. Chopper shyly holding out his hoove to pet her. She pressed her paw to Chopper's hoove as she approached. Chopper sat in awe as the little tiger seemd to warm up slightly to the little reindeer.

"She's so soft, she also doesn't seem to act like a normal tiger." Chopper commented. Zoro only smiled as he picked up the tigress.

"I think we should go wake the others, Ero-cook should be done with breakfast soon." Chopper happily nodded in agreement.

At breakfast, the entire crew watched as Zoro bottle fed the tiny tigress.

"Awww!" cooed the navigator and sharpshooter.

"OW! She's super cute Zoro-bro!" Announced the cyborg animately. Luffy continued to eat as usual and Chopper ate the pancakes Robin fed him with happy giggles.

"Nami, how long to do we have for the log pose to reset?" Zoro asked, still not takinng his attention away from the tiger in his arms.

"Till around 8 tonight, why do you ask?" Nami responded. Zoro let out a sigh of discontent.

"I was hoping to wait a little longer, Luffy?" Zoro finally turning his attention away from the form in his arms.

"Oh, Zoro?" Luffy just barely aking eye contact while he continued to eat.

"I'd like to ask, that we keep her." Zoro breathed out.

"WHAT?!" Shouted half the crew. All of them had a small look of disbelief.

"Eh? Why?" Luffy finally stopped shoveling food into his mouth. They waited for Zoro's reasoning for wanting to keep the infant tiger. He stared down at the tiger who seemed to be smiling up at him. He looked into it's eyes and made his decision.

"She needs someone to care of her." he finally stated. Everyone seemed let down by his generic answer.

"Zoro, I get it she's cute and green, but you can't keep a wild animal on this ship. We're pirates, we don't get to have pets." Nami explained.

"Marimo, I agree with Nami-swan. We don't get the luxury of having something like that. It would also be best for her to be with her own kind." Sanji reasoned. Zoro said nothing as he started to smile at the tiger in his arms.

"Zoro? What's the real reason you want to keep it?" Usopp asked.

"Her, and I told you, she needs us. A family, parents..." Zoro's voice trailed off as he finally thought of something. "I'd like everyone to be quiet for the next few minutes. I'll show you what I mean, on my honor as first mate."

Everyone seemed to immediately tense up at his last few words. He was serious about keeping this pet.

"Chopper, I'm sorry but I'll have to let everyone on know our secret." Zoro smiled, he saw the reindeer look slightly confused as Zoro cleared his throat. He started to hum. Everyone was surprised now spare Robin and Chopper. He continued his deep melody as he watched the tigress in his arms. She was drifting off to sleep fluttering her eyes as she fought to stay awake.

Everyone's eyes widened and jaws dropped. The look of pure shock on everyones face gave a little bit of pride to Zoro as he knew he was right about this. The little tiger in his arms started change. It slowly but surely returned to human form. Zoro was now holding a precious little girl as he wrapped her in his wine colored sash. The little girl had short green hair very much like the swordsman's. She was smiling as she slept as a bundle of joy in the swordsman's arms. He looked to all of his nakama to see awestruck and dumbfounded faces staring at the sleeping infant. Sanji dropped his cigarette, Nami choked on her words, Franky shed silent tears, Brook looked actually dead, Chopper fainted along with Usopp and Luffy forgot he had food in front of him.

It took everyone a few hours to fully come down from the shock of what they witnessed. Zoro was worried that once she woke up she would go back into her tiger form. Relieved, she happened to stay in her infant form. Zoro was glued to little one. Taking her on naps with him and watching over her as he trained. He wore his robe with one arm not in the sleeve making the unused sleeve into a makeshift baby carrier across his chest. Robin and Chopper were the first to warm up to the idea of the baby. Joininng Zoro on deck to play with the infant. She warmed up to Robin in almost an instant as she watched Zoro hand her off to Robin. No one had seen Robin smile as much as she did when she started to play and hold the infant girl. Zoro observed his new girlfriend and the green haired girl with a sense of pride and amazement.

"You thought of a name yet?" Zoro looked to upper deck where the navigator leaned against railing.

"Nah", Zoro turned back to watch Robin. "I'll think about it though. I'm just happy we can keep her."

The navigator smiled as she witnessed Roronoa Zoro smile in content.
