The silence at the table is grim and when Baseplate picks the phone Price takes a moment to speak, this would be one of those moments Soap would break, "There's a clocktower in Hereford where the names of the dead are inscribed. We try to honor their deeds even as their faces fade from our memory...Those memories are all that's left, when the bastards have taken everything else,"

"What happened?" Baseplate asks carefully.

"He killed Soap," Price said mournfully, "He's gone Mac,"

There was a moment of silence and Baseplate spoke up, "What do you need from me son?"

"A location. Our Russian says Makarov used a cache weapons at an castle near prague. He's got nothing more solid than that,"

"Can you trust him?" Baseplate asks curiously.

I sigh as I cut in, "As much as I don't want to he has his own reasons for wanting Makarov dead,"

Just then Price sends a video link to Baseplate as he speaks up, "Place ring any bells?"

"Aye we ran drones over a suspect castle back in Zakhaev's day, but we never got wind of our targets visiting the area," Baseplate replies.

"What are we up against?" Price asks challengingly.

"The place is a fortress. Only one way in or out - unless you've learnt to fly. Security office on the far side of the compound, and a command center north of that. Both heavily guarded, if Makarov's there, he'll be in the control room...What's this you're sending me?"

"Equipment list," Price replies.

I can almost hear MacMillian's sigh, "That's a lot of hardware John, What'd you plan on doin'?"

"What you taught me to do. Kill 'em all,"

I straightened up, "After all Mac we are at war, lets give them a proper greeting,"

The rain pours down hard as I left go of my parachute and land on the ground, "Why are we taking him?" I ask almost venomously and point to Yuri.

"I don't like it anymore then you but we do need him, and that doesn't mean you can kill him, no fake accidents or I'll know," Price replies warningly.

I give him a grim look, "As if I'd be that dumb,"

Just then Yuri comes over and Price turns to look at him, "Keep up or we leave you behind," We then make our way through the fortresses wreckage and up to a broken brick wall as Price tells us to get down, I crouch down and lean against the wall.

"Get caught in those lights, and we're done before we've started," Price says warily and after a moment he orders us to move, we quickly move down hill until we see two men by more of the wreckage, we stay of the other side and wait for them to pass.

And yet another minute passes and Price speaks up, "This way. Now," Me and Yuri quickly follow behind and I halfway wish Roach had come on the mission with us, he was much more fun to speak with, and things still hadn't cleared up between me and Yuri since I practically almost blew his head of several times.

We continue down hill until we get to yet another brick wall with a huge gap in it and Price says, "When we're down there, you move when I move. Do as I do. Understand? Lets go," He then jumps down and I follow after landing gracefully on a plate form and down next to him by a truck, Yuri follows after.

We move to the back of the truck and Price puts up his hand, "Hold. Only shoot what you can kill,"

He must be trying to teach what he's tot me, I remember practically of all these lessons and the few skilled missions I had went on at such a young age and all the stress I had, now I just feel relaxed and can easily perform when needed.

Just then we continue ahead to the next truck and after a second Price tells us to go I quickly do a dive roll and land next to the other truck. "Under the trucks," Price commands and I do so.

Price then tells us to wait and I see two men up ahead, "We'll plant C4 to cover our escape,"

"Always one with the fireworks," I muttered and Price replies, "We'll burn this place down if we have to," We quickly pull out from beneath the cars and up against another truck, "Night, take him out, but don't-.""

"Get caught in the spot light? How old do you think I am? Old man," I reply flatly.

"Four from the way you've been acting, do it quickly," Price answers steadily.

Move myself from the trucks cover and I go directly behind and pull out my knife, I quickly throw it, hitting him straight in the back of the neck

I move up and grab my knife from the body and pull the body backwards and shove it beneath a truck, and we move forward and Price says, "Wait for it..." The spotlight passes and Price says, "Now!" We all quickly pass to another wreckage wall and Price signals us to follow.

We quickly move up a set of stairs and take cover behind a few barrels, after a moment we pull out from cover and slowly descend down the small slope our guns aiming at the enemy's who have the backs towards us. We then lay down and start to crawl underneath them.

Just then we saw lights flashing around and Price tells us not to move after a few seconds we continue on and Price tells Yuri to plate a C4 of the platform.

And after yet another few seconds we got out from beneath them and went up a small set of stairs and take cover by a few more barrels, "We're good. Keep moving,"

I was surprised at how quiet we were all being, I originally that this was going to be a bicker filled mission quite like our old ones we use to do, but no. It was just silent and that was fine with me.

We move forward and towards a building and Price identifies it as the Security Office, Price presses his side against the left of the door way and says, "I'll handle this,"

"You sure old man?"

"Don't get too cocky," Price warns as he takes out a crowbar and pries open the door right as the door swings open he lungs forward sticking his knife into the targets neck and shoots the rest stealthily. "Not to bad for an old man," I'm probably driving the old man joke into the ground but I'm not gonna let him forget.

He ignores my comment, "Clear. They've got cameras outside the command center. Both sides - here, and here," He points on the screen, "We'll just have to knock on the door,"

He then picks up the dead body and uses it to open the metal door and I give a grim look, "And Ghost always wondered were I get my interesting idea's,"

"Cheers," Price dipped his head as the door slides open, we sprint through and we move past another door as well and instantly go into a crouching position was we turn left, "Quiet..."

We then go down a set of spiral staircase and Price tells us to put on our night-vision which I do so, "I'll take care of the lights,"

We get to the bottom Price smashes the light button and tells us weapons free, it's quick and clean when we clear the area. It was easy as it comes, we made our way through the dark prison cells shooting any target we saw, or it was easy until they started using flares.

"Take your night-vision off. We'll do this the old way," Price says and I quickly take mine off mask I pull out my knife and throw it, sticking a target right in the forehead, most of the firefight is easy and once we've cleared the area we make our way into the a few different room.

"We have about ten minutes until they find their dead," Price warns us and I smirk, "I call that a luxury in time, normally we have only two minutes,"

Price opens the medal door and replies, "Then I guess we should consider ourselves lucky," We go through the door and are back outside once again, the rain hasn't lighten up and the air isn't any cooler, we climb up a short ladder and make our way to a C4 charge place, "This bridge is the only way in or out of the base,"

"Not very smart," I say as I plant a C4 on a column and then look at some of the construction I sigh as I see Price press his back against the wall and slowly make his way along the ledge.

I follow up next, it doesn't bother me, namely because I use to do this all the time back at the old One-Fore-One base, good times, "This whole thing looks like it's about to collapse, so take it slow," Price looks more at me then Yuri.

I give a pout, "I'm a professional at this,"

"That doesn't make you invincible," Price replies as we make it to the other side and we make a left turn and then a right turn and up a ladder and back into another room which if you asked me looks like it could use some house keeping.

We take right and up a few set of stair cases and Price signals us against the wall, "Hold up," He says lowly, I frown to see that look on his face, I know that look because it's my look I get when I get I new idea, "Change of plans,"

"Dammit," I sigh as Price turns to the face the wall, Price smirks at me, "The control centre is just above us. Looks like we wont have to shoot our way in,"

"And I'm the crazy bastard that needs to take things slow, if you haven't noticed I get that trait form you," It's to dark for me to see what Price is doing but I know it's something that is going to help us out majorly.

"I might be a crazy bastard but I know how to do it right, you're still a little wreckless," Price replies.

I put a hand on my hip, "It's called getting the job done fast, I wouldn't expect you to know what that is,"

"It's better to take things slow then completely compromise yourself," Price said in an almost sing-song voice and I scoff looking at Yuri, "Can you believe this?"

Just then Price goes forward down the hall, "The thunder will hide the sound of the blast. Wait for my signal,"

Yuri pulls out his charge ready and after a few minute the thunder roars and Price signals him to do it. The C4 blows open our new door and we move to see it, I frown as Price says, "We can climb up here, c'mon,"

Price goes first and I follow after, putting on foot on each bar making my way through mumbling about how I don't get paid enough for this, I hear Price's quiet chuckle, "We don't get paid at all,"

"But if we did I still wouldn't get paid enough," I reply hotly as I start climbing up carefully, "Oh no, we couldn't just shoot our way in, we had to take the crazy route,"

"When were you the complaining type?" Price asks almost curiously, I snort out a laugh, "Since I get dragged on almost every single mission and get to do crazy shit like this,"

Just then we make it to the stop as I get a good stance of the last bar and peep my head up to see a hole which I can see through, "For the last...time... I will not bow...to the demands...of terrorist thugs!" There was a big TV with the Russian President looking tired.

"I will die before I surrender the nuclear launch codes!" The Russian President says defiantly and I see Makarov circle around the president on the screen with a calm look, "I see... This is what we are dealing with, brothers. A stubborn old man, hopelessly out of step with changing the world,"

"Sir, still no response from security room,"

"Get down there. Find out what's going on,"

"Alexi, has your intel been confirmed?"

Alexi nods, "Yes, sir. Our men are already on the way to Berlin,"

Makarov leans closer to the president, "Are you listening?" He asks.

"The daughter is there. We will have her in a matter of hours," Alexi said

Makarov nods, "Keep me updated," Just then the screen went white.

Price nudges me, "Time to go," He says quietly and just then we see the guards panic, "They must of found the bodies,"

"Our luck of course," I reply flatly and Price smirks, "This should buy us some time," My face falls into a frown when I see him toss a grenade.

"Down! Now!" Price says.

just then I drop down, probably not my smartest move, just then I bust through a brick wall and my body throbs in pain when I land...Definitely not my smartest move. When I see a target out of the corner of my eyes I roll off my back and onto my feet and pull out my holstered pistols and fire.

"On your feet! we're leaving!"

Just then we shoot the next target and move forward and up a set of stairs as we shoot what few enemy's are in front of us, "Nikolai, the daughter is in Berlin! Makarov has men on their way!"

"I'll contact the American," Nikolai replies.

"Vorshevsky will break if they threaten the girl!" Price says rushed as we continue to run up the steps.

"Da, Captain Price. I wont let you down,"

Price slams on the acceleration as we bust through the wooden gate and drive down the muddy and slippery slope, guns fire from behind us as well as BTR's, "Hold on!" Price yells out as he took a sharp turn, "Hope you're both still carrying your reserves,"

"Like I wouldn't," I reply hotly already knowing what this crazy bastard is planning, "Get your chute ready!" Price says and literally right after we drove straight off the cliff.

I was already lifted from my seat and after a second I pulled out my chute and watched the explosion beneath my feet. Same shit, different day. It seemed like my motto now and days.

Wassup People!? Okay, yes, you can yell and scream at me for not updating like, three months? I really can't explain it because, well it's kinda personal to me but lets just put it like this: these last few months have been emotionally rough on me.

This is yet another short chapter and yeah I skipped like the last part of the mission, because I originally wrote the full mission and I was like literally seventeen seconds away from finishing the chapter, and suddenly the page expired and I didn't save and I literally screamed and almost cried, and whimpered, "FML"

And once again I was suppose to do a Ghost POV in this to show how Static died, but I'm super lazy and a little rusty at writing this, but next chapter will be based on Ghost's POV with the flashback, or so I say.

But oh man, on the 14th or 15th chapter...I'm sorry guys but I'm an evil son of a b*tch and will probably emotionally damage all of you with what I'm planning for Alex, I'm sorry, but. You know how Allegiant's (From the Divergent series) ending practically crushed every fan? Yeah, it's gonna be somewhere around there.

Anyways I'm gonna haul ass on the next chapter and get it up as quick as possible, which will probably be in a week tops, but until then see you all soon :)

Sincerely, Red Dawn Shadow.
