A/N: sorry for taking so long to update, yeah I fail, epically. So here's a new chapter.

So, still Sadie here, yes, those high and mighty Greeks, still have us at their camp as prisoners (Yes, Carter, it was necessary to sneer those parts, don't judge me, you don't like them any more than I do, if not less than me.) so, as I was saying, we were planning on rearranging Miss. Dentistry-Rearranging-Is-My-Life's face for her slight against us magicians, until Little Miss Sunshine, a blond princess-looking girl with gray eyes, came up to us and had the audacity to apologize for Clarisse's (I think her name was) actions, claiming, and I quote, "She was a daughter of Ares," which had nothing to do with the price of eggs in China!

"Why are you apologizing for her? Is that your job, or something, Princess?" I asked, already in a bad mood from the oh-so-warm welcome we got from those over-bearing Greeks.

"I- I- I just thought-" she stuttered.

"Thought what? That us, proud Egyptian magicians would want just an apology and a pat on the head from you Greeks?" I said scathingly, "Well, sorry, girl, that just won't cut it. We fought Set and Apophis to keep you here on this Earth so you should be thanking us, not treating us as toys!" I roared, a little bit of Isis showing through, proving she didn't completely leave me. I'll admit, I probably did overreact a bit, but really, wouldn't you if those insufferable Greeks treated you like that?

"Sadie," Walt said, Anubis' voice layering with his in warning.

"Sorry," I muttered, not really meaning it, scowling at the ground as Blondie stared on in wonder and awe, maybe a bit calculatingly as well.

"Anyway, I'm Annabeth, Annabeth Chase, daughter of Athena" she said, changing the subject.

"Wait, isn't Athena a maiden goddess," Carter looking confused in the nerdy and yet lovable in lovely way only he can pull off.

"Well, yes, but... She has a certain power, where the intellectual meeting of minds, one with her own, can create a brain-child." She explained, causing Carter's face to light up.

"Can she have children with another woman, or is it just limited to men?"

"Can women be intellectuals, too?" Came the amused, but slightly irritated answer.

"Can your mother carry multiple children to term from multiple 'partners'," my dorky brother (Ow!) seriously did the finger air quotes there, "at the same time?"

"I... Don't know..." Annabeth said, curiously.

"How long is a typical pregnancy?"

Annabeth shrugged.

"Okay, last question, and I think this is a valid one, do you have a-"

"Okay, Carter. you are done with your little Spanish Inquisition. She's Greek, not a convert." I said, dragging him towards the infirmary to check on Zia.

"What happened?" Carter asked Zia, as she was being tended to by one of the Greeks, a very cute (But not as cute as Walt! [Hush, Carter!]), blonde boy.

"I believe Nepthys' remnants in my mind and body reacted badly to the fire nature of the bronze dragon creature..." Zia frowned as she tried to recall her moments before blacking out.

"Relax, Zia. I do not wish to have to pull you from Osirus' land quite yet, as it is not your turn to die." Walt's deep voice rumbled, layered with the intoxicating sounds of Anubis' voice as he spoke to Nepthys' ex-vessel.

"She needs a little more rest, so I'll walk you out, and explain my observations. I'm Will, by the way, Will Solace, cabin leader of the Apollo cabin. Apollo is my dad," he clarified, seeing our confusion. "So I noticed conflicting elemental natures, and heard Nepthys' name mentioned. I'll assume Nepthys is associated with water,a nod Zia's element is fire?" At our nods, he continued, guiding us towards the lake. "She is still weak from the possession of the goddess, and her elemental affinity. As she said, their are remnants of the goddess's spirit still within her, she is not functioning at full capacity, and coming in contact with Peleus, the bronze dragon," again he clarified, "affected her badly. I hope you trust us to at least keep her here long enough to heal properly. Until then, I'm sure Chrinon would be fine with you staying in the Big House. Uhh, the big white House over there..." He pointed towards the 'Big House,' as he called it.

"Indeed. Although we are of different factions, I shall not deny a chosen of the gods, whether or not they are our gods, help when it is needed. come, I will assign you rooms for your indefinite stay. We shall introduce you at dinner." Chiron, apparently a centaur, said.

"Supper," I idly corrected him, as I got up and brushed off my shorts.

I made it longer...
