Chapter 39 – More Subordinates

Molte went out of the room and puts Nagi down onto a chair where the table is. Mukuro and his gang were already here. Lancia came out of the kitchen, put the food onto the table and sat down.

They had lunch and after that woke Nagi up. Then, Molte went into the computer room to get their lockets. He taught them how to summon the ring and put it back into the locket that each have without dying will flames.

"Now then, let us start the meeting by introducing ourselves. I will start first. My name is Molte, and I am a freelance hitman. I am also the Ombra Famiglia's boss, the holder of the Sky ring," while Molte showed them the Sky ring. "Next~"

"Kufufufu~ My name is Rokudo Mukuro, codename Mist. I am the Cloud and Mist guardians of the Ombra Famiglia. I am also the leader of the Triste Groupo which is connected to the Ombra Famiglia," while Mukuro showed them the Cloud and Mist rings.

Molte nods. "Next~"

"Hello, my name is Kuro Gomimi, codename Black Mist. I am a subordinate in the Ombra Famiglia under Mukuro-san. I am also one of the members of the Triste Groupo," while Kuro showed them her ring.

"Good. Next~"

"My name is Ken Joshima, codename Sun, byon. I am a subordinate like the girl." Ken pointed to Kuro and showed them his ring. "I only follow Mukuro-sama."

Nagi and Lancia were confused.

Molte signed. "He means he is in the Triste Groupo too. Ken, treat girls with respect or I will let you play with either the pair of foxes or the pair of lions~ Pick either of the pairs to choose your death~"

Ken thought about it and shivered at that memory. "I am sorry byon."

Nagi whispered to Kuro. "Was it… that terrifying?"

Kuro whispered back. "You do not know the half of it," and she shivered.

"Next~"

"My name is Chikusa Kakimoto. I am a subordinate and also a member of the Triste Groupo."

Molte nods. "Short and simple, good! Next~"

"My name is Lancia. I am the Cloud guardian under Mukuro-san," and Lancia showed them his Cloud ring.

"Kufufufu~ you will be interesting~"

"Next~"

"My name… is Nagi… and I am (cough cough). I am… the Mist guardian under Mukuro-san too (cough)," and Nagi showed them her Mist ring.

"Okay then. Remember to keep your rings inside your locket, so you will not be suspected. And if you want to take it out, just do what I told you to do. Also, Lancia and Nagi will join the Triste Groupo. Since they have the guardian rings, they can order everyone in Mukuro's group except for Mukuro himself and me." Kuro and Ken were about to protest, but with one glare from Molte, they kept quiet. "You got something you wanted to say?"

Kuro and Ken shake their heads. "Nothing boss."

Molte nods. "And finally, Nagi's name will be changed to Chrome Dokuro. Her codename will be Indigo Mist. Lancia's codename will be Cloud. Any questions…?"

Mukuro raised his hand. "Why is Nagi's new name almost similar to mine?"

"O… I forgot tell you," and the others sweat-dropped. "Chrome is actually your half-sister, Mukuro."

All of them shouted. "WHAT…?" Even Chrome was shocked.

Molte lowered his fedora. "No shouting…" and they kept quiet. "Mukuro, after your father left you and your mother, he went out with another woman, a mafia related woman. Nagi is the result of your father and that mafia related woman."

Mukuro was now angry. "I cannot… believe that!" and Mukuro pointed to Chrome. "You…!"

Mukuro's surrounding was full of demons hunting Chrome and Chrome trembled and immediately hides behind Molte with Lancia standing in front of Molte to protect Chrome even if it means that he has to sacrifice his own life for her.

"Mukuro," while Molte dispelled Mukuro's illusions that Mukuro made and Mukuro look at him. "You should be kind to her and not be mad at her."

Mukuro's illusions became much worse. "Why…? That man… left my mother… for… for… her!"

Molte signed and lets Chrome hides her face against his shoulder. "She is not to be blamed for this. She was abandoned in the streets when she was only two and has survived until now. She does not know anything about parents' love, but you had your mother with you until she was killed. You should really find out about other people before you reach a conclusion."

By the time Molte finished explaining about Chrome's life, Mukuro was ashamed of himself for being mad at something he did not know at all while Chrome was crying on Molte's shoulder and Kuro was calming her down. Lancia wanted to talk more sense into Mukuro, but Molte beat him to it.

Molte handed Chrome to Kuro and stood up and walks to Mukuro. He then leaned down and whispered. "You should apologize to her and hug her. You will feel the connection between the two of you and you will be able look through her memories. You will find out the truth from there."

Mukuro nods and stood up. Mukuro walked over to Chrome while Molte followed. Mukuro bends down beside Chrome and Kuro moved away. "Forgive me, my dear sister Chrome," and he hugged her.

Chrome blushed as she felt the warmness of Mukuro over her. She smiled and slowly closed her eyes. Mukuro slowly closed his eyes too. Then, they lose consciousness. But before they dropped to the floor, Molte caught them.

Molte smirked. "This will be interesting…" and he saw the confused looks from the others. "Do not worry about these two, they will wake up soon. Anyways, I am going to let them sleep in my bedroom. Kuro, you will come with me. Ken, Chikusa and Lancia, wash the dishes and get to know each other better. If you break anything at all, get ready to meet the foxes and lions~"

"O-Okay boss…!"

"Okay," though Chikusa shivered a bit.

Lancia was just surprised. "O… kay…?"

Molte carried Mukuro while Kuro carried Chrome to the bedroom.

~ KHR ~

~ After they left ~

Ken hurriedly collected the empty plates.

Chikusa pushed his glasses up. "Ken… you are really afraid of him."

"Shut it kakipi! I saw you shivered too! Those animals he has are really terrifying! Just hurry up and collect the plates!" Ken then points to Lancia. "You must help out too!"

Lancia sweat-dropped and nods. They collected the plates and went into the kitchen to wash the plates.

~ Molte's bedroom ~

Molte and the other three entered the room. Molte puts Mukuro onto the bed while Kuro puts Chrome onto the bed (Mukuro's and Chrome's hands are still connected).

"What should we do now?"

Molte smirked. "We will be entering where they are now."

"How…?"

"Hold onto one of their hands and close your eyes. Then, imagine a flame in your mind and you will be where they are."

Kuro nods and holds Chrome's hands. She closed her eyes and fainted. Molte smirked and did the same of what Kuro did to Mukuro.

~ In the mindscape ~

Mukuro woke up and saw that his surroundings are filled with trees. He is also wearing a pure white long shirt and long pants.

Suddenly, someone beside him sat up and looks at him. She is wearing a long white gown and has middle-long hair with the same pineapple hair style as him (though Mukuro will not admit it).

Before they spoke to each other, they heard someone asking them something. They turn to find the source of the voice and found a girl wearing the same white long gown as Chrome but her hair is black in colour and also has middle-long hair.

The girl in black colour hair asked again. "Where are we?"

"Kufufufu~ I do not know. Do you know, my sweet Chrome?"

"I do not know too Mukuro-sama."

Suddenly, a boy's voice spoke from within the forest. "You are all in your dream world, a place where you will find your own peace. But to be specific this is Mukuro's and Chrome's dream world."

"Oya oya~ And who might you be?" while Mukuro narrowed his eyes.

The person was in the trees and begins to walk out. He is dressed the same way as Mukuro and has long slightly flowing brown hair (the same with Tsuna's hair in the anime, but his hair is as long as Squalo's).

"Hello~ It is me, Molte~" The three people stared at him as if he was another person and Molte huffed. "I am not another person."

"Kufufufu~ then why is your hair so long?"

Molte just look at them amusingly. "I did not cut my hair ever since I was born. My father had no time to bring me to cut my hair. And after my father's death, I was too lazy to cut it."

The three people sweat-dropped at this.

"How did you keep it so clean and flowing?"

"That is a secret that I will not share with anyone else at all."

~ KHR ~

~ Omake: When Hibari lives with them ~

~ The Pairs of Foxes and Lions ~

Hibari was sitting on the sofa with Molte while each of them was reading a book.

Suddenly, the door to their apartment opened and in came Mukuro and his gang, arguing about something. Not really all of them, Chikusa just stood at a corner, watching them while ignoring them.

They were arguing louder and louder. Hibari was twitching and look to Molte. Molte was still calmly reading his own book. But Hibari can see that Molte was already twitching and his eyes were full of anger while his hands were shaking in rage.

Hibari decided that he did not want to die so early like the three fighting now, so he did not try to disturb Molte.

Suddenly, something flew towards Molte's face and hits his head. Mukuro, Kuro and Ken immediately stopped fighting. Chikusa decided that he did not want to see anymore. He pushed his glasses up and left the scene without being noticed. Hibari was covering his head with his book, trembling with fear even though he did not do anything wrong.

Molte stood up quickly and took the thing that was thrown to his head away from his head. He then lowered his fedora while grinning evilly at them. Mukuro, Kuro and Ken were frozen in fear. They knew what this meant "The Absolute Punishment" will be released onto them. Hibari watched them with amusement while covering his head with head with his book.

Molte took out two boxes and quickly got his Sky ring out of his locket. He lights the ring and puts it into the holes of the two boxes, separately and quickly.

A pair of foxes and lions appeared beside Molte and he pointed to Mukuro, Kuro and Ken.

Molte smiled evilly at them. "Natsu, Kiyo, Yoko, Suko, attack them until they are learnt their lesson to never disturb me while I am reading, ESPECIALLY WHILE I AM READING!"

The pair of foxes and lions nods their heads. Then, they proceeded to attack the three of them without mercy while Molte huffed and sat down while putting the two boxes beside him. He also continued to read his book.

No matter what the three did, they could not defend themselves or run away from the pairs of foxes or lions. They were running and screaming in fear. Their bodies were covered full in bruises, wounds and have burnt smell.

Hibari looks at them then at Molte. He sweat-dropped at this and continue to read his book. Though he did reach to a very important conclusion in his mind…

'Never disturb the carnivore while he is reading, ever! Unless you want to become barbeque or chopped liver by the animals he has!' and Hibari shivered.

~ KHR ~

A few hours later, the pairs of foxes and lions were done. Molte held up the two boxes and they returned to their respective boxes. Then, he kept them into his clothes.

Molte closed his book and walked to the three. They were lying on the floor, trembling and covered in smoke. Molte smirked and the here flinched.

He then drags the three of them back to their apartment and let Chikusa takes care of them.

From then on, nobody dared disturb Molte when he is reading, EVER!
