Chapter 13 escapee 3~ furs and feathers

I HAVE NOT SLEPT IN THREE DAYS! Haha, why did I tell you that? XD

Yeah... I am so fragging sorry! I have had a fricking hectic life recently. Family crap was going down and I just couldn't write. *whispers* stupid boys too. *normal voice* and exams were beating me up. I still don't know I'd I passes my science class. \(•_•)/ welp, well see...

If get into detail about my family, but I don't think you guys care too much about that. So it's ok. :3

So, I got some amazing feedback for the past chapter. Here is what I've decided:

Pov dividers will now be absent from now on unless there is a request for them to return.

My 'Escapee' arc will be in 4 chapters instead of 3, however the 4th chapter will mostly be 'reunion' per se and there will also be a MAJOR FEELS CLIFFY BOMB! Seriously, be warned. Someone may actually kill me for it.

Also want to apologize to Catovia for not replying to your review for chapter 11 on the previous chapter. I dunno what I was thinking leaving it out. *sigh* Well, here's my overdue reply, hehe:

(Ch 11): I was going for the feels in that chap. I'm still working out the kinks in the story-line, but my main plan was to leave gaps in the first story where I'd slowly fill them in in this story, and so far, I think its working. I'm slowly snaking Luci(Lucifer hates that nickname xP) into this story… or am I? As far as you know so far, it's only the angels behind this. ;)

(ch.12) Don't worry, cuttie Ciel will return! I actually try to make him cute while still keeping him in character. It's so hard writing such a negative character. Yes, yes they are. ALL demons are perverted. *sigh* Oh luci, you sick, dirty mind. XD Oh, and Cliffy's are just gonna get worse, hun, especially chapter 14's. heheh, please don't kill me. *puts on sad puppy face*

Ciel and Sebastian sat side by side on a small boat that pushed gently across the large river. The man was singing happily about the London Bridge, which, unfortunately, Ciel found ironic. His fingers tapped against his knee to the tune of the man's singing.

The man abruptly stopped and craned his neck to the side, staring at Ciel with what could have been fear or curiosity. "Why, are you…? You're Ciel Phantomhive, aren't you?"

Ciel's eyes widened and his hair jumped gently at the wind tugging aggressively at it. His eyes glowed a hue of reds before they suddenly changed to iris purple and his body was shoved to the floor of the boat. Sebastian tried to grab the young Master, but his eyes did the same and his body was yanked straight up where his back was plank board straight.

"What… are you...-" Ciel's voice was cut short by a young boy who hung his head from the top of the boat.

"Piere, enough!" The boy called. He flipped down from the roof and landed neatly on his feet on the wooden floor. His black hair covered over his left eye neatly. The thick bunches of hair lying on either side of neck. In his hair were scattered blue-black feathers.

"But, huto-!" The old man gasped and his body gently rose from his feet and his toes just barely nicked the floor.

"No. Buts. Right, Piere?" Ciel instantly found the irony of the old man's "London Bridge" song disappear after hearing his name.

"S-sire!" Piere nodded hastily. His body fell back to the floor. Ciel's rose and was planted firmly on his feet While Sebastian was able to unstiffen.

"I apologize for that, but we can never be too careful with these stupid dolls running through the streets." The boy bowed his head sadly. "My name is Haruto Hatagashi. I am a friend of Catherine's."

"Catherine has another friend before Tran- Alois?!" Ciel gaped with a slight smirk hidden as well.

"I am more or less an Otouto to her."

"An… Otouto?" Ciel tipped his head to the side slightly.

"Brother. My apologies. I am used to the Japanese term rather than the English term. She was the only one to call me that and so I grew attached to the few words she did know in Japanese and I use them frequently."

"You were very close to her, weren't you?" Sebastian asks quietly.

"I still am!" Haruto snaps defensively. "She is my sister and always will be."

"What are you doing here then?" Ciel questioned with a frown.

"Looking for Saku of course. I was called by her real brother saying that they ran into some trouble and he needs a hand." Huto suddenly sighed and grabbed at the wheel of the boat. "Looks like we're running late..."

"Late? You had a specific time you wanted to find her?" Ciel scoffed with a smirk. "You should learn from him, Sebastian."

Sebastian gave his master a tired, glare and was about to say something before the young boy spoke up. "We'll need to fly if we want to be there on time."

"Fly? Seriously? Unless you have a plane then I doubt we...-" Ciel's eyes widened.

The boy's arms turned into wildly blackening wings the size of himself before. he dives off the boat side and Splashed into the water. Out of the rocking water jumped an extremly large bird the size of two school busses length-wise and at least five in width.

It was a strange bird, Ciel thought with a 'Tch' sound. He felt an arm wrap around his form swiftly as he was lifted off his feet hurriedly. "Sebastian!" He screamed, spotting Sebastian's coat collar hanging form one of the beast's talons.

The bird laughed happily before zigzagging in the air. "This will be fun for sure!"

Catherine jumped at the sight of the blood red eyes. She curled in around herself with a whimper. She couldn't take anymore torture.

She was able to fend off giant demon birds like Huto, or powerful, blood hungry vampire demons back in Japam. She's fought with giant demon hounds andwell built nekomimis. But she was stong and in full health at that time. She was no where near there now.

"Cat"

"Catherine!"

Her head snapped up from it's previous spot between her knees. Her eyes were filled with tears and they were bloodshot. Her phisical state in itself was thin, pale, and looking like skin and bones.

How long had she been trapped here?!

"Catherine! Get up!"

Catherine stretched her shaking legs, but she was unable to stand. At that moment, she jolted, searching frantically around her. The clickers- one minute they were nawing on her skin and bones like zombies and now they're gone, and a delicate light filled the void.

She knew that light... That light, so fragile and soft. It was something she'd seen in her worse times. She'd seen it when she needed a hand- healing hands. She saw that light many times in japan on certain occasions, but now, she missed it so.

"Alarix."

"Catherine, quickly!" She felt a strong hand grab her own and was pulled up. If it wasn't for the strong man holding her up, she'd have collapsed.

"Alarix," she croaked.

"Don't worry, Cat, you're safe now. Huto is on his way now. He's with Ciel and Sebastian. You're brother is waiting for is at the exit with someone you might remember."

He carefully lifted her up into his arms and began into a fast run, carrying her to safety. On the way, clickers- or whatever they really were- were clinging to Alarix's back, forcing him to shake them off and beat them with his sword.

"Alarix! Catherine!" Cat heard her brother shout out frightfully. She could tell he say the dozens of... Things chasing them from behind.

"Catch her and run!" Alarix shouted, tossing her to her brother. John did just that, dashing out the door. Behind him followed a familiar doll-person, Drucel.

Drucel had been brought em back by his master long ago and stayed in hiding with him since then. He had recently decided to take up to care for Catherine and her brother; he was taken care of in return by Alarix.

John and Drucel had made it outside where the sun nearly burned the weak neko girl in her brother's arms.

"Johnny, Drucel, Saku!" A loud screech echoed from the air as the large bird landed, tossing the demons away carelessly.

"Hu-Huto?" Cat creeked.

"Yeah, I'm here now, sister. Alarix!" He swifter his head around Catherine's brother to see the white haired man slash at a few more creatures and slam the heavy door shut angrily.

"Catherine..." Ciel spoke with anger in his voice now. "Just why are you friends with Drucel and and angel?!"

bum bum bummm!

*faint whispering in background*

What? It's dun dun dun? Pffft, you're no fun!

Ok, so yeah, things are getting hectic with the gang. I just brought... 3 characters back! Someone say bam what!

So, what do you guys think of Huto? I tried to make his similar to Alois, but also... Not. Haha. I just love the little guy in the next chapter. He's so fragging adorable!

Alarix... Damn, my mental picture of him is so sexy! X3 yeah, so he'll have way more information in the next chapter.
