Chapter 47 – Chrome's Operation Part Two

A few hours later, the operation on Chrome ended and Chrome was resting in the resting room for patients with iMolte taking care of her.

After changing their clothes, Kikyo leads Molte to the library where Byakuran and the others are reading books.

~ In the library ~

Byakuran was reading the book he was reading before Molte's arrival while eating a packet of marshmallows with pineapple flavours again.

Somehow, Mukuro was twitching madly at that while reading about how to kill certain white-haired b*****d without leaving any evidence. Ken was reading about animals. Chikusa was reading about cleanliness.

Lancia was reading about mafia politics. Kuro was reading about romance and was already in her own world.

Kikyo and Molte entered the library at that state. Molte chuckled softly at it while Kikyo was trying very hard not to laugh. Then, he went to the kitchen to help Bluebell.

~ KHR ~

Byakuran noticed them and closed his book. "So… how did the operation went?" while still eating the marshmallows and Mukuro has already put down his book and was now aiming killing intent at him.

Molte chuckled a little and sat down near Byakuran. "It went well. And Bya-chan, please stop eating food that has pineapple flavours, at least when Mukuro is around."

"Kufufufu~" while Mukuro's hair was covering his eyes and he was leaking killing intent all around the library. "What do you mean by that… boss?"

Ken, Chikusa and Lancia have already put their books down to watch the show, but Kuro was still in her own world.

Molte smirked and lowered his fedora. "Ho~ do you want a taste of my animals?" with a dangerous glint in his eyes.

Mukuro paled at that and the killing intent he was releasing lessen a little.

Byakuran was curious. "Animals…?" He leaned closer to Molte and whispered. "Is it a Box Animal?"

Molte replied softly. "Yes. We will talk about this later," and he turns to look to Mukuro. "Mukuro, have you been reading that book the whole time I was operating on Chrome?" while pointing to the book he has put down beside him.

Mukuro looked away. "Yes…" and the killing intent around the library completely disappears.

Molte signed and face-palmed while he mumbled to Byakuran. "Is lunch ready yet?"

"I will ask Kikyo," and Byakuran snaps his fingers. "Kikyo~"

Kikyo appears while bowing. "Yes Byakuran-sama?"

"Is lunch ready yet?"

"Yes, Bluebell has put all the food onto the table on the dining room with my help. You may go and have lunch now."

Kikyo bows again and disappears.

Byakuran stood up. "Well… you heard him. Let us go and have lunch now~" and he started walking towards the door.

Molte stood up too and followed him, along with Mukuro, Ken and Chikusa who left their books on the table. Lancia also puts down his book and try to bring Kuro back from her fantasy world.

When they reach the door and look back to Lancia. Lancia was trying a lot of methods, but still cannot wake him up. Molte just signed and went over to them.

"Lancia, go with the others. I will take care of her."

Lancia nods and went to join the others at the door.

Molte signed while taking away the book she was reading, but still she did not have any reaction from her. Molte twitched at that. He just takes hold of Kuro's right hand and drags her to the door.

Byakuran smiled and opened the door wider for them to cross with Mukuro, Ken, Chikusa and Lancia following behind them.

~ Dining room ~

They entered the dining room and there was a long table with food on it. Bluebell and Kikyo were standing in a corner dressed as chefs.

Byakuran saw them. "Blue-chan and Kikyo can have lunch with us," and he turns to look at Molte. "Tsu-chan~ has the Kuro girl came around yet?"

Molte's looks at Kuro's face and quickly turn back to Byakuran. "Nope," while shaking his head.

"Do you mind if I use her as my first test subject for my new illusion that will cause ultimate nightmare?"

Molte raised an eyebrow. "Sure… but why did you not test it before?"

"Hmm~ I wanted to test it on you first~"

Molte twitched. "And why… do you want to test it on me?"

Byakuran smiled cheekily. "I did not want to test it on Blue-chan and Kikyo as it will probably destroy their minds. You on the other hand can survive my illusions and tell me how to make it stronger as you are stronger than the strongest hitman in the mafia world after all. But since Kuro is not awake… well~"

Molte signed. "Fine, you can do it on her. Just make sure her mind is not shattered where I cannot repair it."

"Sure~"

Molte lets Kuro down onto the floor and turn to Mukuro. "Mukuro, Ken, Chikusa, Lancia, I suggest you all to sit down around the table," while pointing to the table and then he pointed to Kikyo and Bluebell. "Kikyo and Bluebell should too. You do not want to how his illusion works, I can assure you that."

"Kufufufu~ why…?"

"Ho-oh~ why…?"

Mukuro and Kikyo together and they look at each other while blinking their eyes,

Molte shivered a little at that. "Please do not do that. And to answer your question, I have seen what Bya-chan's illusion was able to do when I saw him practice with it. It can be very bad on a person…" and whispered silently. "…sometimes…"

They immediately paled at that and quickly took their seats around the table.

Byakuran pouted. "Why did you tell them that~ how did you know about my illusion?"

Molte chuckled. "I am not telling you~" and he went to sit beside Mukuro.

~ KHR ~

~ Molte's Point Of View ~

I went to sit beside Mukuro while waiting for Bya-chan to cast the illusion on the still day-dreaming Kuro.

Mukuro then leaned to me and whispered. "Where is my dear Nagi boss? Is she alright?"

I replied. "Yes, she is fine. She is resting in one of the rooms means for patients in the medical room. iMolte is taking care of her while wearing a lab coat," and signed while shaking my head. "I do not even want to know why my own illusion seems to have a personality of its own."

"Kufufufu~ it is weird."

~ Byakuran's Point Of View ~

I saw Molte sat down beside Mukuro and talked to him. I glared at that and look back to the Kuro girl on the floor where Molte left her.

I placed my hands on Kuro's sleeping form and activated my Mist flames. 'Nightmare Illusion!'

The illusion I placed on Kuro will let her see her worse nightmare she herself will be able to think of.

~ Normal Point of View ~

A few seconds later, Kuro woke up screaming and opened her eyes. Byakuran stopped his illusion on Kuro and stood back up, but still stand beside her.

Kuro sat up and look around. "Where am I?"

Byakuran smiled at her. "You are at the dining room."

Molte smirked and folded his hands. "Kuro… that is what you get for day-dreaming."

Kuro whined. "Why did you have to use those nightmares to wake me up?"

"You were the one who did not wake up no matter what. And since Bya-chan offered to wake you up, I see no reason not to take his offer to wake you up."

Kuro whined again. "That is so not fair~"

Molte waved his hand. "Whatever, just sit down and have lunch."

"Sure~"

"Okay."

Byakuran helps Kuro up and lead her to the table. Kuro then sat down beside Lancia and Byakuran sat beside Kikyo just opposite of Molte.

"So… let us start eating lunch."

"Sure~ After this… Mol-chan and I have much to discuss about. You guys can do whatever you want."

They all nod their heads and started to have lunch.
