\\\ Present, ISS Relativity \\\

"So do you see it yet, the trap I have set?" Braxton brags to the broken and bruised Romulan hybrid in front of him, "My predecessor died because he was weak, and we could not track the girl, except to this planet some centuries later, after she had already left and the inhabitants had long since died off, leaving underground ruins and easily manipulated psionic interfacing programs." Braxton merely kicks Ace in the chin again. "Too bad they were stupid enough to leave access open to anyone who could move a marble with telekinesis or use telepathy, like half my crew can," he says, "They didn't leave any locks, besides that hologram, who we easily corrupted to act as our eyes for when the trap was sprung, and you just happened to be the juicy bait we caught to sweeten the pot." Ace merely stares defiantly back at the arrogant man, spitting on his shoe as he comes closer to grab him.

"Gregs is in a madhouse, mind fractured by time travel against people like you, and Berg never wanted to return to the Delta Quadrant, he took up his own mantle ages ago, and I am merely the failed cloning attempt by Tal Shiar scientists to use their DNA to create a telepathic Romulan, except I wasn't 'pure' enough," he says, "Who else could you get, besides a woman, who should by all accounts would have died millennia ago." At that Braxton merely laughs, and drags Ace closer to his chair, before sitting down and waiting.

"My dear boy you aren't a very good listener, I never said I was after you or the other two anomalies, did I?" he asks no one in particular, "The cat was just playing with the ball of yarn, before the mouse came into its open paws." With that cryptic comment, Ace eyes is drawn to the view screen, which shows a Romulan ship in warp. "Ah, she's smelled the cheese," Braxton says, "Let's see the trap sprung..."

\\\ En Route to Damocles' Last Known Position \\\

Nali i'Gol-teth Aetarra, once known as T'Aminu of Gol, or T'Lie of Vulcan, stands at the bow of the bridge of her ship, admiring the view of the stars streaking by. 'I promised them I would be strong,' she thinks to herself, "Now just let me be swift enough to reach my third adoptive son in time...' The Aelahl-class streaks in warp towards the unwitting trap ahead of them.

"Tell me, why such a petty revenge ploy?" Ace asks, staring up from the small puddle of blood that had formed when Braxton had let him go, and he fell face first to the floor, "Why is getting revenge against a dead Vulcan so important, and why avenge someone you so clear hate for failing?" Braxton merely smiles.

"Well, what do you know? Now you're asking the important questions," Braxton replies, "Because she is still a key to winning, you see the thing about having an arsenal of weaponry unrestricted by the morals of your Federation? Practical toys your scientists wouldn't touch because of 'morals'." Ace watches the screen, as the Paehhos warps into view within the system. At that the screens light up with two faces, one of Tovan Khev the other Nali, the Captain of the Paehhos.

"ISS Relativity, Damocles, this is the Paehhos responding to the distress signal sent out form this sector," the female Romulan says, white\black hair framing her face and stern demeanor, "May I ask why a Mobius-Class ship is this far out in the Delta Quadrant, away from the main invasion staging grounds Leeta seems content with; let alone why you seem to be interrogating a member of the Romulan Republic and solidifying war between our universes?"

"Bah, Leeta, she is a pretender backed by the wrong side, a mere pawn in the long running war I am facing, filthy pretender," Braxton replies, "And don't worry, I am done with the Captain here, get him off my ship." Suddenly Ace finds himself on his ships transporter pad, trying very hard not to spasm in pain. Cutting off the Damocles, Braxton returns his gaze to Nali, who he smiles at. "I'm glad I met the woman who had the pleasure of killing that reckless hero O'Brien; he lost his way in the end, he even messed up a second chance by not returning to us," Braxton says, "Don't worry though, I'm not the one whose wanting revenge, no, I believe I have a fun way of eliminating you though, so they can't get to you." He turns to his science officer and nods, the female human smiling wickedly. He turns back to the screen and smiles.

"Believe me, T'Aminu, I hope you have a nice cold day in whatever hellish torment you end up at..." Braxton says, as he cuts off the screen with a satisfied smirk, "Helm, activate the return mechanism, we're going home."

\\\ The Paehhos \\\

As Nali watched the Relativity disappear in an explosion of yellow light, her ship goes to red alert. "Captain," a Romulan science officer states, "It appears that the Terran ship activated a delayed- Iconian Gateway?" Nali watches as the Gateway is shown on-screen, and Nali can see some string of energy on the other side. "The Gateway- whatever is on the other side of that Gate, it's exerting enough gravimetric shear- we're being pulled in!" they continue, "Recommend we fortify our shields as much as-" The light was blinding on the bridge, as the Gateway began to consume the Aelahl-class ship. The last few seconds Nali could see, everything was distorted, as if pulled like stretchy taffy. And then there was white, blinding light.

\\\ The Other Side \\\

Coughing into the pile of sand, Nali sits up, and sees nothing but red sand for a good quarter mile, either side ending in jungle, ocean, or just more sand. Deciding to take her chances with the creatures of the jungle, Nali begins to trek into the jungle.
