Naraku's face hit the wall with so much force, it cracked. He wouldn't be moving for a while. But as one danger left her, another seemed to come.
Sesshomaru was here.
Immediately, Kagome skidded to the wall, the fear in her eyes wasn't missed. It saddend him that the fear was still there, rooted deeply within her. He left a wound that would never be mended – he left a bruise on her that would ache whenever his face was seen. For so long now, he'd wanted to go back – as foolish as it was, he knew he could not.
He bought this upon the both of them.
Nothing but misery, and fear.
"Sesshomaru…" In her eyes; opened with fear, she saw both a savior…and a destroyer, "Yahiko…Akai…" If he weren't alive, none of this would have happened to her. She would have had a life that was beyond this – a life much better. Not a life spent hating herself, and all things.
He reached out his hand to her. She flinched back, "Kagome, please…" He looked her in the eye, holding his hand out once more, "She is waiting for us."
Kagome wanted to crawl into a corner. Everything was catching up to her so quickly – everything she'd wanted to leave behind was creeping up her legs, slithering through her ears…whispering to her. Her head was spinning as she looked back at Sesshomaru's face.
His…his handsome face.
And she took his hand.
His warm, gentle hand.
She didn't know what she was doing, nor did she know of what to do. His touch felt so inviting. Yet his touch was that of an evil master, beating on his slaves.
She was gaining attachment to his evils.
It was the syndrome.

Itachi – Hello all! Thanks for waiting on my slow self! Now to riddle you with updates on 'Lie With Me.' First; the story will be coming to a close sometime soon, but not super soon. I intend to continue this story for a little while. Second; yes, Kagome has developed something like the Stocklorm Syndrome – she's finding a twisted attachment to Sesshomaru.
