Author's Note: So Maria screwed up, but don't worry...he's not dead.
"You're such an idiot!" Saul beamed, walking around the room. "Why didn't you read the fucking directions?"
"Don't yell at me!" Maria replied. "It's not like you're perfect!"
"I may not be perfect but I'm not stupid! Now again, Tobirama Senju is sleeping upstairs and it's your fault!" He threw his hands up.
Peter sat in the armchair, looking at his two younger siblings argue, he couldn't help but laugh. Saul, took immediate notice to this.
"What the hell are you laughing at?" He asked, clenching his fists. Peter rose an eyebrow and frowned.
"Watch your language Saul, I'm still your older brother."
"Well, if you're my older brother...then why don't you ever act like it?"
At that moment, Maria cleared her throat, already feeling the tension growing.
"Act like it? What are you talking about?" Peter stood. "You're just being an ungrateful little brat_"
"Am I?" Saul asked. "Am I?!" He repeated his voice louder. "That's funny, because all these years you've been ignoring me, the only time you acknowledge me is when I mess up or make a mistake! You're supposed to be a father figure, like Maria is a mother figure! In these past few weeks, Tobirama has been more of a father figure to me then you've been in nine years_"
And the inevitable happened. Peter leaped on Saul, pinning him to the ground, Maria yelped but tried to pull them apart. Peter punched Saul in the face, and Saul retorted by getting the upper hand and punching Peter in the face. Their positions switched now as Saul was the one hovering above Peter with his hands around his older brother's neck. Maria quickly wrapped her arms around her brother's waist trying to pull him off of Peter. This only ended in one of the brother's roughly pushing her back, causing her to crash into and break the wooden sitting table.
She grunted, feeling dizzy for a few seconds until finally, she mustered enough strength to stand up. Her brother's were standing as well, still fighting, it appeared that Peter had the upperhand, but Saul still continued to fight.
Sluggishly, due to her head injury, Maria made her way to her siblings and she too joined the fight. Physically, she may not have been as strong as the two but she was smaller, she was quicker. She was able to distance them quickly, pushing both of them back and before they came back at each other, she stood in between them.
"Stop it! Both of you! Don't you see, this family is falling apart!" She looked at Peter. "You two are brothers, act like it! Sure Saul said something rude, but don't try to kill him for it." She looked at Saul. "And Saul, Peter tries his best, don't compare he and Tobirama in such a way!"
Both brothers were angry, ignoring their sister. Peter ended up muttering something, turning around and heading out the door. Saul cursed and went up stairs. The two left Maria there alone to clean the broken table by herself.
Tobirama knew he was a fool to actually trust the Uchiha siblings. They were all the same, he should have known. It was only a trick, a ploy used to gain his trust, saving him from that battle field. Tobirama wondered if they would attempt to take his life as he slept, or worse, make him their prisoner.
Tobirama shuddered when he thought about that and shamed himself for being so dumb as to trust them.
They were Uchiha, and they lived up to their reputation, Tobirama should have seen it coming.
In the days that followed, a silence had fallen upon the Uchiha household, the two brother's didn't even look at each other. The only person who spoke was Maria, for the most part, when she wasn't treating Tobirama. Saul practiced outside alone, not wishing to be disturbed. Maria realized how he held on to some techniques Tobirama taught him, that made her heart hurt for her younger brother.
Maria was doing that well either. In Tobirama's silent sleep, she only came to terms with how much she longed for his company. It was odd that he had to be in a coma for her to realize that, but she felt something for him...something greater than friendship. Was it love?
She groaned at the thought of it, only silently praying that Tobirama would soon wake from his temporary slumber.
The day was quiet, and surprisingly, the siblings sat quietly in the sitting room together.
Maria was knitting nervously, Saul was staring into space and Peter was reading. In the midst of the heavy silence that followed, there was a knock on the door. This seemed to break all three siblings from their trance.
The staring game went on, as the knock continued on and Maria, rolling her eyes decided to stand up and open the door herself.
"I'm coming, hold on a sec." The knocking continued on until she got to the door, yanking it open. "Good God, who the_"
Her complaint froze in her throat as she stared blankly at the man whom stood in front of her, smiling without a care in the world.
"Hello, Maria." He spoke quietly. "May I come in?"
And without protest she complied. "Yes, Izuna-san, you may. It's strange, seeing someone like you around."
