Chapter 58 – Going Back

The next day, Kikyo and Bluebell went into Byakuran's room but instead of seeing Byakuran, they saw an empty bed with a note on the paper.

Bluebell panicked. "Boo… where is Byakuran-sama?"

Kikyo calmly picked up the piece of paper left by Byakuran on the table and reads it. After he finished, he throws it into the rubbish bin.

"Ho-oh~ it seems Byakuran-sama was staying somewhere else last night."

"What do you mean Kikyo?"

"Byakuran-sama wrote it down onto the paper and left it on the table. He says not to worry as he will be back soon."

"When is he coming back?"

"Ho-oh~ who knows? Let us have breakfast first."

Bluebell nods and they went to prepare breakfast and have it.

~ Inside apartment '1' ~

Ken's face was on the table. "Where is food, byon?"

Chikusa pushed his glasses up. "Ken. Manners."

"Kufu~ Ken, sit properly."

"Okay Mukuro-sama," and Ken seats up straight.

Kuro whined. "Where is boss?"

Mukuro signed. "I will contact him," and he closed his eyes.

I woke up when someone was calling for me in my mind. I yawned and closed my eyes.

'What…?'

Mukuro was now sweating bullets as Molte has a rule that disturbing his sleep would mean punishment.

'B-Boss…? Were you still sleeping?'

'Yes,' and Molte yawned. 'What do you need?'

'B-Breakfast…'

Molte signed. 'Tell Lancia to make it, and remind him that Chrome only takes light meals for now…'

Mukuro signed in relieve. 'Kufufufu~ of course boss.'

~ Mukuro's Point Of View ~

I opened my eyes and blinked.

"What did boss say?"

"Boss says that Lancia will make breakfast for all of us."

Lancia stood up. "Okay."

"Kufu~ and to remind you that Chrome takes light meals for now..."

Lancia nods. "Got it," and he went into the kitchen.

He prepared breakfast and we had it. Then, we went on to do our readings.

~ Molte's Point Of View ~

I woke up and went into the washroom. I cleaned up and changed my clothes into a suit. I went out of the room and saw Byakuran waking up.

"Morning…"

Byakuran stretched. "Morning Tsu-chan," and got out of bed.

I snapped my fingers and the two beds in the room disappeared. "Wake Yu-chan up and tell her to wake her mother up. I will be preparing breakfast."

"Sure~"

I smirked and went out of the room. I disappeared with the mists to the kitchen and prepare breakfast.

~ Byakuran's Point Of View ~

I rubbed my eyes and went to the washroom to prepare myself. I then woke Yu-chan up and told her to prepare herself and wake her mother up.

~ Yuni's Point Of View ~

I was woken up by Bya-chan and I did as he told me to. I prepared myself and changed my clothes. Then, I went to wake mother up with Bya-chan following me.

I woke mother up and together we went to the dining room.

Byakuran, Yuni and Aria went to the dining room. When they opened the door, they were greeted by many kinds of food on the table of the dining room and they practically drool.

Molte smirked. "You like it?"

They ignored Molte and sat down around the table. Molte sweat-dropped and followed them to seat down. They began to have breakfast.

~ After breakfast ~

~ In the living room ~

Molte was standing up while Byakuran, Yuni and Aria were sitting down.

"You will have to go back to your Famiglia's base soon, Aria-sama, Byakuran-sama."

Aria and Byakuran looked weirdly at him. "Why are you calling that, Molte / Mol-chan?" Then, they looked at each other and tilted their head. "Hmm…?"

Aria pointed to Byakuran. "I have been meaning to ask… who is this?"

"His name is Byakuran, the boss of the Gesso Famiglia and the true owner of the Mare rings chosen by the Mare rings themselves."

"O~ nice to meet you."

"Likewise..."

"As to your question, I am just a lowly freelance hitman… compared to you my status is different. But that is just the cover. I cannot let anyone know that I am actually building up my own Famiglia when I am supposed to be just a freelance hitman."

"You are determined."

"Good luck~"

Molte smiled a little. "Thanks," and he holds out his hands. "Come, Byakuran-sama, Aria-sama. We must leave before your Famiglia gets too worry and send out a search party."

Byakuran and Aria walks to Molte and each took hold of one of his hands.

"Mind will not~"

"I know. I meant Aria-sama's Famiglia."

Aria signed and face-palmed. "Let us just go."

"Sure. Goodbye, Yuri-sama."

"Bye bye, Yu-chan."

"Goodbye Yuni, I will see you soon."

"Goodbye~ please come and visit me again~"

Molte's mists surround them as they disappeared.

Mists appear in the room. After the mists disappear, the three people appeared.

"First stop, Byakuran-sama's Famiglia's HQ."

Byakuran walked to his bed and sat down. "Thanks for last night Mol-chan. Visit me soon~"

Molte smirked. "If I have the time to…"

Mists gather around Molte and Aria as they disappeared once more.

~ Aria's office ~

Gamma was sitting in her office and he noticed mists gathering in the middle of the room. Gamma gets his weapon ready in case of enemy attack.

Once the mists cleared, it revealed Molte and Aria. Gamma signed in relieve and lets go of his gun.

Molte leads Aria to her seat behind the table and Gamma walks over to in front of the table. "Welcome back boss. The Famiglia is worried about you. The main leaders are requesting for a meeting with you."

Aria signed and lay her head down onto the table. "Since I am in a good mood today, I will listen to them. Gamma, call for a meeting at once."

"Okay boss."

"Before that Aria-sama, I wish to speak with Gamma privately for a while. Will you let me?"

Aria raised an eyebrow at the request but still agreed. "Sure."

"Thank you Aria-sama…" and Molte grabs Gamma's hand. "Come with me Gamma."

Aria watched amusedly as Gamma was dragged out of the office by Molte into an empty room nearby.

~ Inside the empty room ~

Molte snaps his fingers and a sound barrier appeared.

Gamma straightened his suit. "What do you want to talk to me about? And how did you know about this room?"

Molte waved his hand. "The second question does not matter," and he smirked. "Did you prepare a ring for your proposer to Aria-sama?"

Gamma shuttered and blushed a little. "W-What… are you saying…?"

"Hmm~ it is useless to lie. After all, I got it right here."

"W-What…?" while Gamma turns around to face Molte.

Molte took out a small box from his clothes and Gamma's eyes widened.

Gamma immediately took it back and kept it into his jacket. "H-How did you take it…?"

"I am a hitman you know. You let your guard down just because I am a kid and you do not believe what Aria-sama said is true. Well, if I was sent to kill you…" Suddenly, Molte was behind him and pointing his gun at Gamma's head. "You would have been dead in just a second."

Gamma was sweating bullets and turned around to slowly back away from Molte. 'I do not need him as an enemy…'

Molte smirked and covered his eyes with his fedora. "Yes, you are right. You do well without underestimating kids, especially kids like me."

Gamma panicked. 'S**t! How did he know? Don't tell me he reads minds too…?'

"No, I do not. You are just too easy to read from your expression."

Gamma calmed down and cleared his throat. "You did not come to just talk about only 'that' did you?"

Molte humped. "Changing the subject now, are we? Fine, I will just play along. The reason was because I was requested by Silence to give you this," and he took out a necklace from his jacket.

Gamma's eyes widened. "Is that not…?"

"I see you recognize it. Yes, it is the same one that Aria-sama is wearing." Then, Molte helps Gamma wears it. "You will have to remember that the necklace you are wearing now can only be removed by its creator. If you or anyone else tries to take off the necklace, you will be getting a surprise waiting for you."

"W-"

"You do not have to worry. The necklace can never be damaged and cannot be removed by anyone at all."

Gamma nods. "Then why can you put it on for me?"

Molte smirked. "Silence made it so. He made me the one to deliver his necklaces to the ones he choose. He will at least make it so it will be safe for me to put it on for other people. But that is all I can do."

Gamma touched the locket and whispered. "Silence, maker of the locket I hold." The necklace glowed and a green ring appeared on his hand. He then puts the ring near the locket and it disappeared back into the locket.

Molte raised an eyebrow. "So… you heard and remembered what Aria-sama say on that day she showed me her ring. Good, now go along. You have to tell them to gather in the meeting room. I will stay with Aria-sama until the meeting is over. I am sure this meeting will make her health worse…" and signed.

Molte then walks to the door while the sound barrier around the room disappeared and he opens the door.

Suddenly, Gamma asked. "Why did Silence make these necklaces? Do you know the reason?"

Molte stopped and faced back Gamma. "I know… but I cannot explain anything about it, I promised him. However know this. The one who made the necklaces, made it to protect the chosen wearer of the necklace."

Gamma's eyes widened. "But that is…"

"Yes, the ones who wear the necklace made by Silence will always be protected. When the chosen wearer is in danger, Silence will save the chosen wearer from it. He is that kind of person after all," and Molte walks out of the room.
