Me: Soo, this is the last chapter!

Leo: Finally!

Me: Oh be quiet!

Jason: *Sighs* Really?
Me: THAT'S IT! *Walks to a closet*
Leo: Jason what is she going to do?

Jason: I don't know Leo…

Percy: Well, see ya! *runs out the door which locks behind him*

Jason: PERSEUS JACKSON!

Leo: His full name is Perseus?
Jason: Yeah… why?
Leo: Wasn't the original Perseus a son of Zeus.

Jason: Yeah, so?

Leo: Never mind.

Me: *Returns and ties the two boys up* there, that's better.

Jason: Mmmm.

Leo: *Tips chair over with himself*

Me: I guess I have to do the disclaimer. I own nothing but my OC's. Also the last chapter I deleted and am going to create into a different story.

Jason: Hmmmm!

Me: Sorry Jason, I don't speak muffled.

3rd Person POV

Leo made sure that everything was perfect. His bag had everything he needed; food, water, clothing, and a few other things. He left a note and the picture of everyone after the war. At least they would have something to remember him by. Leo signed the note with his name, making sure not to leave any hints of where he was going. He didn't even know, maybe Alaska… the land beyond the gods. He hoped that meant monsters to.

Leo waited until everyone was at the pavilion, they wouldn't come looking for him. They never did. Running into the woods, he went a different way then the first night. Making sure to steer clear of Zeus' fist, Leo went outside the boundary line. How did he know? He just could, no clue how he did. Leo made sure not to leave any clues that he came this way. They would just have the note and picture. The only way they would find him was if he ran into them while they were on a quest, or if he returned, which he already promised himself he wouldn't.

"Good bye Camp Half-Blood, hello dangerous world of monsters. Leo's coming!" Leo pretended to sound enthusiastic, but he couldn't stop second guessing himself.

What if they found him? What if he got caught? Leo knew that he had a reputation to keep up, one that he couldn't afford to lose. He wondered if he should change his name, that way they couldn't find him by IM's. Would that work? Probably, it's worth a shot.

"From now on," Leo whispered to himself, "I am no longer Leo Valdez, I am Lance Valero."

He didn't hear any thunder, but he decided that if he introduced himself to people as Lance Valero it would be enough. Looking in his money pouch, he wondered if he had enough for a flight to Alaska. Or even a train ride would work. As long as he got away from New York, he should be fine.

He went to a nearby public library, probably the last place people would think to look for him, and searched airline tickets to Alaska. Leo didn't have enough, he was short a few dollars. Next thing he looked up was train tickets to Alaska, barely enough money. Don't ask how he got enough, he just did. Leo silently cheered and purchased a ticket under his new name, Lance Valero.

"So, Lance," A librarian said coming up behind him, "You're going to Alaska, vacation or what?"

"I'm moving there," Leo said, "Why do you ask?"

"Just interested, I have some family up there if you need any help settling in."

Leo immediately thought monster, but decided to give the lady a chance.

"Sure," Leo said, "Thanks."
"Here, my name is Sondra Jameson. Just tell them I sent you," Sondra said smiling.

She handed him their address and her phone number. Outside Leo saw Mrs. Blofis, Percy's mom and decided that he needed to leave, before she saw him. Grabbing his ticket -he had printed it out- Leo took the side door and ran to the train station. His train left in thirty minutes. Mrs. Blofis saw him though and pulled out her phone. Probably to call Percy, and tell him that she saw Leo.

Leo got on the train safely, he kept looking around though. Waiting to see any of the demigods run up and stop him. Right when the train was about to turn the corner, Leo saw Percy and Annabeth run up looking for him. Leo didn't even wave. A man walked into the compartment, he had brown hair that went to his chin, kind brown eyes, and a gray coat.

"Is this seat free?" the man asked.

Leo noticed that the man had a faint Australian accent. He nodded his head.

"The seats free," Leo said, "Hi, I'm Lance Valero."
"I'm Liam Brown," Liam replied shaking Leo's hand.

"Are you from around here?"

"No, I'm from Australia mate."

"I'm from Texas, lived here for less than a year. I'm moving to Alaska."

Liam shrugged, "I'm going to Alaska for my mum's funeral."

"I'm sorry, my mom died when I was eight, a warehouse fire."

Liam gave Leo a genuine smile. (A/N I just now realized that they both have 'L' names!) They chatted for a bit and even shared some stories from their past. Leo mostly told stories from before his mom died. What he wanted to be when he grew up and what he planned on doing now. Liam told stories of when he was younger. One of them was when he thought he could fly so he went to the roof and jumped off. He ended up breaking both his arm and leg.

"Wait," Leo said laughing, "You tried to fly?"

"I told ya that, didn't I mate?" Liam replied chuckling.

"But, you can't fly, unless you can control the winds."

"I know that Lance, well you could fly if you had wings as well."

The train stopped and it took them a bit to realize that they were now in Alaska and Leo had to find a job as Lance Valero. That is now his name.

"Well Lance, here is where we part our ways. Call me sometime, mate," Liam said handing Leo (Lance now) a card with his number on it.

"Thanks, and I will," Leo promised.

Leo found a job at a café, Sea Bean Café to be exact. It paid well and Leo was a waiter. He also lives above the café in the Seward Vacation Rental; his boss takes some of his paycheck to pay for the rental.

2 Years Later!

Slowly Leo got used to being called Lance Valero and even called Sondra's family and met up with them. They even had a daughter around his age that he started dating. She has soft green and blue eyes with brown hair. Her name is Jessica Jameson, Sondra's niece. Liam moved to New York, but they became pen-pals.

"Hey mate, long time no see," a voice said behind him.

"Liam, I missed you man. This is Jessica, my girlfriend," Leo said getting up.

"Lance," Jessica complained, but she was laughing.

"Hi, I'm Liam. Nice to meet you sheila," Liam said shaking her hand, "Lance has told me a lot about you."

Jessica blushed and Leo laughed, these were his new friends. He constantly thought about his old friends and the way Percy and Annabeth looked when they were trying to find him. When he was thinking this he saw his old friends. They were talking and looking around. Leo stiffened.

"Lance honey, are you okay?" Jessica asked looking worried.

"Yeah, let's go to my apartment. It's cold out here," Leo laughed.

"It's always cold in Alaska mate," Liam pointed out, but he followed the two of them into the apartment.

Before they went inside, Leo looked back and saw them looking at the picture. The one that he left behind, he ushered them inside and turned his back to them. They were in his past and he is happy with Jessica, happier than he had ever been before. Sure he missed them, but he wasn't going to talk to them. Not after two years of not talking to them. Jessica took of her pink jacket, which she hated, and put it on the coat hook. Liam and Leo did the same. There was a fire in the fireplace, as always, and they all sat around it.

"So, what's been going on with you Liam?" Leo asked.

"Well, I have a girl friend," Liam blushed.

"Really who is it, I need details!" Jessica exclaimed leaning forward.

"Whoa sheila, calm down. Her name is Madeline; she goes to a camp every summer. She has blonde hair and gray eyes."
It sounded a lot like Annabeth, probably one of her sisters. Leo listened closely and heard Annabeth's name. Liam had met her once and she was looking for him non-stop with her other friends. Didn't describe him thankfully, but asked Liam to look for him. Leo heard a knock on the door.

"Who could that be?" Jessica asked.

Leo had an idea, but didn't like it. He got up and looked through the peep hole. Sure enough, it was the demigod groups. Jessica came over and looked into the peep hole as well.

"Liam, there's a girl that looks like how you described Madeline," Jessica said turning to him.

Liam walked over and looked through the peep-hole, "That's Annabeth, not Madeline. What's she doing here?"
Leo wanted to say that he knew, but he shook his head and didn't.

"Lance? Do you know?" Jessica asked turning to him.

Leo sighed and decided it was time for the truth. Especially since it was going to come up eventually and he wanted his girlfriend to find out from him and not anyone else. He gestured to the seat and sat down himself. Liam and Jessica looked at Leo confused.

"Lance?" Jessica asked her blue and green eyes were worried.

"Actually that's the first thing. My name isn't Lance Valero its actually Leo Valdez and those people out there are my old friends that I ran away from two years ago," Leo looked down, "I came here to get away from them. I changed my name and I'm not planning on changing it back."

Leo expected Jessica to yell at him, instead she gave him a tight hug. Liam clapped his hand on Leo's back. Leo smiled he had nice new friends.

"Should we open the door?" Liam asked.

"Sure, be prepared for injuries and a lot of yelling," Leo warned, "And possible sparking and storms."

If Liam or Jessica found this weird they didn't say anything.
"I'm glad you were honest with me," Jessica whispered.

"Thanks, sorry I lied for you for two years," Leo replied.

"It's fine… just no more lying Lance."

"I can't promise that… we'll see after this. You might pass out if I tell you about us."

Jessica looked worried and Liam opened the door. Annabeth stormed in and the others followed her. Seeing Leo, her gray eyes narrowed and the others looked around. They all looked straight at him, sparks were flying off of Jason's hands, water was swirling around Percy, Frank seemed like he was going from bear back to himself (meaning his form was flickering), Hazel had jems sprouting around her, Tiana had this weird black, white, and sea-green glow around her, Piper was giving off an aura of power, Annabeth was glaring at him, and Leo didn't see Nico. He was probably waiting for him to try and make a run for it or he was just hiding in the shadows.

"Hi?" Leo tried.

That set off Annabeth, "What were you thinking Valdez, running off like that, only leaving a note!"

Leo flinched and Jessica was staring at the demigods with Liam.

"GUYS!" Leo tried to stop Annabeth from shouting.

"Everyone was looking for you, we checked where the train stopped and saw it was Alaska. We figured that you would have went off somewhere, not actually go here!" Annabeth continued, "We had all the god-"
"ANNABETH!"
Annabeth stopped and looked at Leo. She stared at him and the others stared at him in shock. Percy was the only one that she let interrupt her. Annabeth narrowed her eyes and before Leo lost his nerve he started talking.

"First of all I go by Lance Valero now and second they know nothing but my true name," Leo said, "And that I ran away two years ago. This is my girlfriend Jessica Jameson and my good friend…"

"Liam Brown," Annabeth interrupted, "Why didn't you tell me where Leo was!"
"First of all sheila I didn't even know who Lance here really was."
"Leo," Annabeth snapped interrupting Liam, "His name is Leo."

"Actually, I go by Lance Valero now and that is how it will stay," Leo replied in the same tone as Annabeth, "Now let Liam finish."

"And he just told us sheila before we let you in," Liam finished.

Annabeth narrowed her eyes at Leo, "You lied to them for two years."
"Actually, I changed my name to Lance Annabeth and that is how I am keeping it," Leo said.

"Leo… Lance," Jason changed the name when Leo glared at him, "We need to go back to Camp."
"We?"

"Yes, you're coming with us."

"Jason, I live here now. My girlfriend lives here to! I'm not going back!"

Jason narrowed his eyes, and the sparks sparked more now and Jessica stepped back and grabbed Leo's arm. Liam looked at the sparks with a scared look on his face. Leo glared at Jason.

"Jason, they don't know anything about us," He hissed looking at the sparks.

Slowly the sparks went away and the demigods looked down. Leo sighed and gestured to the bed. All the demigods sat down and Leo sighed. Jessica slowly loosened her grip, but her green and blue eyes were still wide with fright. Liam was still looking at Jason's hands like he was expecting them to spark again. Leo was actually waiting for that to happen to.

"So, how's Ambrosia?" Leo asked putting his arm around Jessica.

Frank looked startled, "She's dead, drove herself crazy from her brother's death."

"Oh, how long ago was that?"

Percy shook his head, "Not long after you left. It was around a few weeks."

Annabeth, Piper, and Hazel looked down and Leo saw that they're holding back tears. He didn't know that they had gotten close to her, but then again he hadn't known much about anything about what happened after he left. Jessica sent him a questioning glance and he waved her off and mouthed later. Liam looked at them and he glared at them.

"Why was your hand sparking, mate?" Liam asked.

Leo sighed and nodded at Jason, who had asked him a silent question.

"Do you guys remember what I told you about the Greek gods?" Leo asked.

"Yeah, I unconsciously memorized it," Jessica answered leaning her head on Leo's shoulder.

"Well, they're real, son of Hephaestus at your service."

"Then who are they the children of, lades?" Liam asked as Jessica gaped.

"Poseidon," Percy sighed.

"Jupiter," Jason shrugged.

"Pluto," Hazel said.

"Mars," Frank responded.

"Aphrodite," Piper groaned.

"Athena, and don't ask," Annabeth said glaring at Jessica as she opened her mouth.

"Alaska is the land beyond the gods," Leo explained, "That's why I came here; I changed my name just in case Iris can reach here."

"She can't," Percy answered, "Trust me."

"Yes, but you guys might have asked around for me… and it was easier in case I decided to move to Canada or something," Leo shrugged.

Jessica and Liam looked at each other and shrugged. Jessica suddenly brightened up at an idea, Leo looked at her and she smiled at him. Liam seemed to understand and he gasped. For some odd reason Liam could read Jessica like a book, it was creepy and slightly awkward. Jessica could read Leo like a book as well, so she seemed to understand his feeling.

"Lance, what if I moved to New York with you?" Jessica asked.

"He would probably have to switch back to his old name," Annabeth reminded them, "Everyone, but a random librarian, knows him as Leo Valdez."
Leo flinched at his old name. He wasn't sure if Jessica was serious or not, they had been talking about moving in with him for a while. They hadn't really taken the big step yet. Jessica's mom was still slightly wary of Leo, believing he wasn't very honest with Jessica. Which Leo wasn't able to really compete with at the time, but now he has told Jessica everything.

"Really?" Leo asked, "You're willing to go all the way to New York from Alaska?"

"Well, yeah," Jessica answered giving Leo an 'Are you serious?' look.

Leo kissed Jessica's cheek and the demigods smiled at the couple, Leo looked a lot happier than he did a few years ago. Liam pretended to gag at the two. Leo pushed Liam over.

"Fine," Leo sighed, "I'll go back with you."

"You do realize you will have to go by Leo now?" Piper asked.

"Yeah, you okay with that Jess?" Leo asked turning to his girlfriend.

"I think you look more like a Leo than Lance," Jessica shrugged, "It might get some getting used to though."

Jessica left to go get packed and tell her mom. Leo threw clothes in his duffle bag and he found his tool belt at the bottom of a drawer. He stopped and, with shaking hands, picked it up. Jason walked over and looked over his shoulder.

"Leo what's wrong… oh," Jason said seeing his tool belt, "How long has it been since you used that."

"Uh, I think it was when I fixed the plumbing around one and a half years ago," Leo decided.

"That long ago, I remember when you wouldn't part with it," Piper replied folding all of Leo's clothes.

"You know you don't have to fold my clothes?" Leo asked putting on the tool belt.

"I know, but it started to bug me."
"Aphrodite girl," Leo coughed causing Piper to glare at him.

Jessica walked in, she never knocked anymore. She smiled seeing him with a tool belt on. Leo covered Liam's eyes, seeing as Jessica had changed into a short denim skirt, a low purple V-neck shirt, and black heels. Liam slapped Leo's arms.

"I've seen her in less, mate, remember prom?" Liam asked.

"Oh my gosh, she got in so much trouble for that and we got kicked out," Leo laughed.

"I told you never to mention that!" Jessica exclaimed pushing Liam and Leo over, "My mom got so mad at me!"

"That was your fault Jessie," Leo reminded her, "And I got in trouble too."

"That was because you were her date, mate," Liam told him.

"Jessica could totally be an Aphrodite girl," Percy decided.

"Hey!" Piper exclaimed, "We look nothing alike!"

"Actually," Annabeth said, "She does look and act a little bit like one."

Piper sighed, knowing not to fight with Annabeth. Leo explained to Jessica what an Aphrodite girl was, but said that she was probably a legacy. Seeing as her mom is mortal and so is her dad. Her dad is probably the child of Aphrodite, seeing as her dad was the one that bought her all her outfits.

"So, are we going or what?" She asked.

"Yeah, let's go. First I have to talk to my boss," Leo answered.

Leo walked downstairs and quit his job. After he got his last paycheck, he met the others outside. Liam was talking with the boys and Jessica was talking with the girls. They all smiled when they see him. He smirks and gives Jessica a hug.

"You're making me cold," He told her putting his arms around Jessica.

Jessica smirked and pulled Leo to the cab that they hailed. On the way Jessica and Leo talked, Leo told Jessica all of his adventures. She listened intently and laughed when he told the time that the Lost Hero trio ended up falling off of Festus.

"What do you mean you fought Cyclops alone?" Jessica asked looking worried.

"I fought three Cyclops alone," Leo confirmed.

After he finished the story of the war, they had gotten to the airport. They each bought tickets and boarded the plane. Jessica, Liam, and Leo sat next to each other. Jessica fell asleep on Leo, who chuckled seeing Percy's pale face. It then hit Leo why something seemed weird.

"Percy, where's Nico?" Leo asked turning to the Son of Poseidon.

Percy looked down, "He left around a few weeks after you did. Never came back. Jason told me that he has been planning it for a while."

"Oh, sorry."

"Its fine, I just wish he told me. Like a certain son of Hephaestus should have told us he was leaving."

Percy gave Leo a look, causing the Son of Hephaestus to blush.

"You guys would have tried to make me stay. Even going as far as to throwing me over their shoulder," Leo said giving a look to Jason.

Jason blushed, "Well… yeah I have no response to that."

Jessica stirred, and Leo shushed the others. Percy looked like he was going to be sick. The whole ride Percy wouldn't un-grip his hands from the armrest. Jessica stayed asleep the whole flight. She finally woke up when they landed. Leo chuckled when she woke up all disoriented and stuff.

"Where are we?" She asked looking around.

"Welcome to New York city," Leo answered, "It looks better outside."

"Whoa!" She exclaimed leaning over Leo to look outside.

From the airport you could see the Empire State Building. Jessica's blue green eyes were wide with curiosity. Leo chuckled and gently showed Jessica the exit. Once they got outside, Leo saw someone he knew very well.

"Nico?" he asked.

Said boy jumped and turned around. The demigods stopped and turned. Nico's dark eyes widened in shock and he tried to run, but Percy grabbed him. He struggled, but Percy's hands were tight and wouldn't let go. Tiana appeared in the crowd and, upon seeing Nico, walked up and slapped the son of Hades.

"Ow!" Nico exclaimed glaring at the daughter of Poseidon.

"Nico," Percy started, "Why did you leave?"

"Let me go."

"Fine, but don't run… or shadow travel."
Percy let go of Nico and he sighed.

"I left because I felt like I didn't belong," Nico started, "Felt like I was a freak."

Nico looked down and Percy pulled his cousin in a hug.

"You do belong, we looked for you," Percy told him.

Percy led the big group to the white van. Nico, Leo, Jessica, and Liam crawled in first. Percy, Annabeth, Tiana, Hazel, and Frank followed while Jason and Piper went up front. Nico sat in the darkest corner and Tiana sat down next to him. Percy sat on Nico's other side and Annabeth sat down next to him. Hazel and Frank sat on the other side of the van, near the front. Liam, Jessica, and Leo sat down in the middle area and talked.

"So, this is New York. It's a lot hotter than Alaska," Jessica noted taking of her sweater that her mom made her wear before they left.

"You're lucky your mom's not here sheila," Liam said, "Isn't that right Lance?"
"Remember, he has to go by Leo now," Annabeth reminded.

Leo groaned, "Don't remind me Annabeth. And yes, Jessica is lucky."

Jessica pouted, "Not my fault. Dad buy's all my outfits."

"She has a point."

Jason stopped the van and everyone piled out. Percy put a hand on Nico's shoulder. Nico shrugged it off and walked slightly behind everyone else. Leo put his arm around Jessica, who gasped at the sight of camp. Liam's mouth dropped open at the sight. Leo chuckled at both of them, but stopped when he saw Harley, his now ten year old younger brother.

"Oh gods, how's the other Hephaestus campers?" Leo asked turning to Jason who grimaced.

"After you left, they thought the curse returned. Have been sullen ever since," Jason replied.

"Oh."

Jessica squeezed Leo's hand and they tripped over a log. Rolling down the hill, everyone turned to them. Sitting up, Leo picked grass and leaves out of Jessica's brown hair. Harley ran over.

"Leo!" Harley exclaimed, "You're back!"

"Yeah, this is Jessica, my girlfriend. Jessica this is Harley, my little bro," Leo said ruffling Harleys brown hair. (A/N They have nothing about Harley's eye and hair color. I'm just making this up)

"Nyssa and Jake will be so happy to see you. Everyone refuses to become permanent head councilor because they never believed you died!"

"No one else became head councilor?"

Harley didn't answer, he pulled Leo up and ran around Camp Half-Blood pulling Leo back, shouting 'Leo's back!' Jessica ran after them, trying to catch up to them. Soon every camper came out of the cabins. Eventually Harley pulled him into the Hephaestus cabin.

"Leo's back!" Harley exclaimed pulling Leo inside.

"Harley, what are you…" Nyssa stopped seeing Leo and started at him like he's a ghost.

"Hi," Leo said hoping to avoid an awkward silence.

Nyssa walked up slowly, as though in a trance, and smacked Leo across the face. Leo knew he deserved that, but it didn't stop him from being upset.

"Okay, I know I deserved that. But did you have to hit me so hard?" Leo asked.

"Yes, what were you thinking?" Nyssa asked trying to control her temper.

"I…" Leo sighed, "Can we talk outside, I have someone I want you to meet."

Nyssa looked confused, but followed Leo outside. Jessica was waiting for them, breathing heavily. Leo grabbed her hand and Nyssa walked over.
"Nyssa this is Jessica, Jessica this is Nyssa," Leo introduced.

"Hi, I'm La… Leo's girlfriend," Jessica said shaking her hand.

"I'm Leo's older sister," Nyssa responded.

Let's just say, Jessica and Nyssa got along. Jessica followed Leo to where he was meeting the rest of the seven at the beach. They talked and had a great time. Leo no longer felt like a seventh wheel. He had Jessica now.

Me: Well, I wasn't planning to kill of Ambrosia… I was actually planning for Leo and her to get together, but Jessica was more fun. Despite the fact I made Ambrosia for Leo.

Leo: *manages to get gag off* I like Jessica.

Me: You haven't even met her yet. *Redoes the gag on his mouth*

Percy: She's got you there Leo.

Jason: *Tries to get gag off, but fails*

Percy: Are you ever going to untie them?

Me: No.

Jason: *Glares at me*

Leo: *falls over and knocks himself unconscious*

Me: That's not my fault.

Percy: Should we go?

Me: Yep.

Percy: Please review, let's go.

Me: Bye Jason, unconscious Leo.
