Chapter 9. Rebeca pov.

"Where is she?"

Lexi, Kim and I continued to move forward through the forest that lay around us, Eve and taking off into this place after she had bitten the Paul guy.

"Why did have to run in here and disappear like that? And with the guy as well." Kim groaned.

"Hey guys look! It's the grey wolf that we keep seeing!" Lexi pointed in front of us.

"We should go, we promised Eve we wouldn't cause any trouble with them."

A loud grow rumbled from the grey wolf as it jumped forward, looking under its legs I saw Eve fall backward into the bushes.

"It has Eve!" Kim shouted and went to run forward, I grabbed her arm and pulled her back. I shook my head as I saw Stripy (that's what we've named the wolf that keeps saving us) jumped through the tree line just where Eve had fallen.

"Wait what happened to Paul? The guy that was after Eve."

"I think the wolf ate him, look his clothes are in pieces just behind it."

"Holy shit, it did to! Oh my god thank god Stripy got here before that thing got Eve."

We watched as the two wolves fought each other, taking large hits and blows to their bodies, all of a sudden Strips took off running towards the other direction jumping over where Eve was probably hiding, the grey wolf followed.

"What just happened?"

"We should go find Eve, before they come back."

"She landed over there." I pointed to the spot where she had fallen.

We walked over, I pulled back some of the ferns back to see if she was there.

"Guys look, her clothes are all shredded as well."

"But the wolf couldn't have gotten eaten her, it was chasing after Stripes." Lexi looked confused.

"So if she wasn't eaten, why are her clothes all shredded up and where is she?"

"Should we go further in and look for her?" Kim started to step forward.

"No..." I grabbed her arm and pulled her back. "Eve said that we shouldn't follow her, we should go back to the car and wait for her, and if she doesn't show up in an hour then we go to the cops." They nodded and we headed back to the car which was still in the middle of the road. We moved the car so we sat on the side of the road.

"Do you think she is okay?" Kim looked worried.

"She's fine, she probably gone to one of her La Push friends to get new clothes, which is silly because we have clothes here, we brought tones while shopping." Lexi said.

"She probably didn't want us seeing her nude, remember she isn't the best with self-confidence about her body."

"But why would she go to a friends she just meet instead of us? We've known them longer."

"We aren't that from Jacob's house."

"But those two broke up yesterday remember? Why would she go there?"

"Well they were still pretty close, plus I'm sure everyone's house around here has a spare set of clothes for everyone else."

"Why say that?"

"Because I just have this feeling that there is something seriously wrong that their all keeping from us."

"Yeah we know, we've known that since Eve moved out here, like were always running those wolves, Stripes seems to know us somehow."

"Eve freaks out whenever she hears that we've been near the wolves, and then just then Paul mentioned something about his pack, what is going on around here?"

"Hey guys, I'm sorry that I run off like that."

"Where did you go?"

"To get some new clothes, my got shredded when those two wolves run over me."

"What happened to the Paul guy?" I asked.

"He saw those wolves and run for it, like a coward."

"Haha sounds like him, come on lets go I don't want to see another wolf today."

Eve Pov.

Once we got back to my house we relaxed outside until a loud howl was heard.

"There seems to be a lot of those howls going on lately, I wonder if the wolf pack is alright."

"Packs'…" I corrected then regrated it.

"How do you know there is two packs?"

"From what you've described to me it sounds like there is two and the one you've called Stripes, silly name by the way, and the grey one are probably from two the two different packs.

"Oh my god, maybe we were wrong about those two, maybe their secretly mated to each other and that's why their always fighting because one of them is more open to humans then the other." Kim said.

"EWW gross no, hell no, never going to happen, blaaaa bad images bad images, oh I think I'm gonna be sick." I put my hands on my head and shook the images of Paul and I secretly being mated out of it.

"What? Why is that gross?"

"Because firstly, they're from two different packs and trust me they fight because of the fact they're both trying to protect their pack."

"Let me guess you can tell that from what we've said too?"

"No its simple wolf logic, which wolf wants to protect its pack against threats from other wolf packs."

"Why do we always forget not to argue with the wolf girl over wolves?" Lexi asked.

"Who knows?" I laughed.

"Eve thank god you imprint on someone else because I am so close to kill Jacob, he's got me running almost every night doing patrol because he refuses to put you on and refused to do any himself because of Maddy." Leah stomped into the house and practically fell on the floor exhausted.

"Hey Leah, um hope you don't mind but Kim, Bec and Lexi are here and you know heard everything you just said."

"Oh fuck serious? I'm beginning to agree with Paul, they're everywhere, just tell them already it will save all of the pain."

"I'll be right back." I walked over to Leah and helped her up and walked her up stairs to her room.

"We'll be outside okay? You're right I have to tell them."

"Good luck, they won't be happy."

"I know, get some sleep I'll take your shift tonight."

"Best Daughter in the world."

"What are daughters for?" I laughed.

"Headaches and boy trouble."

"More like girl trouble." I laughed as I walked back down stairs.

"Hey girls, I have something to tell you and it's kind of important."

"Not now, hot boy and grumpy man having an argument." Rebeca pointed out the window, I looked out and Embery and Paul were nose to nose both shouting and shaking.

"I'm going to go stop those two from killing each other."

I ran outside and run into the middle of them.

"Hey, hey break up you two I don't need whose got the bigger dick fight on my back lawn right now, Paul why are you here?"

"Stay out of this newbie." Paul pushed me to the side, I landed on the ground and groaned.

"Hey what the hell!" Kim run out of my back door followed by Lexi and Rachel.

"Stay out of this you three, this is between me and her." Paul said, Embery then wrapped his arms around Paul to stop him from jumping on me to.

"Girls run!" I shouted as I rolled into standing up.

"What?" They looked at me confused.

"Run!" I repeated but they just stood there frozen.

"Shit." Embery yelled as Paul broke from his grasp.

"Embery get the girls out of here." I said keeping an eye on Paul as he shook.

"Got it." He ran over to the girls and then froze.

"Fucking shit seriously?" I growled as Paul exploded.

"Embery! Get the girls to Jacobs!" Embery snapped out of his daze from imprinting and pushed the girls towards their car.

"Did he just?... Is he the….? What are you doing you have to save Eve from Paul or whatever he is." Rebeca shouted.

"Eve can handle herself." Embery said.

I looked between my friend and the giant grey wolf who had just jumped towards me, I let out a sigh. I phased and meet him half way using his force to push him to the ground, I let out a loud howl warning there was trouble. Soon enough I could hear Jacob, Seth and Quil.

Eve whats going on? Quil asked.

Paul showed up at my house and I'm guessing Embery was on patrol and they started having an argument on my lawn, I told them to break it up and then my friends showed up and then Paul phased and my friend now know and I phased and now I really need to stop Paul before he kills me.

Well you could always order him to stop, I mean you are Sam's daughter meaning if you were in Sam's pack you would be second in command. Jacob said.

So what do I do just command him to stop?

Give it a shot, use the alpha voice. Seth said and Jacob agreed.

I link out minds.

Paul stop this right now.

Now Paul.

I felt his body stop moving and the two packs somewhere behind me.

Can you take care of this, I have my friends to deal with now.

Sure thing.

I walked to the back door and phased back, knowing that they were all looking away. I run into my room grabbed some clothes, tied them to my ankle and then left phasing and running towards Jacob's house, the whole way there I was blocking out everyone else. Once I arrived and phased, putting my clothes on and running inside to hearing my friends shouting.

"What the hell are you people on? You just left our best friend to be killed by a fucking werewolf!"

"Technically we're shape-shifters, we aren't under control of the moons. We can shift willingly or as you saw, when you piss one off." I walked into the tiny living room that was overcrowded.

"How the fuck are you alive? That thing shredded your entire body."

"That thing was actually me."

"Wait your Stripes?"

"Out of all the names you could have picked you picked Stripes? That's worse than Spot."

"Wait prove it."

"Let's head out side for that."

We walked outside and I started walking towards the forest.

"Where are you going?"

"I need to change to shift."

"Oh no we're watching all of it."

They followed me in and I sighed, I turned my back to them and started taking my clothes off.

"What are you doing put? Your clothes back on."

"Just don't look lower than my back."

Once I was full unclothed I slowly turned to face them and started phasing. They jumped back as I jumped forward into the phase.

"Holy shit, our best friends a werewolf. Our best friends a fucking werewolf."

"Hey you bitch you're the wolf that put a dint in my car!" Kim punched my leg and then realised how tall I actually was.

"Holy shit its taller than I am and it's on all fours."

"No fucking wonder you're now so tall."

"So wait every time we've been attacked by that Paul guy, the grey wolf. You're the one who has been saving us? That was all you, that's why you were always so worried about us getting too close to the wolves because you didn't want us to get hurt or find out."

I nodded my head before turning and going to phase back.

"So now you know, and that's why Kim and Josh were so okay with me leaving to go see Jacob and stuff because it was normally for pack stuff, there is two packs in La Push. There's Jacob's and Sam's pack, I'm apart of Jacobs's."

"So now that we have that settled, you dinted my car!"

"Boo-hoo get it fixed."

"That cost like $500."

"Well then go to the Cullen's, I know someone who will do it for free."

"Alright."

"I'll meet you there."

"Where you going?"

"I'll be meeting you there, I'm running driving is so slow for me, cya's."

I turned and before they could argue I run into the forest and phased.
