Alright hey guys, it's a short chapter but it really just a further over view of Alex's background, I promise that next chapter will be longer, with a few more drama's and events in it. Enjoy and thanks for being so patience with me. :P

Chapter 11.

Arriving at the Cullens house Alex waited for me as I phased back and then we both when inside, all of the Cullens besides Luke and Maddy were waiting for us in the TV room.

"Alex it is nice to see you are well." Carlisle was the first to speak, he stepped forward and offered his hand, which Alex shook politely.

"Thank you Doctor Cullen, for looking after me after I was attacked by a wolf."

Edwards head whipped around to look at me. I could tell he was asking why I hadn't told her yet.

I want to give her a little time to adjust to the idea of werewolves before telling her that my packs alpha tried to kill her. I think we should ask her more about the Volti though, she what she can tell us.

He nodded his head before giving small signal to Carlisle.

"So why brings you into the area?"

"My mum came from forks but she went on a holiday to Italy a few years back and meet my dad. They went on a few dates while she was there and she then decided that she was going to move to Italy so she did, she moved in with my dad. A few months later she had me and died after I was born, my father said it wasn't my fault, she wasn't strong enough to conceive an infant of my size." Alex explained, I looked towards Edward and he had a puzzled look on his face.

Edward what are you seeing?

He slightly shook his head.

"So what brought you back?"

"My father it turns out didn't have very much respect for my mother and used her so that he and his real family could an immortal children that were only half vampire and half human so that they could control them and raise them to be reusable bait for starving vampire who had broken the law and withholding information, they would be caught and left to starve them until they were on the point of insanity. They would put us in front them and bribe them that if they told them what they wanted they could have me, because im half human they could smell my blood but because im also half vampire if the prisoner broke free from their registrants and bit one of us it would only take seconds for them to be recaptured and there would be no loose of bait. When my abilities started to show they decided that I would train to become a spy from them, act as a human that happened to be in the wrong place at the wrong time." Looking closer at her neck I could make out the faint scar markings.

"So you came here to escape thinking that they wouldn't be able to follow you here." Edward stated.

"Yes, and also to connect with my mother's family, they know of me but they have never seen me in person, they have only ever seen one baby photo of me I believe."

I looked at Edward and he nodded.

"Well you are welcome to come around anytime, our doors are always open." Esme said.

"Thank you, but what about those wolves?"

"They can't hurt you, the one you meet who tried to kill you was Jacob. My old mate, he only tried to attack you because of bond broke and it drove him semi insane for a short period of time."

"Wait what happened between you and him that broke your bond?"

"I meet someone else." I smiled at her, I saw a small blush creeping into her cheeks.

"What happened to him?" She asked as he walked in with Maddy in his arms and Luke.

"He found someone else, he just has to wait a little while." I smiled.

"Hey Maddy, can I have a hug?" I asked, she squealed and started squirming in Jacob's arms.

"Okay, okay here you go Eve." I laughed and I pulled Maddy into my arms and placed her on my hip.

"Did you have a good run with Jacob?"

"Yes, he look us over the river and then around to uncle Billy's house!"

"That sounds like fun, did Uncle Billy spoil you?" She nodded her head.

"I have someone for you to meet. Maddy this is my friend Alex, Alex this is Maddy Edward and Bella's adopted child, along with her brother Luke." Maddy hid behind my hair.

"Hello Maddy, it's a pleasure to meet you and your brother Luke." Alex smiled. I handed Maddy to Edward.

"Okay back to the serious stuff, you're telling us that the Voltri are trying to create a half family half human army to lure out other vampires, basically they could do whatever they please and no human blood would ever be spilt preventing the media and the human world from find dead bodies and stuff?"

"Pretty much."

"Meaning that they could possibly force people like Alice and Edward to join them." Bella stated.

"Let's just hope they won't come our way."

"I doubt it will happen anytime soon, right now their chasing down a gang of vampires trying get a huge army together to overrun then them. To be honest I hope they do, I run into some of them on the way here and they were extremely nice and offered me protection if I were ever to need it."

"We should keep an eye out for this gang, they may cause more harm than good." Carlisle said.

"Eve why don't you take Alex home, Seth and the boys have patrol all sorted out so you can just go relax." Jacob said, I looked at Alex and she shrugged her shoulders.

"Why not, my Grandparents are probably wondering where I am."

"Do they know?"

"Naa they just think they I enjoy being outside a lot."

"Alright lets go."
