A/N: Well, here it is guys, the final chapter.

Christmas day came around far too fast, and when Riku woke up and saw that it was only seven he gladly lay back down and fell back asleep. It was then when he A; noticed that Sora was missing, and B; noticed it was far too quiet.

He didn't get much time to cover himself when he heard the door thrown open, his body jolting and moving to try and move but it was too late and all of sudden there was a huge weight on him that knocked all the air out of him.

"RIKUUUU!~ GET UP, IT'S CHRISTMAS!" A shrill voice in his ear sounded, making the Silverette wince and try to cover his head with his pillow, making incoherent noises into the mattress; to make matters worse Sora decided to bounce as he sat on him, pushing him into the mattress.

"Riku! Riku! Riku! Riku! Get up!" Sora chanted, "Get up, get up!" he yelled continuing with his antics till finally Riku had, had enough and none to gently pushed the Brunette off of him all while yelling back, "All right! I'm up! I'm up!"

Giggling madly Sora climbed off the bed and watched eagerly as Riku got out of bed, grabbing his wrist and dragging the Silverette out of their bedroom before Riku had a chance to properly pull on his dressing gown; As he was dragged into the lounge Riku noticed that breakfast wall all set out and looking delicious, the Silverette pushed down into his seat not a second later.

"What's this?" Riku asked with wide eyes, looking over the breakfast that Sora had probably made; there was salmon and French toast, and strawberries, and white wine, and other smaller chocolates.

"Food, obviously" Sora replied cheekily as he sat down across from Riku, immediately tucking in and grabbing some salmon and French toast to put on his plate "It's food, 'Ku, eat it" he added, laughing when Riku sighed and rolled his eyes at his boyfriend.

"Did you make it?" Riku asked as he picked up some French toast and took a large sip of his wine "I mean, I thought you couldn't cook" he teased and raised an eyebrow, delicately starting to each his French toast; it was really good, and Riku quickly cut up another piece and placed it in his mouth.

"Rude!" Sora laughed and mimed throwing food at the Silverette, in other circumstances he would but this food was too good to waste on a food fight, "Nah, Roxas came over yesterday when you were out shopping and helped me cook" he explained; at least he had helped cook! That was better than not cooking at all, and he wanted to make this Christmas special seeing as it was his first with Riku.

Riku paused with his fork halfway to his mouth "Roxas was here?" he questioned and once again tried to remember once again what Sora's twin looked like "And you didn't tell me? I've been wanting to meet your twin for ages, Sora" he said, a little angrily, but didn't mind to much; he would get to meet Roxas one day, hopefully.

"And I keep telling you that, that's a really bad idea" Sora shrugged back but smiled his own secretive smile "Just wait, you'll get to meet Roxas soon, and trust me when I say that when you do meet him, you'll wish you never had" to be honest his twin really was that bad, Sora's last boyfriend had broken up with him because he couldn't handle Roxas; but Sora knew that Riku would be able to handle it, he hoped.

"Fine, fine" Riku replied and waved his fork in Sora's direction, by now he had eaten three pieces of French toast and was full, pushing his plate away from himself and pulling his wine towards him. That was when the tree caught his gaze, and he noticed that there were a lot more presents under the tree that he had seen last night "Did you get some more presents?" he asked Sora, nodding over the brunette's shoulder so he would know what Riku meant.

"What?" Sora said back and furrowed his eyebrows as he turned in his chair, eyes landing on the new presents under the tree, "Ya know- I don't remember that there were that many last night before I went to bed" tapping his chin Sora tried desperately to remember if he had placed them there. But if he hadn't and Riku hadn't, then that must mean- "Roxas" the brunette sighed and shook his head "Roxas must have put them there, he knew that I was planning to stay here for Christmas instead of going around to his"

Riku looked between Sora and the tree, noticing the way that the Brunette was shaking and staring absently at the presents "Do you want to open them now?" he finally asked, his mouth curving into a easy smirk.

Sora whipped around like he had been shocked and looked up with a innocent expression "Maybe~" he said and fiddled with the table cloth.

Riku sighed but smiled, honestly Sora was like a kid sometime "Go on then" he urged and slowly started to get up, knowing that Sora would get there way before him.

The effect was instantaneous and Sora jumped up from his seat, running over to the tree and throwing himself down on the ground before gabbing the nearest present for him. Riku took his time just to annoy Sora and walked as slowly as he could over to the tree, sitting down beside his boyfriend with their knees touching "Open it" he encouraged when Sora shot him a pleading look, and chuckled when Sora started tearing into it.

"It's a-" Sora paused and cocked his head as he pulled out the long sky blue scarf, the exact same colour of his eyes "Scarf?" he finished, turning to Riku he asked "Did you make this, Ku? I didn't know you could knit!"

Riku chuckled and leaned in to kiss Sora on the forehead "Yes, I can knit, and if you tell anyone I will ruin your life" he joked "But Merry Christmas"

They took turns in opening presents. Sora got Riku the new acoustic guitar he wanted, and Riku got Sora the long board he wanted; the other presents were all small comparisons that still meant a lot, for Riku it was the mix tape that Sora made expecially for him, some silver studs, a new camera, and a skateboard so he could learn how to skate.

For Sora it was the new football, some scented bath jells, a handmade way finder from Sora's favourite game that Riku had also made one for himself, some new Xbox games that they could both play, and the full season set of F.R.I.E.N.D.S.

But the last thing was the one that really shocked Sora, it was a cheque for 50k; and when the brunette looked up and started protesting Riku quickly shut him up with a kiss and said, "It's for your Veterinary course, and I don't want to hear you protesting because I already put the money in your account"

"Ku' you shouldn't have, I can't accept thi-"Sora started, going to hand it back, but was quickly stopped when Riku placed a finger against his lips.

"Didn't I just say I didn't want to hear you protesting, you helped me follow my dreams Sora, so now you can follow yours" Riku said cheesily and kissed Sora again, efficiently shutting him up; and the Silverette didn't hear a word about it again.

The two were just about to sit down for hot chocolate and cookies when the doorbell rang, pursing his lips Sora shot Riku a look to stay where he was and put his hot chocolate down; "Coming!" he called as he got up off the couch and walked over towards the door, peering through the peep hole and groaning.

"Who is it?" he heard Riku ask but Sora didn't answer as he put on a fake smile and opened the door-

"Roxas! I didn't know you were coming over"

Roxas peered up from under his bangs and gave Sora a easy smile "Yeah, it was weird not having Christmas with my twin" he replied, stepping into the apartment, eyes sweeping around the apartment and landing on Riku before shooting back to Sora "So I decided to come over with Axel"

"Axel?" Riku immediately perked up, and when the redhead walked through the door the Silverette got up from the couch and hurriedly walked over, enveloping Axel in a tight bro-hug.

"Riku!" Axel exclaimed and grinned, thumping the Silverette on the back, "Why didn't you tell me you were with Roxas's twin, we could have done this much sooner" he said and smirked over at Roxas when they broke apart.

However Roxas and Sora were staring at the two dumbfounded, but Roxas was the first to speak "You two know each other?" he asked, his darker blue eyes narrowing as he looked between the two taller men.

"Yeah" Axel replied and grinned over at Riku who smirked back and playfully punched at the redhead, "We've known each other since High school, and been best mates ever since"

"And you didn't think to tell me this? At all?" Roxas shot back and nudged Sora who broke out of it and settled with glaring up at Riku, who stepped back a little and held his hands up in front of himself for protection.

"Yeah 'ku!" Sora said, adding his two cents; he didn't mind as much as Roxas obviously did.

"It never came up" Riku shrugged and stepped past Sora and his brother towards the kitchen, "Do you want a beer?" he called over his shoulder.

"Sure!" Axel called back and followed Riku into the kitchen, leaving Sora and Roxas by the doorway; the twins sighed and rolled their eyes at each other "Men" they both muttered, and smiled.

Roxas and Sora moved to the couch, Riku and Axel quickly joining them and sitting by their respective partner to cuddle; Riku smirking when Roxas cuddled into the redhead's chest, and Axel smirking when Sora leant down to rest his head in Riku's lap.

The two couples spent the rest of the day drinking eggnog and opening more presents, Roxas gave Sora a set of CD's from his favourite artists, Axel gave Riku and Sora some priced Brandy, and the present that Sora was going to give Roxas when he saw him next turned out to be a pair of woollen blue earmuffs and a bottle of something that was quickly whipped out of sight.

"So, Riku-" Roxas started after they had sat back down on the couch, and as soon as Roxas spoke Axel shot a knowing look at Sora; the brunette sighing before cutting in.

"Roxas, can you not for once in your life?" Sora said as politely as he could, even though he didn't feel like being polite, "It's Christmas, leave him alone"

"Thanks baby" Riku whispered in Sora's ear, and the brunette turned his head slightly to give the silverette a quick kiss before turning back to engage a conversation with Axel.

At dinner time the four sat down at the table to eat, once again it was food prepared by Sora and Roxas, Axel tucking in as soon as the food hit the table; ignoring the glare from Roxas.

"So" Sora started "How's the tattoo shop going, Axel?" he asked, genuinely interested, it must be hard running one of the most famous tattoo pallor's in town.

"Really good!" Axel said through a mouthful of potato, "We just signed a major contract to get a build board up in town, and we were offered a chance to work with a modelling company and draw fake tattoos on them" he explained excitement seeping into his tone.

"Oh, awesome! I think Riku's been thinking about getting a tattoo, so I'll send him to you-"Sora teased and shot a look over at Riku, who choked on the sip of wine he had just taken and proceeded to cough.

"Wha- what!?" he spluttered and looked nervously between the two tattoo artists "uh- I think I'm alright" he said honestly, he did want a tattoo but was too afraid of the pain; not that he would tell.

"Aw, come on Riri" Axel teased and smirked at the silverette, who bristled back and glared at the redhead "It doesn't hurt that bad, or is Mr. perfect too scared?" he asked, quirking an eyebrow and leaning his head against his palm; Riku turned slightly pink but coughed and quickly covered it up.

"Shut up, Firecrotch" Riku replied back snarkily "Or should I tell Roxas about what happened with the school pool in year twelve?" this time it was Axel's turn to turn red, and he muttered something under his breath.

"A pool?-"Roxas echoed and looked expectantly over at Axel, who shook his head and said nothing.

Later at night Roxas had stopped Axel from lighting the apartment on fire, the blonde then getting really drunk of the brandy that they had initially given Riku and curled up with Axel on the couch to watch cartoons and drunkenly ramble on and on about nothing; Axel nodding and agreeing while running his hand through the blonde's hair with his own eyes trained on the screen.

Sora however was outside on his balcony drinking some re-heated hot chocolate when Riku joined him, the two standing against the railings in silence and staring up at the sky; it was cold out here and the only relatively warm thing he was wearing was the scarf Riku had made him, the silverette then sighing and shrugging out of his jersey to drape over Sora's shoulders.

"Hey" he whispered quietly and kissed Sora on the forehead, "Merry Christmas"

"Merry Christmas" Sora replied back happily and grabbed Riku's hand, the two falling silent again as they leaned against each other and stared up at the sky "Ya know-" Sora started "This wasn't how I expected this year to go"

"How did you expect it to go?" Riku asked, curious, and looked down to try and meet Sora's eye but the brunette was too busy staring at the stars.

"I dunno, I expected it to pass without anything exciting happening ya know" Sora stopped to shrug and smile to himself, "I'd continue with my horrible job, Roxas would continue trying to set me up with random guys, and it would be boring as usual" turning his head Sora grinned and looked up at Riku, "But then I met you"

Riku smiled back down at him and squeezed his hand, "And then you met me" he echoed, those words made his heart swell and his whole body tingle and he felt so happy he could sing; "I thought my life was going to be boring too" he shared, smirking at Sora's wide eyes "I would be forced to take over the company, and mum would continue setting me up with girls, but I suppose the world was sick of my crap and I met you"

"It has been a crazy year" Sora laughed and turned to hug Riku, wrapping his arms around the silverettes torso and squeezing, smiling even though Riku couldn't see him "But I'm glad"

"Yeah" Riku laughed and hugged Sora back, placing gentle kisses on the brunette's head "Did we just step out of a sixties movies? Because that was really sappy" he said and then laughed when Sora audibly groaned and thumped him.

"Moment ruin-er" Sora tried his hardest not to laugh as he pursed his lips, but failed horrible and ended up laughing so hard he snorted "Love you Riku" he giggled.

"Love you too, Sora" Riku chuckled back "And-" he started saying, placing his hands on Sora's shoulders and pushing him back lightly so he could the Brunette in the eye before reaching into his pocket and pulling out a small black box "I have something for you"

"What is it?" Sora asked with wide eyes as he watched Riku open the box, it was a ring! A silver band with a single blue stone, the same colour as the brunette's eyes, set right in the middle "A ring!?" he gasped "But Riku, I've only known you a year"

"Calm down" Riku laughed and bent down to place a gentle kiss on Sora's lips, "I'm not proposing, it's a promise ring, to show that I'll stay with you forever no matter what"

"R-riku" Sora whispered and to Riku's amazement tears started to pour out of the brunette's eyes, "Riku!" he said again and jumped on the silverette; wrapping his arms around Riku's torso far too tightly and sobbing into his shirt "I can't believe you! I can't handle how much I love you right now!"

"Shh" Riku whispered back and bent down to place kisses on Sora's head again, grabbing one of the brunette's arms Riku brought it out to the side so that Sora could see everything and slowly slid the ring onto the brunette's ring finger "I love you" he whispered and kissed the ring before tilting Sora's head and kissing him passionately, trying to push all his love and emotion into one kiss.

"I l-ove you" Sora sobbed once they broke apart, jumping back up and wrapping his arms around Riku's neck "I love you so much, I can't say how much, I love you, I love you, I love you, I love you, I love you" he repeated and repeated until the silverette had to kiss him to shut him up.

And as they stood there embracing each other, Sora's ring glittering on his finger, large rings of color exploded into the air; making the two jump and bang foreheads, giggling like teenagers as they clung to each other.

The end.

So, even I think that the ending is a bit rushed, and I apologize for that. I've been furiously writing the final chapter for the last two days and I'm really proud of the final product. This was also meant to come out on the first of December, I don't know why, but I didn't meet my own deadline.

Please, REVIEW, REVIEW, REVIEW And once again I'd just like to say thank you so much to all the people who stuck with this story and continued to read even with the prolonged chapter updates, this was my first attempt at Soriku and I think it went well. So THANK YOU everyone :)
