As soon as Elphaba's body hit the grown, both her, and the scarecrow, disappeared.

It was all an illusion. Or at least, that's what the Doctor thought. The Winchester brothers on the other hand, had their own ideas, and Sherlock just tried applying logic to it as he always did. And pretty soon, everyone was arguing about what they saw.

There an evil cackle in the dark woods, and pretty soon, Loki stood in their midst with an evil grin, disappearing as soon as he appeared.

"What's going on?" Sherlock demanded, along with a lot of other bickering voices.

"QUIET ALL OF YOU!" The Doctor shouted above them. "Don't you see? This is what he wants! He's making us turn against each other! We have to stick together. Obviously Elphaba and Fieyaro were projections, and Loki could have been using a transporting device, we don't know what kind of power they have on Asgard. So the only thing we can do, is keep a clear head and stick together."

"Doctor," River piped up, tilting her head slightly. "If that was a projection, could it possibly be of something that was happening in current time?" She acquired.

The Doctor shrugged. "It could be, or Loki could have been tampering our thoughts. River, what was the first thing you thought of when Sam said, 'A green woman and scarecrow like figure'?"

River stuttered a moment, looking at him, her eyes going slightly wider. "I thought about Elphaba and Fieyaro."

The Doctor nodded, "See?"

River hummed in understanding. "Which reminds me, we must visit them sometime, we haven't seen them since Oz."

The Doctor nodded in agreement, when Clara interrupted them. "Doctor, What if that was an actual projection of Alfeeba-"

"Elphaba," Everyone corrected her.

Clara nodded, "Right, Elphaba. What if it really was her? What if she's really in danger?"

Sherlock examined everything for a moment. "Could be, or it could be that Loki wants us to think she's in danger. It could be a trap." He looked over at the Doctor, "We can't be too sure."

Everyone was looking at the Doctor, and he looked down at the grass, then back up again. "Well, the only way we can insure her safety, and avoid a trap, is to find Loki, and I can guarantee you he's not here."

"But the dead person-" Sam protested.

"And not to mention he was here a second ago." Dean pointed out.

"Alternate dimensions, trust me, I've dealt with this kind of thing before." The Doctor pointed out. "He has some sort of portal through worlds. What we saw a second ago, was a projection." "So where exactly is Loki?" Irene questioned. The Doctor smirked, looking up at the sky, where the sun had gone down a little. "There is a fifth dimension beyond that which is known to man. It is a dimension as vast as space and as timeless as infinity. It is the middle ground between light and shadow, between science and superstition, and it lies between the pit of man's fears and the summit of his knowledge. This is the dimension of imagination. It is an area which we call 'The Twilight Zone' "

Everyone stared at him, eyes wide, wondering if there was truth to his word. Except River, who just sat there with her arms folded and a smirk on her face. She was half expecting this.

"Do you mean to tell me the Twilight zone exists?" Clara squeaked.

"If you were to cover up a place like that, what would you do?" Sherlock questioned himself. "You'd write a book about it, a TV show maybe, no one would believe you if you tried to explain anything, they'd think you were going crazy." Sherlock mused, and the Doctor nodded.

"And that's exactly what they did." The Doctor insured them. "Around 1956, a strange amount of people seemed to go crazy, some even died of insanity. One woman said a hitchhiker kept following her. Another, said that a parallel version of herself was trying to take over her life. And a man fell out of a window after getting addicted to a slot machine, and claimed it was calling his name. They were all victims of the Twilight Zone."

Clara shrugged, "Well it does sound a bit mad, doesn't it? What if those people were actually just mad to begin with?"

The Doctor shook his head. "They all had the steadiest head on their shoulders. In fact, they weren't superstitious at all. That's what the Twilight Zone does, it targets the strongest people, and shows them how weak they truly are."

Cas looked lost for a moment, "So why is Loki there? Wouldn't the Twilight Zone make him feel weak as well?"

"And how would he get from world to world?" John questioned.

The Doctor shook his head, "The Twilight Zone has many portals to Earth. How else would human's start going crazy? Pay attention John." The Doctor said, patting John's head.

"Loki's never truly been 'sane' what's in the Twilight Zone isn't new to him."

"So are we actually going there?" Irene asked.

The Doctor shook his head. "No, only a few of us. If even one of us goes crazy in the Twilight Zone, the others can find them, and I'd rather not have a search party looking for everyone, because everyone will go insane. It will show you what you want to see and hear, so no one who is emotionally attached to this mission can go."

"I'll go." Sherlock stated, stepping forward with boldness, "We all know I have no emotional attachment to anything." In which Irene and John looked very offended by.

Dean and Sam stepped up, "We will too," Sam added, and Dean smirked. "Hunting monsters all day, this Twilight Zone sounds like a piece of pie."

"You mean Cake?" Clara questioned. Dean shook his head vigorously, "No, I definitely meant pie." Cas rolled his eyes, stepping forward as well, "I'm going too, I'm their angel after all, I have to look out for them." The Doctor shook his head. "No, You're to emotionally involved with the boys, I'm sorry Cas." And of course everyone else wanted to go, but the Doctor said no.

"River, Clara, Irene, John, Cas, You will all stay in the TARDIS. Got it?! No one steps outside of those doors once we reach the Twilight Zone. But River shook her head defiantly. "No, Doctor, I'm going with you, cause lord knows I'm not letting you leave without me." She said, headed towards the TARDIS doors, When the Doctor grabbed her wrist. "No, you're not." He stated, tightening his grip. She glared at him. "I am not a child! I'm going!" She huffed, trying to get free of his grasp. "I AM NOT LOSING YOU AGAIN!" The Doctor shouted, and everyone stared at them, birds flew from their trees it was so loud.

There was a moment of silence, River just stared into his eyes. Slightly with anger, and a little more with surprise. She was used to him yelling at her though. All those times he had asked her who she was and got frustrated. But it was never as bad as this.

"I'm going." She stated firmly, and walked into the TARDIS.
