28 April Year of Our Lord 1190

Theodosia, I am coming. I may arrive even before this note. I will bring the book of hours with me, all my love and healing arts, and the good wishes of my father who, God be praised, is getting better every day. It was he who urged me to make the journey. He is much more agile and growing stronger.

My dear heart, hold fast. Marian is coming.
