The door swung open as Leon rushed in the doorway swinging his gun sight about, switching the gun light off as the room was sufficiently lit "Marvin... " he called out, but the officer it seemed had moved since the last time they'd met and there was no sign of him anywhere "Shit" stepping further in he froze feeling the cold nose of a 9mil press into his temple "Don't move" the voice said "Kind of a prerequisite don't you think?" Leon asked with obvious sarcasm, he peered right toward an office window, reflecting the silhouette of a woman "Who are you?" she asked "Name's Leon Kennedy" he answered; the woman remained silent for a moment before lowering her gun "Oh, you're that new cop everybody's been talking about" - "Now you know who I am, who are you?" "Ada, Ada Wong" - "And what are you doing here?"

"I'm looking for someone, who might have information about a researcher from Umbrella... I got a tip off he may be somewhere in this station" - "The way survivors just keep popping up, he's probably in here somewhere. I'd be happy to assist, if you want to lower the gun" his words were ignored entirely "I don't know about any others, but I need to find him. It's important" Ada said lowering her gun arm and placing it back in the holster, judging by the model, she was likely well trained in special and/or discontinued arms.

Her hand gently letting go of the compact grip, the mysterious woman had him in awe, observing the Springfield XD-9, he was impressed though more so at her beauty. She was wearing a red dress with a small split down the side revealing her dark leggings underneath, and black all purpose flats. The waist looked specially designed so her gun strap could fit comfortably around it and her shoulders, she was on a mission. It was clear that she hadn't planned to stay long, and wanted to move about quietly and easily. Who was this woman running around by herself amidst these monsters and zombies?

"It's too dangerous to just keep wandering around this place, those things are everywhere" - "I got in here by myself, and I can get out of here by myself, thanks, but I don't need your help" Ada replied looking at a spurned Leon having his offer refused "Look if you wanna go your own way fine, but as a police officer it's my duty to protect you and keep you alive. Maybe you should come with me" Leon suggested "You want to find your friends? You'll need this" she slipped card key from her pocket and gave it to him "Get out while you have the chance Leon... who knows maybe we'll see each other again" Ada continued before turning to leave "Wait, hey Ada wait" Leon ordered as he went after her grabbing her arm, she quickly twisted out of it and threw a palm into his chest forcing him to the floor; with that woman in red quickly vanished "Ada!" Leon snapped but she was already gone "Damn it, why does no-one listen to me?" getting up he pulled his radio out again

"Kevin, Claire does anybody read me come in over" his radio bleeped in response

[I read you loud and clear Leon] Claire answered

"So you're still among the living"

[Just about Look, there might be a way out can you meet us downstairs?]

"Where are you?"

[The rear exit of the parking lot]

"I'll be there! What's the plan?"

[There's a tram station not far from here, another evac crew waiting at the city limits in 3 hours; checking for any more survivors but we'll only have a ten minute window. There may be a tram still stationed, we can use the tram to get there]

"Sounds good to me"

[Hope so] Claire said.

She was standing by the exit shutters while the others were still thinking what to do "But we need you to do something"

[No surprises there. Hit me with it]

Claire gave control of the radio over to Kevin

"Yeah, listen. We're locked down tight here and there's no power. We're gonna make a run for the power room, to restart the back up generator and restore power temporarily. By then, you should be able to operate the shutters from the main terminal in the lobby; switch the system back on and we're home free"

Sounds easy

[One last thing, we got another player, Ada. She's dangerous, if you see her, just stay out of the way]

"Understood. Good Luck Leon"

[Thanks]

"Over and out" with that once again radio silence resumed

"Now we wait" Kevin thought, he and the Redfield girl passing glances. Mark stood by one of the supporting pillars leaning against a squad car trying to keep his cough to a minimum "You okay?" Kevin asked "Yeah i'm fine. It's just humid down here" Kevin agreed with the notion as he looked around the lot confused at the unusual amount of heat. Grahams began pacing the parking lot lobby in an anxious state "I don't how much more of this I can take, I'm just a civilian this shit is really getting to me" - "We'll be out of here soon, just sit tight" Kevin said "I don't want to sit tight, we've been wandering around this god forsaken police station for hours, all we've done is sit tight" Grahams snapped "Look we've made a plan of action, we've still got to get there, and not all of us have the ammo to ration. We're still gonna need to wait for Leons signal, he's alone, and for all we know he may not even make it. It's a tense situation for all of us, so I'm asking you to pull it together a little while longer, alright?" Kevin said, his eyes staring into Grahams, placing a hand over one shoulder as a gentle warning, the white coat said nothing taking a deep breathe before wandering off. Mark leaned against one of the squad cars, unusable and stuck mid-service before the police were all sent to fill blockades. His eye caught something. imagining it surely, a strange silhouette stood out from the rest of the dark shadows. He thought he could hear something; almost like someone was whispering, calling to him, trying to remain rational and logical amidst all the irrational, illogical shit tonight.

Somewhere else, in another area of the police station two shapes stood in an isolated section bodies tense and cautious, as if they were trying not to be detected. The Umbrella soldiers from before, they appeared to be wearing the same uniforms similar to the ones Claire had encountered "It's here, biological entity is present and in action. Requesting for an emergency response team, code black-out" one soldier said urging his words into the headset of his helmet

[Status changed to black-out, confirm request code] a feminine voice replied formal and strict

"Delta-Foxtrot-113397" the soldier had answered waiting for a reply

[Confirmed. Dispatching team now, Standby]

The soldier released grip of his headset and looked at his comrade, who was pressing various buttons, entering various commands into the strange high-tech device they were holding "We better raise positions, secure the door I'll take watch" the lead soldier spoke to his companion through his helmet, the green neon glow from his goggles glaring readily through the pitch black of the hall way "Yes Sir" his comrade answered as the other left swiftly. Something swayed silently through the darkness watching the soldier stand by the door, hearing something he spun around, gazing down the lengthy sight of his Mossberg 590. The beam from the custom light catching dust spores, as it broke through the darkness, but there was nothing there, the soldier was imagining things.

A smoking cigarette charred away quietly before the ash was dropped off into a sparkling silver ashtray before Alexis took another deep inhalation of nicotine. He was looking over numerous files and invoices, expense reports, administration documents, staffing schedules and so on, all boring. Being a desk sitter was the most boring part of his job, the Exec preferred being on the front lines, albeit behind the scenes, but he was happier when HQ let him take the wheel and pulling the strings. Working in the lab and proposing efficient methods of B.O.W production before sending them out on the field, is where he was at his best, and enjoyed it to an unhealthy extent. Flipping through data sheets, calculating yearly budgets and signing for parasol training (the human infantry in Umbrellas private military) did not favor well with him. "Any updates on Barracuda Company?" he asked his personal assistant who was standing gratefully by his side. Alexis sat comfortably in his executive suite slowly spinning in the expensive looking office chair as he dropped more ash in the even more expensive looking silver tray. A man of finer things, and ego to match. Sitting on the sturdy looking desk, while his assistant began flicking through pages on a clipboard "Barracuda suffered heavy losses in an earlier attack on the precinct by an unknown, the S.T.A.R.S officer - A, Rebecca Chambers is still alive and from recent information, she ran into another survivor, another police officer, one...Elaine Benson though further details are unknown she's since, slipped off radar. One patrol chopper suffered damage, three fatalities due to the area not being properly secured; two parasols from Delta company, one of whom requested a response team five minutes ago" the assistant slightly hot under the collar answered looking back up "And the status of NEMESIS" he inquired further

"Although NEMESIS suffered rather substantial damage to its motor system and weapons, it seems to have recovered. Its regenerative capabilities have expedited and recovery process has allowed it to update its memory bank which is bad news for Barracuda Company"

"Updated?" Alexis asked "His programming was scrambled. NEMESIS lust for S.T.A.R.S has not dissipated, instead now it's set system directives to pretty much killing anyone in direct sight, however..." they were interrupted by a buzz through the desks telecom system with a message from his secretary [Mr. Ford, the fax reports sent to Mr. A.W have been reviewed, he has requested that you speak with him as soon as possible]

"Thank you Anna" he nodded for his assistant to finish "However this also means because of his ability to adapt, the internal cell tissue has fortified making it unlikely he'll suffer damage from a repeat attack. The thing adapts fast" pleased, Alexis did not show it on his face as he continued to look at more reports "I want you to go back to Raccoon City, Lucas"

"The city sir..."

"Take an additional team, head down to the armory, they'll authorize whatever you need. And take an Agent with you in case you run into any trouble" he continued calmly "Right away, sir" Lucas answered, a hint of apprehension in his voice, quickly dismissing himself from the office. Alexis chair gently placed the pile of papers on the desk and, pressing a small switch on the desk activated a set of HD screens which opened up in the wall facing opposite; each of the four screens monitored varied news reports in and outside of Raccoon City.

A single shadow lurked in the darkness of Raccoon City accompanied by the dim street lights, gradually more shadows began to tag along scraping there decayed feet across the roads and staggering through the streets; murmuring and foot scraping was the only noise in town. The clock tower chimed as the fingers hit 2 in the A.M zone, the zombies slowly came through, gathering in numbers, all staggering and stumbling around heading for the only human refuge left - the police station. Fences and makeshift barricades were pushed over as the lame-brained creatures continued through the square on their way to the entrance gates.

The U.B.C.S chopper hovered overhead of the police station; several ropes were thrown out before a dozen shapes ziplined down and hit the ground in formation "Move, move" a voice barked through random automatic rifle fire, as other soldiers quickly eradicated the viral pest, keeping the area clear. The soldier from previous stood waiting near the fire exit doors signalling their approach "Oliviera" the troops leader spoke "This is the real shit people. G14 traces are going crazy on the readers this thing is definitely in the building" Oliviera replied "Orders are to dispatch arms and eradicate the threat immediately, we can't afford to let it spread outside of the precinct...Stay alert, watch your sixes and stay alive!"

[Use all necessary containment procedures] the woman from previous spoke through their headsets guiding them inside.

[You are ordered to engage parasol should direct contact occur] the door was pulled shut and a bar pulled across so that no unwanted visitors would find their way inside. They were standing in the west wing hall of the police station covered in darkness, shrouded in faint wisps of moonlight. Oliviera motioned for two of the men to take front positions as they progressed through the place. The front men flicked their night vision down, click as lights popped on, they scoped out the area. The silence was broken by the sound of clicking as gun safeties were flicked off, armor clacked and chaffed as bodies were eager and ready, dressed head to toe in special combat gear, armed with state of the art weaponry. The neon sights gleaming from their helmets "Stay on full alert, and i want detailed read outs of every last atom in here" heavy breathing could be heard through their helmets. The hall was long and winding, eerily silent only adding to the already tense atmosphere, the sensation of fear surging beneath black indistinguishable helmets.

Although they could see nothing in plain sight, something was watching them with an envious intent as they continued moving further down the hall. "You even know what were looking for?" a soldier asked "Not a fucking clue, my guess is, anything that's not human - when you see it, shoot the big ugly thing" - "Sounds like we might be looking for your Mother, Fox" - "Ha, that's great. Kiss my ass!" - "You two, secure that shit. I Need all bodies focused and alert"

"I'm getting stronger traces, twenty percent and rising, it's close." another of the soldiers said; Oliviera stepped through the doorway his previous compatriot was guarding only to find him slumped in a corner near the door "Fynch..." the shotgun barrel was still warm, he'd been killed mere moments ago "Stay sharp" another soldier said as the rest of them came into the next section of the hall, they scoped out the area staying quiet scanning for any life signs "What have you got?" Oliviera asked "Nothing, yet sir" a soldier answered "Fox, anything?" "Hall's clear" Fox answered "Alright keep it tight" Oliviera spoke again; the distortion in his voice made it hard to specify his accent but possibly Latino, or Red Indian, Apachi tribe. Boots slowly bumped across the floor, anxious breathes, gear and equipment jingled, fingers on triggers.

Their gun sights created a misty line intensified by the moonlight peeking through window cracks. The front soldier slowly moved his sights to the left, a sudden flicker in the light caused him to let off rounds in a panic; all eyes turned to him "Damn it Benson, watch your line of fire?" - "What have you got?" Oliviera asked startled "I don't know, I... thought I saw something" the soldier answered "Secure that weapon" one his compatriots snapped "Sir." "Go to ultra violet, this thing could be sitting in front of us right now, no time to get sloppy" "Wait, I've got something" one of the soldiers said motioning around the place with his scanner about which, displayed a brief wireframe layout of the section they were currently in. Measuring the atmosphere in decibels and volumes, the screen was displayed in plasma definition following every millimetre of movement in real time "Dennis, talk to me" - "Major spike in viral levels, thirty percent...forty five...thirty five...forty two...it's up and down jesus...can't get an exact reading" He answered "Same over here, spore levels rising; too erratic to pinpoint" another said "It's trying to mask itself" Oliviera thought "How many?" he asked "Too many, to count, it keeps moving from one end of the room to the other. It's like there's more than one life form" "The ducts, maybe" one soldier said in suggestion, the soldiers peered up cautiously checking their areas, suddenly something reached out of the shadows and quietly pulled a soldier out of sight.

Dennis looked around noticing someone was missing "Where's Murdock?" the other soldiers looked around dumbstruck "God damn it!" Oliviera became apprehensive. A private, motioned around confident in his training and hopeful to bag and tag a monster, his green sights shrunk peeking further into the room, stunned. Four of the soldiers grouped up forming cube before gradually breaking off into pairs, suddenly *SWISH* one of the four had simply vanished. The remaining soldiers stood anxious trying to be ready for anything that came at them, Oliviera tried to keep his head clear. A single soldier aimed high; his sights darted around the room, and breathing became erratic as his pulse went up. Dozens of dark strings slowly lowered down over the window pain behind suddenly, found himself picked up as they wrapped tightly around his neck, his struggles were futile unable to scream. The troop fired around the corridor trying to catch the unseen enemy. Fox jumped aside shooting out one of the windows; the rest of them looked up just as a huge tentacle shot through Fox' torso and flung him aside like a ragdoll. Heart rates were off the charts, beating and pulsing harder than ever ready to leap out of their chests as fear began to take control. All their training hadn't prepared them for this, and Dennis backed up confused as he found himself entangled by more strange stringy appendages, weird and fucking scary. In a blink his frame was pulled up into the shadows. "It's using the walls...Stay clear of the walls" Oliviera began to lose his cool as he watched his men drop like flies "Shit" he stammered angrily.

The remaining troopers paused in a welcomed fall of silence, broken only by the sound of heavy breathing through their masks, green scopes and gun sights flashing about the place "You see it? Does anyone see it!?" - "I can't see anything" Unbeknownst an unsuspecting soldier stood anxiously, his goggles shrunk into red dots switching focus to their motion tracker momentarily. A large shape silently dropped down in an instant and slowly uncoiled swallowing the darkness around his frame. His comrade spun around to see, and veered back suddenly as he gazed upon the huge dark shape, unable to focus properly as he stumbled back. His team mate glared back in confusion before *CRUNCH* as a huge spine protrusion shot through his sternum skewering him like a kebab. The soldiers grip loosened and let his fire arm hang free, screams of agony, the shock caused his trigger arm to press down and fire out clipping Dennis in his shoulder. The remaining soldiers all switched around to see their unfortunate comrade skewered like a piece of meat, his whole body stunned before being lifted off the floor and brought around to look into the face of his killer. The B.O.W they'd been called in for, had finally revealed itself - "GEMINI". With an almighty roar its claw like hands took grip of the soldier and tore him in half, a bloody explosion of muscle flesh and internal organs splashed the walls. Oliveira horrified, its jaw widened exposing its rows of sharp jagged incisors, saliva running down its putrid fleshy aperture. The creature turned and the room lit up like the 4th of July, as guns snapped in flashing chatters of bullets; the unit stood their ground hoping to kill the thing.

Stray bullets pinged and ricochet off the walls and vents, practically hitting nothing, the creature whooshed from left to right almost as if it was teleporting, it's speed was like nothing they'd seen. "Reload" a soldier cried about to pack another clip into his mk5, a sudden grunt, as his chest was caught by an almighty wallop sending him across the hall. Oliviera tried to remain calm and lead his men, losing his nerve amidst the sound of bullets and flashes and strange whooshing. "Stay in formation" his shout muted by the constant booms and snaps from Heckler & Kocks "Choose your shots" - "Magazine!" one soldier throwing a fresh clip to the other, as they tried to stay in eye sight of one anothers position, spent casings spat out by the boat load. The creature screamed out angrily being hit by the occasional stray bullet, but having no real effect as it continued evasion tactics. Its tendrils whipped about furiously tearing up floor tile and wall plaster creating a smoke screen to blind them "Fox!" Oliviera called out for his comrade as two more of his men were snatched into the darkness one after the other; there screams muted out by shorts bursts of gunfire "It won't go down!" - "It's not stopping it, fall back. Fall back!" he screamed pulling one of his men back leaving the rest to suffer at the beasts clutches, it suddenly dropped down hurrying toward the door before it was pulled shut!
