Hello,my good readers! I know that it's been like forever since I lasted posted anything for this story but I've been through some really crazy stuff lately and just haven't had a lot of free time to myself. But this week I'm basically by myself so I have a lot more free time (Yay!). And you all have been messaging my non stop talking about updating and pairings and with it being this stories Anniversary I've decided to update and answer all of your question, (Another Yay!)
I'll list the pairing that will be coming up so far: NatsuXLisanna, GrayXJuvia, ErzaXJellal, LucyXvarious guys
There will also be a surprise twist couple later on but I'll keep that a secret for now
But anyway, on with the story!
Chapter 6: Unforeseen Circumstances

"Ow!"

"Ow!"

"Ow! OW! OWW! Can we please take a break?" Lucy pleaded
Levy sighed "Come on, we're almost there"
Lucy groaned and continued to use the nearest wall as support. She attempted to move another step but as soon as she moved, pain shot through her entire body and she fell to the floor
"I can't do it!" she cried and slumped deeper on the ground
Levy sighed again and grinned "Come on" she offered her hand to Lucy who gratefully accepted it. With a tug Lucy was off the ground and her arm was around Levy's shoulder
"Let's go" she said and the girls were off again
The girls were heading to their last class of the day which was History with . Lucy was just glad that whether it was her just sick sadistic way of torturing or maybe that she actually felt bad about what happened, but ether way Ms. Aquarius allowed Lucy to leave early and for Levy to accompany her.
After limping for a couple of more minutes, Lucy and Levy came to a door that had vines and different color markings on the door along with the Fairy Tail symbol. They entered the classroom and Lucy saw that they were the first ones to arrive. Levy helped Lucy find the seat next to her's which was in the far back. Once they were seated Lucy let out a huge sigh and laid her head on the table, Levy only grinned
"You're amazing you know that" Levy said
Lucy turned her head "Huh?"
"I mean not many people go through what you do and then keep fighting, I think it's amazing" she gave a heart filled smile
Lucy blushed and buried her face into the table again; she didn't want Levy or anyone else for that matter figuring out about her mental breakdown earlier.
"And besides, I've never seen someone take a barrage of dodge balls to the face and keep going" Levy giggled and Lucy cringed at the memory. She hadn't realized that rubber ball could do so much damage.
Lucy then remembered something and sat up "Are we going to talk about that whole "Traitor" thing?"
Levy frowned and opened her mouth to say something but the bell rung and students started to pour into the room.
Levy looked left and right before leaning over to Lucy "Later, okay" she whispered
Lucy only looked around and nodded. She watched as student after student entered the class room and suddenly, she caught sight of familiar green hair walking in with a spiky haired boy and cringed. The girl suddenly looked in Lucy's direction and scuffed before sticking her nose in the hair and fast walking to her seat, spiky haired boy in tack.
Lucy sunk lower into her seat, the memory of a car hurling toward her and suddenly stopping quickly flashed in her mind. Levy looked at the sunken blonde next to her and smiled softly. More and more students poured in, a silver haired girl laughing with her friends walked in and caught eyes with Lucy. Lucy jumped a little in her seat and the girl just stood there looking up at her. One of her friends tapped her on the shoulder making her jump slightly; she glanced back at Lucy before heading to her seat.
"Please, let there be no more surprises" Lucy pleaded in her head
After the bell rung Lucy let out a sigh. As the other students took their seat Lucy noticed that the teacher had yet to arrive.
Lucy looked at Levy "Where's the teacher?"
Levy leaned on her hand and shrugged "But, knowing, , he's probably…"
A yawn came from the middle of the classroom and from under a desk, a tall elderly tan skinned man with lushes green hair appears. He stretched and pops his back before speaking
"Good morning, class" he says nonchalantly
"Sleeping" Levy giggled at this
Lucy looked down at the teacher and stared, she could have mistaken the man for a tree if he wasn't talking but it still was weird
The man scanned over his classroom and when his eyed landed on Lucy he grinned up at her, for some reason she felt as if he wasn't looking at her but more so through her, as if she was some transparent being, and this made Lucy shutter.
He walked over to his desk which was covered in different types of bright colored flowers and took a seat
"Okay, class" he started "Today we will be learning about…" was interrupted when the classroom door suddenly flew open. All eyes were on the door or more likely "who" was standing there. A calm Erza entered the room carrying a knocked out Natsu and a shirtless but equally knocked out Gray
" , please excuse the interruption" Erza said throwing Natsu and Gray on the floor "I found these two fighting in the hall again and administered some equal punishment" she finished by kicking both Natsu and Gray in the head making them stir awake
"Aww man" Natsu groaned while rubbing his head and sitting up "I was just about to win to"
"As if, loser" Gray stood up and started putting on his shirt (Which apparently came from nowhere) making some of the girls in the room groan with disappointment
"What you say!" Natsu jumped up and clinched his fist
"You heard me, I said you're a…" Gray was cut off when Erza gave both them both a death stare. Both boys quickly stopped their argument and placed a fake friendly smile on their face
"I said that you're a great guy, right Natsu" Gray said nervously
"Yeah, back atcha buddy" Natsu grinned sheepishly
Both boys wrapped their arms around each other's necks and walked to up the stairs to their seats. When they were sure that Erza wasn't looking, they both glared at each other before separating. Natsu walked over to the opposite side of the room where the gray haired girl was located and Gray took a seat in front of where Levy and Lucy where sitting, where he was swarmed by giggling girls.
Lucy watched as both boys took their seats and took notice that all of the other students didn't seem as fazed by the events that took place. Lucy leaned over to Levy
"Does that happen a lot?" she asked
"More then you know" Levy giggled and Lucy sighed
"This school is to crazy" she thought
Erza took a seat in the front row and waited for the lesson to start
"Okay" began "Now that the little display is done, let's get on with the lesson shall we" some of the students started to groan
"Quiet!" Erza yelled
All the students shuttered at her voice and stopped all conversations
, cleared his voice and smiled "Don't worry, this activity should be fun" he chuckled to himself "We were going to have a history lesson but because I see we have some new faces" He glanced at Lucy and soon all eyes followed. Lucy shuttered as she felt all eyes on her, she had hoped that she would have gotten used to being the center of attention but it seems like that wasn't the case
"So today, I want everyone to get know each-other" he grinned and pulled out a stack of papers and placed them in front of Erza who looked up at him
"Please take one and pass it on" he asked
Erza passed the stack around and soon it was time for Lucy to get her's, Lucy looked over the paper:

The paper was just filled with personal questions about the person and that didn't seem so strange, but at the bottom was something that Lucy hadn't expected. At the bottom was a blank box that said:

"What does that even mean!" Lucy thought
She looked around the classroom and see's most of the student actually doing the assignment, she glanced over at Levy and saw that she was diligently working
"I guess I should just do it" Lucy grabbed a pencil from her bag and proceeded with filling out the paper

Lucy thought about it for a second, all of her classes where either to crazy or to boring to actually be her favorite. Lucy shook her head
"I'll just skip that one" she muttered and moved onto the next one
Least Favorite Class:
Lucy had no probably figuring out what class that was; she shivered at the memory of that sadistic blue haired woman. She moved onto the next question
Hopes/Dreams:
Lucy stopped and pondered for a second, she had never really thought about her future before, It just seemed like the only option that she had was to take over her dad's company because that was what she was raised to believe.
"The Heartfilia heir" She chuckled sadly to herself. Her future was already decided for her and that was that.
"Whatever"
Lucy skipped the question and moved onto next thing which was the crazy quote:
"I don't get this" she thought to herself "One truth, one secret, and one lie"
"I guess I should just answer the questions" she thought
"Okay, one truth, uhhh" Lucy really didn't know what truth to tell, she didn't have many rather then the big lie she was living.
"Uhh, I like cake" she muttered lamely but it was better than anything else she could think of and wrote it down
"Ok, next one "one secret" uhh" Lucy tapped her lip with her pencil as she pondered, she could write about her secret obsession with things all sweet, or perhaps that she was the heiress to a multinational company.
Lucy chuckled to herself at that thought and couldn't help when the chuckle became a full out blistering laugh, Lucy started calming herself down and that's when she noticed that everyone was staring at her again, she chuckled nervously and looked back down at the paper and decided that she would just write this:
"I'm not what I truly seem"
It wasn't the best thing in the world but it worked and Lucy had to admit that it made her seem a little more mysterious then she really was.
"And lastly "one lie", that's easy!"
Lucy wrote the most ubsurted thing that she could muster up and giggled at how silly she was acting over a single piece of paper. Once she was done, she noticed that everyone else had their heads on the table or was talking. She noticed out the corner of her eye that Natsu and the gray haired girl seemed to be enjoying themselves very much. Whenever Natsu would say something the girl would just giggle and shake her head, Lucy noticed that Natsu had his hand wrapped around the girl's and couldn't help but feel a little something in her chest.
"I'm not jealous, am I?" and Lucy shook the thought from her head
"Okay class, please pass you papers to" pondered for a moment "What's your name miss?" he asked
Lucy was so wrapped in her own world that she didn't notice that the teacher was staring up at her, Lucy looked left and right before pointing to herself and the teacher nodded
"Lucy" she replied
"Please say that again" he asked
"Lucy" she replied louder
"One more time" he said placing his hand to his ear
"My name is, Lucy!" she said even louder
"Everyone please pass you papers to, Lucille" he said
"It is Lucy, not Lucille!" she screeched
"Oh! I Love Lucy" he said with a huge smile on his face
"I said!" Lucy's whole face turned red and she looked like she was about to burst
"It was a joke!" he replies while smiling sheepishly
Lucy groaned and her head landed on the table a thick thud, Levy rubbed Lucy's back in comfort
"You just have to use to his jokes" Levy said soothingly
"Not if I kill myself, first" Lucy thought
All of the students passed their papers to Lucy, who placed her's on top and proceeded to walk down the steps to the teacher. Lucy made sure to take her time and walk slowly, anything other then what she was doing and she would trip
"One step at a time" she muttered to herself
"One…step"
"Two…step
"Three…Oh, where's three! Oh, their it is" She carefully walked up to with the stack of papers in tack and handed them off to him.
"There, that should gave me some grace points" she thought
Just as Lucy was about to turn around the sound of papers falling hit her ears, Lucy turned around and saw all of the papers that she just painstakingly brought down where now on the floor and the teacher was giving her a lazy grin
"Would you mind?"
"Yeah, Yeah" Lucy bent over and started to pick up the fallen pieces of paper. Lucy couldn't help her wondering eyes as she read the papers as she stacked them
"My dad is an alcoholic, but so am I so who cares" one paper said
"What the" Lucy muttered as she scanned other papers
"I have a pet serpent"
"I can't tell if this is a lie or not" she thought
Lucy then came upon one that struck her as odd, it read:
"I HATE ALL RICH PEOPLE!"
Lucy blinked at this; the statement was literally put in all caps showing someone's distinct hatred of rich people.
"How can someone hate rich people" she thought
"Lucy!" Levy whispered/yelled
"Huh" Lucy turned her head to Levy who was mouthing something to her but couldn't quite understand was she was saying until someone called out
"Hey Blondie, nice underwear" Lucy looked behind her and saw that her skirt was slightly hiked up giving the entire class a view of her white and pink polka-dot underwear. Some of the boys in the class started whistling
Lucy face flushed a bright red color as she quickly stood up and thrust the papers at the teacher , Lucy rushed up the stairs to her seat and when she sat down and slammed her head on the table with a hard thud.
On the other side of the room, Natsu watched in amusement at the antics of the blonde haired girl and grinned to himself.
As he bell rung all signaling the end of the school day, Lucy continued to lay at her desk with her head face down. Levy along with Jet and Droy continued to watch the girl as she groaned in frustration.
"Lucy" Levy muttered
"Come on, it's not that bad" said Jet
"Yeah, so people saw your underwear, big deal" Droy said nonchalantly
Levy glared at the two boys who only shuddered at the small blue haired girl. Levy patted Lucy on the back and Lucy looked up at Levy who had a smile plastered on her face.
"You know what you need"
"What?" Lucy groaned
"Ice – cream!" Levy beamed
Lucy sat up at the mention of something sweet
Levy giggled "There's this little parlor in the town that sells the best ice-cream"
"Grandeeney's!" both Jet and Droy yelled with glee
"That actually sounds like fun" Lucy said smiling
Levy clapped her hands together "Good, let's meet at the entrance of the school in about 10 minutes"
Levy grabbed her bag headed for the door with Jet and Droy in tow. Lucy stood up and grabbed her stuff when a shadow loomed over her. She quickly turned around and was met by the shy looking gray-haired girl and a non-interested Natsu.
Lucy looked at the girl and a flashback of their last encounter flashed through her head:
"You clumsy bitch!"
"Uh" she started "Um"
Lucy clenched a tight fist onto her bag and glanced at classroom door. She wondered if she had enough space to run if necessary. The girl made a swift moment and Lucy unconsciously took a step backward and closed her eyes waiting for something to happen, but when she opened them she didn't expect the girl to be bowing in front of her
"I'm so sorry!" she said
Lucy blinked a couple of time and Natsu look surprised
"I said some really rude things to you the other day and I am truly sorry" she continued
Lucy was shocked, she expected this girl to insult her left and right but not for her to apologize
"Uhh, it's no problem really"
"Yeah" Natsu jumped in "It was her fault in the first place, you shouldn't be the one to apologize, Lisanna"
Lucy scuffed "What do you mean my fault! You're the one that came up to me"
"Yeah, but you're the one that bought all the cupcakes and didn't want to share one" Natsu said crossing his arms
"I bought them so they were rightfully mine" Lucy mimed Natsu and crossed her arms over her chest
Lisanna stood up and looked at the two teens arguing, she started chuckling
Lucy and Natsu both looked at the giggling girl
"What's so funny" Natsu raised an eyebrow at the girl
Lisanna stopped giggling and looked at Natsu "I should have known you had something to do with what happened"
Natsu's mouth gaped open "What! But she's the one who" Lisanna placed a finger on Natsu's mouth silencing him. She rolled her eyes and turned to face Lucy
"I'm sorry about him but he has the mind of an eight year old" Both Lucy and Lisanna laughed at this while Natsu glared at the both of them.
"I'm outta here" he muttered and shoved his hands into his pocket while walking toward the door. Lisanna sighed but then smiled before turning to Lucy
"Let me introduce myself , Lisanna Strauss"
"My name is" Lucy was cut off
"Lucy Ashley" Lisanna said like it was the easiest thing in the world "Everyone knows who you are"
"Oh, great, I'm already known" Lucy sighed in her mind
"You and I should talk sometime, ok" Lisanna gave Lucy a wide smile
Lucy looked the girl over, there was something about her that just melted all of her doubts away, this girl was cute, friendly, and seemingly had Natsu tamed, this was someone that Lucy did not want on her bad sad
"Ok, that sounds nice" Lucy grinned
"Cool, see you later" Lisanna bounced down the stairs and out the door "Natsu, wait for me!" she yelled
Lucy smiled to herself and walked out of the classroom to the entrance of the school. She pushed the door open and was greeted by Levy, Jet, and Droy
"What took you so long" Droy inquired
"Nothing really" Lucy shrugged her shoulder
"Ready to go?" Levy asked as she checked her watch "The next train will be in here in a couple of minutes so we should get going"
"Right" they all said and headed off for the train
As they walked out, Lucy took notice of a group of students crowded around a expensive looking car. Lucy noticed Evergreen sitting there with a green haired boy who was talking to another tall person. She also noticed that a tall blond haired boy with a lighting shape tattoo over his eyes was leaned up against the car. The blond boy looked up and noticed Lucy looking at him, he grinned and through a sly smirk in her direction. Lucy shivered at the boy action, something about the way that he was looking her made he feel uneasy. She turned her attention back to the road in front of her.
As Lucy and her friends crossed the street to the train station, they did not notice that they were being watched by a couple of shadows.
"Check it out" one of the shadows said "It's a bunch of Fairy Tail students"
"What should we do" another shadow said carrying an umbrella
"We should strike while they are off guard, oui" another shadow said in a French accent
"What do you think?" another one asked
A tall muscular figure stood and looked at the oblivious students. The sun gleamed off the metal protrusions sticking on the boy face and he grinned evilly.
"No, not just yet" he said in a deep and commanding voice "Let's play with them first"
Who could those shadows possibly? (*wink, wink*)
