Digimon 05

Chapter 20: Contacting Gennai

"W-what" Leanne croaks out as she looks as Lewis and Daniella who are still looking at the four frozen bodies in shock. "I'll contact Gennai" she announces getting out her D terminal

"Leanne do you think that's wise" Mikey says slowly "I mean what if it's the evil trying to put us off guard"

"Do you think this is a laughing matter Mikey?" Leanne says annoyed as she places the phone piece to her ear and then waits as Gennai answers it "Gennai do you know about a savage Digimon attack?" she presses him earnestly

"If you're talking about Simona, Suzanne, Dana and Maria then yes. I saw the whole thing. Unfortunately I didn't see who attacked them but I do know if you can get them to a nearby hospital for humans" Gennai stressed and Leanne slightly blushed "Then I'll be able to treat them"

"So do you want us to come and get you then" Leanne said hopefully. Gennai nods and Leanne then hung up

"Ok so the plan is we now need Gennai who will be able to get us to a hospital. However these four can't be left on their own. So what I propose is you 2 stay here" Leanne nods towards Daniela and Lewis "While me and Mikey here go and get Gennai. We then all go to the hospital where they will get treated and then"

"We all live happy ever after" Mikey rolled his eyes. Leanne pretended not to hear the blunette boy's comment and then turned towards Lewis who was starting to cry

"Lew I know your upset but look if Dana doesn't get any treatment she might" Leanne then stopped

"So I need to be a big brave boy for Dana" Lewis smiled. Leanne nodded

"That`s right" she replied before turning back towards Mikey

"You ready?" she glanced at Mikey and the younger boy nodded. Leanne and Mikey then walked off in the direction of Gennais house with their Digimon while Daniella grabbed her D terminal

"I`m going to see if my brother can help us" she announced "Maria and Dana need us". Lewis just shrugged his small shoulders after all he was only five and didn't think he wanted to get involved in any arguments. He just glanced at the unmoving bodies of Dana and Maria and hoped that Gennai would return soon. He just wanted to return home to see his mother and father and for Dana to be well again. In some ways he did miss his older sister despite all of her nagging and teasing. Lewis sighed and sat on the gravel and waited some more

"Are we nearly there yet?" Mikey complains as he sits back down on the ground tying his shoelace

"I think so" Gaomon replied glancing at his partner.

"It's not so far" Lalamon chirped up looking down from her position on Leanne`s head who was checking the D terminal for the map on it

"Speak for yourself you don't have to walk up there" Mikey rolled his eyes.

"I just checked the D terminal and I think it's another ten minutes but really because it's just across that hill it won't be more than five." Leanne gave a smile to Mikey who didn't quite return it. The brunette sighed as she walked across to Mikey

"Think of Dana, Maria, Simona and Suzanne. They need this more than we do" she said quietly. Mikey nodded and the pair carried on their way. However they paused and stopped when they heard a rumble in the air

"Did you hear that?" Mikey paused and Leanne nodded

"Be careful" she said quietly however her fears were confronted when a giant sized Digimon jumped out from the grass and landed in front of Leanne and Mikey

"Greetings Digidestined" it bellowed out "I am Belphemon and I am here to show you that my master doesn't take too kindly to people coming here and messing up my plans!"

"He`s a mega Digimon" Lalamon squeaked. Leanne nodded and glanced at Mikey who also looked determined

"DNA charge!" both Digidestined announced gripping their fists

(The 2 ultimate Digimon glanced at Belphemon their eyes not leaving the mega Digimon. Suddenly Belphemon disappeared from view leaving the 2 Digimon confused and then de digivoling back to their rookie forms)

"That was weird" Leanne commented

"Maybe the evil didn't want to attack just yet" Mikey shrugged "Anyway let's go and find Gennai and then go back to Lewis and Dani" Leanne nodded and the pair carried on not knowing that the evil was watching them

"Good work Belphemon" he smirked "Now go to the hospital. Plenty of Digidestined will be there waiting and this is the perfect time for you to strike"

"Dani!. Lewis!" Leanne yelled out as they glanced around for the two youngest.

"Leanne over here" Gennai shouted as he noticed that the four bodies were also missing as well. Leanne and Mikey ran across and noticed that a piece of paper was lying there also

Don't worry about us. I contacted Damon and he said that he would take Maria and the others. We went with him and so did the other Digidestined. When you get this message please come

Danielle and Lewis

"I thought Damon said he couldn't treat them.." Leanne said confused

"Maybe he just got mixed up" Mikey shrugged. Gennai was also looking confused too

"What do you think Gennai?" Leanne glanced at the young man

"Damon is trustworthy so I think we should make our way to the hospital. Hopefully the others will have made it before us and then we can work on a plan of attack and Maria and the others can get the care that they need" Gennai added. Leanne nodded as she followed Mikey and Gennai towards the Digimon hospital not knowing they were about to walk straight into a trap as the evil would be there to welcome them with not so welcome arms and so was Belphemon.

Also something else I need to add. If the chapters are a long time coming out don't panic, I have had a lot of real life problems and sometimes I don't feel right writing or I don't have the inspiration but I promise I will get this fic finished and therefore this series which I have been working on a long time. I just need some time to sit down and get this finished but there is five more chapters to do after this one so it is coming to the end but I promise I will get it finished. Also as well I apologize as well for the length of this chapter as I realize it is quite short and hopefully the next chapter will be a lot longer. I just need to get my muse back and hopefully I will be getting that back soon fingers crossed.
