Onto chapter 22. This chapter is set a few months after the last one

Chapter 22 David`s golden day!
"And in other sport news David Kamiya- Adams has been selected by the English FA to train with their squad in preparation for their upcoming friendly against Portugal. If successful this bright hope could be."
"Hey I was watching that!" Allyson protested as Agumon poked its tongue out at the young female
"That`s great news for David" Anastacia gave a small smile at her sister. Allyson was stopping with her while James was away on a journalism course "I wonder if Fleur knows…" Allyson trailed off
"Portugal!" Fleur squeaked "But"
"I know and it will be for a week and they say no girlfriends or wife's allowed" David sighed "But if I score in this match then people might stand up and take notice Fleur" He glanced at his girlfriend who sighed
"I know but" she trailed off "What happens if you get fed up of me or girls throw themselves at you" She was interrupted by a soft kiss from David
"That isn't going to happen" he smiled and Fleur blushed slightly
"Ok" she nodded as David continued to kiss her "You can go. But score an hat trick" she grinned
"Il promise" David grinned excitedly
"Humans can be so silly" Biyomon added from the sidelines as Palmon agreed with her female Digimon friend
"Now promise me" Fleur added on. She was at the train station where David was going to travel down to London from Manchester and then fly out to Portugal
"I'll contact you on the D terminal as soon as I get to Portugal" David promised
"Actually" Fleur started to say "I might head to Birmingham for a few days and spend some time with Stacey and Allyson It isn't too far from London and I can get some modelling work done at the same time. You don't mind do you" she pouted and David shook his head
"It be good for us to spend time on our respective careers" David smiled before his train was called. He then said another goodbye to Fleur before he and Biyomon, who was hidden away in his carry on bag, boarded the train and Fleur waved and waved until David couldn't be seen any more. However the evil could see Fleur and decided he would send someone to ruin Fleurs day
"Trailmon" he spoke softly "I think I might have a little journey for you in mind." After a pause he grew angry "I don't know where to but where ever Miss Fleur is going to I want you to be the train that gets her there and makes sure that she doesn't get there. Clear. Good" the evil smirked as he hung up and began to make more plans.
"Thank you" Fleur gave a breath as she handed the ticket back to the ticket guard and as he walked away pushed Palmon further underneath the table
"That was close Palmon!" she whispered "He nearly saw you"
"Sorry" Palmon whispered "But I have never been on a train before and I wanted to know how different it was" Fleur was going to add something different when a young couple passed Fleur and gave her a smile then a look as if to say who is she talking to
"See" Fleur mouthed to Palmon "Now they think I`m weird and talking to myself". Suddenly the train stopped and the lights went off
"Huh" Fleur replied confused
"Sorry ladies and gentlemen due to a technical fault we are going to have to stop in Liverpool until we get another train sorted out. Sorry for the inconvenience" the tannoy explained as boos rang out. Fleur however gathered up her things along with Palmon and then got off the train where she checked her phone and then waited half an hour, however she was surprised when a gentleman came up to her
"Miss the train has now been fixed so if you would like to come with me" he replied
"But it was only broke half an hour ago" Fleur replied confused
"Well this is special circumstances due to your boyfriend playing in the England football team." The man explained. Fleur remained confused but she got onto the train. The train then started moving and Fleur stood there in shock
"Where is everyone?" she muttered and then realised Palmon wasn't there
"Ah you see this is a very special train in fact it isn't a train Miss Fleur but a Digimon. Please welcome Trailmon" the evil sniggered though the tannoy "And please enjoy the ride" Fleur then watched open mouthed as she saw Palmon cooped up in a cage in one of the other carriages and realised that she was on her own and that nobody would be coming to save her
"Allie!" Damon shouted to his girlfriend who ran to the TV screen
"What" she grinned playfully
"Isn't that the train Fleur was on coming to Birmingham" Damon mused glancing at the TV screen which was now a news report about the delayed train but he couldn't see Fleur anyway
"Maybe she went for a drink or maybe she was just out of camera shot" Allyson replied
"Yeah but this is Fleur. She loves being in the media spotlight. I just think something is up. I think we should get down to Birmingham station and check things out" Damon replied
"Your loss" Allyson sniffed as she followed her boyfriend out of the room closely followed by Agumon and Gomamon
"We shall be soon reaching our destination. Yes Birmingham however when we get there I shall reveal who I am and then defeat you. So be warned" the evil snarled. Fleur buried her head in her hands and then decided to type a text message to David just in case things went wrong. She wrote
Dear David
Just to say that I love you very much and I am sorry that I was mean to you about wanting to go to Portugal. Please find somebody that you love very much you deserve to be happy
Fleur
Fleur was about to press send on the message when all of a sudden the Trailmon crashed and Fleur lifted her head up. She then gasped when she saw MetalGreymon and Zudomon appear from the dust and Allyson and Damon on top of the giant Digimon
"See knew something was up" Damon glared at his girlfriend. However Fleur was delighted to see her best friend and her boyfriend
"See two of the brats are here too. However that doesn't matter as I can get rid of a triple threat in one go" the evil snarled as he prepared to reveal himself. However this wasn't enough for Zudomon and Metalgreymon
"Should we defeat him together" Zudomon muttered. However Palmon lifted herself up from the wreckage and shook her head
"Me and Fleur should defeat him together" Palmon said determined as she glanced at Fleur who nodded. Fleur then held out her digivice and Palmon started to glow

TOGEMON DIGIVOLE TO LILLYMON
(LIllymon flew around until she was above Trailmon who gulped at the sight of the ultimate Digimon)
"Flower Cannon!" Lillymon announced as she shot her attack towards Trailmon and hit it full on. Zudomon and Metalgreymon also sent their attacks and combined it was enough to defeat Trailmon who disappeared in a puff of dust
"And so who are you. Reveal yourself!" Damon shouted
"I don't think that is possible at the moment. However everything shall be revealed in due course. Please tell your friends that the final test is just around the corner so be prepared" the evil cackled as it disappeared from view
"So it's a human just like us" Damon snarled as the three ultimate Digimon went back to their rookie forms
"Not really Damon " Allyson said carefully "Remember Digimon can come to the real world not just from the Digital World. It's a lot different from when our mom and dad or even our grandparents went to the Digital World"
"I suppose" Damon sighed "We better get you back to the house Fleur" he smiled at the younger Digidestined as they made their way back to Anastacias and James house where
"You just came home in time" Anastacia smiled as she nodded towards the TV where David was shown celebrating after scoring the winning goal in injury time for England, The battle ahead of the Digidestined might be tough but for now all Fleur wanted to do was to enjoy this moment with her boyfriend. That was all that was important for now as the joy could be seen on her face
