Chapter 23: Daniellas despair! Shakkoumons rescue
"How did you manage on that homework that was set last week?" Daniella glanced at Lewis as the duo walked to their classes.
"Ok" Lewis shrugged pulling on his blonde hair. Daniella sighed as she sat by the pavement and looked up at Lewis
"I'm struggling" she replied "And if I don't pass this test next week I could be moved into a lower grade. And I don't want that to happen" Lewis thought for a moment before an idea came to him
"I could ask Dana" he replied "She is always wanting to earn extra money since mum and dad won't give her any handouts anymore. Say she`s too old or something like that. Plus she really wants to be a teacher like mum and dad so it would give her some extra training"
"Ok" Daniella nodded as the bell went for first class. Daniella then ran into the main building as Lewis also wandered off to his next class
"Have a good day at school" Dana smiled at Lewis who was sat at the kitchen table drinking a glass of milk
"Dana" Lewis glanced at his older sister "What would you say about earning some extra money?. You see Daniella needs tutoring and I thought you might be able to give her some extra help"
"I don't know Lew" Dana replied "What happens if we have to suddenly go back to the Digital World when Gennai contacts us again. I don't want to just drop Dani at a moment's notice"
"She will be going as well" Lewis retorted drinking his milk and Dana knew that her brother had a point just as Patamon and Gatomon came into the room
"Please Dana" Lewis begged and gave her the puppy dog eyes that Dana knew she couldn't say no too
"Ok" she nodded and Lewis gave a grin running up and engulfing g her in a hug
"Dani will be so pleased" he grinned "Can I go and ring her up now"
"I have a better idea why don't you ring her up and arrange a session for her for next week. Saves making two phone calls" Dana replied. Lewis then ran into the kitchen to pick up the phone and a moment later ran back into the living room
"Say where are your mother and father" Gatomon purred sitting next to Dana on the sofa
"Gone round to Naomi`s for a date night" Dana replied rolling her eyes as she flicked through the TV channels to see if there was anything on. Lewis then ran into his bedroom to play a game on one of his game stations and then there was peace and quiet in the Takeshi household
"Thank you so much for doing this Dana" Daniella said politely as she got out her revision materials.
"It's no problem Dani. Now what do you need help with first" Dana gave a small smile to the black headed younger girl. Lewis then headed into the kitchen to grab a snack
"Lewis can you go and play with Patamon somewhere while me and Dani do this" Dana scolded her younger brother
"But I`m bored" he whined however he followed her instructions and sloped off to outside along with Patamon, Gatomon and Armadilomon who had come with Daniella. Dana and Daniella then continued to work on some math problems when all of a sudden a giant roar filled the air
"What`s that" Daniella started to panic
"Oh it's probably some building work going on down the road. Nothing to worry about" Dana replied. Daniella calmed down then and carried on with the problems however they were interrupted by Lewis running into the kitchen closely followed by the three Digimon
"Dana there's a Digimon outside. A big giant bug who looks really scary!" Lewis exclaimed his eyes wide
"Lewis Digimon can't come to the real world. You know that right" Dana replied
"Actually you might be wrong there" Daniella replied as she looked up and saw the big giant bug Digimon flying about outside. Dana gulped and decided it was maybe worth checking out. The three children then ran outside and saw that Lewis was right
"Kuwagamon" Dana whispered as the three Digimon digivoled

PATOMON DIGIVOLE TO ANGEMON
ANGEMON DIGIVOLE…..
(However Kuwagamon decided that he had enough and swooped down and snatched Lewis digivice out of his hands)
"It doesn't matter Lewis. We should have enough fire power to defeat this creep" Dana exclaimed glaring at the bug Digimon
"Scissors claw!" Kuwagamon exclaimed swooping down and nearly grabbing Anklomon however Daniella jumped in front of her partner and the attack hit her
"Dani!" Lewis exclaimed tears coming to his eyes as he ran to his friend "Why would you do such a nasty thing to her!" he exclaimed as one of his tears dripped from his eye and landed on the digivice as Angemon and Anklomon glowed

ANGEMON
DNA DIGIVOLE TO SHAKKOUMON
(A bright light glowed as a new Digimon floated down)
"Isn't that what Dana and Maria did one time" Daniella spoke aloud
"You two DNA digivolved because Lewis was so worried about you" Dana exclaimed in excitement
"You have hurt our partners too many times. Prepare to be defeated" Shakkoumon spoke in unison as the DNA Digimon prepared to go into battle with Angewomon
"Celestal Arrow!" Angewomon exclaimed as she shot an arrow straight at Kuwagamon
"Justice beam!" Shakkoumon exclaimed as they also shot a beam straight at Kuwagamon. The two attacks were more than enough to defeat the champion Digimon and he slowly deleted from view leaving the two Digimon to de digivole back to Upamon, Tokomon and Gatomon
"So back to revising then" Daniella spoke aloud as she clutched Upamon
"I just received this email from Gennai" Dana paused "It says all Digidestined should meet in the Digital World a week from tomorrow as it is now time to defeat the evil that you have been searching for. You should now be ready to defeat it"
"So it's now time" Lewis replied
"Does all mean our parents as well" Daniella replied
"I don't think so Dani" Dana replied "I think just the ones who have been helping to defeat this Digimon. But I know we shall have to tell them as they won't want us sneaking off again
(However in Manchester David and Daniel had found something out that would change the entire game altogether)
"Have you found anything yet David?" Daniel glanced at his friend. Daniel had been having counselling since he had returned from the Digital world and seemed in high spirits
"No not yet but Gennai seemed pretty sure that I would find something. Peter has been helping me too, Cameron as well but since Peter doesn't have any children of his own and Damon seems more into his doctors work than his mother's side I thought I would step in" David replied "Since I am still on international break as well" David had been getting lots of texts and emails since he scored the winning goal for England also giving his club career a boost as well
"Well like I said if you need any help" Daniel replied as he walked out of the room. David continued to click on links then finally clicked on one that Peter had given him a few weeks before hand. It was to do with a trip that had happened a few years before the Original new Digidestined, like his mother, and originated around a man called Spencer Damon and a group of his friends. However he couldn't help but recognise one of them when he went to try and rescue Daniel with Luis Carmella and the others then a few weeks later Daniel returned.
"Daniel" he shouted to his friend then a few minutes passed before Daniel came back into the study "Can you just take a look at this picture for me" Nodding Daniel looked at the screen then jumped back from the screen in horror his face white and fear on it.
"T-That's the guy who locked me up and brainwashed me. The guy who made me attack the others until I returned from the Digital World. David it isn't a Digimon that the others need to defeat but him. Kurata" Daniel whispered in a hush of horror as he stared at the screen open mouthed. David knew that Gennai needed to know this straight away as he got onto his D terminal and contacted Gennai straight away knowing that the war was only just starting
