Hello again, and sorry for the wait!
R.K. Binx here (6 years late) and I hope anyone who is still interested in this story will be excited to know I have decided to completely re-work and finish it!
For the time being, I will leave up the original chapters. This is mostly so that I can own up to the mess I made of a great idea, and also to show you guys how great this story could have been from the start. The Maddy I had in my head deserves a much better representation than what I originally gave her. And I feel like I initially rushed through writing it because I wanted to get to the really dramatic bits. Because of that, I didn't do the characters or the story any justice, and I left out details that would have made a huge difference. So I'm sorry to any original readers that felt let down by either my writing or my absence.
I'm here to stay this time. And I welcome any and all feedback! Please feel free to be brutally honest! I mean it. I'm always looking to improve my writing, and I find that constructive criticism from fellow writers is extremely helpful.
I will be posting a brand new, re-worked chapter 1 tomorrow. 10/20/2016
