Yeah an update and only a third of the time it took me to update the last time. Only three months or 85 days.

What can I say- real life is busy.

Shel12 increased on my line about Percy smelling of the sea, Nico of death and Thalia of a pine tree. She thought Annabeth would smell of old books, and the Stoll boys of trouble! Do you also agree with her.

I would like to thank everyone who reviewed, liked and followed this and my other stories.

Previous in the story:

"The last thing I remembered before losing consciousness was flying, flying so high that Zeus would never forgive me, and then falling like a comet towards the earth, smoke, fire and water streaming from me," said Percy.

Calypso's Island

"Like Hayley's comet," said Katie.

"Except Percy the comet is a one off. Not going to repeat," said Percy.

"Damn I wanted to see Percy streaking across the sky," said Clarisse.

"I'll worry about your girlfriend," said Travis to Chris "wanting to see Percy naked." Thankfully for Travis, in the uproar that Zeus was making, only Chris heard his comment and retaliated with a hit to the back of the head.

"Don't go in my domain," shouted Zeus, thunder and lightning crackling in the air.

"It isn't like he planned or wanted to," said Thalia rolling her eyes.

"I woke up feeling like I was still on fire. My skin stung, my throat felt as dry as said," said Percy continuing with the story.

"Enough with comparing everything with the ocean," moaned Dionysus.

"At first I wondered if I was dead, but realised that I was looking at blue sky," said Percy.

"There is no blue sky in the land of the dead," said Nico with authority although he had explored about a third of the place if that.

"I could smell juniper and cedar and a bunch of other plants. I heard a fountain gurgling and waves gently lapping on a rocky shore," said Percy. "I tried to sit up, but my muscles felt like they were melting. A girl informed me that I was too weak. She laid a cool cloth on my forehead and spoon fed me nectar of the gods."

"Where ever you are, they are caring for you," said Demeter.

"Naturally I wondered if she trapped heroes to kill them, but then why wasn't I dead?" said Percy.

"Why would you think that?" asked Hera.

"Guinea Pig…" said Will.

"Circe has made you paranoid," said Apollo.

"WARY…. not Paranoid," said Percy.

"Do you blame us?" mumbled Annabeth.

"The girl had almond eyes and caramel-coloured hair braided over one shoulder. Her age was fifteen/sixteen but it was hard to tell as she had a face that seemed to be timeless," said Percy. "She had a cute laugh and she seemed to glow in the moonlight, she just seemed naturally beautiful," mused Percy forgetting that his girlfriend was in the room.

"Oh how is Calypso?" asked Hermes realising that Percy had made it to Ogygia.

"He's in Ogygia?" questioned Poseidon. Annabeth glanced at her boyfriend jealousy shining in her eyes. Percy had never confirmed or denied where he had been during those terrible two weeks he had been missing, she had rightly assumed.

"Ogygia was beautiful. I woke up in a cave, the ceiling glittering with different colour crystal formation white, purple and green. Outside the cave was a green meadow, on the left a grove of cedar trees and the right a huge flower garden. Four fountains shot water from the pipes of stone satyrs. The grass sloped down to a rocky beach where the waves of lake lapped at the stones," described Percy.

"It does sound beautiful," said Rachel with Katie agreeing with her. Annabeth huffed having decided that she would not like anything about Ogygia or Calypso.

"Calypso could not tell me how long I had been asleep but she knew who I was," said Percy.

"How did she know who you were?" asked Poseidon.

"Oh… I talk in my sleep," said Percy embarrassedly rubbing the nape of his neck.

"It's true," said all the demi gods laughing.

"We have recordings to prove it," said Thalia as Percy's eyes popped out of his head in surprise.

"I love the recording where Percy and Paul having a discussion on why he didn't do his homework," said Chris.

"My favourite part is where you get the impression Paul is blaming Annabeth," said Rachel

"Why am I being blamed?" interrupted Annabeth already in a bad mood.

"In the recording Percy points out that Annabeth wasn't to blame," said Connor with a grin.

"She was the reason why most of his homework is done," said Rachel as the demigods laughed except Percy and Annabeth.

"Calypso was interested to know who Annabeth was," said Percy.

"And who is Annabeth?" asked Aphrodite who could feel the jealously radiating from Annabeth.

"She was a friend, which had been with me before I fell from the sky," said Percy.

"A Friend," screeched Annabeth.

"Oh come on, it took him another year before he admitted that he liked you more than a friend," said Rachel rolling her eyes.

"Calypso was down at the lake and pointed out where I had landed and was confused on how I had survived, the water seemed to cushion my fall," said Percy rolling his eyes. "I wanted to get back to Annabeth Grover and Tyson but I was no good to them until I healed. I saw myself in a bronze mirror and it looked like I lost ten kilos I couldn't afford to lose. My hair was a rat's nest, singed on the edges like Hephaestus' beard. If I saw someone like that on a highway I would've locked the car doors."

"Not anymore, he picks up hitchhikers all the time," said Rachel. "Which is fine, except he always seems to choose the ones that stink."

"I grew closer to Calypso, although she seemed to pull away if we seemed to be enjoying ourselves. I was helping her to plant in the garden. One night she handed me a plant, the flowers glowing as I held them," said Percy ignoring Annabeth's glare.

"Is that Moonlace? I've heard of it, they can only be planted at night," said Katie.

"Yes it was. I asked Calypso what it does. I was informed that it lives, gives light and provide beauty, did it have to do anything else," said Percy.

"I've always wanted to see some Moonlace," sighed Katie.

"It is pretty," said Nico.

"How do you know what it looks like?" asked Hades.

"I can get you some, when I visit," said Hermes.

"Calypso mentioned that Hermes and some of the gods visit her from time to time. She admitted that the island was her punishment," said Percy.

"What did she do?" asked Connor.

"Nothing, but her father did a great deal. His name was Atlas," said Percy.

"She is being punished for something her father did, that is so not fair," huffed Nico.

"Calypso was under house arrest you might say because the gods do not trust their enemies, however she said she should not complain as some of the prisons were not as nice as hers," said Percy.

"It does sound nice for a prison," said Will.

"I was shocked when Calypso informed me that she had supported Atlas during the first war. He was her father," said Percy.

"What the Titans are evil!" said Thalia.

"Are they? All of them? All the time?" asked Percy looking directly at Thalia. "Calypso asked me if I supported the gods because they are good, or because they were my family."

"We are always good," exclaimed Zeus.

"Even when you are debating on whether to kill us?" asked Thalia glaring at her father, she still hadn't quite forgiven her father for that.

"Calypso and I were interrupted from our discussion by a column of fire moving across the surface of the water towards us. We had a visitor," said Percy. "The flames dissipated and Lord Hephaestus stood before us asking to have a word with me. I naturally enquired about Annabeth who Hephaestus informed me had made her way back to him and told the whole story," said Percy.

"I was worried sick," said Annabeth.

"I was shocked that Hephaestus hadn't told her that I was okay, that everyone thought I was dead. Hephaestus told me he wanted to make sure I was coming back before he started telling everyone where I was," Percy informed the group.

"What do you mean, of course you were coming back," exclaimed Thalia.

"Hephaestus pulled out a metal disc out of his pocket that expanded into a miniature bronze TV. On the screen was news footage of Mount St Helens, a huge plume of fire and ash trailing into the sky. The news footage was going on about being uncertain about further eruptions, and that authorities had ordered the evacuation of almost half a million people as a precaution," said Percy.

"Ash had fallen as far away as Lake Tahoe and Vancouver and the entire Mount St Helens area was closed to traffic within a hundred-mile radius," said Rachel.

"The Telekhines were scattered, some vaporized, and some got away. Hephaestus informed me that he didn't think they would be using his forge, but neither would he," said Percy.

"Why won't I be using my forge?" asked Hephaestus.

"The explosion caused Typhon to stir in his sleep," said Percy.

"He couldn't release him, he is not that powerful?" questioned Zeus clearly panicked.

"He is the son of the Earthshaker, he wouldn't know his own strength," said Athena looking cautious at Percy.

"I hadn't been in control of myself in that mountain. I'd released so much energy that I had almost vaporized myself, drained all the life out of me," said Percy as Poseidon showed signs of concerned.

"And had almost destroyed the Northwest US and almost woken the most horrible monster ever imprisoned by the gods," pointed out Chris.

"I wondered if maybe I was too dangerous, that it was safer for my friends to think I was dead," admitted Percy.

"No, way. Annabeth was distraught, me I wouldn't have minded," said Clarisse but the look on her face said otherwise.

"Hephaestus told me the way to Daedalus. He told me that it had nothing to do with Ariadne's string. That Theseus had help from the princess, the regular mortal princess. She had not a drop of god's blood in her but she was clever and she could see, she could see so clearly," said Percy.

"You have known the answer the whole time," said Apollo.

"Oh RED is not clever," said Connor before being sat on by the angry red head.

"I asked Hephaestus if he thought if Daedalus would even help us. I explained about the dreams …. Daedalus killed his nephew, he turned bitter and angry," said Percy.

"It isn't easy being a brilliant inventor. To be always alone and misunderstood. It is easy to turn bitter and make horrible mistakes. People are more difficult to work with and when you break them they can't be fixed," said Hephaestus.

"I was informed that Daedalus started well and helped the Princess Ariadne and Theseus because he felt sorry for them. He tried to do a good deed and everything in his life went bad because of it. Hephaestus was not sure if Daedalus would help me but said I shouldn't judge someone until you have stood at his forge and worked with his hammer," said Percy.

"So technically don't judge a book by its cover," said Annabeth.

"Or don't judge someone until you walk a mile in their shoes," said Hermes.

"After Hephaestus left, I walked the beach for several hours, Calypso was still in the garden when I returned about four or five in the morning. Calypso thought Hephaestus had ordered me to return but he had given me the choice," said Percy.

"Choice to what? Leave?" questioned Katie.

"Calypso informed me that she promised not to offer," said Percy.

"Offer what?" asked Annabeth.

"For him to stay," said Hestia.

"Stay… Like forever?" questioned Rachel looking between Annabeth and Percy wondering if Annabeth realised how special she was.

"I would be immortal on the island. I would never age or die. I could leave the fighting to others and could escape the prophecy," said Percy.

"Wow, what a choice to make," said Thalia.

"Calypso told me about her curse. The Gods send her a companion from time to time. They allow a hero to wash up on her shores, someone who needs her help. Calypso tends and befriends him but it is never random, the Fates make sure to send a person who can never stay. A person who can never accept her offer of companionship for more than a little while. Just the sort of person she can't help falling in love with," said Percy.

"Calypso fell in love with Percy," said Annabeth looking at her boyfriend.

"Do you blame her?" asked Rachel as Percy tried to convey how important her friendship to him was even then.

"That is cruel," said Katie.

"Well Aphrodite did warn me that she would be making it difficult for me in the romance department," said Percy looking at the goddess of love. "Calypso had told herself she wouldn't even offer but fate found that she had to."

"We can see that Percy didn't accept the offer," said Aphrodite.

"I never wanted to hurt Calypso but my friends needed me. I knew how to help them and had to get back," said Percy. "Calypso picked a flower from her garden, a sprig of silver moonlace, and tucked it into my shirt pocket. She asked if I would plant a garden in Manhattan for her."

"Percy did you?" asked Demeter as Percy nodded.

"Do you ever think about her?" asked Aphrodite.

"Yes. The Fates are cruel not only had they sent someone Calypso couldn't help but love, but it worked both ways. Calypso will always be my biggest what if!" admitted Percy looking at Annabeth hoping that she understood.

"Calypso sent me away from her island on a three metre square raft. It was logs lashed together with a pole for a mast and a simple white linen sail. It did not look sea or lake worthy," said Percy. "Within minutes the island of Ogygia was lost in mist. I was sailing over the water towards the sunrise. I told the raft to sail me home, to Camp Half-Blood. I needed comfort and friends."

"Well you now know how to get through the labyrinth," said Zeus.

A/N: Please review. I think people may be upset with Annabeth's reaction to Calypso in my story but she is older and wiser- She knows she got her MAN.

Also Annabeth's what if: wouldn't that be LUKE.

Your questions:

A guest asked if I would be doing the Heroes of Olympus books. The answer is No! (I hope to finish Percy Jackson. I am half way through the Labyrinth and have two more stories).

I was also asked if I was going to make Nico gay. I don't think so. But their concern of Nico and Thalia relationship is not going to happen (Thalia is a HUNTER).

A guest asked if I could put when the next update will be …..

It will be when the chapter gets written. (Sorry).
