"Hello, as you can see Coralie14 has finally updated," said Nico.
"It is February. I thought she was going to update for Christmas," said a confused Connor.
"No, it was the New Year," Travis butted in.
"Didn't it change for an Australia Day update?" asked Chris.
" She finished another chapter, does it matter if is a week later than planned?," asked Will.
"Only seven more chapters to go," said Annabeth.
"So read and review," said Thalia.
"It hopefully will motivate her to write more, and quickly," said Katie.
"And Clarisse can stop threatening to harm her," said Percy.
"She needs to stop procrastinating with the internet, and I might," said Clarisse.
"Hopefully her life will allow her to write often," said Rachel.
I would like to thank everyone who reviewed, liked and followed my story.
Dreams and a New Guide
I arrived back to a deserted Camp Half Blood. I noticed smoke from the amphitheatre, I had arrived home to the burning of my shroud," Percy informed the gods.
"It had been two weeks. It seemed unlikely our prayers were going to be answered," said Annabeth.
"I can't believe you returned the day of your funeral," said Hades.
"Chiron was letting Percy's best surviving friend to do the honours- Annabeth," said Will.
"So would Grover or Tyson have done the honours if they were there?" asked Aphrodite.
"No," said Clarisse "Annabeth would still do it. The empathy link would stop Grover and Tyson would let Annabeth do it." Unfortunately the people in the room had to agree with her.
"I must say that this burial shroud was so much nicer than the previous one," said Percy.
"Of course it was- Annabeth was in charge of organising it," said Clarisse "And she is in the cabin of the goddess who is the goddess of weavers."
"Green silk with an embroidered trident on it," Will informed those who hadn't been there.
"Annabeth looked terrible, her eyes were puffy from crying but managed to say; He was probably the bravest friend I have ever had," said Percy.
"Then she saw him," said Katie.
"Bravest friend you ever had… What about me?" Thalia asked Annabeth, who gulped.
"It is a pity she saw you, it would have been nice to hear what she thought of you," pondered Apollo.
"To be a fly on the wall at their funeral. That is the wish of some of the freshly deceased souls before they are judged," said Nico.
"Percy. Nico is spending too much time in the Underworld," said Annabeth.
"Yes Percy," agreed Rachel.
"That means another family outing," admitted Percy grinning at his cousins.
"NOoooo," yelled Nico as Thalia rubbed her hands together in glee.
"People were so happy to see Percy, clapping him on the back," said Travis.
"You were one of those people," pointed out Connor "The Ares cabin campers meanwhile were saying a few curses."
"Clarisse however was rolling her eyes, like she couldn't believe I had the nerve to survive," said Percy looking at Clarisse. Admittedly that had been what she had been thinking.
"Chiron seemed relieved that Percy had returned to camp," said Travis.
"He is probably glad that one of his assumed dead questing campers had returned," said Hestia quietly.
"Annabeth was very relieved Percy had returned. She shoved through the crowd pushing campers aside as she tried to get to him," said Connor.
"I wasn't that bad," said Annabeth glaring at Connor.
"A young camper from the Apollo cabin was pushed over," said Travis as Will and Connor nodded in confirmation.
"I can't believe Annie made a scene," said a shocked Thalia.
"I was expecting Annabeth to punch me but instead she hugged me," said Percy "she was so fierce in the hug she nearly cracked my ribs."
"I did not," said Annabeth "I had thought you were dead."
"I would have thought you were used to bone cracking hugs, what with Tyson as a brother," said Nico.
"I was used to it… from Tyson. Not Annabeth," said Percy.
"Percy informed us that he got LOST and Chiron thought they should go someone private," said Clarisse.
"So he picked up Annabeth and Percy, slugged them on his back and galloped off towards the big house," said Will.
"For someone who doesn't like campers riding on his back he sure lets Percy ride him often," said Dionysus.
"Once we were alone Percy told Chiron and I the whole story of where he was – he just omitted the part about Calypso," said Annabeth.
"Percy made a choice, he came back, the fact he omitted Calypso doesn't matter," said Rachel.
"I informed Annabeth and Chiron how to get through the Labyrinth. Annabeth thought my idea was crazy," said Percy.
"Of course it was crazy. It was a Percy plan," said Thalia.
"Plan what plan?" asked Connor.
"The plan to use a mortal to navigate the maze," said Percy.
"That is not crazy. We know Theseus had the help of Ariadne. Harriet Tubman daughter of Hermes used many mortals on her underground railway for the same reason," said Athena.
"Annabeth found it difficult to admit that she needed a mortal's help with her quest," said Percy.
"I was also jealous," admitted Annabeth.
"You do get territorial about your friends," said Clarisse.
"Anyway she stormed out of the room calling me the single most annoying person she had ever met," said Percy.
"Damn, I thought I was the most annoying person you had ever met," said Connor and Travis together.
"No, you two are the most annoying PAIR," said Clarisse rolling her eyes as the Stoll brothers broke into massive grins.
"Chiron organised that the following day Argus would take Annabeth and I into Manhattan. He suggested I stop by at moms as she was distraught," said Percy.
"You hadn't thought about your mom, had you?" asked Hera as Percy guiltily shook his head.
"Chiron then continued to give me the bad news. First about Grover and Tyson. No one had heard from them," said Percy. "Juniper was so distressed that all her leaves were turning yellow."
"She looked terrible," said Katie.
"The council of Cloven Elders had revoked Grover's Searcher's licence. If he came back he would be forced into a shameful exile," said Percy.
"Well we know he comes back, but the question is whether or not he is in exile," said Hermes.
"Chiron then proceeded to tell me more unpleasant news. The first was information about Chris," said Percy.
"What about me?" Chris asked, he was still holding hands with Clarisse.
"By then you had been moved into the infirmary. You were so weak, you didn't move, eat or drink. You didn't respond to anything," said Clarisse sadly.
"Chiron informed me that none of his medicine helped and that it seemed that Chris had simply lost the will to live," said Percy.
"Chiron had to order Clarisse back to her regular activities because she was constantly at your bedside," said Will to Chris.
"Wish he hadn't…. she was more ferocious and unpredictable," said Katie.
"I can't believe the HORSE told Percy that," said Clarisse flustered and angry that her feelings were being discussed.
"I felt horrible for Clarisse as she had tried so hard to help Chris. After being in the Labyrinth I could see how easy it would have been for the ghost of Minos to drive Chris mad," said Percy.
"If it wasn't for the help of my friends I would never have made it out," said Annabeth and Percy together.
"The other news Chiron told me was that Quintus had disappeared," said Percy.
"Disappeared? How?" asked Zeus.
"He had slipped into the Labyrinth three nights previous," said Annabeth "Juniper watched him go."
"Is he a spy for Luke?" asked Apollo "Quintus brought his scorpions from Geryon and he had been supplying Kronos's army. It can't be a coincidence."
"Chiron was upset, he had thought Quintus would prove to be a friend. He didn't like that his judgement had been bad," Percy informed the group.
"No one likes to be proven wrong," said Athena.
"Especially not Athena," said Poseidon.
"What about Mrs O'Leary?" Hades asked rolling his eyes. He hoping his question would diffuse an argument.
"She was still in the arena. She wouldn't let anyone approach," said Will.
"Chiron admitted that he didn't have the heart to cage her … or to destroy her," said Percy.
"He wanted to kill her?" exclaimed Nico clearly shocked with the idea.
"She is a Hellhound," said Hades.
"Why do I get the image of Tyson riding her with a helmet on," said Rachel quietly.
"Quintus wouldn't just leave her. No one would take the time to tame a monster to just abandon her," said Zeus.
"She is not a monster, she is Percy's friendly Pet," said Nico glaring at Zeus. Will put a soothing hand on Nico's back.
"After leaving Chiron I stopped at the arena. Mrs O'Leary was chewing half-heartedly on the head of a warrior dummy," said Percy.
"She is missing her owner," said Hestia.
"When she saw me, she came bounding towards me," said Percy "she bowled me over and started licking my face. Usually I can choose when I want to get wet, unfortunately this power does not work when I get a dog saliva bath."
"Of course it doesn't work," said Annabeth.
"I'm glad it doesn't work. If I get dog drool on me. SO DO YOU," said Nico.
"You're lucky she didn't bite your head off," said Clarisse grumpily.
"You are just upset that she tried to chew you up," Percy gloated.
"Stupid hellhound is not going to stop me from practising," Clarisse informed the group.
"Clarisse was ruthless, cutting the nearest dummy head off with a single blow, and driving her sword through its guts," said Percy. "She was upset about Chris and taking her anger out in practice."
"Things go wrong. Heroes get hurt. They die. And the monsters just keep coming back," said Clarisse with a sigh.
"Clarisse called Chris a hero, like he had never gone over to the Titan's side. It reminded me of the way Annabeth sometimes talked about Luke," said Percy truthfully.
"Where they see the good qualities of the person, while you can only see the bad and misguided due to previous incidences," said Hestia.
" I told Clarisse, Chris was brave and I hoped he'd get better," said Percy. "Clarisse asked me then to do her a favour."
"Clarisse asked for a favour, she never does that," gasped Will.
"Clearly she does," said Demeter.
"When I found Daedalus I was not to trust him, not to ask for help. To just kill him," said Percy.
"Clarisse why?" asked Athena as everyone was thinking just like Ares.
"Because anyone who could make something like the Labyrinth was plain evil," explained Clarisse.
"That was when Clarisse announced that practice time was over. From then on training was for real," replied Percy.
"Percy you didn't do the favour," pointed out Nico.
"When have those two done each other favours," asked Thalia.
"We do," admitted Clarisse "just not that often."
"That night the dreams found me again, after eluding me while on Calypso's Island," said Percy.
"More dreams," said an exacerbated Ares, when was eagerly waiting for fighting.
"I found myself in the courthouse of King Cocalus. It was a white chamber with marble columns and a wooden throne," said Percy.
"A wooden throne, couldn't he afford metal?" asked Will.
"No he spent it all on the marble pillars," said Chris off-handed.
"King Cocalus was a plump guy with curly red hair and a crown of laurels. At his side stood three girls, obviously his daughters, with his red hair wearing blue robes.
"No, wear green with red hair they complement each other," said Aphrodite.
"Did you hear that?" Travis asked Rachel.
"You are asking the artist about colour," Katie pointed out.
"Green looks best, but at least it was blue and not pink," said Rachel.
"Oh pink looks terrible with red hair," exclaimed Aphrodite. Travis and Connor exchanged looks and before anyone had time to register, a loud bang and splat was heard.
"STOLL," screamed Rachel who was now half covered in pink paint.
"What the hell," shouted Thalia who had spots of pink paint on her, and she hated pink.
"You are right, pink doesn't look good with red hair," said the brothers as they tried to escape the room. They made it to the door before they were tackled to the ground by Thalia and Annabeth who proceeded to sit on them.
"Where the hell did you get a paint bomb?" asked Chris as he and Clarisse assisted in checking his brother's pockets.
"Help" shouted Connor as he tried desperately to stop people going through his pockets. Annabeth and Chris was soon finished checking his pockets with Annabeth sitting on Connor with a small stash of paint balls next to her.
"No they are mine, yelled Travis as he tried to stop the hands trying to reach his pockets.
"Connor is clean," said Annabeth.
"I think we have them all," said Thalia to Clarisse as she got up from Travis. Chris grabbed Travis and patted him down before grabbing two more paintballs out of a secret pocket.
"Where did you get the paint bombs?" asked Clarisse glaring at the brothers.
"We found Hermes stash earlier," said Travis as he looked at his father.
"Hermes has a stack of paint bombs on Olympus?" questioned Hera as half the room looked towards said god.
"So we can expect a paint bomb prank," said Demeter glaring at her nephew. Hermes sighed looking at his sons, they had just ruined his next big prank… and it would have been legendary. No use for it now… maybe he could do in fifteen to twenty years. Just imagine the number of paint bombs he could collect by then.
"Let's get back to the story," said Apollo looking towards Percy as Rachel returned after a quick clean.
"The door to the room was opened and a herald announced the arrival of Minos, King of Crete," said Percy. "King Cocalus smiled to his daughters and stated he couldn't wait to see the expression on Minos's face."
"Why was he anxious to see Minos?" asked Will.
"It sounds like he knows something that Minos doesn't," replied Athena.
"Minos was so tall and serious he made Cocalus look silly. His beard had gone grey and he was thinner than in the previous dream," described Percy.
"What did he want?" asked Will.
"Cocalus had solved Minos's little riddle. The one that was advertised with a reward of a thousand gold talents to the one who could solve it," said Percy.
"How much is that?" asked Travis.
"Whatever it was worth it was enough for Cocalus to think that Minos had bankrupted his kingdom for the reward," replied Percy.
"He is desperate to get this riddle solved. What was the riddle?" asked Rachel.
"A spiral seashell with a silver string threaded through it, so it hung like a huge bead on a necklace," said Percy.
"How did he thread the string without breaking the shell?" asked Rachel.
"Cocalus admitted that one of his retainers solved it," said Percy "He used an ant, tied a silk string to it and coaxed the ant through the shell by putting honey at the far end."
"I don't believe it," declared Connor "How can you put a piece of string around an ant?"
"The retainer must be a Disney princess," mused Travis thinking of their abilities with animals.
"Why didn't they just use a needle and thread?" asked Will.
"Because you break more shells than you are successful," replied Rachel thinking about a previous art project.
"Cocalus shouldn't have mentioned that his retainer solved it," said Chris.
"Cocalus mentioned that it was his daughters tutor and that they were quite fond of him," said Percy.
"The retainer should be the one to get the reward not Cocalus," said Hermes.
"That is what Minos said. And that the only person who could solve the riddle was Daedalus," said Percy. "Minos that went on to explain how Daedalus was a thief that had worked in his court and that he had turned his own daughter against him. How he had helped a usurper to make a fool of him in his own palace and then had escaped justice."
"It would have been great if someone other than Daedalus had worked out the riddle," said Nico. "Imagine how stupid Minos would have looked turning up for the wrong person."
"Cocalus admitted that he knew nothing of his issues with Daedalus, however he had offered Daedalus his protection," said Percy. "Minos offered Cocalus a choice, either to turn over the fugitive to him and get the gold or risk making Minos an enemy, and trust him he didn't want Crete as his enemy."
Minos's pride is a GREAT reason to go to war," said Rachel her voice dripping with sarcasm.
"Not only is Minos bankrupting his kingdom he is also sending the country to war. Is revenge really worth it for Crete?" said Thalia.
"Cocalus paled and I thought it was stupid that he showed fear in his own throne room. He however decided to give Minos his man in chains," said Percy.
"The Gods don't like a man who breaks his oath of hospitality, but they also don't like those who harbour criminals, so who is in the right?" asked Thalia looking at the gods but not expecting an answer.
"Aelia the eldest daughter of Cocalus was not happy that her father was so readily handing over her much loved tutor. She objected but her tone of voice changed to a sweet tone as she suggested a feast with their guest, and that he should also be treated to a hot bath and new clothes to go along with the meal. She even said that it was her honour to draw the bath herself," said Percy.
"Hey Rachel, can you draw me a bath?" asked Nico handing Rachel her sketch pad.
"Minos couldn't resist a pretty smile and decided that a hot bath wouldn't go amiss, and followed Aelia and her sisters out of the chamber. They entered a bath chamber, steam filling the air as a running-water faucet poured hot water into a tub. Cocalus's daughters filled the tub with rose petals and Ancient Greek bubble bath as the water was soon covered in multi-coloured foam," said Percy.
"A bubble bath, it's been ages since I had one of those," said Thalia who often bathed in streams while on the hunt.
"Once Minos was in the bath Aelia and her sisters began trickling scented oil on his head. I thought Aelia was lying the flattery on rather thickly but Minos was eating it up," said Percy.
"What was she saying?" asked Apollo.
"That he was very determined to chase his prey for ten years. She was also batting her eyelashes," replied Percy.
"I hate when females bat their eyelashes," groaned Hermes, Apollo and Poseidon.
"Aelia informed Minos that Daedalus thought that he would come. That he thought the riddle was a trap but he couldn't resist solving it." Said Percy.
"Resistance is futile," said Connor.
"Minos was unhappy that Daedalus had spoken about him. He warned the princess that he was a bad man, that they shouldn't listen to him, that his own daughter had fallen under his spell," said Percy.
"What spell?" asked Chris.
"Aelia informed Minos that Daedalus was a genius. That he believed that a woman is just as smart as a man. Daedalus was the first person to teach them like they had a mind of their own and perhaps Minos's daughter felt the same way," said Percy.
"Considering that back then, women didn't have a say and was expected to follow their husband or father, it would be quite revolutionary," said Annabeth.
"You can also see why Minos would not be impressed with his teaching and ideas," said Athena.
"Minos tried to sit up but Aelia and her sisters pushed him back into the water. Aelia had three tiny orbs that I thought was bath beads until they sprouted bronze threads that began wrapping around Minos. It tied him up at the ankles, binding his wrists to his side and circled his neck. Soon Minos was hopeless, lying in the bath with his chin just above the water, the bronze strands still wrapping and tightening around him like a cocoon," said Percy. "Minos told the girls to tell Daedalus he would hound him even after death. That if there is any justice in the Underworld, that his soul will haunt him for eternity. Aelia just wished him luck in finding his justice in the Underworld before the bronze threads wrapped themselves around Minos's face, making him a bronze mummy."
"Not the nicest way to die," said Katie.
"Nico Di Angelo don't even think about it," said Annabeth glaring at the son of Hades.
"But it is so good. The great King Minos died in a bath tub," said Nico.
"You shouldn't tease the dead," said Annabeth
"Hey Percy you can help me. I'll shadow travel a bath into the Underworld and you can fill it with water. Persephone could even be convinced to give us rose petals and smelly oils."
"NO TEASING THE SOULS IN THE UNDERWORLD," yelled Hades glaring at his son.
"Says the person who has records of Stupid Deaths," said Hermes.
"That's different…." Exclaimed Hades. "I don't tease them for it… well once they are past judgement that is, but someone needs to do it."
"Stupid Deaths like what?" asked Connor and Travis.
"People who have died in ironic and stupid ways," said Hermes.
"So Hades was the first person to write the list of nominations for the Darwin Awards," said Rachel to Connor and Travis.
"Daedalus entered the bathhouse, carrying a traveller's bag. His hair was short his beard white and he looked frail and sad. He reached down and touched the mummy's forehead. It was as if King Minos had dissolved as the treads unravelled and sank to the bottom of the tub with nothing inside," said Percy.
"Now that is a horror movie death, disappearing in a mummy," said Chris.
"Daedalus thanked the princesses for giving King Minos a painless death which he thought was more than he deserved," said Percy "Daedalus was fearful that he had brought them trouble but Aelia was not concerned. Her father would be happy with the gold, and Crete was a very long way away. She was concerned for Daedalus as her father would blame him for Minos's death and that he needed to flee to somewhere safe."
"Somewhere safe? He has fled from kingdom to kingdom looking for somewhere safe," said Clarisse.
"And we know that Minos told the truth and that his death would not stop him from hounding Daedalus," said Hades.
"Daedalus stated that there was no place under the sun which would harbour him once word of his crime came out," said Percy.
"So where is he going to go?" asked Will.
"Daedalus stated that he would go to the place he swore never to enter again, his prison may be his only sanctuary," said Percy. "Daedalus was asked what of the Underworld. A terrible judgement awaited him there and that every man must die. Daedalus said perhaps, perhaps not as he pulled the same scroll I had seen in the previous dream, with his nephew's notes."
"He is actually contemplating the idea?" asked Athena.
"It would explain a lot," replied Hades.
"Daedalus informed the King of ghosts to find him if he dared and turned to the mosaic wall touched a mark that caused the wall to slide aside," said Percy.
"A secret passage, he had been busy," said Katie.
"The Labyrinth had been busy," said Clarisse.
"Daedalus informed the princesses not to follow him, if they valued their sanity," said Percy.
"Here you go Nico, one bubble bath filled bath tub," said Rachel passing a drawing to Nico.
"You actually drew him a bath," said Katie as everyone clambered to look at the drawing. The drawing was of an old fashion four claw bath tub which included one son of Hades sitting amongst massive of foam and bubbles.
"My dream shifted and I was underground in a stone chamber. Luke and another half-blood warrior were studying a map," said Percy.
"Maps are useless in the maze," said Hephaestus.
"Luke's companion asked if it was true about the larger the group the more likely you are to get lost. Luke admitted that it was true and that is why they sent out solo explorers to begin with," said Percy.
"If they are sending larger groups does that mean that they are getting desperate," asked Apollo.
"Luke had all his trust in the thread. He was sure Quintus would come through. All they had to do was reach the junction at the arena. It was impossible to get anywhere without passing it and why they must have a truce with its master," said Percy.
"They just had to stay alive," said Chris quietly.
"Luke mentioned Quintus… so he is a spy," said Will.
"Another half-blood warrior approached Luke and his companion. Apparently the dracaenae had found a half-blood wandering the maze alone. One that no one had ever seen before," said Percy.
"You thought it was me?" asked Nico.
"Not until I informed him that I had received an iris-message from Eurytion that you had left the ranch and had re-entered the maze," said Annabeth.
"It wasn't me," said Nico.
"But it could have been," said Thalia.
"And you could still be caught," said Will.
"The next day we arrived at Percy's mom's place at noon, who pulled him into a hug," said Annabeth.
"It was only a little less overwhelming than having a hellhound jump on you," said Percy "Mom informed me that she had told them I would be alright but she sounded like the weight of the world had just been lifted from her shoulders."
"Sally insisted we sit and eat her special blue chocolate-chip cookies while we updated her on the quest," said Annabeth.
"Aunty Sally's blue chocolate-chip cookies…. Our family "bonding" session is at Percy's place," said Thalia to Nico who grinned. He liked that plan.
"I tried to water down the frightening parts of the quest," said Percy.
"Which was pretty much everything," pointed out Annabeth.
"But it somehow just made it sound even more dangerous," said Percy.
"When we got to the part about Geryon and Percy cleaning the stables, Sally pretended she could strangle him as she couldn't get him to clean his room but he would clean a hundred tons of horse manure from a monster's stables," said Annabeth as the room laughed.
"Mom summed our tale up well, I wreaked Alcatraz Island, made Mount St Helens explode and displaced half a million people, but at least I was safe," said Percy.
"I love your mom, always looking at the bright side," said Thalia.
"Sally mentioned that she wish Paul was there as he wanted to talk to Percy," said Annabeth.
"Oh I had almost forgotten about you leaving the high school orientation as a fugitive," said Apollo.
"Paul knew there was something different about me. He believed that I was not a bad person. He was just having difficulty convincing the school that the fire wasn't my fault but at that time, the fact that I had run away looked bad," said Percy.
"Percy offered after the quest was done, to tell Paul the truth," said Annabeth.
"He'll think you were crazy," said Hera.
"He already thinks that… so there is nothing to lose," said Dionysus.
"Percy informed Sally of our plan and she confirmed that she had the same abilities that she could see through the Mist" said Annabeth.
"Mom admitted she did, just that it had been easier when she was younger. She had always seen more than what was good for her. It was one of the things that caught my father's attention when they first met," said Percy.
"Sally directed Percy to the phone in the hall," said Annabeth.
"Hang on- the number I gave you should have washed off," said Rachel.
"I might have memorized it, without meaning to," said Percy with a shrug and a slightly guilty look.
"We met Rachel Elizabeth Dare in Time Square and she was painted completely in gold," said Annabeth.
"It was an Art Project. We raised money for an Art fund. We dress up as statues and stand frozen in different poses," said Rachel with a shrug.
"We stood there for five minutes watching and she didn't move," whined Percy "She didn't even blink. She didn't even respond when Annabeth suggested we push her over."
"Once I was relieved by another participant, I suggested we go for coffee. Annabeth didn't seem to like me," said Rachel.
"You stood up and announced to the world that we weren't human, that we were half Greek god," said Annabeth.
"It wasn't the whole world, it was a café and no one seemed to care," said Rachel.
"A monster or trouble could have been there to attack us," argued Annabeth.
"Every time you see Percy, you are attacked, weren't you nervous," asked Demeter.
"But Percy keeps apologising for each attack, and I wasn't hurt," said Rachel.
"She wasn't kicked out of Goode thankfully," said Percy.
"They just asked me lots of questions about Percy. I played dumb," said Rachel.
"Was it hard?" asked Travis.
"For me, yes. For you it wouldn't have been hard," said Rachel glaring at Travis.
"I asked Rachel for help," said Percy.
"Annabeth was not happy that she needed my help," said Rachel.
"Percy explained to me about the Labyrinth and how they needed to find Daedalus. Apparently they needed me to guide them through a place I had never been because I could see through a magical Mist just like Ariadne and the Labyrinth wouldn't be able to fool me easily."
"It sounds dangerous, very dangerous. If you get lost you could die," said Katie.
"I was shocked that Rachel agreed to attend so easily," said Percy.
"My summer was going to be boring. It was the best offer I had," said Rachel.
"We had to find an entrance to the Labyrinth. The entrance at Camp-Half Blood was off-limits," said Annabeth.
"We explained it could be anything but would have the mark of Daedalus on it," said Percy.
"A Greek Delta glowing in blue. I knew what it looked like. It was at the Marriot hotel basement where we kept our costumes," said Rachel.
This is a long chapter (4983 words) and I hope you like what I added between the telling of the actual story.
Please review. Hopefully next chapter for Easter (but no promises).
