Ok I'm aware that it's already 2015 and I'm really sorry! . I wrote this entire chapter in November but the problem is that I have no idea how to continue it and it kind of got dragged on till today...

Special thanks to RubyHalo for proof reading for me! :D

"Alice…Alice…" I heard a familiar voice call out to me in the distance. It got louder and louder.
Slowly, I forced my eyes open only to find a blurry world, I rubbed my eyes with my tiny hands. I looked up, the blinding lights forced me to shield them. As my pupils go used to the brightness, I saw a figure in front of me.
"Papa?" I muttered in a high pitched voice.
My father sat upright on his bed, with a smile plastered on his face. I realized that I had been lying on his bed.
Was it really just a dream?
"Good morning sleepy head." A woman spoke.
I turned my head to find my mother, holding a jug of water.
"Mama? Is that you?"
She laughed.
"Of course it's me!"
"Did you have a dream?" My father asked.
"Yeah, I did. It was a scary one."
"Well, what was it about?"
"Mama and Papa left me alone and…. And…" A tear fell from my cheek.
"Oh my." Mother said as she quickly set the jug down and rushed to my side. She hugged me as an attempt to calm me down. "Don't be silly! We would never leave our little girl!"
"That's right, we'll always be by your side!"
"Really?" I asked.
"Really!" Dad assured. "Why don't we forget that dream by going out for a nice walk in the garden? The marigolds should be in bloom around now."
"But are you feeling alright?" I asked.
"Why wouldn't I be? I'm perfectly healthy!" He laughed.
He got off the bed, carried me up, and put me on his shoulders.
"Onwards!" I giggled.
He imitated a horse's neigh and ran out of the room.
"My goodness, it's like I have two children instead of one." Mother laughed.
The three of us went out of the house and played in the garden, or at least I did, one of the maids brought us some light refreshments, which were an assortment of hand sandwiches and a jar of orange juice. We sat at the gazebo and ate.
Wait, something...something's not right.
"Alice, you're turning 6 soon. Do you want anything for your birthday?" Father asked.
"Hmm… I want a new stuff toy!"
"But you already have so many!"
"I want a new one… can't I?"
"Alright!"
"How about a rabbit?"
"But I already have one."
"You do?"
"Yeah I do! His name is…." I dropped the cup I was holding. It shattered into a couple of pieces, shocking my mother.
"Are you ok? Did you cut yourself?!" Mother asked as she carried me away to another seat.
"His name…"
"Alice?" They gave me in a concern look.
"What's his name?" I shouted.
"What are you talking about Alice?"
"The rabbit! The rabbit's name!" I said frantically.
"Calm down Alice, Papa will make you one for your birthday alright?"
"No! You don't understand! This isn't right!"
"You just had a bad dream just now, so you must be a little shaken up but it's alright now. Everything is just fine."
"A dream?"
"Yes, it was a bad dream. Nothing is going to hurt you now."
"It was just a dream right?" I asked.
"Yes, just a dream." She repeated.
Was it?
Suddenly, at the corner of my eye I spotted a white figure pass by.
Was it just my imagination?
I got off my seat to inspect.
"Where are you going?" Father asked.
"I thought I saw something."
"There's nothing there, you must have imagined it."
"No, it was there."
Then, I saw it again. I was about to chase it when my mother caught hold of my hand.
"Don't go." She said. "This is what you wanted right?"
I was confused by her words.
"What... I want?" I asked.
"Yes, you wanted this right?" My mother asked.
"What I want...?"
"Alice." My father spoke. "You know what you truly want."
He smiled, it was not a normal smile, but a real one. One that I had not seen for a while.
Slowly, my mother released her grip on my hand.
"Go." They said with a assured look.
I nodded and ran off to look for the white object, but I turned around one last time, to look at my parents. As I chased after the mysterious person, i came to realize that no matter how fast I ran, I couldn't catch up with it. I could only catch a glimpse of it from time to time as if it was leading me somewhere.
"Wait!" I shouted at it but it took no notice of my cries.
It came to a halt in front of a large tree, i looked around the scenery was not familiar. I was sure our estate was not this large, we had probably strayed off path. I looked over to the mysterious person, the thing was, that it wasn't human, as it had a rabbit like shape and had a red ribbon around it's neck. It looked familiar but before i could get closer to it, the entire ground collapsed and a huge hole appeared beneath my feet, swallowing me into a large pit. I screamed as I fell, and fell and it didn't seem like I was going to stop. The light above me began to diminish and finally I landed with a thud. I fell unconscious.
As I began to regain conscious, I smelled pine in the distance, a familiar scent. I opened my eyes and looked. Before me was a field of sunflowers, all in full bloom. A gust of wind blew in my hair as I turned around. A familiar man sat beside me with a smile. His reddish hair rustled in the wind.
