Willow's World

"This is the list of demons that reside in forests?" Vi said handing back the paper to Faith.

"Provided by Andrew and Giles themselves," Willow said.

"Along with an essay on each of them provided by Dawn," Buffy said waving a large stack of papers.

Faith snorted. "It's official Buff, your sister's a tweed."

"She just wants to help and since she doesn't have supernatural abilities…" Buffy said.

"She could have become a kick ass witch like Red here," Faith said with a wink.

Everyone chuckled and Buffy said, "Well Willow's powers can only do so much. With this many demons living in the forest we have to be extra careful. If Kennedy teamed up with any of them we could be in big trouble."

"Slayer senses ready for action!" Vi said playfully.

Faith rolled her eyes and Willow nudged her gently.

"Let's keep moving, it'll be dark in a few hours and we should be in a clearing before the forest demons come out to play," Rona said.

"Rona is right guys." Kevin said. "Walking on this thin pass surrounded by trees is not safe, the demons could ambush us in any moment."

"Okay, walk faster," Buffy said.

The group trekked through the path at a soft jog and within a few minutes Willow was panting hard.

"Guys, we need to walk for a bit, we have a human remember?" Faith said.

Everyone slowed down and Rona handed Willow the water bottle. "You okay Wills?" Buffy said.

"Yeah, I'm fine, I was just never good at P.E ya know?" Willow said.

"I can see the clearing up ahead, we're almost there," Rona said.

The group walked in silence towards the clearing when suddenly Faith froze in her spot and grabbed Willow's shoulder.

"Faith what is it?" Buffy said.

Rona and Vi stopped and glanced back at Faith.

"There's something out there," Faith said.

Vi unsheathed her sword from her back and Rona two knives from her boots. Buffy grabbed her sword from her hip and handed Kevin a knife.

"Stay completely quiet, we need to hear," Faith said.

Willow looked around in fear, not being able to hear or see anything. Suddenly there was a wooshing sound and Willow turned to see a sharp blade hurdling towards her face. Faith was quick as lightning grabbing the blade with her bare hand stopping it right before it hit Willow's face.

Buffy jumped into action before Willow could even react to the close call. She leapt into the bushes and yanked out a porous demon that was holding another blade exactly like the one Faith had caught. Faith released the blade and hissed in pain as blood trickled down her hand and arm.

"Oh Goddess," Willow gasped, "your hand!"

"That's because I caught the wrong end of the blade Red," Faith groaned.

Buffy slammed the demon down and pressed her blade against his throat. "Why'd you try to kill my friend?"

"Raaaaaahh!" The demon yelled.

Buffy punched him hard in the face and yelled, "Tell me!"

"Kennedy told me to, now let me go!" the demon screeched.

"I'm not in the habit of letting evil demons go," Buffy said slitting the demon's throat with one swipe.

"Let's hurry and get to the clearing, my hand is fuckin' killing me," Faith said.

"Come on, I'll treat that for you," Willow said, grabbing Faith's wrist.

"You don't have to Red," Faith said.

"Considering you saved my life, I definitely do have to," Willow said.

"I'll set up your tent for you," Vi said, "considering your hand."

"I don't need to be taken care of!" Faith said.

"Faith shut up and let us help," Buffy said firmly.

Willow put a rag in Faith's hand and pressed down hard. "OW! Shit Red!"

Willow snorted. "Big bad Slayer can't take a little pain?"

"Shut up!" Faith growled.

Willow laughed and led her towards the clearing. The clearing was wide and spacious, definitely safe from any ambushes. Vi, Rona, and Kevin set up the three tents in a circle, as Buffy started a fire in the middle. Willow sat Faith on a large boulder and gently cleaned the wound.

"That cut is really deep," Willow said, "you need stitches."

"Stitches?" Faith said. "Well do you have alcohol?"

"Sorry Faith, you'll have to take the pain," Willow said.

"Shoulda let the blade get you," Faith grumbled with a playful smile.

"Thanks for that by the way," Willow said. "You're getting into the habit of saving me lately."

"Don't want anything bad to happen to you Red," Faith said.

Willow smiled and said, "You mean that sincerely don't you?"

Faith caressed Willow's cheek and said, "I do."

Willow flushed and said, "L-let's start this." She waved the needle and thread and lifted Faith's hand.

"Shit," Faith muttered. Willow slowly started stitching up the wound as Faith groaned in pain. Willow kept the stitching slow even though Faith was groaning loudly and cursing.

"I take it she's not enjoying that," Vi said with a grin.

"Don't tease me you little bitch! I'm gonna kick your ass after this!"

"Calm down Faith," Willow said. "Almost done."

Willow tied up the stitch then gently wrapped the wound.

"Hey Wills how come you didn't use your magic to heal her?" Buffy asked.

"You could have healed me without any pain?" Faith cried.

"If I could have I would have Faith," Willow said. "Unfortunately my healing powers only work on me, I haven't been able to harness the effect for others yet. I've been working on that with the coven."

"I'll try to avoid catching swords with my bare hands until then," Faith said.

"Unless they're gonna hit me in the face," Willow said.

"Learn the trick faster then," Faith said jumping off the bolder. "Now you, pipsqueak who was making fun of me, you wanna go!?"

Vi cowered away. "I was joking."

"That's what I thought," Faith grumbled.

"Faith, stop being a jerk, she set up our tent for us," Willow said.

"You know Red, you're pretty ballsy," Faith said, "anyone else talking the way you do to me would be knocked out right now."

"I have a feeling you wouldn't," Willow said opening the tent flap. "Not very roomy in here is it?"

"Guess we'll be nice and snug," Faith said with a smirk.

Willow flushed bright red.

"Okay, since one demon attacked already, I'm guessing there's more, we need to keep watch in shifts," Buffy said. "Kevin and I will take the first shift, and Vi and Rona you take the second."

"What about us?" Willow said.

"Willow you're getting some sleep, and Faith is not leaving your side for a moment, you are the most important factor in this search and Kennedy knows it," Buffy said. "She will do anything to kill you because without you we'll never find her."

"She's right, we can't expose you," Faith said.

"Alright, off to bed then."

Vamp Willow's World

"Hey boys, got you a gift," Willow said with a smirk laying down the seemingly lifeless body of Faith Lehane in front of Spike and Angel.

"That's her?" Angel said glancing at Spike.

"Yeah, let's get her in the car and take her to Giles," Spike said. "Hurry, we don't need Kakistos accidentally seeing us."

Willow lifted Faith into her arms and climbed into the backseat of the car. She laid Faith's head down on her lap and gently caressed her head. Spike and Angel got in the front and quickly drove away.

Angel glanced back at them and said, "Is she alright?"

"Yeah, she should wake up soon," Willow said tucking Faith's hair behind her ear.

"What happened back there?" Angel said eyeing Willow's hand suspiciously.

"She's very pretty isn't she?" Willow said with a smirk.

Spike glanced at them from the rear view mirror. "You had sex with her didn't you?"

"What? Hey that wasn't part of the plan!" Angel cried.

"Don't get your panties in a twist, it was consensual," Willow said.

"Consensual?" Angel said in confusion.

"Bullshit," Spike laughed. "Faith is not the lesbian type."

"Maybe in your world," Willow said. "Last time I was there your Willow was an innocent little straight girl, much different than me don't you think?"

"That's not the case any more," Spike said. "She's not innocent anymore, and she's definitely not straight."

"Okay, so maybe Faith is a lesbian in your world but hasn't realized it yet," Willow said.

"I don't know, she likes penis too much," Spike said shaking his head.

"Yeah, but once you have pussy you can't go back," Willow said.

Angel scoffed in disgust and Spike chuckled. "Ain't that the truth."

Willow laughed aloud and said, "Spike, you have a wild side even though you have a soul."

"That's because unlike Angel here, I realize that all the terrible things I did as a soulless vampire was done because I was soulless not because I actually wanted to do it," Spike said. "Angel blames himself, and I don't, I put my past behind me."

"Good technique," Willow said. "I like you Spike, not you Angel, you still annoy me."

"Like I care," Angel scoffed.

"Don't mess with Angel, if he ever becomes Angelus, you're the first person he's going after," Spike said.

"That's okay, I'd probably like him as that," Willow said.

"No you wouldn't," Spike said.

"Let's avoid that please," Angel said. "Isn't there a way to make my soul stay permanently like yours?"

"Maybe there's a spell out there but Willow is not a witch here," Spike said.

"Willow's the only witch in the world?" Angel said.

"She's the most powerful," Spike said.

"Who's the 2nd most powerful?" Willow asked.

"Your girlfriend," Spike said. "In my world of course."

"You think she's in this world?" Willow said intrigued.

"She wouldn't like you Willow, you're soulless," Spike said.

"Maybe she is too," Willow said.

"Not to mention if she's even alive," Angel said.

"Doesn't hurt to look," Spike said. "Her name is Tara."

Willow's World

Willow woke with a start at the sound of a howling wolf. She gasped and scrambled away from the tent entrance in fear until she hit something solid.

"Ow!"

Willow jolted and said, "Sorry Faith."

Faith sat up and said, "What's wrong with you?"

"I just heard, a wolf," Willow said gulping.

"You help Buffy fight off vampires, demons, freak-O cyborgs, and the incarnation of evil and you're scared of a fuckin' wolf?" Faith said.

"I'm also scared of spiders, I can't explain my fears Faith," Willow said in annoyance.

"Alright, alright, I'm just teasin' Red," Faith said. "I'll protect you from wolves, spiders, snakes, and anything else you're scared of."

Willow looked at Faith in surprise. "I'm surprised you care."

"Why wouldn't I care?" Faith said.

"I remember a time when you held a knife to my throat," Willow said.

"I'm a new Faith," Faith said.

"I agree, but you're more protective over me than anyone else," Willow said. "I've never seen you protect Xander, or Andrew, or Dawn the way you do me."

Faith shrugged. "I'm not really good with emotions Red."

"There are emotions involved?" Willow said looking deep into Faith's eyes. "Well, give it your best shot."

"I don't know what it is," Faith said. "I just feel…like I need to protect you. I…I want you close to me, I-I don't understand it…"

Faith was cut off when Willow pressed her lips against hers. Faith gasped in surprise and Willow slipped her tongue inside of her mouth. With a moan Faith swirled her tongue around Willow's unable to resist. Faith fell back onto her sleeping bag and Willow straddled her hips. Faith's hands ran over Willow's back as Willow ground down hard on Faith.

They broke the kiss with a gasp and Faith said, "What are you doing?"

"I don't know, I just couldn't stop myself," Willow said.

"But I'm not…"

"Then why'd you kiss me back?"

Faith's brow furrowed. "I don't…know."

"I wanna kiss you again," Willow said.

Faith's breathing picked and she gasped out, "and I'm not gonna stop you."
