VampWillow's World

"That's Giles' house right there," Spike said. "The thing is that in this world Giles will stake us right when he sees us Faith has to go up to the door"

"Willow when is she waking up?" Angel said.

Willow, who was still sitting in the car cradling Faith's head carressing her hair, looked up at Angel and said, "I can wake her now if you want."

"How?" Spike said cocking an eyebrow.

"No biting," Angel said firmly.

She grinned then leaned down and kissed Faith gently on the lips gently tapping her cheek to wake her.

"Didnt think you could be sensitive," Angel said.

"Willow is the most sensitive human its not really surprising that shes a sensitive vamp."

Willow snarled. "I am not sensitive!"

Faith groaned and took a deep breath. The vamps watched her as her eyes fluttered open and she groggily sat up.

"See? Told you i wasnt lying," Willow said.

Faith looked at Willow for a long moment then up at Spike and Angel who were watching her closely.

"Where are we?" Faith said.

"We are in front of Giles' house,"Spike said. "He is a watcher and he will train to be a slayer and defeat the Master."

"Okay, so what am i supposed to do?"

"Go to the door and tell him youre the next slayer and you need a watcher," Angel said.

"When he asks you how you know you explain to him that i am from an alternate reality and that Angel and I have souls and Willow is under magical oath to help you."

"Magical oath huh?" Faith said cocking an eyebrow.

"Doesnt mean i didnt and still don't want to fuck you," Willow said with a smirk.

Faith flushed bright red and quickly climbed out of the car. "I dont know why im even trusting you."

"Because you have no choice love," Spike said, "You either trust us or trust that Kakistos wont feel like killing you any time soon."

Faith gulped and nodded. She took a deep breath then walked towards Giles' door. She knocked on the door and waited nervously. The door only opened as much as the doorchain allowed and Faith could see a blue eye watching her from the crack.

"Who are you and what do you want?" Giles said harshly.

"Are you Giles?"

"Who are you!"

Faith jumped back slightly then said, "I am Faith Lehane im next in line to be the slayer."

The door shut hard then there was a rustling chain and the door opened wide. "Youre not a vampire?"

"I wouldnt be the next slayer if i were," Faith said.

Giles eyed her up and down slowly then pulled out a crucifix. Faith sighed and grabbed the top of it. "See? Not a vamp."

Giles pulled the crucifix away reached over to the side and threw holy water on Faith's face. Faith sighed and wiped away the water. "I told you im not a vamp now im just wet."

"One more test," Giles said narrowing his eyes.

"Dont try to stake me that kills humans too," Faith said.

"Vampires cant enter a house without an invitation."

Faith nodded and said, "Fine."

She stepped forward into Giles' doorway. "Do you believe me now?"

"We can never be too careful," Giles said. "Thats your first lesson. But I wonder how it is you know that you will be the next one? The chosen one is random."

"This is the part that you wont like," Faith said. "I was rescued from Kakistos' slave camp by three vampires. One of them is from a future alternate reality where he saw that i was to be the next slayer. Him and the other male vampire have souls and want to stop the Master, and the other one, Willow, is locked this magical spell where she iis forced to help me."

Giles looked pensive as he took off his glasses and wiped them on his shirt. "Vampires with souls. I've read about them but I thought it was a myth. Though I must admit a magical vow is brilliant it'd be the best insurance we could have."

"Look, all i know is that they wouldnt have risked their hides against the horrible Kakistos just to betray us," Faith said with a shrug.

"True, Kakistos is the strongest vampire after the Master."

"They're outside by the car."

"Tell them to come to the door but they are not invited in," Giles said.

Faith nodded then stepped out of the house to the car. "So what did he say?" Angel said stepping away from the car where and Spike were leaning. Willow was lying on her back on the hood of the car humming childishly.

"He wants to speak with you."

Spike and Angel nodded and walked up the path while Willow seductively slid down the hood of the car and sauntered up to Faith. "Youre hot when you're in charge."

Faith chuckled nervously and took a step back.

"Dont be scared i obviously cant hurt you," Willow said. "Vampire or not i appreciate a beautiful women."

Faith just blushed and nodded. They walked together behind Spike and Angel to Giles who had a stake in his hand. "Before we do anything i want you all to take a magical vow with me," Giles said.

Willow scoffed, "I already did that."

"Thats not by me, so lift up your right hands."

"Me too?" Faith asked.

"Yes, im sorry Faith but I've learned that humans are just as treacherous as vampires and I have to be safe. I'll lock myself in the vow as well, trust is a two-way street right?"

"Exactly mate, i am Spike, I'm the one from the future."

Giles nodded. "We will need to have a chat. But for now, repeat after me. Closerus mekum promesum."

"Closerus mekum promesum."

"I, Giles, vow to serve the slayer and potential slayers and any force fighting against the Master and his constituents." Giles looked at Spike, "Make your own vows."

"I, Spike, vow to fight against any force of evil and protect those who are good."

"I, Angel, vow to fight alongside any slayer or potential or watcher to defeat the Master, all other vampires, all evil demons, and any source of evil that may befall us."

"I, Willow, vow to fight on the good guys team, do as im told, and protect Faith Lehane with my life."

"I, Faith, vow to become a good slayer where i will defeat the Master and his forces, take down Kakistos' camp, and rescue any human in distress."

Giles looked satisfied. "Any who break the vow will spend an eternity of torture in Hell. So we are locked in Closerus mekerum promesum!"

There was a loud rumble of thunder and a streak of lightening shot down and hit the five of them. Angel, Spike, and Willow stumbled and Faith and Giles fell to the ground. Willow helped Faith stand and gently caressed her cheek. Giles groaned and stood up. "Alright, the vow is sealed, you may come in."

Willow's world

It was a loud shout that woke Willow from her slumber. The first thing she noticed was that sometime during the night she ended up face to face with Faith and somehow morphed together with her so that one of Faith's legs was draped over her waist and Willow's face was buried comfortably in Faith's bosom Faith noticed the closeness too but she didnt have time to question it as she went into slayer mode and grabbed her sword. They were still untangling themselves from each other when the tent flap opened and Buffy popped her head in. "Guys we're..." She paused and acknowledged their 'intimate' sleeping position with a questioning look then continued, "the demons are planning an ambush, Vi and Rona caught them organizing not too far from here."

Willow scrambled up as Faith adjusted her clothes, hair, and weapons. "Was Kennedy there?"

Buffy shook her head. "No, but I think she may hide in the background during the fight and wait for you to be unprotected so she can kill you Wills."

"I'm ain't lettin' that happen," Faith said firmly.

"We can't protect everyone in a fight you know that," Buffy said sadly.

Both Faith and Willow knew she was speaking of Anya, Spike, all the other slayers lost in the fight with the First, and even older battles like Tara and Miss Calender, but they knew she was mostly referring to Spike. The blonde had fallen for the vamp before he had turned good and that wasn't something she wanted to admit, unlike when she fell for Angel, who was much more accepted. Though Willow and Faith wondered which of the two Buffy loved more and if her current squeeze was even in the running or if he was just a transitional boyfriend like Riley.

"I want you to run."

Buffy's declaration caught Faith by surprise and she cried out, "Are you insane? You want Willow to run out into the Amazon fuckin' rainforest by herself? That can be exactly what Kennedy wants!"

"Kinda suicidal Buff," Willow added.

"Of course not alone, I'm not stupid," Buffy scoffed. "Faith you have to go with her. We can handle the demon gang without you, Vi actually has a brilliant plan. I didn't think she was so smart."

"Well she is the slayer that has had the least amount of injuries," Willow said.

"We're starting now, so pack your things and leave," Buffy said.

"You won't tell us the plan?" Faith said.

"No I don't want you to think about anyone else but Willow, we will find you when it's over, make sure to take the serum in case you run into Kennedy."

"How do we not get lost?" Faith said.

"Or get eaten by anacondas and crocodiles and other thingies," Willow said fearfully.

"Magical barriers," Buffy said.

"And a slayer who can kill fuckin uber vamps," Faith said. "I don't think you need to worry about snakes an' shit Red."

"Okay hurry up and go, we leave in five minutes."

The speed in which Faith packed up her bag and the tent was so fast that Willow hadnt even finished packing her sleeping bag. "Jeez Red, you dont camp much do ya?"

As Faith finished packing Willow's sleeping bag for her Willow said, "You obviously have."

"Back in the day when I was running from Kakistos and trying to find a way to Sunnydale so Buffy could help me, I hid out in some National Forests on the way. During the day I would sleep in my stolen sleeping bag and tent knowing Kakistos couldn't go out into the sun. I would hunt for food and eat and then pack up my things quickly and run away before nightfall."

"That must have been hard, but you do know it's against the law to harm any creature in national forests? The hunting you did was a felony."

"Don't think I care about that considering the other felonies I've committed," Faith said.

Willow nodded and said, "Murder beats that."

"Let's just go Red," Faith said with a heavy sigh.
