Chapter Four:

"So these are our new team mates huh?" I asked.

"So it appears." Jack replied.

We were sitting in first class seats within one of H.O.W.L's finest private jets; flying thousands of feet over Canadian air spaces while slowly approaching the Canadian/American border. Within first class Jack and I got to see our new team members; One was a blonde young girl, looked to be our age with long blond hair and sapphire blue eyes. She was sitting directly across from me and Jack and was just watching the Canadian mountains slowly pass by below us. Another a was a huge looking guy in a long light brown trench coat. From what little we saw of him Jack and I gathered that he was a year older than us maybe two years older. He was slouching down on his seat in the next row in front of us maybe catching up on his beauty sleep. And right next to him was a young red headed Asian girl; she looked like she was twelve maybe thirteen. She had a laptop resting on her tray while listening to music with her ear phones.

I discreetly pulled out the files of our new team members from my backpack and went over them with Jack.

"Okay so the Blonde's name is Dawn." Jack said in a low whisper. "Wow...She's...A vampire."

"That's a shocker." I replied. "She's...Two hundred years old!" I said while trying to keep my indoor whispering voice in check.

"Her file says she was bitten by another vampire back when she was only sixteen in 1814; she lost everything including her family and home when the vampire attacked them."

"Hey look here." Jack said as he pointed down her file. "She's been keeping herself alive by feeding on wildlife only and goes as long as she can without feeding. And has been searching for the same vampire who attacked her family."

"She's been apart of H.O.W.L ever since King Arthur and The Knights of the Round Table established it back when it was called The Order of the Wolf." I added.
Suddenly Dawn giggled as she was looking outside the window.

"Crap...Does she know we're talking about her?" Jack asked.

"I don't know but we better move on before we find out." I replied.

We then pulled out the guy in the light brown trench coat's file.

"His name is Hunter, Mathews." I began to say. "Age seventeen...Oh man..."

"What?" Jack asked.

"It says his family was taken over by a necromancer...And were used as sacrifices for his experiments."

"My God..." Jack said with a horrid expression on his face.

"H.O.W.L was able to find the necromancer before he could experiment on Hunter and were able to eliminate him. But that didn't stop Hunter from requesting to join up with H.O.W.L."

"Aries must have had a soft spot for him because he went against the council's demands and personally enlisted him." Jack said. "It was through H.O.W.L he was able to go through intense training and became one of our best sharp shooters. Able to hit a target from a hundred kilometers away; deadly with his twin revolvers."

"Hey looks like he has a connection with that little red head girl." I said.

"Really how?" Jack asked.

I looked behind Hunter's files and pulled out the little red head girl's files.

"Kimiko Kazumi; age twelve. Originally from Tokyo Japan but was raised in the states when her parents moved." I said.

"Wow...She has Ph.D, a Masters, and a Doctorate in psychics and engineering. She even helped design H.O.W.L's high tech weapons." Jack said. "Here's how she's connected to hunter." I said.

"Two years ago Kimiko hacked into H.O.W.L's databases and got an unexpected visit from a pack of werewolves and vampires; hoping they could...relinquish the information she had gathered to strike at H.O.W.L. Hunter was apart of the first response team and protected Kimiko and the information; then the council gave her two options. Either join H.O.W.L's special engineering team or basically risk having her and her family living with them looking over their shoulders for vampires and werewolves."

"Looks like ever since then Kimiko has been looking up towards Hunter as a role model even going as far as calling him Nee-san in public; Japanese for big brother." Jack added.

Suddenly a loud ding sound came from the intercoms and a female stewardess came on.

"Attention passengers we need all non-crew members to the conference room at this time; all non-crew members to the conference room at this time please thank you."

"Nee-san; time to wake up." Kimiko said as she lightly tugged on Hunter's sleeve.

"Okay Kimi I'm up, I'm up." Hunter said with a groggy voice.

"Shall we get to the conference room gentlemen?" Dawn asked me and Jack as she slowly lifted herself out of her seat. "And by the way it'll be my two hundred and sixteenth birthday in couple of weeks." Dawn said with a light smile.

"She did hear us..." Jack and I said in unison telepathically.

Hey guys sorry for the extremely long hiatus again but I'm just letting you all know that I haven't given up on Night Fang or any of my Fics I just have a lot going and school is about to start up again soon so for the foreseeable future NightFang's chapter won't be as long as some of my other chapters that way you all still get Night Fang while I work on other projects sorry for the inconvenience but I promise you'll all get the same good Night Fang goodness so until next time Peace ! -BeeKeeper101
