Sorry this isn't longer, but I'm back, I think for real this time.

"Now this is interesting." Cora said as she walked to the beanstalk. It's known among mages that each person's magic has a particular, smell, feel, it wasn't really describable in a physical since. It was just a feeling.

Some mages would hide their feel, so as to not let anyone know that they were involved. Others made an area reek of their feel, so much so that even normal people could feel it, either as a foreboding, 'go-away' feeling, or as a comforting safe one.

And right now, the beanstalk had her feel on it, which meant that her magic had been used on it.

"It seems the dear Captain has switched sides. Now what to do about that?" Cora said to herself before teleporting back to the camp. She went to her private collection and took out one of the hearts.

Animating corpses, necromancy, is not the easiest, or safest of magic. It requires a certain level of darkness in ones heart to even be able to make an attempt; the corpses have to see you as a dark, corrupting influence, like the underworld, or else they would try and consume the person's soul. And even if you could raise them, controlling them required a truly staggering amount of concentration. One or two could be done with some level of ease, five minutes and it was only a migraine for the next seven or eight hours.

To raise an army, even if you were insanely powerful, unless you were at some place with no distractions, at all, and with some powerful form of control mechanism, like their hearts that were ripped from their bodies before they died, it was impossible. If you have all that then you might be able to do it for 12 hours and not have any more than a big nose bleed and not be able to stand any light for the next three days.

But Cora wasn't like most other mages, and her tolerance for unpleasantness was astounding.

And anger had always been her pain killer of choice.

Storybroke Mayor Office.

"Mayor Mills, it's your, ah, your 2:00, he's um, here." Her assistant said.

"What, I don't have a…" Regina quickly checked her schedule. "I don't have a 2:00."

"No, you didn't." Gold said walking into her office. "I penciled myself in." Gold said, sitting down.

"Gold, how are you?"

"Good. Missing my wife, concerned if she is alive or not, but you know." He said. He then looked around the room. "You know, this place could use some redecorating." And then Gold waved his hand.

And the whole office turned pink and baby blue. With fluffy plush pillows and pictures of bunnies and blue birds. Regina just looked around, her mouth was hanging open, eyes wide.

"I like it, what do you think?" Gold asked.

"I think… I think…"

"You love it, I know." Gold said smiling.

"I…"

"Ah, don't speak, I know what you want to say. Now, I'm here about something that might unite us."

"What could, possibly do that?" Regina said looking around the room, still trying to come to terms with the fact that her office had been attacked by a four year old girl with a paint set.

"Cora."

And Regina's head tuned so fast to face him it was a miracle her neck didn't snap. "No, she's dead, I saw her body."

"What can I say, she was a good student." Gold said. "She's coming here, or at least trying to. And we both know how unpleasant that would be. Well, for you."

"And not you?" Regina said, looking like she didn't buy it.

"At the moment, I'm I little more concerned that she is over there, you know, with my wife."

"And if she gets here, your wife is over there, and your children are here. I'd say that makes it your problem." Regina said.

"No, I can handle Cora."

"That's not how she tells the story."

"That's because she never saw past the battle, but the war, well." He gave her a devilish smile. "This town is the proof that I won in the end."

Regina's eyes widened a bit, trying to make sense of the implication. "Your mother, she is powerful, devious, determined even. But we both know; she can't really put her heart into anything. But enough about her, what I need to know is, can I count on your help should she manage to find a way here."

"I don't want her here anymore then you do."

"Good." Gold then stood up to leave. "Oh, and, that outfit, doesn't really go with dose it." And then with a snap of his fingers, her outfit changed to baby pink with purple stripes and puffy green buttons.

"GOLD!" But he was already gone.

"Is that a squid on you head?" David asked.

"It appears that Regina didn't like how I redecorated her office or her outfit." Gold said, sitting there in Granny's, just, somehow looking dignified even with a squid just sitting there.

And then Ruby came up, looking very confused. "One, why?" She said pointing at the squid.

"Regina." Both David and Gold said.

"Okay." She just decided to go with it. "And the raw fish you ordered.

Amazingly, the squid raised one of its tentacles and then with another three of them, took the plate, set it down, and began eating some of the fish. "I ordered it for him."

"Really."

"Fattening him up for calamari." And then the squid slapped the back of his head. "Well what else am I going to do with you?"

The squid then climbed down, got a shot glass from behind the bar, a piece of paper, and a toothpick. It then put some ink into and dipped the toothpick in it, then it climbed back onto Gold's head and began drawing something with its improvised ink well and pen.

David, Gold, and Ruby just looked on in amassment. Eventually it stopped, gave Gold then paper, and went back to eating. "Okay, that is a good one."

The squid then turned the paper over and showed him what was on the other side. "Ruby, some lemon and sea salt for my friend here, the fish is a little bland."

"Why do you have a squid on your head dear?" Emma asked.

"What, don't I look dashing?"

"Yes, but why?"

"Regina cursed me."

"And what did you do to her?"

Instead of telling her, Gold shifted the scene to Regina's office. "Um, where are we?" Emma asked.

"Regina's new office, I redecorated for her."

"I can't tell if this is something I should worry about or not?"

"Oh, she will get over it."

"No, I mean worried that you seem to like pinks so much."

"It's salmon, and I chose it because she doesn't like it, and as motivation to help quickly."

"And so when we come back, you will fix…this." She said, waving her arms around at the room.

"Not sure yet."

"Thought so." She said smiling, it was funny after all. "So why is the squid here."

"He has a big day tomorrow." Gold said smiling.

"Do I want to know?"

"Probably not, but just know it was his idea." Emma's eyebrows went up when he said that. "He's very smart."

"Okay then. So on to a more important subject, how do we power the ashes?"

"It won't be easy, transferring magic is not easy. Powering the ashes is surprisingly like pluging in a charger, you need the right kind of plug in to make it work."

"So you can't charge an Iphone 2 with a Iphone 1 charger."

"More or less. Just have a more explosive and/or deadly results." Gold said. "Lake Nostos." Gold then shifted the scene again to a dry lake bed. "The water's here are like a universal charger, should work at least once, which is all you will need."

"Um, I realize I'm not an expert on magic or even lakes, got a C+ in Environmental Science, but don't lakes have water."

"Your father killed the siren who lived here, her presence was an attractant to the water, she was what caused the water to come up out of the ground to form the lake." Gold then made a hand motion and the ground began to fall away. "But the ground water that would recharge the lake remain." And after going down some five feet or so, water started to come up. "See."

"Well that is…"

"AAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHH!"

Suddenly there was a loud scream

"Something is happening." Gold yelled.

"What?" Emma said, suddenly frantic.

"I'm so sorry."

"What?" But she didn't get an answer as Gold thrust his hand forward at Emma, causing her to fly back, as the scene changed again.

Causing her to be falling over a cliff.

As Regina drove home, she was thinking about how she was going to reverse Gold's spell on her office, her clothes, and her car.

Her yellow clown car.

No, not a bug like Emma's, as in her car was now yellow, and had a red wig on top and a clown face painted on the front, with bubbles coming out of the exhaust pipe, and the horn had become the sound of a clown laughing.

And the radio was permanently on, with bad jokes coming out.

"So, what do you get when you mix a Mayor and a crab?"

"I don't know." Regina said. She had learned early on that she had to respond or it would just keep asking.

"You. Ha ha, ha ha." The car said, laughing at its own joke. "Why is there a crowd outside your house?"

"Oh some on, at least be a little creative."

"No, I'm really wondering?"

Regina then looked up, and saw that, yes, there was a crowd out on the street outside her house.

And then she saw why.

They weren't outside her house, they were outside of a giant, clear, fish bowl.

Shaped like her house.

With her stuff inside.

And a giant squid inside.

And Regina was sure it was smiling.

"Well, you were the one who gave him the squid." The car said.

Regina just saw red, and before she knew it she was at her door with her hand on the door knob, and then when she opened the door, water came crashing out of the door, washing her down into the street.

The squid shut the door, as his new home was losing water, and once the door was closed it quickly refilled.

Regina eventually managed to stand up, and then realized that no one had helped her. So she walked up to her door again, and this time, opened the door, but got out of the way, letting the water rush out and into the street, sending the crowd running.

She then used her magic to stop the water from flowing, and then moved the water to make a path to her room.

She went, got a suit case and a few days clothing, and then left.

The squid just sat there, happy in its fancy new bowl, and having learned that it likes fresh apples, was chewing on Regina's tree, having torn it out by the roots, finding the whole thing to be a nice treat.

Emma shot up, suddenly very wake and aware of the fact that something was going on. Looking around, she saw, zombies, really?

Zombies were attacking the camp, running through the forest toward the camp.

Philip and Lancelot were at the front, swords drawn, Mulan a few feet behind them, tracking down any ones that got past them, and Mary several feet back with arrows.

Emma looked up and saw Aurora and Hook near where she was, Aurora looking terrified, and Hook looking around for something to use as a weapon.

Emma jumped up. "Swan, I need a weapon." He then held up his hands, still bound. "Or at least untie me."

"And what's to stop you from stabbing me in the back?"

"Other than my word, nothing. But when facing a horde of the undead, one can't be too picky about one's allies."

"Fine." And Emma quickly cut his bonds and gave him a knife, a small one, and his hook back.

"Thank you." And then the three of them started running. Emma first, Aurora in the middle, and Hook bringing up the rear.

"Any plans Swan?" Hook yelled.

" A few actually." Emma yelled back. She then jumped up while turning in mid air, revealing a fire ball in her hand, and when she saw one of the zombies she let it fly right at him.

She landed back facing forward, and kept running, not even looking back, but she heard a crash and a bang that was all she needed to know that she had hit her target.

The one thing no one expected was for wolves to have followed the smell of meat, coming off the zombie army.

So one moment Mary Margret is firing arrows at the undead hoards that were advancing on the heroes as they were slowly forced to retreat. And the next a dozen wolves were attacking them for the heroes.

Which was good as it gave them time to run.

"Come on, we need to get to higher ground." Lancelot yelled. Turning and running from the battle. Phillip and Mulan ran after him, with Mary in the back, occasionally looking behind them.

They finally made it a good enough distance that they didn't see any more zombies., so they took a moment to stop and look around.

"Look." Mulan yelled, pointing at a small hill that was a short run away where Emma, Aurora, and Hook were all standing.

"Ah great, the pirate survived." Lancelot said, unhappy.

"You could sound a little less disappointed." Mary said.

"I'm not, it means I might still get the chance to kill him."

Mary just shook her head. "Lets get going." And they all started running again.

And as they pasted a fallen tree, a giant wolf, biggest one of the pack, jumped up and latched on with it's giant teeth at the closest person to it.

And that Person was Mary Margret.

Emma just screamed as she saw her mother's left arm be ripped off by the wolf, blood just, exploding out of where her shoulder used to be.

Emma instantly teleported down to where they were and through a fire ball at the wolf, incinerating it.

But her mom was already dead.

Meanwhile, Gold was at granny's, trying to make a potion that they could use that would prevent Cora from being able to enter the town.

"Let's see. Seven leaves from the left side of a black rose." Gold said.

"Found it." David yelled, holding up the jar. Unfortunately, Gold needed to do this with Regina, and the spell required something of a neutral territory to be cast. Which meant he had to bring everything he had for potion making to the dinner, and in order to find anything he needed a lot of help as he had amassed quite a collection of ingredients over the years.

"Thank you." Gold said, taking the needed leaves and adding them to the potion. "One hair from a descendant." Gold said, and Regina plucked a hair and gave it to Belle, who went and put it in the caldron.

But no one saw one of her hair which fell into the mix as well.

"That should do it. David, keep stirring until this hardens into basically a solid block. Henry, come with me, I might need help with the final ingredient."

"What's that?"

"Dragon piss. One of the most cursive substances ever, right behind hydra blood. It will melt the potion back down, and it's repulsiveness will give the position the kick it needs to keep Cora away."

"And why not bring it with you?" David asked.

"Because there is nothing here that could contain the smell, and believe me, you don't want to know how bad that can be, and no amount of open windows would work." Gold said. And then he and Henry left.

"Come one Jordan." Henry said, and the basset hound followed them out.

"So, just keep stirring I guess." And so David picked up the spoon and did just that. But after only a few stirs, he needed both hands, but also the potion was turning from a grey to an orange, and it looked like it was getting hotter.

And felt like it to.

"Regina, is this supposed to happen?" David asked.

"It's getting harder, like Gold said." Regina said, getting up from a seat at the bar to look at the potion.

"But is it supposed to be glowing orange, and it's getting hotter.

"So, what is going on with you and Grace?" Gold asked Henry as they were walking to the shop.

"Can you please ask me any other question?"

"Sure, what's going on with you and Jefferson's daughter?"

"Left myself wide open for that one, didn't I."

"Yep."

BOOM.

Suddenly there was a large explosion behind them, throwing them both to the ground. When their ears stopped ringing and they managed to turn and look, they saw, nothing.

Well, actually they saw quite a bit, what they didn't see was Granny's Dinner, anywhere. The building had blown up into a million pieces, there was raining derbies, a large pieces of the metal freezer was imbedded in the wall of the Rabbit Hole, but there was no Dinner.

"Well, I think something went very wrong."

Emma just stared at her dead mother, unable to think, to move, she could barley breath.

"Emma, we need to keep moving." Lancelot said.

"I can't, I…I can't."

"Emma." Hook said in a commanding voice. "Your mother wouldn't want you to mourn her here."

"Then were should I mourn her dammit."

"In Storybroke, with your loved ones. You need to soldier on, get home, and let your loved ones know that she died fighting the good fight. Don't let it be for nothing."

Emma took a long moment to consider his words. "I won't leave her body here."

"Of course not." Hook said. "Which is why Lancelot here was going to offer to carry her for you."

"And why not you, Pirate? Are you to weak to complete the task?"

"No, but you were her friend, do you want me to have the satisfaction of saying I swept Snow White off her feet?" Hook said with a cocky grin.

Which just earned him a punch in the face from Lancelot.

"Dad, what happened?" Henry asked.

"Something went very wrong, an added ingredient or something, caused a very volatile reaction." Gold said, looking around. "Belle, Granny, Red, Regina, and David, they are all dead."

"What are we going to tell mom, tell grandma?" Henry said, tears welling up in his eyes.

Gold just calmly placed a hand on his shoulders, willing himself not to get emotional as well. "We focus on getting them home first." He said. "That's all we can do for now."

Well that was fun. I have wanted to kill Belle off for so long, and I finally decided to do it. And for some reason Snow, David, and a lot of other characters have been bugging me, so I went for a mass kill off in this chap. And don't worry, Hook will be dead soon to.

So, tell me what you all think.

So sorry I haven't been updating much, but my life is now a lot less stress filled so I will see what I can do about updating more.

Reviews. For both 33 and 34

Thank you as always to Grace5231973, yes I know you are a die hard RumBelle fan, but I really don't like Belle anymore so I killed her, and for some reason decided to make this be a big tragic chapter to go with it.

Thanks Twyla, and yes, killing Gus was not a nice thing for the show to do, so I killed someone they should have killed 2 or 3 seasons ago. Real, I think having Rumple be a tragic love story would have worked so much better, because all Belle has done is led him to be declawed a lot.

And backups are a pain, especially when Word has no way of doing it onto a separate drive, what is the point of backups if they are on the same drive I ask you.

Thank you yuiop, for both reviews.

Chap 13

Thank you Sparky She-Demon, yes, Gold fainting would have been fun now that I think of it.
