Guess who's back! lol so sorry I took so long to write... But hope you guys enjoy this chapter

"Iron fist, nova, you guys have to make sure you have the perimeter down. Make sure you don't leave any loop holes for the subject to escape." Fury demanded. They nodded, understanding and agreeing.

"Powerman, you'll be the support. You have to make sure you examine for any weak spots on that building. You have to make sure you see the building will not collapse." Powerman nodded as well.

"Alright, White Tiger, Spiderman, you guys focus on-"

"Actually, Director Fury, if you don't mind," Tiger interrupted. "I would like to focus on getting the perimeter down." she said. "I've been lacking in that position."

There was a moment of silence. Fury nodded. "Alright, if that's what you want. Iron fist will switch spots with you." She nodded.

Things had been like this for the last couple of weeks. Everyone could see it, but no one was saying anything. At least none of the guys had dared to ask, to Ava that is. They had bugged Peter for days after the Harrys' party, but after days they had dropped it. Noticing that Peter wasn't talking or going to. That is of course, Luke and Danny, they had discussed that it was none of their business and they deserved some privacy.

*flashback*

"Alright, what the hell is going on with those two?" sam said drinking a soda as he sat on top of the kitchen counter.

"I don't know man, but those two have it bad" Luke said grabbing the milk out of the fridge.

"I don't think I have seen them talk for days!" Sam said surprised.

"Guys, just give them some privacy.." Danny said as he sat in the couch watching TV.

Sam gave him a funny glare, even though Danny wasn't looking. "Look, I'm telling you guys, I think things got a little spicy at the party." he said chuckling as he drank his soda. He noticed both Luke and Danny giving him a glare.

"Dude.." Luke said shaking his head

"What?!" he asked back. "I mean what else could it be!"

Luke was about to say something when Sam looked past Luke and noticed Peter coming. "Oh, Parker is coming guys! Don't make it awkward!" he yelled.

Peter sighed in annoyance as he was coming from the hallway. Luke turned back and saw Peter, he looked up at Sam with a glare.

"mornin Pete,"Luke greeted. Peter smiled. "Eating breakfast with us?" he asked.

"Yeah, maybe we can have bonding time with each other." Sam said sarcastically as he winked at Peter.

Peter simply rolled his eyes, as he walked past Luke, took a glass of milk and began to walk away. "yeah, I think I'll pass."

Luke waited until peter was gone, as he leaned sideways to take a good look once peter was gone. He heard a door open and close, then he switched back as he punched sam in the shoulder.

"OOww" sam cried as he rubbed his shoulder. "Dude, what the hell?!"

"Drop it, Sam." Luke said.

"What? You're telling me you're not even a little curious?"

Luke stared at Sam as he sighed "Whatever" and started to walk away.

*Flashback ends*

The team had gotten a report of a building with four robbers inside, as Fury had told them, they divided themselves how he said. Fist and Spidey, Tiger and nova and Powerman on his own. Once they got there and spotted the building the team got together.

"Alright, the building has four floors" spider started. "We're not sure where exactly they are located, so heres what we'll do: Fist, Powerman you guys come with me and search the building. We'll eventually be able to take down two, and just in case the other two escape, nova and tiger you'll be on the look out for that."

"K." Nova said floating in the air nonchalance. Tiger maintained her position. Spiderman made eye contact with her, but he just nodded. "Alright" he said.

"You guys ready? Let's take positions."Spiderman said as everyone began going to their spots.

The three heroes had gone inside the building. Tiger and Nova were hiding and looking towards the doors just in case.

"Well, this sucks." Nova deadpanned.

Tiger continued to keep her eyes on the door. "Just stay focused." was all she said.

Nova continued to float, bored, as he got a thought. "So.. whats the deal with you two?" he asked. Hoping not to get shredded to pieces.

"what?" tiger said confused.

"Oh my God, please. Don't act like you don't know what I'm talking about, we all see it." he explained. Tiger remained quiet. "None of your business" she said sourly.

"Alright, alright." Nova said dropping it. "I mean, it's not like we don't what happened anyways..."

Tiger looked at nova who was floating with his back towards the ground. "Meaning..?" she said with tension building up.

Nova turned around to look at her, "Meaning...ugh.." he began to stumble with his words. This was becoming very awkward. "You know," he said nervously."I don't even know where I was going with that.." he said rubbing his neck. "We should um, get back to-"

"Don't. Ever. Say that again." she threatened as she had pushed Nova against the ground.

"I didn't even say anything!" Nova defended as he started to slowly get back up.

"But you thought about it.." she said as she resumed to her original position. "Besides, its not like I don't know what happened with you and kara." she said with a grin behind her mask.

"Hey, nothing happened." Nova said suddenly defending himself. He could hear Tiger saying 'mhmm' softly. "Nothing." nova said again. "I mean it. Nothing happened. Besides, she doesn't even talk to me anymore. So thats already in the past." he said the last part all nonchalance.

"Well, duh, you haven't even apologize or anything." Tiger said.

"Apologize?" Nova asked back with a face. "I have nothing to apologize for. I didn't do anything."

"So? it still feels nice to hear the guy say something about what happened. It makes a better impression." she explained. "better than just hiding and be a coward about it." she said sourly.

Nova somewhat caught up, as he realized what was going on, but for once, said nothing about it. "Yeah, whatever." Nova said annoyed. "Its been weeks anyways, so I think i'll pass."

"Well, it's never too late." Tiger finished. Nova seemed to be in thought, that was until he saw Spiderman and the others come out of the building and gave them a thumbs up.

"Agh, no no no cmon!" Peter said waking up in the morning as he noticed he was gonna be late for school. He had forgotten to set his alarm and Aunt May had a bookclub meeting early in the morning, which would explain why he wasn't waken up.

Peter rushed down the stairs "Aunt may I'm gonna be late!" he yelled as he stuffed his mouth with a muffin, noticing the note on the fridge.

Peter I have bookclub meeting today. DON'T BE LATE.

Muffins are in the table.

And I hope you remember that I took the car.

"AGH! CMON!" peter cried. "She took the car!?" He said panicking. "Wait" he said getting an idea. He took out his phone. He waited for it to ring.

"Yo?"

"Sam!" He yelled unnecessarily. "You on your way to school?" he said hopeful.

"Dude, you know I always get donuts before school." He said in a duh tone.

"Yeah yeah, okay hey listen uhm, could you do me a favor?" he heard laughter through the phone. Peter sighed. "I need a ride to school."

The laughter continued. "Sam, cmon please."

"What's in it for me?" he asked still chuckling. "Seriously?" asked Peter in disbelief.

"Oh, what's that? You don't need me to give you a ride? Alright, see ya Park-"

"Okay fine uhm, I guess I'll eat Aunt May pancakes by myself.."

"Aunt May Pancakes?" Sam said excited. "Dude! why didn't you say so?"

Peter walked over to Sams car as he opened the door and gave him the so pancakes. "Yesss" he said stuffing his mouth with one.

"Oh my God, these are glorious!" he said with mouth full. "So, its us two, wanna share our feelings?" he said sarcastically.

"Sam, just don't." he deadpanned annoyed. "I'm not gonna talk."

"Listen dude, Im just trying to help you." he said still mouth full. "for once."

Peter chuckled. "Ha, yeah okay."

"Im serious webhead."

Peter gave him a glare. "Okay what are you talking about?"

"Isn't it obvious?"He asked back. Peter shrugged still clueless. Sam sighed annoyed. "Ava, dumbass."

Peter straighten up. "Alright, thats it I think I'm getting out of the car."

"Dude, its simple, just talk to her."

"Okay, why are you telling me this?"

"Because I'm clearly the expert here, duh. You, on the other hand...suck."

"Okay, okay I get." Peter said annoyed. There was a moment of silence for a few seconds. "No, but seriously why are you telling me this?"

Sam parked at the school's parking lot. "What part of 'because you suck' did you not get?"

Peter sighed as he got out of the car. He was about to walk away, but he stopped for a minute. Sam was getting out of the car.

"Well, thanks."Peter said. Never imagining he would say those words to Sam.

"Didn't do it for you, webhead." Sam said nonchalance as he grabbed his backpack and started to walk away. "oh, by the way, this is gonna cost you more muffins!" he yelled across the parking lot. Peter sighed as he somewhat smirked.

Peter made it inside the house, he caught a glimpse of Ava at her locker. He froze for a moment. "Okay." he told himself. As he began to walk towards her.

"Hey, Ava.." peter began, a little to awkward, but he at least began.

Ava closed her locker.

"Look Ava, we need to talk."

She looked at him for a moment. As she nodded.
