Piper stumbled into the girl's bathroom of the Argo II. It was only the first official day of their quest, and she already felt like death. Great. Annabeth and Hazel were already in the bathroom, Annabeth brushing her teeth, and Hazel with her hands behind her head, French braiding her curly hair. The sight of Annabeth cheered Piper up a bit. The older girl looked like a weight had been lifted off her shoulders, her eyes were shining, and she stood up straighter.
"So," Piper said, wiggling her eyebrows suggestively, "how's Percy?"
Annabeth choked on her toothpaste, and Hazel giggled, her coffee colored cheeks flushed. The daughter of Athena rinsed her mouth.
"He's fine." Her face had turned the color of the Aphrodite cabin. "Not that it's any of your business."
"Oh, but it is. As head counselor of the cabin of love," she said, enunciating the 'o' in love. "I have to know everything there is to know about Percabeth."
Hazel raised an eyebrow, "Okay, now I'm lost. Is that some sort of disease?"
Annabeth sighed and said, "The Aphrodite cabin thinks it's clever to mash names together to make couple names. Like Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt. Brangelina."
"Never heard of them."
"It doesn't matter," Annabeth shrugged. "Just mortal actors."
"Actually, Angelina's a sister of mine," Piper informed them. "But anyways, back to Percabeth."
Hazel nodded, and perched on the closed toilet, tying off her braid with a hair tie. "Percy loves you a lot. Whenever he would mention you on the quest, he got this look in his eyes…"
Annabeth's eyes started to well up, and she fanned at her face.
"I don't know why I'm crying," she mumbled.
Piper smiled softly, "It's okay, Annabeth. I don't know how you've kept yourself together this long. You've had to be strong for everyone else… You can cry for once."
She shook her head, pinching the bridge of her nose. "I'm fine."
Piper gave her a look that clearly said, Really? You think I believe that?
"I just can't help but think that he's changed. No offense Hazel, but Percy and Roman don't exactly mix."
Hazel bit her lip, "He's not becoming Roman, if that's what you're wondering. Sure, he's got the tattoo and all, but he's still a Greek. He looks like one, acts like one and fights like one. You should've seen our Lares when he entered camp the first time…"
"What'd they do, sound the alarms?" Piper joked.
"Well, they immediately knew he wasn't one of us- a Roman."
The daughter of Aphrodite placed her hand on her friend's shoulder.
"Even if he's changed, he still loves you. That, I can tell. Besides, Mom loves you two too much to ever let you break up."
A/N: Well. This is awkward. If anyone actually cares about this story anymore, hello. If you don't, well, I don't blame you. So, I decided to re-read all of the PJO and HoO books to get ready for HoH… And I remembered how much I love Percabeth. Don't expect consistent updates (or updates at all) but I guess I'll be updating this story whenever the mood strikes? I really do love you all, especially the ones who have been dealing with my crap since the beginning of this fanfiction. But… review. Feel free to leave me prompts, or just yell at me for being a lazy author. Either works.
I love you all! Yours in demigodishness and all that. Peace out.
