This is the final chapter of this story, but do not fret. I will be making a sequel named Never Been the Same. It will have Cristen in it but focus on my new character Jazzy. Read and review!

Epilogue

Jazzy was warming up at the bare when Cristen came in running.

"Sorry I'm late." She said scrambling to put her pointe shoes on. Jazzy sighed and watched as her friend tied her ribbons hastily.

"Whats that on your neck?" She asked squinting. Cristen rubbed her neck and when nothing came off she looked at Jazzy in confusion.

"What is it?"

"I don't know. It's red. It looks like something bit you." As soon as the words left her mouth, Jazzy's eyes widened. She knew exactly what that was. A hicky. Cristens hand flew up to her neck and she gritted her teeth in anger before waving it off.

"Oh that. Yeah I got bit by a bug or something during school. It's no big deal."

Jazzy's eyebrows rose but she let it go. What her friend did outside of dance wasn't her business. But what was her business was why she had been late or absent for almost every rehearsal since the year started.

"So why are you late this time?" She asked.

"I just got caught up again." She said. "I promise I'll be on time from now on."

"That's what you said last time."

Cristen sighed and walked up to the bar. Jazzy was taller than her and could clearly see that she had rushed to do her bun that day. Curly hairs were sticking out and it simply looked messy next to Jazzy's. Her own blonds locks, as usual, were pinned perfectly in place.

"It's complicated." Cristen said tucking a stray hair behind her ear. Jazzy wanted to ask her more but the teacher was starting a combination. Cristen didn't seem like she was giving anything up either. Jazzy decided to let it go for now. They could discuss it another time.

After class Jazzy went into the back room to get something she left, and when she finally walked out she expected everyone else to be gone. Cristen was still outside though talking on her phone.

"It's a big red spot on my neck...I don't care, someone saw it...Raph I told you that you can't just-...ok...Yes I forgive you but if you do it again im not kissing you for a week...is that a challenge?...I thought so...K love you to baby...bye."

She hung up and turned to see Jazzy standing right there.

"Oh hey Jazz." She said. "How long have you been standing there?"

"Long enough to know the reason why you've been late lately. Why didn't you just say you had a boyfriend?"

"Um...It's-"

"Complicated?" Jazzy supplied. "Yeah. Most things are with you know a days."

They stood in a uncomfortable silence for a while before Jazzy spoke up.

"Well my mom is probably wondering where I am." She said.

"Ok yeah, of course. How is she?"

"Good."

"Tell her I said Hi."

"Will do." Jazzy said before turning down the street. She didn't know when things had become so awkward between them two. It seemed like Cristen was pushing her out of her life. She didn't even tell her that she had a boyfriend.

It was minutes before Jazzy reached her apartment building. When she opened the door she found her mom on the couch watching TV.

"Hey there missy. I was about to send out a search party." Said her mom with a smile. Jazzy ploped down on the couch next to her.

"Hey. Sorry I was talking to Cristen. She says hi by they way."

"Oh my goodness its been a while since I heard that name. How is she doing?"

"I don't know?"

Jazzy's mom sighed. "Such a shame. You two were such great friends. Like two peas in a pod."

"Yeah." Jazzy said sadly. "Two peas in a pod."
