Annabeth and Percy walked through the hallways of the church, attempting to find Annabeth's family. She was tripping every so often in her heels, and Percy had an arm around her waist to steady her when she did.

She took a larger stumble as she attempted to go down the stairs. Annabeth cursed, "Gods, why is this so hard? I can slay a drakon, but give me heels, and I'm as useless as an Ares kid in a spelling bee."

Percy chuckled, "I dunno, Wise Girl. Why'd you wear them, anyways?"

"Susan wanted me to," she said miserably. "Apparently, even though I'm not a bridesmaid, I have to look "presentable."" She said, using air quotes around the word 'presentable.'

He was about to reply when they heard a laugh that he recognized as Annabeth's father's.

Annabeth turned towards her boyfriend, straightening the collar on his blazer and combing through the front of his hair with her fingers before doing the same to her own hair.

Percy caught her wrist, "Are you nervous?"

She nodded hesitantly, "Yeah. None of my family knows I'm a halfblood, to them I'm just the result of my dad knocking up some girl in his twenties. I guess I just try to impress them enough that they'll approve of me."

Percy scowled, but didn't say anything, he instead tilted her head up to give her a chaste kiss on the lips. They walked into an impeccably decorated parlor, and all eyes turned towards them.

Dr. Chase grinned at them, "Annabeth, Percy! Glad you could make it."

The room was scattered with people who looked similar to Annabeth, all different shades of blonde. A few muttered half-hearted greetings, but the remainder just gave them small waves or fake smiles.

Annabeth led Percy over to the far wall of the room, away from majority of her family, who then went back to their previous conversation about seating arrangements. A small girl, probably around the age of seven, padded over to the demigods, and tapped Annabeth on the leg to get her attention.

"Bethy?"

Percy knew that his girlfriend hated being called 'Anna,' or 'Beth' or any form of her name, other than it in it's full form, but she didn't correct the girl.

Annabeth knelt down to her level, a smile on her face. "Hey Remi, what's up?"

"I'm bored."

She laughed, "I'm sorry. How long have you been here?"

Percy watched as Annabeth conversed with the little girl, focusing on the way her mouth moved when she spoke, or the way her gray eyes sparkled. She had to repeat his name several times to snap him out of it.

"Percy? Seaweed Brain? Anyone home?"

He shook his head to clear his thoughts, "Oh, sorry."

Annabeth chuckled, "This is my cousin, Remi. Remi, this is Percy, my boyfriend."

Remi's brown eyes widened, "You have a boyfriend? That's so cool…"

The daughter of Athena took Percy's hand. "Yeah. And he's okay, I guess."

Percy stuck his tongue out at her, and she made a face in return.

Once her family had finished their debates on the final touches of the wedding, they dispersed and Annabeth went to go congratulate her cousin.

She placed a hand on her shoulder, "Taylor?"

Taylor turned around, smiling, "Annabeth, hey! I'm so happy you're here."

They hugged, and Annabeth pulled Percy over. "Taylor, this is my boyfriend, Percy Jackson. Perce, this is Taylor."

They shook hands, and Taylor muttered into Annabeth's ear, "He's cute."

Annabeth's face flushed, and Percy grinned, "I don't know what you said but it must've been good, to make Wise Girl's face turn that color."

She hit him on the shoulder, "Shut up."

They proceeded to make their way around the room, Annabeth making awkward conversation with her grandparents, aunts and uncles. Rehearsal was the worst part. As an ADHD demigod, Percy had enough trouble sitting still in ordinary situations, but in a church- where he was supposed to be absolutely silent, it was torture.

Annabeth had begun tracing imaginary patterns on his arm with her finger, and he was drumming out a beat on his knee. The pastor went on and on about the plans for the next day, and they practiced the entire service. An hour and a half later, when they were finally finished, Percy jumped up, pulling Annabeth with him. Once they got into the hallway he said, "Oh my gods, I thought I was going to die in there."

She nodded, "It was too long. I'm going to go tell my dad that we're going to take a walk or something."

He waited in the hallway alone, until a blonde-headed boy walked out of the church. He offered Percy a half-smile, "Hi."

Percy nodded in his direction, "Hey. I'm Percy, you?"

"Mason. You're Annabeth's boyfriend, right?"

"Yeah."

At that moment, Annabeth rejoined him in the hallway, "Okay Seaweed Brain, ready to go?"

"Sure. Where're we going?"

She shrugged, "I dunno, how about- Oh. Hi Mason."

Mason looked up from the ground, "Hi. Can I go with you guys? I think I'm going to explode if I have to spend another minute listening to Grandpa's stories about his cat."

They took their walk, making up a story to tell to Mason about how they met, but Annabeth was used to it. Half of her life was just a story.

Maybe her family didn't accept her, maybe they barely knew her. But some of them did, and that was all that mattered. Besides, she had an amazing boyfriend, and a real family back at Camp Half-Blood.

A/N: So? A lot of people asked for an exaggeration of the wedding thing I mentioned in the last drabble, so here it is! I hope everyone had fantastic Halloweens! Mine was really fun. If you read to the end, include the phrase "I really want (insert name here) to meet Percabeth." It could be a real person, a celebrity, a fictional character (from any fandom), whoever you like. Maybe I'll write a drabble on it!

Have a lovely day!
