Rio the Darkness 5: Alternative Darkness
Okay, everyone, here is the next chapter. I hope you all enjoy. I worked hard on this chapter so I hope you all like it.
chloemcg: Yep, Sapphire is dead. Sad, isn't it? And it's fine. Don't worry about it. Take all the time you need. And thanks, I will try my best.
The present day, Blu was now making his way up the pyramid in search of King Lenny, preparing to finish this once and for all as soon as he found him. But Blu knew well fact that Lenny was not going to give up so easily and wouldn't go down with facing Blu in combat first.
Eventually, Blu made it to the very first floor of the pyramid that was King Lenny's personal storage room where he likes to keep his personal belongings such as: rare weapons, books, types of magic scrolls to practice his powers, and even photos hanging on his walls that were photos of the rebels (a couple of them with crosses on them, meaning that they were no longer alive.
However, King Lenny was nowhere to be seen. Where in all of Rio could he be?
Before long, Blu spotted ladders onto a nearby wall which leaded up to the roof of the pyramid. He made his way towards it before he used both his beak and talons to climb up the ladder and opening up a hatch to the roof where the sunlight glazed upon him.
Blu climbed out from the room onto the huge roof of the pyramid which had quite a height. Blu leaned over the edge of the pyramid where he saw a long way down towards the ground. "Wow...What a height...I'd sure hate to not be bird right now."
The blue macaw turned around and finally, he found what he was looking for. King Lenny was standing right at the edge of the pyramid, glazing down upon the battle below, his scepter held tight in his wings with his cape blowing to the side by the side.
Blu made his way towards the evil King until they were both only ten feet away from each other.
King Lenny turned around and sighed when he saw a familiar face next to him. He walked a couple of feet away from the edge towards Blu with a smirk on his beak, a little glad that Blu was here so he could finish him off this time. "Ah, it is you. At last."
"Captain Lenny." Blu said, placing both his wings to his sides while he tried to negotiate with the evil King into giving up the Orb of Light once and for all. "If you give up the Orb, I will let you live."
"Give up the Orb?" Lenny quiered, glazing upon the Orb of Light before chuckling a little, immediately refusing to Blu's terms. "And why would I do that?"
"It controls you, Lenny." Blu answered, trying his best to convince the evil King that the Orb was controlling him but he did not know about it.
"Is that what you believe?" Lenny inquired, staring upon the Orb, looking upon it's beauty inside. "I believe I am the one who has control here. Although I never believed something like this could control someone. Maybe it can."
"You have been corrupted by the Orb, Lenny." Blu countered, still trying to convince him that he was secretly being controlled by the Orb's power.
"Corrupted, you say? Hmmm." Lenny hummed, before he and Blu slowly began walking around in circles together around the pyramid rooftop. "Well, that raises an interesting question: do you wish for me to give up the Orb to...How you say, save my soul? Or do you wish for the Orb so that you can control Rio?"
"I'm not like that, Lenny." Blu replied, moving his wingtips around, preparing to attack Lenny just in case his negotiation attempted did not work.
"Really? Well, let's say you had the Orb? How would you behave differently?" Lenny inquired, raising his scepter into the air and pointing it towards Blu. "What would you go that I wouldn't?"
Blu arched a curious eyebrow, wondering why King Lenny would ask such a question like that. However, he did decide to answer anyway. "I would use the Orb for the good of everyone. I would use it to bring happiness and a peaceful life. Not using it to take whatever I want-just like you are doing."
"Is that so?" Lenny inquired, slowly stroking the Orb of Light with his left wing. "Tell me something else, do you know what it is like to be King?"
"Enough questions, Lenny." Blu snapped, curling his wings together like fists and standing in his defensive position. "The birds of Rio want you brought down and I will stop you."
"Oh, but you did not answer the question, did you?" Lenny inquired, as the Orb of Light slowly began powering up with light. Lenny charged up the Orb and raised the scepter into the air before screaming out to the blue macaw. "I AM THE ONLY KING HERE!"
Lenny used the powers of the Orb to appear four glowing fireballs around him, protecting him from Blu just in case he would get close.
Blu knew it was time for action and without hesitation, he went invisible and slowly made his way towards Lenny, also avoiding the fireballs. He knew if he touched one of them, they would injure him and expose him in plain sight, giving Lenny the upper advantage.

"Disappear, it won't save you!" Lenny yelled, looking and listening around carefully for Blu's talon steps. Before he knew it, Lenny was struck directly in his face by Blu's wing. he quickly responded by whacking Blu away with the power of the Orb of Light. "Clever trick, macaw!"
Blu landed down onto his talons and used his wings to keep himself from falling. He growled while using his dash ability to move around in multiple directions to confuse the evil King.
When Blu got close, he curled his wings like fists and quickly began hitting Lenny in his stomach, hurting him a little.
Lenny blocked his next attack with the scepter before firing a beam from the Orb of Light, sending Blu all the way onto the other side of the roof, landing him down stomach first, followed by a thud.
I could fight the feeling
To resist it over time
But when it's just too much to take
You sneak up from behind
Blu groaned as he got back up onto his talons where Lenny charged up the Orb again and slammed it to the ground, sending a shock wave through the ground.
As the shockwave spread, Blu used his dash power to leap into the air in a quick flash, and before Lenny could understand what had happened, Blu had leaped down onto him and knocked him to the ground on his back.
He curled his wing while using his right wing to keep Lenny down, and delivered two strikes to the evil King's face.
Lenny blocked Blu's third attempted and used the power of the Orb to whack him away. He got back up and watched Blu land down on his talons while getting back up onto his talons too. "Clever. Any more black magic!?"

Blu charged towards Lenny and leaped into the air. He landed down next to him and attempted to hit him a few times.
The two macaws hit and blocked each others attacks-Blu using his gauntlets and Lenny used his scepter to hit and counter the other attacks. Eventually, Lenny raised his scepter into the air and attempted to hit Blu, who blocked it with both his gauntlets.
Blu pushed the scepter out of his way and struck Lenny twice in his stomach.
Lenny dodged Blu's next attack and kicked him into the stomach, knocking him to the ground before hitting him a couple of times in the face.

Blu groaned as Lenny gripped his throat with his talon and forced Blu onto his talons. To escape, Blu extended both of his wings and slapped them against his ears, causing him a ringing pain in his eardrums.
"Ohh!" Lenny groaned, using the Orb of Light to whack Blu away before holding onto one eardrum with his wing. "You will pay for that."
I've recognized them all
And one by one they've all become
A number as they fall (as they fall)
Lenny charged up the Orb of light yet again and slammed it to the ground, sending another shock wave through the ground. He chuckled while watching his powers approach Blu. "You cannot reach me."
Blu used his dash ability to leaped into the air to avoid the the shockwave. However, Lenny fired a beam into Blu, knocking him down onto his back and causing him to slide towards the edge of the pyramid roof.
In the face of reason
I can't take no more
One by one they've all become
A black mark on the floor
Blu leaped back up onto his talons and used both his dash ability and invisibility power to move quick and rapidly turn visible and invisible to confuse Lenny and get the upper advantage. He got closer and without hesitation, Blu struck Lenny once at a time by using his dash ability to move up and down rapidly.

Eventually, Lenny slammed the Orb of Light down onto the ground, using the shock wave power to blast Blu away from him at a safe distance. Lenny groaned as he prepared to finish this battle once and for all. "Is that all you can do, macaw?"

Blu leaped towards Lenny with his dash ability before leaping up into the air in the quick of an eye before striking down onto Lenny from above, tackling him down onto his back. He curled his wing like a fist and rapidly struck multiple onto Lenny's face. "I will end you for everything you have done!"

Eventually, Lenny blocked Blu's next attempt to hit him before using the Orb of Light to blast him away again. He cracked his neck to the side, ready for whatever next attacks Blu would attempt to do.
Lenny chuckled as he waved his wing back, beckoning for Blu to try again. "Come on!"

Blu leaped towards Lenny yet again only to be blown away when Lenny activated a giant light shield around himself, knocking Blu all the way to the edge of the roof before he had fallen off of the roof.
Blu managed to grip onto the edge of the roof just in the nick of time before summoning the strength to pull himself back up onto the rooftop where Lenny was patiently waited for him.
Lenny chuckled as he waited for Blu to get fully back up onto the roof while charging up the Orb of Light once again. "Are you ready for more?"
Blu merely grinned in response while raised up his wings out from his sides, answering to Lenny's question with a mocking expression. "I can take anything you throw at me, Lenny."

Before long, the two macaws charged directly at each other, both screaming out battle cries as they got closer to each with. Lenny whacked his Orb against Blu, who blocked it with both of his gauntlets. Due to Blu's gauntlets being unbreakable, the Orb of Light had created a chain reaction, blowing back of macaws away onto both sides of the rooftop.
And chapter is completed, ladies and gentleman. Blu and Lenny have battled to the death, but it is not over yet. The next chapter won't be here tomorrow because it's my birthday and I'm going out to celebrate. :D
