Rio the Darkness 5: Alternative Darkness

chloemcg: Thanks Chloe, and I looked up your new Rio story. I loved it. And you're right. Blu would do good if he did have the Orb of Light instead.

The present day, the blue macaw named Blu was still battling for his life against the evil King Lenny, who had been corrupted by the Orb of Light''s powers and was determined to kill Blu once and for all.
The two macaws charged towards each, both of them screaming out in anger and pain.
Blu managed to dodged the next two of Lenny's scepter swing attacks before using his dash ability to maneuver around Lenny while striking multiple strikes against his body.
King Lenny growled as he swung his scepter around, trying to hit Blu when he would get the chance. Finally, Lenny whacked Blu away with the power of the Orb of Light.
Blu landed flat down on his stomach followed by a painful thud, groaning as he tried to get back up onto his talons. "Uggg. He's tough..Oh man."
Lenny charged up the Orb and slammed it to the ground, sending another shock wave through the ground. He chuckled while watching his powers approach Blu. "You cannot beat me."
As the shockwave spread, Blu used the same trick again by using his dash ability to leap into the air in a quick flash, and before Lenny could act, Blu had leaped down onto him and knocked him to the ground on his back.
Blu curled his wing while using his right wing to keep Lenny down, and delivered a few strikes to the evil King's face. He rapidly continued to hit Lenny across his face. "I've lost everything because of you! I lost my friends, my family, my wife.! You will pay for what you have done!"
"Shut up!" Lenny screamed, punching Blu into his face with his wing before using the Orb's power to whack Blu away a few feet across the rooftop.
Blu leaned up as he watched Lenny activate a shield over his head to prevent Blu from attacking from above again. He got back up onto his talons before he waited for Lenny to make his next move.
"You can't defeat me, macaw." Lenny said, spinning his scepter around his wing like a sword. "You cannot match my power. Your black magic is nothing compared to mine."
While he was talking, Lenny charged up the Orb of Light and fired a beam towards Blu, who dodged it using his dash ability.
Without thinking, Blu used his invisibility power to disappear out of Lenny's sight and get the upper advantage of the evil King before he would figure out Blu's position.
Lenny listened carefully yet again for Blu's talon steps while activating multiple glowing fireballs around him, protecting him from Blu just in case he would get close and accidently touch one that would hurt him and expose his powers.
"Where are you, macaw?" Lenny talked quietly to himself, still listening carefully for Blu's talon steps. "I know you are here somewhere."
In a split-second, Lenny flipped around and fired a beam towards nowhere when he thought he had heard Blu sneaking up from behind him. Unfortunately for Lenny, he was struck directly into his face by Blu.
Lenny growled as he whacked by back with the Orb of Light before yelling out to him. "A few tricks left, I see. Too bad that will not help you for long."
Before Blu had the chance to attack again, Lenny blasted out a huge light from the Orb, sending out a blinding light like a flashbang that left Blu blind for a few seconds.
When Blu got his vision back, the first thing he saw coming towards him was a green figure, heading directly for him fast.
Lenny yelled out as he went down directly towards Blu with his scepter raised above his head.
He landed down in front of Blu before he struck multiple strikes against Blu, who blocked it just in time with his gauntlets.
In the quick of an eye, Lenny rapidly struck his scepter from against Blu, rapidly from the left and right, trying to break through Blu's defensives.
Blu, for once in a long time, was not afraid and rather, he stayed calm. He raised his wings in front of his face and rapidly blocked each of Lenny's attacks, keeping the military macaw from hitting him at all.
The two macaws continued to do the same thing for a few seconds: Blu blocking Lenny's attacks each time he tried to hit him, and Lenny continuing to strike against Blu, trying to push back his defenses.
Eventually, Lenny raised the scepter into the air and struck it down towards Blu, who blocked it with both his gauntlets once again. He growled as he tried to break through. "Give in...Macaw!"
Blu growled as he kept Lenny from breaking through his gauntlets. He pushed Lenny back a little while replying to his sentence with his own. "I will never give in! Never!"
As Blu was holding his own against Lenny, the evil King had a trick up his sleeve. Lenny whacked Blu in the face with his scepter before he lifted both of his talons up and pulled Blu's gauntlets off both of his wings with force.
Lenny headbutted Blu back a couple of feet before he threw the gauntlets off the rooftop, letting them plummet towards the ground.
Now that Blu was unable to protect himself from most attacks, Lenny assumed this was going to be over quite soon. "Now, you cannot protect yourself anymore, can you?"
"I don't need protection!" Blu countered, curling both of his wings together like fists, ready for whatever more attacks Lenny had planned for him soon.
Lenny laughed as he watched the Orb charge up some light, before he used his powers to create multiple illusions of himself all scattered the rooftop.
Blu panicked a little as all of the illusions of Lenny surrounded him before all of them struck multiple times against Blu, each of them hitting him with their scepters before he would have the chance to do anything.
Blu groaned as he tried to throw a couple of hits of his own, but there was too many of them and they each continued to take turns hitting him multiple times, causing him extreme pain.
Eventually, Blu collapsed onto the ground with a sickening thud, groaning in agonising pain as he tried to use his wings to get back up onto his talons, but the great pain he was feeling held him down. "Ohh...I can't...I can't..."
The multiple illusions of Lenny surrounded Blu in a circle as they continued to laugh evilly around him, driving Blu crazy and leaving him in pain, and causing him to start losing confidence that he might win.
What could Blu do now? He could he survive this battle? How could Blu defeat Lenny? After everything that has happened here, what would Blu down now? As the laughs of Lenny continued to echo through his eardrums, painful memories were suddenly shooting through his mind.
Blu placed both of his wings over his ears with his eyes closed, trying to drain out the sound of Lenny's laughs that were driving memories through his mind.
"BLU you're crazy, what are you doing?!" Jewel yelled, surprised and shocked about what he was doing that would make him jump after her like this.
"I'm not going to let you go! We're chained to each other birds remember?" Blu reminded her, staring into her beautiful eyes which may be for the last time ever as they were now falling to their possible end.
Vadin placed the Siphon end on top of Blu;s body, causing him to cringe in pain, and kneeled down to him. "Does it hurt, Blu? If you only accepted my offer, all of this could've been avoided." Vadin said, hearing Blu coughing in pain. "So Blu, I'm gonna give you another choice: Surrender and live, or die?"
"I will never bow down to you." Blu managed to cough out.
"Then you live me no choice." Vadin said, standing back up, and lifting the Siphon in the air, preparing to finally finish off what he had started. "Goodbye, Blu, it was nice knowing you."
"I had to!" the Angelus shouted, as she began to walk up and down. "My duty is to shine light across this World!"
"Your duty?! You don't care about the light in the darkness, you just wanna kill me!" Blu yelled.
"Yes! Of course! I have been fighting the Darkness for so many years!" the Angelus screamed.
"And you didn't stop to think about the one thing that me and Jewel have!" Blu said.
"What is that?" the Angelus asked.
"Love...It was love." Blu answered. "Those four special letters give me the courage, to do anything. That's why i resist: to save Jewel."
The Angelus smiled, with her eyes half closed, and placed her wings on her hips. "Love...hehe...such a stupid thing."
While he was distracted, Nexus took his chance and fire dark essence from his wings and knocked Blu a good 15-feet back. "Hahahah, foolish boy."
"Ugh, I'm not just a boy," Blu grunted while using his wings to get back up onto his talons, and as Nexus changed his body form back to normal. "I'm a Warrior."
Nexus merely chuckled in response and fired some dark essence beams at Blu. "You're nothing but a Blue Macaw!"
Blu dodged most of the dark essence beams and fired a lighting power at Nexus in an attempt to shock him. "Your words won't get me down, Nexus, I will destroy you and free Rio from your rule."
"Don't be too sure." Nexus said, as he magically created himself into a black mist and used Vadin's dash ability to dash around Blu. "Hahahaha!"
"No..." Blu said, leaning down onto the ground in sadness while a tear dropped down his face. "It can't...It can't be true."
"Oh, but it is, Blu." Ivan chuckled, while he gave a little signal for his men to move in. "I was there. I saw it all. Your father begged as Nexus slowly choked the life out of him."
Blu had been groaning each time all of those memories shot through his mind. He spoke quietly to himself as the laughs of Lenny continued while they all mocked him. "Stop it...Stop it...STOP IT!"
Finally losing his breaking break, Blu screamed out to Lenny as he lifted his wings up and slammed them into the ground, sending a shock wave from his power, knocking all away all of the illusions of King Lenny. "THAT'S ENOUGH!"
The many illusions of Lenny disappeared. The real Lenny however, had collapsed onto his back and had dropped the scepter out from his wing.
Lenny managed to get back up onto his talons, shocked about Blu's power and how he was able to do that. He looked around for his scepter, panicking that he was defenseless without it. "No! The scepter!"
Lenny found his scepter and was about to run over and get it before he was shoved away by Blu, who had snuck up on him using his invisibility power.
Blu went visible again with a very angry and determined face. He slowly approached Lenny, who got back up onto his talons for a second time.
Lenny grunted as he placed his wings onto his crown and threw it away off of the rooftop. Although he had no Orb, he was still willing to battle until the death. "You just can't get it through your thick skull, can you?! I am undefeatable! I can't die! I will NEVER DIE!"
"Give up! You have lost, Lenny!" Blu shouted, finally getting close to Lenny, who attempted to hit Blu in the face. Blu countered his attack before hitting him in the fact to knock him off of his concentration.
For one last attempt to end this, Blu curled his wings like fists and began a series of quick, focused attacks once again. He rapidly hit Lenny in his stomach, chest, and fact at the same time, rapidly hitting him until Lenny would eventually give up.
Blu eventually saw Lenny was on the verge on passing out so he decided to slow down. However, Blu was not done with him yet.
The blue macaw flew up into the air, gaining a bit of altitude before he used his dash ability to gain speed back down to the roof. As he approached the rooftop, Blu landed directly onto the roof while using his shock wave power that was so powerful, it broke the entire roof, sending both macaws directly down towards the next level down.
Blu was too weak to fly after using those powers too many times, and Lenny was too weak to fly after the beating he had just took from Blu not too long ago.
The two macaws moved down to the very first floor and landed down with a sickening and painful thud. Both of them laid motionless on the ground on different sides while the Orb of Light (that had came down with them) merely stopped in the middle of the ground.
King Lenny regained his strength for a few seconds before using both of his wings to crawl his way over to the Orb of Light. He groaned as he got closer to the Orb. "The Orb of Light...I have to get...The Orb...Of Light..."
Lenny eventually made it towards the Orb of Light where he saw Blu laying down next to it too. He extended his wing and touched the Orb of Light. "I will...Not loose...my Orb..."
As Lenny touched the Orb, Blu had extended his wing and he too touched the Orb too.
When the two macaws both touched the Orb of Light, it glowed even more, blinding both of the macaws in their eyes. The Orb of Light sent a huge bright shock wave throughout the entire room they were in, just like when they had touched it back in the real world.
The last thing Blu saw was the Orb glowing in his feathery blue wing before he passed out from lack of energy, leaving him in nothing but darkness.
The final battle is over, ladies and gentleman. Blu and Lenny had fought to the death and now they are both weak. What could happen next? Stay tuned for the next chapter.
