chloemcg: Who will win, you ask? Only one way to find out. And I look forward to the rest of your new story. And thanks.
The last thing Blu remembered was him and Lenny touching the Orb of Light together before he fell into complete darkness. A flash of light shined throughout an small open area in the Jungle of Rio de Janeiro during a quiet, peaceful morning.
After the light had disappeared, a blue macaw and a military macaw stood together in the middle of an open area, both panting a little like they had been exercising. While Lenny was recovering, Blu began studying his surroundings and to his surprise, he was home! Blu was back in the exact same area at the exact same time where it all first started.
Blu immediately assumed that when he and Lenny touched the Orb again, it must have sent them back to the real world where it all first started. Where the alternative world first began.
"I'm home!" Blu enthusiastically said, happy that he was back home safe and sound. "I'm home!"
Before long, Blu turned around where he saw Lenny holding the Orb of Light in his wings. Blu was about to attack-despite not having his powers anymore-but Lenny acted first.
The military macaw Captain handed the Orb into both of Blu's wings, finally becoming free of it's power, and now he wanted nothing to do with it anymore. "Take it...Take it, Blu. I do not want it!"
Blu examined the Orb of Light in his wings while he watched Lenny extend out his wings from his sides before hovering into the air, preparing to travel back to the military macaw. Blu called him back before he would leave in such a hurry. "Lenny, wait! What should I do with this thing?"
"Burry it...Drop it in the ocean-I don't care." Lenny replied, flying away through the sky in haste to escape as soon as possible, hoping to recover after everything that has happened today. He yelled out one last thing for Blu before leaving the area. "Just keep it out of Rio, Blu!"
Blu watched the military macaw fly away into the distance until he was out of his sight completely. He looked down towards the Orb of Light and had to get rid of it permanently before it would cause any more havoc like it has today.
But first, Blu had just realized something very, very important: his family. He gasped as he hid the Orb of Light in a bush under some leafs before he quickly departed into the air, flapping as hard as his wings would carry him. "Jewel!"
After a little flight through the Jungle of Rio de Janeiro, Blu finally made it back to his tree hollow, panting a little when he landed his talons down inside. He immediately raised a huge smile on his beak when he saw his beloved wife sitting in the nest while rocking little Jessica in her wings.
Jewel looked up to see her husband and smiled a little. "Morning, honey."
"JEWEL!" Blu screamed, never being more happier in his life to see the one he loved more than anything in the world. He ran over to her before sitting down in the nest and moving both of his wings around her, hugging her close to him with his eyes closed. "Oh, Jewel, I missed you so much."
Jewel did not understand why Blu was like this, but nethertheless, she giggled in delight and rested her head down on Blu's chest. "Miss me? Blu, you were only gone for around half-hour."
Blu smiled as he playfully nuzzled her head. He knew full fact that nothing had changed back in this world due to the fact it had been a couple of weeks back in the other world. He replied to his wife in a happy and calm voice. "It was the longest half-hour of my life, Jewel. I missed you all so much."
Jewel merely smiled at her might as she leaned her head up and pecked Blu on the side of his cheek. She quietly thought to herself while enjoying the warmth of Blu's wings. "I don't know what's got into him. He's acting like he has not seen my in weeks. I suppose he's just being a clumsy bird as usual."
Before long, Blu slowly moved his wings from around Jewel and took Jessica into his wings and slowly rocked side to side while smiling on his beak. "I love you Jessica. You're my little angel. I promise to take care of ALL of you."
Jewel merely smiled at her might while laying herself down against him, snuggling in his feathery body.
While Jewel and the kids were resting, Blu had just realized something: he did it. He accomplished what he thought he could never do. Blu defeated King Lenny and restored order throughout Rio and put everything the way it should be: peaceful.
The following day, the blue macaw family had decided to take a short trip out together in the Jungle with a couple of other birds. Blu and Jewel sat on a tree branch together while Rey, Azul, and Crystal were playing together with the toucan kids. Rafael and Eva were now too, and Eva was currently rocking Jessica in her wings to get to know the little chick better.
Jewel was looking at Blu all curiously. Before he would normally be watching his kids 24/7, but he seemed calm and watched them have fun. "Blu, are you okay? You usually are overprotective of the kids?"
"Let's just say I learned to loosen-up a little." Blu answered, placing his wing over Jewel with a smile on his beak. While in the alternative world, Blu had learned to loosen-up a little with his friends and family. He learned not to be so overprotective all the time too.
Jewel was actually happy that Blu had learned to be less overprotective of their children and was letting them have fun. She smiled and moved both of her wings around his neck. "So, I see my lovehawk has changed a little."
"Yep. He's a whole new bird now." Blu replied, moving his wings around Jewel's back with a smile on his beak. "Now, m'lady. If Rafael and Eva agree, how could you like for this gentleman to take you out on a date?"
"Hmmm." Jewel hummed, tapping under her chin with a single wingtip as part of the play-acting she and Blu were currently doing. She answered to his request with a grin on her beak. "Well, it has been a little while since we been on a date together. I'm sure I can agree to those terms, Blu."
"Excellent to hear, beautiful." Blu smiled, as the two birds shared a quick kiss with each other before turning their attention back to the children below.
Jewel decided to lay her head down onto Blu's shoulder to rest for a couple of minutes. She sighed while quietly thinking to herself thoughts about her husband. "Hmmm, he is certainly turning into a gentleman alright. He's less protective, being kind to me, and has offered to take me out for the night. Wow, I don't know what's happened to him, but I like it."
Evening time had arrived throughout Rio and it was time for two certain blue macaws to go out on a date together. Blu and Jewel had just finished making sure Rafael was okay with watching the children at their tree hollow on his own before they left to go on their date.
Blu had already picked the perfect place to go, but did not tell Jewel so it was going to be a surprise for her. She kept asking where they were going, but Blu kept it a secret until they were there.
Finally, Blu and Jewel made it where they wanted to go and landed down towards the ground.
Blu moved behind Jewel and placed both of his wings over Jewel's eyes to prevent her from seeing anything. "Okay, Jewel, almost there."
"Can I look now, please?" Jewel inquired, wanting to see to finally see where Blu was taking them.
"You can now." Blu smiled, moving both of his wings from over her eyes and revealing to her the place they have taken them to. "Ta-da!"
Jewel gasped a little in excitement when she saw the place Blu had taken her too. It was the Vista Chinesa-the place where Blu and Jewel rested when they first met after they had escaped the smugglers' den. "Blu, this is where we first slept when we met."
"Indeed it is, Jewel." Blu smiled, looking over at the monument where they have not been to ever since they first.
Jewel smiled as she playfully nudged Blu and reminded him something for their first adventure together. "Hey, Blu. Remember when we were here, chained together, and I complained because I had to drag your clumsy butt up there?"
"Yep. I remember, Jewel." Blu answered, smiling as he placed a wing over her to keep her comfortable. "But it was me dragging your butt instead."
Jewel giggled in response and planted a kiss on the side of Blu's beak.
Blu smiled as he flew into the air a little, seconds later, he was joined by Jewel. He kindly asked her if she would care to join him on the Vista Chinesa. "Jewel, would you care to join me up there, Jewel?"
"I would be more than happy to, Blu." Jewel agreed, smiling as they both flew up towards the monument wooden tower.
The two blue macaw lovebirds landed down inside of the Vista Chinesa. Before doing anything else, Blu had secretly picked up a flower in his talon and offered it for Jewel to wear on the side of her head. "Here you go, Jewel."
Jewel smiled in response as she gratefully accepted the flower into her talon. She used her beak to rip off the vine part before placing the flower onto her head. "How do I look, Blu?"
"You look beautiful." Blu complemented, while holding out his right wing out to Jewel, hoping for a dance off of her soon. "Would you care to dance with me, Jewel?"
"I thought you would never ask, lovehawk." Jewel smiled, accepting his wing with her own, ready to dance together with him. "Let's dance."
Blu gently held Jewel's wing and slowly spun her around in circles together. The two lovebirds danced around in circles together, constantly letting go and taking each other's wing.
Blu decided to sing a little as he spun her around in circles. "#I wanna party, I wanna samba, I wanna party, I wanna samba, I wanna party...#"
Jewel decided to sing along with the song too while they at it. She smiled and sang perfect with her beautiful vocal voice. "And live my life...I wanna party..."
The two lovebirds sang the exact same line together as they moved their wings around each others for a hug. "And fly..."
"I love you, Blu." Jewel said, hugging her husband in her beautiful light blue wings.
"I love you too, Jewel." Blu said, hugging his wife close to him in his feathery dark blue wings.
The following night, Blu and Jewel had returned to their tree hollow after their beautiful and wonderful date together at the Vista Chinesa. In the blue macaw family tree hollow, Blu was sitting in the middle of his nest with Jewel combined with him, who was sleeping peacefully in his wings. She was holding onto all of her children in her wings as they snugged against her stomach.
Blu smiled as he watched them sleeping peacefully. He was so grateful to see them again, and promising that he would never leave them again (even though nothing has even happened in the normal world).
Blu closed his eyes as he rested his head on Jewel's head and quietly whispered to word to himself before slipping off into a peaceful sleep. "I'm home."
Well, everyone. It's all over. Blu and Lenny are home, and the madness has finally ended. Blu is back with his family, and life will forever be peaceful the blue macaws...Stay tuned for the next chapter.
