A/N: Hey Guys! Sorry for the late update! I was doing...some...research...and it was holiday for two weeks, some readers do know that I don't get a chance to update in holidays because "My brain is shut down" in those because of the tight schedules. (I know, it might be a lame excuse but it's true)

Anyways, let's get into the story.

Chapter 16: What?!

"Dear Ra? My lover? But isn't Ra too powerful and high up the sky?" Yugi said as he was still sitting at the exact position he was yesterday

while Malik was just there rolling on the floor laughing his head off. Isis having a big red vain popping on her head, animatedly.

"Yugi, that's not what I meant." She said while rolling the still laughing out loud Malik out of her Healing Chambers, he wasn't helping her,

In fact, he was making it worse because he woke the other patients up.

" Shut up Malik and Calm down! You will never come back in this chambers until you can control yourself! GOT THAT?!" She said and slammed the door

which earned her a scared expression from the patients sitting from their medical beds.

Isis turned around and suddenly smiled brightly which made them shiver down their spine.

What just happened?

Yugi just blinked innocently then leap out of his position and went to the door "Yugi, where do you think you're going?" Isis asked.

"I-I'm going to where the Pharaoh and Prince Yami is right now, Priestess Isis." Yugi replied, not looking at her directly, he hasn't forgotten about the rules and regulations here.

He could still be punished.

Mahado followed him, WHERE DID HE CAME FROM?!

-In the Hallway-

So Yugi just noticed Mahado was following him wherever he goes, except when he is with the others, he would just pop out of nowhere and say "Let's go Yugi."

But this time, he was as quiet as Batman's spy mode in the night, except it's daylight... What am I saying?

Anyways, he found out that the Nameless Phar—I mean Atem, was in the Throne room.

So he, and Mahado, went to the direction of the Throne room. "Hey, High Preist Mahado."

"Hm?"

"Why are you so quiet?"

"I don't feel like repeating three words again and again." Yugi was about to say something when he immediately said "No, it's not "I love you"."

"Oh,"

"Why did you ask?"

"You remind me of my friend Batboy."

"Batboy? Who in the name of Obelisk would name their son like that?"

"Oh, remember my thing?"

"Yeah. What about that?"

"Well, we we're both born in the same year, me being older than him for a month. He was my only friend back then before papa and uncle.

He turns into a bat at night and was sooooo quiet. You see, he reached his fourth stage very quickly. I keep an eye on him, making sure he was alright."

"What happened to him?"

"He...He was killed."

"..."

Yugi sniffed, remembering the horrible death of his best friend.

"I'm sorry."

"it's okay."

Then they accidently bump into the door of the Throne Room. "Oops." Yugi said as he stepped back. He saw the guards helping High Priest Mahado to stand up.

They saw them coming, but didn't expect them not looking on where they were going and stupidly bump into the door.

They didn't want to disrespect the High Priest, so they just helped out and not complain.

Best to shut your mouth for a sec.

"Umm, High Priest Mahado. Aren't you supposed to be inside the Throne room right now?" One of the Guards said.

" What do you mean?" He asked

"Their is a trial coming in right about this hour." Another guard said.

" Oh right! Please call High Priestess Isis from the Healing Chambers, we also need her."

"Yes sir!"

Yugi was so confused as to what the hell was happening." Maha—High Priest, what is going on?"

"You, Yugi, will go inside the Throne Room with me. I'll make up an excuse, just go sit down wherever the Pharaoh wants you to sit, okay?" Mahado said as he Pushed the door open, pulling Yugi softly and stood their on the spot.

"High Priest Mahado,Yugi, why are you late?" Seto said.

" High Priest Seto, it is alright." The Nam—Atem said. Ugh, gotta remember that...

"My apologies Pharaoh. We have some—other important things to do." He said as Yugi went his way to where the Pharaoh was sitting.

"And what is more important than a trial, High Priest Mahado?" High Priest Aknadin said, Isis coming in panting after.

"My Appologies Pharaoh,I—"

"It is quite alright, High Priestess. I know you are only doing your job as a Medic." The Pharaoh said, after he whispered For Yugi to sit down on the pillow lying on the ground front-left side of the throne.

"We shall begin the trial."

"Bring the Prisoner in!" High Priest Shada ordered. The order was repeated by one guard. The main door was opened revealing a prisoner being hold by two guards, and went a few meters away from the stairs from the throne.

"Since this is our 10th time having a trial with the new Pharaoh, we shall once again do the examination." High Priest Karim said.

Then they did the trial.

For Yugi, it felt a bit scary at first, but when the minutes pass by like horses running on the field, He got amazed by the true powers of those look-so-fancy-but-useless millenium items that he thought was worthless wearing.

What? Who wouldn't?

At last, the trial had ended. It was quite scary at first, you know, the we-will-examine-you-like-an-alien-who's-enemies-with-the-three-Gods-of-Egypt kind of a way.

It's creepy, but it protects the kingdom from being attacked by low statused thieves and murderers.

The guards brought the prisoner back to the prisons and the High Priests/Preistess bid their goodbye to the Pharaoh before they went to where they're heading off next.

"Pharaoh, shouldn't you say something to Prince Yami?" Asked Yugu as they walked back to the Pharaoh's chamber.

"What do you mean, little one?" The Pharaoh asked.

"Umm, not to be rude or anything but—" Yugi was cut off by a loud shriek from a chamber down the hall. They both went to where it came from and saw Yami being surrounded by a lot of princesses

'So now it's Prince Yami?' Yugi thought as they tried to break Yami free from the crowd.

The crowd began to complain about things like 'I want to marry him' to 'I want information about the Pharaoh!'

Wait, what?

The Pharaoh got annoyed to them and did the only thing to make the crowd stop.

And make Yami blush

And Yugi smiled

He kneeled.

Hey! Very sorry for month delay, and no, I didn give up on the story. I was really tight with my schedules and I had to attend a lot of places, I was also, for the sake of the story, looking for the rough copies of it from my notebook(s).

This chapter and the chapter before(15 & 16) are only an OVA of this, meaning it's an extra chapter just for fun so yeah, but the last sentence of this chapter means we will continue onto the original plot of the story.
