Chapter 5: Ben 10 Minus One
"This… could be problematic." Ben thought as he walked down the Plumber hallways. According to a report he was handed by Molly Gunther, Michael Morningstar – better known as Darkstar – was spotted in Bellwood. While the idea that any of his regular villains causing problems now of all times was annoying, the eye witness reported him with a strange, silver-haired man in armour and a greatsword. If this guy was a Servant, then they were in for some trouble. But first they had to make sure it wasn't just some villain in costume. But what was worse was that someone matching Hex's appearance was seen close by too. And he also had some guy aiding him. These two, both possibly with Servants… Yikes. He'd better check with Rin and Arturia about this at some point, see if they knew anything. As he walked down the hall, he noted that any Plumber agents he passed made care not to look at his face. He supposed they had a point. Even with a mask covering his eyes, he wouldn't want to look Medusa in the face either. But it kept giving him a feeling they were more interested in his… feminine physique. It was really off-putting. Before long he found himself alone in the hallway, with everyone gone to their respective missions. Grandpa Max had assigned Ben's team to the Holy Grail War, to find a way to stop it from getting out of hand. As he reached a halfway point, his nerves kicked into overdrive at the sound of running feet. He put the report away and grabbed hold of his chain daggers, ready for anything. The steps got closer, and louder, with every second. His instincts were on fire. What was coming for him?
He was about to throw his dagger when Julie came round the corner, panting slightly from the running. Ben immediately hid the blades, and tried to look inconspicuous. "Ben? Is that really you?" She asked, looking at him strangely. Wait, she knew?
"Uh… Did… Did Gwen and Kevin tell you about this?" He stuttered. This was really weird. He was pretty sure the ex-boyfriend wasn't supposed to look sexier than his ex-girlfriend.
"Yeah. I was a bit worried about you when you vanished from the news. Now I guess I can see why." She stepped closer to him, blushing slightly.
"Yeah. I… I can totally see Harangue saying I'm 'corrupting the children' or something like that. Hey just out of curiosity, does Herv know you're here?"
"He… not really. I thought he might get jealous if I went to see my ex. Even if he's now a she." Their conversation was interrupted by Ben's phone ringing. He pulled it from between his breasts – the only place he could really keep it in this form – and answered it.
"Ben? Are you ok? I was getting a bit worried when you weren't on the news anymore." Ben froze. That voice… It can't be. That was impossible. There was no way that could…
"Julie?" That was all he could say before he felt a dagger in his back. He gasped and dropped the phone, dodging away and feeling the blade tear out of his back. Yelling in pain, he tried to pull his daggers out in time to help. But the other Julie rushed him, slashing at him with the daggers. Ben tried to keep up, but his breasts and the narrow hallway got in his way. He yelled again and again as the imposter made more cuts. "Breaker Gor…" He screamed as the dagger sliced through the covering on his eyes. He felt tears run down his cheeks, and flailed wildly with the daggers. Unable to see, he felt his chains get wrapped around him as three daggers pierced his chest. He could only gasp in shock, before falling to the ground.
And then there was nothing.
"Ok, so if I've got this right then I can command Ben to leave Mad Enhancement without even having to waste a Command Seal, right?" Gwen asked Rin. The older lady nodded at that. "But when he's a Berserker Class, that's usually his greatest strength."
"Not always." Rin replied. "It just means that it was the only position available that best suits the Heroic Spirit. Some Masters even use the summons to force their Servant into a class, even if it would be better as something else. I read that Hercules had a Noble Phantasm called Nine Lives that allowed him to attack a single opponent multiple times. He used it against the Hydra. It was originally a bow, but after he won against the Hydra he was able to use it with any weapon. But when he's a Berserker, he doesn't have the motor skills to use it properly." Her explanation was interrupted by Gwen's phone ringing. She was surprised to see it was Julie on the line.
"Gwen? Something's happened to Ben." Julie said quickly, sounding hysterical. "I called him to wonder whether he was ok, and a woman answered instead. She said my name and then screamed. The call was cut after that."
"What?" Gwen asked, worried. Her Command Seals stung her, heating up as a series of marks appeared above it. There were ten of them, and one mark faded away. A glow formed next to her and Ben stepped out of it just in time to fall to the ground. As the others checked on him, she sighed in relief. "He's ok Julie. At least, I think he is. He's right next to me at least." She pushed on his shoulder, causing him to groan. At least he was back to his normal form. "Ben? What happened? Julie's worried about you."
"Julie?" Ben groaned. "Uh. Tell her someone was pretending to be her to get close to me." Gwen explained that before telling her they 'needed to talk to Ben'. "I was minding my own business when she came down the hall to me. When the real Julie called me, she stabbed me in the back before slashing at my eyes and trapping me with my own chains. But how did I get back here?"
"You must've been summoned back to your Master's side when you died." Rin said aloud. "But if you were beaten as Rider so easily, then that means…" She gasped. "The Assassin Class. It's in the building."
Ben looked at her for only a second before rushing to an alarm. As he pushed it, doors started closing heavily while loud sirens filled the room.
She just hoped they weren't too late.
Raven watched from across the street as the plumbing store suddenly locked its doors to everyone. Her trained eyes spotted security cameras and small guns opening up, peeking out discreetly for anyone suspicious. She threw the wrapping from her burger into the bin before walking off. If Assassin succeeded, then there was no point sticking around. And if he hadn't, they'll have to try another day.
She had barely fastened her seatbelt before Assassin appeared in the back of her car.
"How'd we do?" she asked, keeping an eye on the traffic. Rush hour was busy right now.
"The job is complete. Veni, vedi, veci and all that." Assassin said as he settled into the seat. At least he wasn't wearing a toga or armour at the moment. "Thought I did run into some complications."
"Oh? Like what?"
"The girl I was impersonating turned out to be alive even now. And yet the Servant was clearly Medusa, even if she was from before my time. And there was a strange symbol on her chest. A dial with an hourglass in the centre."
"…Well damn." She muttered. "Looks like our Servant was the Great Ben 10. That's gonna fuck things up around here."
"All heroes die eventually."
"Yeah, but I just had a thought. He got his title because thanks to that watch of his he can turn into different forms. Originally he had ten of them, but now he's got dozens. If he has that watch while he's a Heroic Spirit that's clearly not him, then maybe he can turn into them."
"That would be… troubling. If he can turn into other Servants then we'll have to assume he survived my attack."
"It's just a thought. Still, you don't last long if you don't plan for the unexpected. If we see Ben 10's still around, then we'll have to come up with something else."
"Agreed. We have to win. Maybe if we let it slip on another Servant's location."
Raven smiled. That would work. Whittle down the competition. Weaken heroes.
And then go in for the kill.
"I might have a potential lead." Magister Patelliday said, bringing up a screen for them. They had searched the base top to bottom and didn't find any sign of Assassin. They found Ben's death scene, but nothing else. "According to our security cameras, this lady right here was watching the entrance to our base not long before your… demise. And she left just after we went into lockdown." The screen showed a dark-haired, pretty lady leaning against a wall and eating a burger. It was clear that she was good to avoid making it obvious she was watching. But they were better. "According to our database, she's a Mrs Samantha Venice. Came in with her husband Mr Augustus Venice for their honeymoon."
"I recognise her." Rin said. "Her real name is Raven Firecinder. She's an assassin for hire that utilises magic for her attacks. As befitting her family name, she's an expert on fire magic." Grandpa Max and Patelliday looked at each other.
"Does her targets usually burst into flame for no known reason?"
"Yeah." Rin realised the implications. "You know about one of her targets, don't you?"
Grandpa nodded. "Prince Gyula, King of Zarkovia after we arrested King Victor. A few days ago he died from spontaneous combustion while at a rally. No one could figure out why that happened."
"It was probably what she was hired for. She's a professional. I don't think she lets grudges hold her back. But could she really be the Master of Assassin?"
"Makes sense to me." Kevin said. "She's an assassin, we're looking for an Assassin hero. We should go and pound her."
"Just because she's an assassin doesn't mean she's involved. She might be here for something unrelated to the Holy Grail War."
"And my Master before Shirou was also an assassin for hire." Saber said. Ben trusted her enough to let her wander about now. "Kiritsugu Emiya did want the Assassin class, he had to make do with me."
"Yeah." Shirou agreed. "And if she is the Master of Assassin, then you guys might have some trouble. Servants are a lot tougher than they were originally in life."
"Well no matter what, we have to stop her." Ben said firmly. "According to the Omnitrix, I can still turn into Servants. I'll go and confront her while you guys figure out what those marks mean."
"Didn't you already get killed by her?" Kevin asked. Ben glared at him.
"I was unprepared. This time I'll end up doing better. And I'm far too public to just disappear."
"If you want to catch Ms Firecinder before she runs off, you're probably going to have to go incognito." Patelliday said, pointing to a scream showing a large crowd outside the Plumber headquarters. And at the head of it, same as always, was Will Harangue himself. In all his alien glory. He was talking about whether Ben really cared about the murders happening lately in Bellwood, and even whether he was secretly a 'Nazi Sympathiser himself.
This was going to take a while.
"Mrs Venice? A suspect?" The receptionist scratched his head in confusion. "Geez, I never really suspected. I just thought they were ordinary folks. Are you really sure about her?"
"We're not really sure of anything at the moment." Ben lied. "This is just to cross her off our list. Hopefully we'll know more in a couple of days." The receptionist still looked confused, but he handed over the keys as asked. While Ben was in the elevator up to Raven Firecinder's room, he immediately started going through his list of Servants. If she really was the Master of Assassin, then he needed to be prepared. He needed something good at close range and heavily armoured.
Good thing Mordred was still available.
To his annoyance, his 'normal' look was still the rather skimpy attire he appeared with on the first night. At least it wasn't as bad as the other Saber. He stalked on down the hallway, trying his best to look like he belonged in this hotel (even though the price range was more within Billion's area). When he reached the door he was looking for, he quickly and stealthily unlocked it, inching it open slowly. Once he was able to squeeze in, he materialised his armour as he closed the door behind him. He held his sword at the ready, tense for any possible attacks.
And there was nothing. She was out for now.
Ben stepped lightly into the room. Well, as lightly as he could in platemail. He scanned the whole place, but there didn't seem to be any traps waiting for him. His instincts weren't telling him anything. Relaxing a bit, Ben got to work looking through the place for any evidence. What he was looking for, he didn't really know. A spellbook on how to summon a Heroic Spirit? A list of things she'll wish for from the Holy Grail? Personal luggage addressed to 'Assassin'? He was sorting through her luggage – and having to paw through her underwear – when his phone started ringing. He stared at it, remembering what happened the last time he got a call while dealing with Assassin. He grabbed it in one hand, holding onto his sword in the other, and answered it.
"Hey kid." An unknown woman's voice said. "Didn't your mum teach you not to go through a girl's unmentionables? Or do you see it as another girl going through my stuff?" He tensed, instincts roaring. "I think my stuff's a bit big for you."
"I don't like having assassins in my town." Ben growled back, turning on the spot to try and see her. If she knew all this, then she must be able to see into the room. "Especially when they pretend to be my friends and try to kill me."
"I'm upset that Assassin failed. I get why now, but it's still against my professionalism. But hey, good job surviving this war so far. But the game's just starting. Also, you can stop spinning around like that. You look stupid, and it's making me dizzy." Ben stopped turning, but kept his blade ready. "Look, I'll be honest with you. You're not really someone I want to tangle with if I can avoid it. Too many people have tried and failed. So how about we cut a deal? I know where Caster's hiding. She's staying in an abandoned meat works. You go and deal with her, I'll go after someone else, and maybe if I'm lucky someone else will take you out of the game. So how about it? You in?"
"…No. You'll have to kill me anyway, so if I survive you'll try your luck again. And anyone willing to unleash pure evil is my enemy."
The voice sighed. "A shame. In that case, don't take this personally. Oh, and for the record that's not actually my luggage." Ben was distracted by a quick beeping noise that filled the room. He turned to see a flashing light behind a picture, flashing faster and faster. Ben moved to run, but the frame exploded with impressive force. He was thrown out the window, smashing through the balcony before beginning the 17 story fall to the ground below.
This was why he missed having flyers.
"Mistress Ravensquire." Old George said, knocking on the door. "I believe we should investigate the murders happening in town." There was no answer. He placed his ear to the door and could hear the sound of music playing on the other side. He knocked louder than before. "Mistress Ravensquire." Still no answer. He sighed, reminiscing about how children had changed since his time. When he was young his father got so annoyed with him being too busy playing music that he shattered his lyre. He opened the door, catching a blast of noise as he did so. "Mistress Ravensquire, we need to…" He stopped, shocked by what he saw.
The room, once personal chambers for the Forever King, the highest ranked position of the Forever Knights after they reformed from the Order of Infinite, was completely covered in Ben 10 memorabilia. There were plush dolls and action figures on every stand, while the bed was covered in a Ben 10 bedspread. A Ben 10 rug sat underneath a cardboard cut-out of Ben 10, while the room was alit with Ben 10 lamps. And the posters. Every wall was covered in Ben 10 posters. Of him in his human form, or him as his changeling forms, of him fighting all kinds of battles. And in the centre of it all was his mistress. Wearing only what appeared to be Ben 10 undergarments and playing a (most likely) Ben 10 guitar. She twisted around and shook her behind in time with the music, pretending to strum along with it and singing badly along to the lyrics. Now that he could partly hear them, they were all about how great Ben 10 was.
He saved the world from Diagon and the best he got was someone offering to trim his beard.
She twirled around to face him and finally opened her eyes, seeing him standing there in shock. She paled considerably, before trying her best to cover herself with her guitar. As he frowned at her, she stumbled over to a remote and stopped the music, the room now echoing with silence.
"You stand in the halls of the Forever Knights, and order I founded to defend mankind from evil beyond the stars that seek to destroy us." He said, his voice tight with fury. "You stand in the very quarters of the Forever King, the highest rank possible in the Forever Knights. And you demean all of our accomplishments by decorating the entire room with items meant to bring glory to a changeling while dancing in obscene undergarments in his name. This is the worst insult I have ever seen in these once grand halls. And where did you even get all this stuff?"
"I know a guy… who knows a guy… who knows a few guys… that sell this stuff." She said quietly, trying to grab her clothes to cover herself with. "And Ben's… he's a really big hero. He's… carrying on your legacy, right? He's doing good."
"Ben Tennyson allows aliens on our planet. And he's inviting all the criminals as well. A decade ago, the most shopkeepers had to worry about was a man with a pistol. Now, they have to worry about people trying to destroy the entire city." He sighed, rubbing his eyes. "Get dressed. We're going to investigate the murders happening recently."
"Ooh." She squealed. She coughed in an embarrassed way as he stared at her. "I mean, not because of the murders. That's bad. But we'll be helping Ben 10. This is so cool." She snuck behind one of the wardrobe doors, giving George a moment of respite. She was almost impossible. Bad enough she loved Tennyson with such passion, but she was determined to emulate him even though she didn't have any skills. At this rate she was going to get herself killed. "Ok, I'm ready. What do you think?" He turned to see her dressed in… Well, the only thing he could think of was a superhero costume. It was a mixture of green and black, with an Omnitrix dial stitched onto the front. A hooded cape adorned her along with a green eye mask, the cape dangling down to the ground. "Look out world, here comes Omni Gal." She struck a heroic pose, but ended up tripping over her cape. She smiled sheepishly at him from under her hood.
This was not going to end well.
"Dammit, dammit, dammit, dammit!" Ben yelled as he went plummeting. He wasn't sure how much stronger a Servant was than a person, but he was pretty sure even they wouldn't survive a fall from this height. At least, not someone as fragile as this. Maybe a bigger form would be ok. He flicked through the Omnitrix, aware that the ground was getting closer and closer with every second. He was about to hit the building below when he finally found the Berserker from the Techadon fight. He slammed on it just as he collided with the roof, dust billowing everywhere as the ground shook.
Just because it wasn't personal didn't mean Raven couldn't enjoy seeing her work in action.
"Alright Assassin, did it work properly?" She said into a radio. Since the Command Seals didn't really allow her to communicate with him, she had to make do.
"It should work. Even a Servant can't survive a fall like that without injury. The smoke is clearing a bit and… Aw shit." A loud roar echoed through the air as Assassin jumped out of the building. Raven already had the car ready when a giant smashed through the front of it. She remembered seeing him on the news. That thing took out a couple of alien killer robots.
"So who's your friend?" She asked as she roared out of there, the giant missing them by an inch. He settled for throwing a few other things at them, forcing her to swerve. "I'm guessing from your tone you knew him."
"Not personally, but you don't live in Ancient Rome without learning what Hercules looked like. We had his murals everywhere back then." He ran after them, but luckily her car was faster than even the great Hercules. He got smaller and smaller with every second.
"I thought he was Greek."
"And now you know why we 'borrowed' him. But the biggest problem is that he has a Noble Phantasm known as God Hand. With it, he has to die a total of 12 times. Once for every sin that required a labour to absolve."
"So not only do we need to kill Tennyson more than once, but we need to kill that form alone 12 times. Maybe we should lure one of his bigger enemies after him, and let them soak up the pain." She frowned as she heard a droning sound getting louder and louder. She looked in her rear-view mirror in time to see something big and black racing after them. It was a tall, four wheeled armoured vehicle with a large cannon on the back. It appeared to be covered in black armour and red veins. And standing on top of it was a knight in twisted black armour. As soon as he spotted them, he started roaring like a monster.
"Well that can't be good." She said as she swerved around the other cars. She barely managed to make it around a corner before there was an explosion behind them. It was far greater than she expected, causing the car to actually lift off the ground for a few seconds. When the tank came round the corner, it actually started driving on the wall before returning to the road. "You got anything against that?"
"My skills aren't that useful against a Berserker. Especially if it's on a rampage." He looked embarrassed at that.
"I see. Well in that case, take the wheel for me." He grabbed it as she leaned out the window, pulling herself up until she was sitting on the frame. She pulled her spyglass out and aimed, quivering slightly from Tennyson's rage filled gaze. "Bang." She said, activating her Mystic Code. The front of the tank exploded with fire, but it didn't even slow him down. She aimed the next one at a passenger car. "Bang." The explosion was enough to actually throw the car at Berserker, but he caught it in hand and tossed it aside. So she kept doing it. When they passed a fire hydrant, she exploded that too. She thought they were in the clear when Tennyson appeared again, now with panels open on the side. A dozen missiles fired out, following them with ease. But Assassin was very skilled at driving. He managed to lose them by taking a turn down an alleyway before twisting to go under them. She was about to sigh in relief when she saw the missiles turn 180 and chasing them again. She got out her spyglass again and blew a few up. But while she was busy with that, Tennyson got behind her again. Now he was almost within reach, trying to grab their car. This was it. She had nothing left.
Until a giant thing slammed on top of his tank.
It was so sudden she didn't even get a good look at who – or what – it was. All she cared about was that it got Tennyson off their tail. She sighed as Assassin started slowing down and acting more normal.
"We'll need to ditch this car at some point. It's too noticeable after that little chase."
"Agreed. What shall we do in the meantime?"
"We'll lay low for now. And we'll watch everyone else deal with each other.
George stood overhead on top of a building, watching as people tried their best to clean up after the devastating battle that just happened here. He cut a majestic figure, wearing the Armour of Ascalon and holding the blade so that the point rested on the tiles.
This moment was ruined by the huffing and puffing of his master.
"This… is harder… than it… looks." She said, lying down and trying to catch her breath. "Stupid… magic… not working right." After a few seconds of this, she finally managed to stand up next to him. Well, lean on him. But it was a start. "So… what did all this?"
"According to some other old timers sitting around, a black knight of a tank was chasing a car before a giant wolf-monkey-pig man smashed down on him. The knight pulled the turret off the tank and used it like a cannon, while the monster was too fast for him to hit. So the knight traded for a road sign instead. They went at it for a bit before the monster decided to flee, and the knight vanished into thin air. From the sounds of it, it could've been Rider fighting Berserker."
"Oh. Great." She said in a small voice. "Well, aren't we going to look for any murders and stop them? It's not like we can do much here now. The action's over."
"Agreed. But you must have patience. All things will come in time."
"Well I'm hot, I'm sweaty, and this suit is giving me a wedgie."
"I did tell you not to go out wearing that." Anything else he was going to say was silenced as he felt the presence of a Servant nearby.
No. Two Servants.
"We must be off." He grabbed Beth by the waist before jumping the rooftops towards their destination. True, Servants weren't to be taken lightly, but with Ascalon's might he will be victorious. Their travel took them past older buildings until they reached an apartment building, the front door already shattered. He released Beth long enough to unsheathe his sword again, the light of it filling the room. The entry way was already defiled. Swastikas adorned the walls at random, and everything was shattered. It looked like a whole squadron had stormed through here. The scene was repeated down the corridors. George and Beth moved cautiously down it, Beth trembling now as she did so. They found their way to the garden, set in the middle of the apartments.
And they found someone waiting for them.
There was a young boy, barely older than Beth, sitting down at a bench and looking a bit green. He had messy dark hair, hidden under a threadbare hoodie and had worn jeans. He took a deep breath and started writing in a journal of some kind. Next to him was someone a bit more familiar. A tall man dressed in an old-fashioned suit and a top hat, this man was studying the plants and writing in his own journal. It took a bit, but he finally managed to place him.
"Hello Henry." He said, stepping out into the light. Jekyll fumbled with his journal as he turned to face him. The boy looked up from his work, barely any emotion on his face. "Still studying the garden, I see."
"I am terribly sorry. Do I know you?" He adjusted the glasses on his face, before his expression lit up. "Why, by Jove. If it isn't Sir George in the flesh. It has been far too long, simply far too long. Why, last I heard you retired to the colonies, looking for a bit of peace and quiet. How goes the quest? Did my serum help in any way?"
"Regrettably, the fact it seems to cause a change in personality drove me off Henry. The current Forever King took an old vial of yours, and now he's running around acting like a loon."
Jekyll tsked. "Dreadful, simply dreadful. If only those accursed monsters didn't kill me with their weapons of fire, I could've fixed that little defect. Ah, but what's done is done. How goes the order?"
"I'm afraid the Forever Knights are no more. Almost all of us were wiped out battling Diagon for the final time. But he is no more."
"Splendid. Well, we'll get started on recruiting, and we'll kick off the rest of these damnable monsters from our lands. Master, come closer." He waved to the boy. "I want you to meet my old friend. He recruited me to work for the God-fearing true people of our fair world, dedicated to keeping it safe from the vile monsters beyond the stars."
"I am not going near him, Berserker." The boy said firmly. "Look at his armour and sword. He is clearly a Heroic Spirit here to kill us." They heard the sound of smashing and screaming further in.
"Oh, what rot. Didn't you hear? He survived and slew Diagon himself."
"Actually, my old friend, I didn't survive." Jekyll turned to stare at him for a moment before sighing.
"Oh bother. I don't suppose you'll let us go just this one time? It's just that I'm not exactly in the mood after than fight in the streets. I must say, that dark knight hits like a mule. Which is something I imagine you know more about than I do."
"We're not going to let you escape, you criminal." Beth said, stepping forward. He noticed that the boy's eyes were travelling up and down her body, noticing her figure. Next time, she was leaving that damnable thing back at the castle. "If you think you can go around and kill people while acting like Nazis, then think again. Cause Omni Gal is here to save the day."
"Omni Gal? are you Ben 10's sidekick?" The boy spoke up again. Beth blushed.
"Yes… Not really. But I could be. Once I bring you two in, he's totally going to let me work with him. Now, surrender to justice."
"I never had you pegged for a Nazi sympathiser." George intervened before she did something stupid. "Pro-human, yes. But not Nazis." Jekyll winced at that.
"Yes. About that. My master and I are not the ones doing all the killings. We're mainly here to keep an eye on our ally. They're both rather… brutal." Another smash echoed through the air. "At least Hyde left children alone. But Archer goes after anyone. Honestly, he make me almost ashamed to be human at times. And his master is a very… disturbed woman. I think she gets more fun out of this than Archer does."
"Then why do you work with them? Wouldn't it be easier to simply betray them? I'm sure Hyde could handle any Archer."
"She supplies us. Thanks to her, Jekyll and I have materials to experiment on and fuel our prana. She is also willing to donate her body to me in times of stress. And she's also very… forceful." The boy said in that monotone voice. Beth started squirming as she noticed where his eyes were looking.
"What my Master means is that she forced herself on him and he worries what she will do to him if we fail. Or if she gets the slightest idea we are leaving. I fear we have created yet another monster. The crash this time was much louder, as a group of soldiers jumped through the first floor windows. George pulled Beth behind him while Jekyll and his Master moved to the side. The soldiers moved in formation, their guns always pointing at him. Through the door, he could see a young lady walking out, bared head to toe except for a thick covering of blood. It looked as though she had rolled through it. Which if what Jekyll said was true, she might've. Next to her was another familiar person. George had originally planned on recruiting him until he realised the depths of his evil. He was fine removing aliens from Earth, but this man was planning on removing anyone who didn't fit his idea of perfection. Indeed, George felt as though he was partly to blame for his ideas.
"Bass? Won't you make love with me here in all this blood?" The girl said, walking sultry-like over to the young boy. He in turn appeared to be trying not to touch her. "My worms are hungry. They need feeding."
"I'm afraid we have guests right now." Bass replied, pointing at them. "Saber and his Master have arrived to stop you from your… fun." The girl turned to glare, before her eyes found Beth. Again, they travelled up and down her body, before she licked her blood-covered lips in anticipation.
"She's pretty. Pretty indeed. Prettier than me." She hissed at her before facing Bass again. "You were thinking of leaving me for her, weren't you? You want to peel that off her body, and then peel her flesh, weren't you?"
Bass gulped. "No, my dear. I love only you." She smiled, and kissed him on the mouth.
"Good. I knew you would. But just to be safe, we'll have the worms eat her flesh and turn her into prana, while making love to the sounds of her orgasmic screams. Archer, kill them." The man next to her stepped into the light, so that it hit his parted hair and his short moustache. Beth gasped as she realised who it was.
"Nazis, prepare to fire." Hitler commanded, the guns ready.
This would not turn out well.
