Chapter Fifty Five
As we left off from Ash and friends; the Wallace Cup competition is about to begin in just twenty hours.
Cinnabar Island Contest Hall (11:40 p.m.)
Both Dawn, May, Zoey and Kenny are getting ready for the double appeal round performance and Dawn is very nervous about the Wallace Cup.
May: You're nervous aren't you Dawn?
Dawn: Yeah just a little.
May: Just a little?
Dawn: Fine I am really nervous. What happen is I mess up?
Zoey: Hey try to be confident in yourself Dawn; just may sure you're Pokémon have look good and they are having run because the Pokémon are the stars.
Dawn: Right; thank you Zoey that made me feel a lot of better.
Zoey: You're welcome and remember you have Ash to cheer you on.
Dawn: Yeah, well I better get to my dressing to get ready.
Dawn went to her dressing room and changes into her contest dress and now she's ready for the appeal round.
At stage
Lilian Meridian: Welcome to the Wallace Cup, where many coordinators from around the world will be competing for the Aqua ribbon which can use to enter the Grand Festival in Kanto, Johto, Hoeen, Sinnoh, and Kalos. But before the Wallace Cup begins, we have a very special guest from the Hoeen. You all may now him as the Hoeen League Champion and Pokémon Contest Master, I present you Wallace!
The audiences are cheering for Wallace appearance at the Wallace Cup in Cinnabar.
Wallace: Thank you all for coming here on this special occasion and today only one coordinator will be winning this fabulous ribbon the Aqua ribbon. So to start this contest off I present you our first coordinator.
Dawn is watching the coordinator performance and she is amazed how this coordinator is commanding their Pokémon.
Dawn's mind: I need to try my best out their today and give it all that I have got.
After the coordinator finish with their performance in the appeal round, the coordinator received positive score. Now it's Dawn and her Pokémon's turn to enter the spotlight.
Lilian Meridian: Now may I present you our next coordinator from Twinleaf Town; Dawn!
Dawn enters the stage and threw two Pokéballs into the air.
Dawn: Buneary and Sylveon, spotlight!
Dawn calls out both Buneary and Sylveon.
Dawn: Sylveon use Dazzling Gleam with your ribbons and Buneary use Bounce and keep bouncing on Slyveon's ribbons.
Sylveon start moving her ribbons around like a whirlpool and Buneary is hopping from one ribbon to another ribbon.
The people in the audience are enjoying the two Pokémon having fun out there.
Dawn: Now Sylveon use Swift up towards Buneary and Buneary use Dizzy Punch on Sylveon's Swift attack!
Buneary: Buneary!
Buneary used her Dizzy Punch attack at Slyveon's Swift which it cause it to blow up to shining sparkles flowing down through the air.
Dawn: Great Buneary finish this off with Ice Beam and use Dizzy Punch on the ice.
Buneary used her Ice Beam towards the air and a ball of ice is falling down. Then Buneary used Dizzy Punch again to release the cool breeze of the ice ball.
The crowd begins cheering as Dawn's Pokémon ended their performance in the appeal round.
Lilian Meridian: Wow what an amazing performance. Give it up for Dawn everyone and now let's see what our judges have to say.
Mr. Contesta: I am very fascinated to see your Pokémn having fun out there and that's what bringing your true bond of Pokémon out at the stage.
Mr. Sukizo: That is very remarkable of your Pokémon just having fun without having any stress. Remarkable!
Nurse Joy: Your Pokémon are just very wonderful today!
Wallace: I must say that your Pokémon's performance has improved a lot from the last time you competed in the Wallace Cup at Sinnoh. Well done Dawn and keep up the great work by bonding with your Pokémon.
Dawn: Thank you so much and thank you to both of you two.
Buneary: Bunn!
Sylveon: Yhaah!
Dawn heads back to her dressing room and she is changing back into her normal outfit since the battle round is the next day. Dawn tunes in May's performance on television and her Pokémon are outstanding.
Dawn: Wow she is doing amazing out there.
Ash walks in the room.
Ash: Hey congratulations on the appeal round Dawn. You were just amazing.
Dawn: Thanks Ash and I couldn't have done it without you.
Ash: So do you know who you will be using for your first battle tomorrow?
Dawn: Yeah I'll be using Braviary and Quilava.
Ash: I hope you win tomorrow and I can't wait for you to enter the Grand Festival in just a few weeks from now.
Dawn: Yeah I'm really excited and thank you for all of your support. You mean the world to me and I love you very.
Ash: I love you too Dawn and after the Grand Festival our new journey awaits for us.
Dawn: Actually after the Grand Festival I'll be heading home first to visit my mom because it's been nearly two years since I have seen her.
Ash: Oh yeah, we'll me and Brock can go if you like.
Dawn: Actually I was wondering if you go to Kalos with Brock and I'll be meeting up with you later like two weeks.
Ash: Are you sure? I don't mind if I go with you to Sinnoh first.
Dawn: Well you could come but I want you to get a head start in your gym battle there first and no need to worry; I'll find a way to get a plane to Kalos and you meet you later. So is it a deal?
Ash: Yeah it's a deal and I'll be missing you a lot but at least we're together till the Grand Festival.
Dawn: Yeah and I also got some pictures of Lumiose City which is the largest city of Kalos and it haves so many beautiful place to go and I was wondering if we can have a romantic dinner there at night.
Ash: Sounds perfect but in the meantime just do your best out there tomorrow. I know you can do it.
Dawn: Thanks and come on let's meet up with Brock and the others too.
Ash: Right, let's go then.
Ash and Dawn meet up with Brock who just got Poison Jab by Croagunk for hitting on a girl who was just bypassing.
Ash: Are you okay?
Brock: Never better Ash, so what's new?
Dawn: Well I made it through the first round and I'll be battling tomorrow.
Brock: That's great now about we all have lunch once Zoey and May are done and including Kenny.
Ash: That sounds awesome.
Dawn: That will be great too.
Someone came inside the contest hall running and he wasn't watching where he's going.
Barry: HEY MOVE IT!
Barry bumps into Ash like always.
Barry: Hey watch it where you going or else I'm going to fine someone.
Ash: Hey you ran into me first Barry.
Barry: Oh hey it's Ash.
Dawn: I guess things sometimes is always the same.
Brock: So Barry what are you doing here?
Barry: Well I came to see both Dawn and Kenny compete in the Wallace Cup since they are both from Twinlead Town so I decided to watch. Besides we all best buds right?
Dawn: Best buds?
Barry: So did you two made it to the second round?
Dawn: Yeah I made it and Kenny as well.
Barry: Where is Kenny by the way?
Brock: I saw him at the hallway to the right, right over there.
Brock pointed to Kenny's location
Barry: Okay, I'll be right back in a flash.
Brock: Ohh by the way Barry, would you like to join for lunch.
Barry: Yeah that will be great and thanks.
Barry dashes off while May and Zoey meet up with the three trainers at the main lobby.
Zoey: Hey Dawn.
Dawn: Hey Zoey and May, congratulations for making it to the second round.
May: Thanks Dawn.
Dawn: Brock invited both of you two for lunch if you want to.
Zoey: Yeah and thanks for the invite Brock.
Brock: No problem.
May: Thanks!
Everyone headed out right when Barry and Kenny join them in lunch near by a beach of the island.
Ash: Okay guys come on out.
Dawn: You too.
Brock, Barry, Kenny, Zoey and May decided to release their Pokémon too for them to have lunch.
Dawn: Hey Ash do you think Reshiram would like to eat too?
Ash: Yeah that would be nice.
Barry: Wait who's Reshiram?
Ash: You'll see.
May: I heard of a Pokémon named Reshiram but it's hard to remember what was so special about it.
Reshiram roars loudly and everyone sees a white figure at the sky.
Reshiram landed on ground and both May, Barry and Kenny are shock to see a huge Pokémon.
May: Now I remember it's one of the two legendary Pokémon of the Unova region.
May pulls out her Pokédex to scan Reshiram.
Pokédex: Reshiram, the Vast White Pokémon. When Reshiram's tail flares, the heat energy moves the atmosphere and changes the world's weather.
Barry: So this is a legendary Pokémon and it's yours Ash?
Ash: Well it's not mine but I would say I tamed it after being worthy of challenging it to a battle back at Dragonspiral Tower.
Dawn: Here eat this Reshiram.
Dawn places some Pokémon food but it doesn't want to be a bother for her.
Dawn: What's wrong?
Reshiram: It's nothing!
Reshiram started to eat the food that Dawn offered.
May: It talks.
Ash: Yeah some legendary Pokémon have the ability to talk.
Barry: Hey Ash how about we have a battle right now with your Reshiram in FIVE..FOUR..THREE..TWO..AND ONE!
Ash: Whoah calm down Barry, Reshiram is a really strong Pokémon and I don't want to be responsible to what happen to your Pokémon.
Barry: Fine. (said in disappointment)
Ash: But we can have a battle tomorrow with just my regular Pokémon.
Dawn: Any wrong May?
May: Huh? Oh I was just thinking about the other legendary Pokémon of Unova but I can't remember its name.
Dawn: It's called Zekrom, the Pitch Black Pokémon.
May: Yeah I now remember that I have heard group of terrible people fused Zekrom with another Pokémon.
Ash: That actually happen, Kyurem is the Pokémon that fused with Zekrom and with Reshiram as well. It became a monster but thanks to Pikachu's help. Kyurem opens its heart and released both Reshiram and Zekrom. I thought Reshiram wouldn't come out alive.
May: What an experience for Reshiram; well at least it's okay now and same goes to Zekrom.
Brock: Well it looks like we are all finished eating so how about we take a small tour around Cinnabar Island?
Dawn: Yeah let's go.
Ash: All of you can go; me and Pikachu will be back at the hotel thinking about future plans.
Dawn: Okay I'll see you later.
Ash and Pikachu goes back to the hotel to think about what they should do once they head back to Pallet Town.
What more exciting things will happen that are in store? Will Dawn win the Wallace Cup? You all have to wait and see as the journey continues.

Also sorry for the delay I went to LA to take back a broken PS4 to a Sony Store to get a replacement so that pretty much took the time from writing this but since I finish this chapter I am now writing Chapter 56 as of right now when this is chapter is post.
