Griffin Taylor, 17, D11M

After drinking water and eating I take my sickle and start walking, but while I'm walking I smell, I smell smoke! And smoke means fire, and fire can only mean a tribute has started one! So with a determined look on my face I walk towards the smell of smoke, following it, although I'm pretty loud I know whoever it is I'll take them on in a head on fight. No one in this arena can take me on! I'll snap their necks like I did to that boy. Whoever it is I'm ready for them! I have to keep on fighting on.

And then I see who made the fire, although I can't blame him, he's cold, I'm cold. It's the boy from four, that boy who was picking on Thai in the training centre. I wanted to beat the shit out of him, but now I have the chance. "Well, look who it is, career boy lost without his buddies?" I say in a mocking tone, the boy has a dark look on his face illuminated by the fire. He grabs two harpoons that had been by his side and points one at me. "Lost? Oh no, no, I've never been better, and now I'm about to get another kill, even better." He says to me with a grin.

"Just try it Percy." I say with my sickle in my hand.

He then runs at me, not a hard run, it's more controlled, reflecting on his years of training. He takes a stab towards my face with his harpoon, however I knock it away but with his second harpoon he takes another stab and it just about nicks my left arm, only just drawing blood. I use the palm of my hand to hit him in the chest and he stumbles back, and then I send a kick in his direction, however the stupid prick manages to sidestep the kick and tries to stab me in the eye, however his aim isn't exactly accurate and he only leaves a gash on my cheek and I yell as I stumble back, blood flowing down my cheek, down my chin and dripping onto the floor.

This is going to be harder than I thought. But he is a career after all.

Percy Thames, 16, D4M

I'll admit it, when I first saw Griffin in the training center I was intimidated, big, strong, his muscles were bigger than mine, so much bigger. But now that the adrenaline has kicked in and my life is on the line I'm not scared, I'm just confident, my heard thumping, my feet dancing, years and years of career training kicking in, my arms seem to be moving systematically, dodge his swings, then take a stab at him, but he definitely knows what he's doing, he's not skilled, no, but he seems to be moving on a animal like instinct and pure strength, blocking his swings is impossible because he could probably break through any defense I put up, he's bigger than me but I've fought bigger guys in training before.

I then decide to take a risk, I quickly pivot on my heel, dodging his next strike and attempt to stab him in the side of the neck however he catches on, he manages to dodge that and uses his giant fist and slams it in my nose, breaking it instantly, I'm surprised I'm not knocked out but the shock and force makes me drop both of my harpoons and I'm on the floor on my back. He towers over me, ready to make his kill but I know I can't give up, blood it running down into my mouth and my nose hurts, it seriously hurts, it hurts to breathe through it.

I'll fight him without my harpoons!

So I quickly roll to the left, crouching down and I tackle Griffin, aiming right for the legs so he goes to immediately, no matter how big you are if you tackle someone with your shoulders and by the legs they will always go down. Apparently this technique used to be used in a sport a long time ago called 'rugby'. He lands on his stomach, winding him and quickly wrap my arm around his neck, getting him in a headlock and he's struggling, slowly getting up but he can't do anything but we're almost in stalemate.

But I've got you right where I want you.

Gloss Miller, 18, D1M

I'm jogging through the cave supplies in my bag and an axe in my hand, I left the cornucopia this morning and have been travelling for hours. As I continue running through this large labyrinth I head grunting, scuffling and I smell smoke. I let my curiosity get the better of me and follow the noise and smell. And when I reach the clearing I'm slightly surprised by what I see, this place seems like the perfect place for a fight, just rocks, jagged rocks everywhere, easy to use rocks as weapons, as I walk through the rocks I see a place where it's just stone hard ground, nothing there except for a fire and Percy and Griffin, fighting, but Percy has the upper hand.

"I-I um."

Percy sees me, his face red and blood all down his face. "Kill him Gloss, I was your ally, fucking kill this guy!" He screams at me, they're both fighting hard, Griffin's trying his best to get free but they're both pretty strong, but give it a few more minutes Griffin could get free and I'm not sure of Percy could kill this guy in an unarmed fight. But why should I help him? Why shouldn't I just kill him now and then run? "Why should I help you? You abandoned me, you and Shine left me to die, you're both bastards!" I scream.

"If you kill me then this guy will kill you, but if you kill him now he's gone, I won't kill you if you help me!" He shouts, he sounds like he's practically begging.

"Liar!" I scream and charge, ready to swing my axe at his side.

However Percy seems to sense my intentions and he uses almost all of his strength to wrench Griffin to the side, and what I do next horrifies me, it was an accident, I-I meant to get Percy. My axe tears across Griffin's mid-section, but it's so deep, I literally degut him. I disembowel him. His intestines literally fall out of his wound and the once strong boy lets out a disturbing gurgle and collapses to his knees and Percy releases him. The large spaghetti like guts fall out of his wound, out of his insides and onto the floor, blood all falling onto the floor. He hits the floor face first and moves no more.

BOOM!

And just like that I made my second kill of the games.

Griffin Taylor - In my opinion I think you should've made it to the top eight but the other tributes just had the little bit more edge on you. I honestly think you were getting harder and harder to right as you devleoped and you just felt a bit... forced, and that's never a good thing. But in all honestly you were an amazing tribute.
