I'm really surprised, the final four, that canon means another tribute has died. Would the Game makers want the finale to start soon? Would they draw us together, the four of us and make us kill each other in one more violent battle? I hope that bitch Demi Lanzerr is still alive, I want her dead by my hands (well hand). I ended up taping my sword to my stump with a lot of duct tape, I want to make sure I don't drop it and I still might need to use my other hand for things. I've mostly been at the cornucopia, resting and regaining my energy because I really need to be strong.

I sit with my back leaning against the cornucopia, I'm really tired, I've been slowly lulling in and out of sleep, surely the anthem would be coming up soon right? I sit chewing on my hair, what is my family thinking? Are they proud of me? Worried about me? If I win surely I'd get a prosthetic replacement for my troubles but still, losing a limb. I want to win, no I need to win, that's all I know I can do, win and win, I'll destroy any and all tributes in the arena if it means that. Even though I only have one arm and a half I'm confident.

Suddenly the sound of the anthem booms throughout the arena and I instantly look at the ceiling.

Percy Thames, District four

Now that is certainly surprising, I look at his cut face in the sky, staring down at me, so confident and ready, thinking he would win this unharmed but now look at him. He's dead, I'm actually surprised, who could have possibly taken out Percy? But I don't think about that now, I have a big day ahead of me and I'm ready to win it.

Cyrus Redick, 18, D7M

Ugh it hurts. I'm probably going to have to spend the night hiding behind a bush, that Percy kid got my good, I tried to fix myself up as best as I could, I managed to stop the bleeding in my arm but that kick to ankle messed it up. He must have twisted it or something because pain explodes through my foot when I try to walk on it, I know I have to do this though, put I know I can't hurt Demi, I came into the games to try and protect her and I kind of failed at that task. She's still alive however, I want her to win, I can't hurt her, I can't kill her.

I then try my best to sleep, it's the final four tributes and I'm anxious. I'm not anxious for anyone except for myself. I could die tomorrow.

Demi Lanzerr, 17, D7F

I see that District four boy's face in the sky and I'm happy, I'm very happy. That's one career down, only one career in the arena. I've lost so much, gone through so much pain and trouble, I have to win, I refuse to not win. The Game maker's will probably force us together somehow, but I'm running low on food and water and I know there's only one place to get that. The cornucopia. I'll need to go there, all the other tributes will need to go there because I know there are a lot of supplies there so I will need to go there.

I can't believe I made it this far, I made a resolve to myself that I'd win, even if it meant transforming into a monster, I was afraid but I fought through the fear, with death lurking at every corner you just had to be strong or you'd die, and I'd showed I was strong by splitting that spider's skull and killing Alexis Cryde. No one can say I am weak, no one. I find myself wondering how that prick Cyrus is doing sometimes, he's actually still alive. I mean yes we used to be friends at one point but not anymore and now he's just... there.

How dare he volunteer, I've been trying to avoid him all games but I might see him in the final four. Just my damn luck right? I'd have no problem with killing him anyway, just because he's from home doesn't mean he's anything special to me, I may be special to him but he's just nothing to me, it's simple as that. I'll my rest for tomorrow, only three stand in my way of winning.

Just three obstacles.

Michael Ishkavik, 18, D6M

I'm close to the cornucopia now, I mean really close. But I need to sleep, I need my energy, for all I know there could be a tribute planning to ambush me and in my tired state I know I can't fight them off. It used to just be me and Aya but she's gone now. Now it's just me and my glaive against the world. The long pole is leaning against my shoulder and my back is leaning against the wall. I touch the space where my ear used to be, through my long girly hair, I lost it and I'm still alive, I lost my twin but I'm still alive.

Just Michael Ishkavik against the world.

The final four now, only three more people need to stop kicking before I can get home. The whole prospect of more death saddens me. What if I die? What if I'm not strong enough? I can only believe because right now the only thing I can do is believe in myself. I'm not the only one afraid of what comes next, everyone else is probably as afraid as me, if you make it this far you have to be afraid.

But I'll have to turn that fear into my strength.
