okay so Adrian did ask if rose would marry him one day and they agreed on it but this is different he had a ring and everything and if is more serious then just saying it they are gonna move along and act on it .

chapter twenty -three

'' Rosemaire Hathaway , will you marry me ? '' The words didnt sink in right away but when they did I tackled Adrian in a hug and kissed him , I had not expected Adrian to purpose , I thought we were going to wait long to take that step but why not ? we didn't have to get married right away .

'' Is that a yes ? '' Adrian smiled at me wrapping his arms around my waist .'' Yes , Adrian I would love to marry you .'' I wrapped my arms around his neck and kissed him again .

'' Here .'' Adrian took the gorgeous ring that had to cost a pretty penny and slid it onto my finger . '' Can We go now ? I would love to get out of this infirmary and get a shower .'' I was sitting on the floor with Adrian my arms and legs wrapped around him .

'' Yeah You have a bag of clothes under the bed and then we can go head to the room we have .'' The guest room , the room that the academy Adrian had stayed in when he had first gone to the academy .

'' okay close the door .'' I stripped off the gown I was wearing and changed into the clothes Adrian had brought for me .'' You should really let me heal you some more .'' Adrian came over to me and lifted up my shirt exposing my bruised body , I was just covered in them and if he had already healed me some if ment they were a lot worse before .

'' No , I am fine .'' I moved away from him and pulled my shirt down .

'' Come on . '' I grabbed his hand and lead him out of the infirmary to the room .

As soon as we got there I stripped and took a nice long shower the hot water did a amazing job at soothing my sore muscles but hey that is what happens when you get thrown against a cave wall things tend to hurt .

'' You know I don't think I can accept this ring .'' I told Adrian diving on the bed beside him and holding it up . '' Why ? '' He looked at me his eyes wide with a alarm . '' I know you must have paid a lot for it and I don't want you to spend that much on me .'' I told him . He rolled his eyes and waved his hand in dismissal

'' it was my grandmothers ring .'' He explained and I smiled .

'' The grandmother with the garden you always take me to ? '' I asked him . '' Yeah .'' He nodded leaning forward and kissing me gently .

'' I guess I can keep it then .'' I smiled up at him and he kissed me again .

''You took a long shower .'' Adrian looked up at the clock on the wall . '' It is almost time for dinner and we don't want to be late , so get dressed .'' Adrian told me getting up from the bed and going through his suitcase .

'' Okay .'' I was wearing one of Adrians tshirts so I changed into a pair of black skinny jeans and a white blouse with some convers .

'' You ready ? '' Adrian who had changed into his usual designer jeans and a button up black shirt that made his eyes look amamzing .

We walked to the dinner hall hand in hand . when we were arrive I was surprised to find it packed there were more than just students there and was even a stage set up .

" What is this ? " I looked around confused . " A celebration for you the guest of honor . " Adrian held me close and kissed the top of my head .

" No , I don't deserve this I didn't do snything bug organize the groups . " I tried to turn and head for the door I wasn't a hero . I didnt really do anything that spectacular I felt like I was getting the recognition for something that I didnt do .

" Rose , come on . " lisa made her way through the crowd to me and grabbed my hand and with the help of Adrian dragged me onto the stage . Where I stood awkwardly in front of the microphone .

" Hi. " I smiled nervously at the crowd and pushed some hair out of my face .

" I just want to say this night is not to celebrate me or anything like that , the raid was only successfully done because we all worked together as one . " I looked out at the crowd . " so tonight is to celebrate us all . " I smiled proudly and they all clapped I stepped away from the Mic and walked down the stagr steps to Adrian who was waiting there for me .

" That was great . " Adrian wrapped his arms around my waist and spun me around when he set me on the ground he planted a kiss on my lips .
