Chapter 29
Having a baby , I thought it would be a lot more enjoyable . That you just get to eat and be happy all day . I could put on weight and no one could really say anything about that or all the moods I would go through but it sucks . I hate being pregnant , five months down and I am not at happy . My feet hurt all the time , I am already showing , I have a nice little belly on me already .
That extra weight really makes all the diffrence and remembering that I can jump jump into a fight or anything , it is hard . I feel so useless .
The way that Adrian babies me is horrible . It is annoying and he should know better .'' How are you feeling .'' Adrian got home and plopped on the bed next to me , laying his head down on my belly . '' Im fine , like I told you when you called a hour ago .'' I ran a hand through his hair . This kind of thing I did not mind , it was a moment I hoped would stay in my memorary forever.
'' I know .'' He looked up at me , his green eyes shining . '' The baby really love you .'' He put his ear back down closing his eyes to concentrate . Something else I love is that he already has such a deep connection with the baby .If nothing else I hope the baby has his eyes , I would also settle for a child with his caring heart ,his compassion . Basically anything our baby gets from Adrian I will be happy with .
'' You know we find out the sex later today .'' I was excited to know so we can start decorating accordingly . '' I hope the baby is a boy .'' He rubbed my belly affectionately . '' I don't care . I will be happy with whatever we have .'' I am slightly worried about having a girl , I know she will put me through hell not saying that a boy won't put me through the same hell . It will be karma and I' m sure everyone who knew me and knows that I can still be a real pain in the ass will appreciate the irony .
'' What time do we have to be there ? '' He finally sat up in bed and laid down beside me wrapping his arm around me .
'' In a hour .'' I got up from the bed , it was time for me to go to that bathroom for the like 100th time today.
'' I am so excited ! ''Adrian held my hand as we walked into the doctors office m, the nurese had me lay down and pull up my shirt . '' Hello Rose , Adrian .'' My doctor walked in her usual peppy self . '' Today is the day .'' She moved the ultra sound machine over to us . '' This is going to be gold . '' She put the gel on my stomach and rolled the machine over it .
We heard the heart beat and on the screen you could see the baby . '' You see this ? '' She pointed at something on the baby . '' It's a boy .'' she smiled at us . I looked at the screen , it was hard to really tell much of anything .
'' Congratulations , everything looks nice and healthy .'' She moved out of the way and Adrian hurried in and hugged me giving me a hard kiss. '' I love you Rose . '' He kissed my cheek . I giggled . '' I love you more . '' This was going to be great .
