Chapter 8: Unknown Fear

-Fox

"So wait, explain this to me again?" I asked Fizz as he picked some more food off my plate. He threw a slice of meat up a little only to catch it ii between his teeth a second later. He slurped it into his mouth fully and seemed to swallow it whole, licking his lips of the remaining flavor the meat gave him.

"We're going ghost hunting man." He said with a smile.

I looked over at Diana whose face was giving the same twisted reaction as mine. Her lips spread apart a little with her eyes intently focused onto Fizz. Her eyebrows brought together with the confusion showing as well.

"Not that part fish sticks. The part of a high rumor of a lunar temple hidden in the mountains there?" She asked scooting to the edge of the couch, closer to him as if to hear him better. Fizz looked over at her and stuck his tongue out.

"Yeah, what about it emo moon?"

"Emo moon? You little fucke-"She started but I cut her off by making a connection with her in my head.

'Hey!' I screamed at her in our minds and she stopped on a coin. She looked at me, our eyes making their now usual connection, holding my gaze and sitting back onto the couch. 'Keep your eyes on me and only me while I talk to him okay? We need to get you into the habit of staying calm. Got me?'

She kept searching my eyes while I felt her anger that was boiling like a burning hot pot of water, start to cool down quickly. I closed my eyes and made the deeper connection with her, thinking of the first moment in which we first deepened our bond. She let me in and me to her in return, our minds becoming one once again, telling her to think of the same moment I was. She mirrored the memory and in that instance we became one once more and our sync began. I felt the words boiling up and did my best to hold back their power of being spoken. They didn't have the same power behind them as Ahri's did when I first chanted them. Now was not the time to recite them, but I'll do that later today when I go practice with her.

My eyelids shot open, Diana's doing the same as if she was my reflection in still water, doing what I did when I did it. Her irises were glowing a light blue which were the same as mine. Her anger was now mine, but I took control and had her slow down her breathing, unclench her fist and sit back on the couch to relax.

"Keep looking at me, ok?" I said with a small smile to give her reassurance of a calm atmosphere.

"Yes summoner." She responded in a hushed yet bashful type way.

I looked over at Fizz and straightened out my features again, wanting him to be serious with his answers.

"Now Fizz, why do you care about there being a lunar temple?"

He returned the look of a serious focus and rested his hands in his lap, clearing his throat of anything that'll disrupt his upcoming words.

"Those are reason's that'll be shared between only me and you." He said with confidence and I just nodded my head to acknowledge that I wouldn't press any further on the matter for him. I looked back over at Diana and as soon as I reestablished eye contact with her I felt her heartbeat speed up a bit.

"If there's anything there that concerns both of us that we should both look into, I'll be sure to tell you when we come back alright? That can be our mission." I said and she simply nodded in return, staying relaxed on the couch. I smiled and closed my eyes again, leaving her mind and taking it back down to a simple mind link. When I felt that I had my thoughts to myself again, I opened my eyes and saw that her irises were receding back to their original silver glow. I stood up and stretched slightly and looked around the room to see my champions observing me.

"Now, everyone, let's go to the forest so I can show you how deep Ahri and I's connection is. Yasuo, you've already seen it but you haven't seen the stuff that rarely gets achieved. Also-"I was still talking to them when there was a knock on the door. Yasuo was closest to the door and as soon as I looked at him, giving a small nod, he unfolded his arms and pushed off the wall he was leaning against and opened the door.

Standing there was a summoner in her robes. She was a small thing, about three inches smaller than Ahri I bet. Her hood was up when Yasuo first opened the door but once it made its full arc and opened as much as it could, she withdrew it and her face was revealed. I've seen her before in front of the Elders Council Room. She must be the receptionist or something.

"She's actually one of the grand summoners here Fox." Said Ahri, like she read my mind. I looked over at her, raising an eyebrow. She shrugged and just smirked towards me.

"Don't get mad at me. You're the one in my head."

I squinted at her in disbelief. Wait a second, I didn't make a connection with her, I only made one with Diana and Sona. How the hell did she hear my thoughts? After I thought that, Ahri tilted her head in confusion and raised an eyebrow at me showing her confusion.

"You didn't? Then how come I can hear your thoughts?" She said. I shrugged and began to ponder quickly.

'If it means anything, I can hear your thoughts at the same time as well Fox.' Said Sona's luring voice. I snapped my head to her and squinted at her as well.

'How the hell are you guys able to keep your connections with me at the same time?' I asked her and Sona just shrugged as well. I dove into my thoughts again trying to remember something from all the books and scrolls I read with Ryze by my side. I was interrupted when I felt a tug on my robes. I snapped out of my memories to look down at what was grasping at my attention. It was the summoner that knocked on my door. I jumped back a step confused and shocked at how she just appeared there.

"Gah!" I exclaimed.

"I'm sorry to disturb you summoner but I bring you news from the Elders." She said in a voice that was so adorable and fit her size just perfectly. I looked her up and down quickly seeing that she had a version of the robes that typical traditional summoners wore but hers were special. They were a lighter purple than others and had a golden trim around the cuff near her wrists, her waist and in the design of swirls around her trims at her ankles. The design and style fit her very well and was very nice too. Damn, wonder what her robes would look like if she was bound to a champion. Her face was just cute as shit too, with her brown eyes, long eye lashes, and thin eyebrows. Her curly blonde hair which was folded over onto her right side was gorgeous and had the suns light bouncing off it making it look like a dark brown. Her lips were small but it didn't matter.

"Oh no, you're fine grand summoner. What does the Elder Council want from me?"

"They've heard that you returned to the Institute and wish to speak with you regarding your new title that the people have given you."

I slumped my shoulders slightly, pulled my head back a bit and lowered my eyelids. "Really?"

"No lies here." She responded.

"What, are they going to make it an official title or something?" I said with a slight chuckle in my voice. I was looking for a smile back to show that she was kidding or joking in any way but I was given a straight face. My chuckled died quickly as I realized she wasn't kidding.

"Holy shit their going to make it official aren't they?" I asked. Again, I wasn't met with a response and she just kept her look towards me simple and un-giving of answers.

"They wish to see you within the hour. Don't be late." She said, perking up her words at the end and turning to leave. As she left the room I just watched as she gave no sway to her hips, no limp in her legs, nothing. She walked like a robot kind of. No flaws. That's weird. Once out into the hall, Yasuo closed the door behind her softly. I stood there frozen, my left eye twitching a bit from the frustration of the situation. I didn't want the title that I heard from the market. I just knew this was going to be the stupid title they were going to give me. Dammit! My right hand came up and smacked my forehead.

"Alright, alright. Uhm, I need to think real quick…" I said. My champions didn't add into my thoughts by voicing their own which was helpful. There was no avoiding this so I need to at least give them a show if they ask to see my power first hand. Doing it with Ahri will be easy enough.

'Oh my. In front of the Elders? I've never done that before.' Chimed in Ahri. Wait, what? Oh sex.

'Shut up. Not what I meant.' I responded. Now, since Ahri and I's bond is deep enough to go full sync, maybe if I taught Sona and Diana how we did it, I'd be able to pull forth their summoning words. Diana I know will be easy to get to that level but Sona? I mean, I might be able to get a small grasp at them but I won't be able to fully pull the words to me. Gods, this was going to be difficult. Hmm.

'Why don't you just have Sona and I test it.' Said Diana's voice in my head.

'Test what?' I asked.

'This theory of yours.' Added in Sona.

'Theory?'

'Yeah, you were thinking of showing off to the Elders right?' Thought Diana.

'Yeah.'

'Then show us how you and Ahri got to the level that you're at. Work from there and see if our, what did you call them? Summoning words? See if they come out.' Explained Diana. This wasn't a bad idea. Yeah, let's do it then.

I pulled out my summoners orb and did the motions for the time. It appeared and showed that I have roughly 45 minutes to teach them this and get down to the grand hall in response to the Elders summoning me. I looked up at Diana and Sona and sighed, knowing that this process was going to be a little frustrating in the least.

But hey, at least I was making progress.

-Aatrox

It was strange to see my summoner stand there with the only females out of us seven. They weren't talking out loud but then again they must have made the connection in their minds through their bond. Something that wasn't unheard of but it was strange to see it happening. Yasuo, Rengar, Fizz and I stood near as they, Fox and the ladies sat in a circle and held their eyes closed. Ahri sat closest to Fox though, probably because she had the deepest level of binding with him at the moment. We four watched closely as Fox carried out what he briefly explained to us after the four of them shared their thoughts on the matter of being summoned by the Elders.

Nothing happened for the first ten minutes and Yasuo began to show a slight impatience. I turned to look at him to help calm his agitated mind. As I raised my left hand to place it upon his shoulder, the air around Fox and the ladies pushed itself outwards. It shocked me at first, causing me to turn back to look at them and I saw that their eyes were now open. Well, Fox and Ahri's at least. They're irises both glew a light pink. Then I noticed that around them, their clothes and hair began to move upwards slowly. The wind carrying they're hair and helping it defy gravity before my eyes. I've heard of this from other bound champions but to see it happen in front of me, this was very interesting. The power coming from the two of them was incredible. How did they achieve such a feet in just a couple of days?

The power kept growing and growing until finally it reached a point where I had to take a step back for a reason I didn't fully understand. It just felt like a command of some sort to step back and give this power more room to expand until it was satisfied. The second I took the step, the power reached its peak I guess and started to subside. Once it was back to its condensed form, Fox and Ahri's irises went back to their original color.

"What…..was that?" asked Yasuo in a disbelief tone. Fox smirked but didn't turn himself towards us. He gave his answer but kept his main attention on Diana and Sona who still had their eyes closed, completely calm and collected to our eyes. Inside their minds, they must've been gathering up as much information of the present as they could.

"That, was just scratching the surface." Fox said. He turned his eyes to Sona first and smiled an even bigger smile.

"Good Sona, very good. Now, keep that moment in your head, and keep gathering information at what's going on." He said as he moved his place to just in front of her. He extended his right hand placed it onto her left cheek. He ran his thumb over her cheek bones very carefully, and she raised both her hands to hold his face. Then, I felt power begin to boil up again. It hadn't surfaced but its power was already present. Fox chuckled a childish and almost maniacal laugh.

"Yes Sona, you've got it! I can feel your words of power coming to me. Just keep pulling your power to me. Focus on a specific part of me and put it all to there." Said Fox, keeping his happiness at her progress apparent and easy to hear. The power began to grow very quickly shortly after he said that, and Fox began to close his eyes. As they fluttered a bit more, he shook his head as if there was a bug on it and he was trying to rid himself of its body. Once that was done and the power kept growing, Foxes eye lids shot open, his head snapped back up looking at Sona. His irises were now bright green, like the beginning color of the leaves in spring as they awoke from their slumber of winter. The power now exploded outwards, not physically like Ahri and his power, but more mentally, in a way that we could sense it just being there.

"Sona, Maven of the Strings, I call upon your melody and its soothing sounds to embrace and power me as I face my foes. Come forth and answer my call!" Commanded Fox in a voice none of us have heard. From my stand point I could not witness Sona's features but I just knew that her eyes were open with most likely the same glowing irises.

'I hear your call dear summoner and my melodies shall soothe your wounds until the moment you see fit for them to end. I am yours to command.' Said one of the most soothing voices I've ever experienced in my life that I've walked these planes of the mortals. It made me feel at ease immediately with the satisfaction of what humans call a good rest.

"Was…was that Sona's voice?" I asked engrossed into the lovely sound that was just presented to me. Fox smiled and turned his head towards me.

"Yeah, that's what I've been hearing in my head since the first day I was bound. Well, except for the time I went to Piltover with Ahri. It's great isn't it?"

All I could do was nod my head and focus my sight on Sona as she kept her focus on Fox. He looked back at her and took his hand away, the power that was emitting from them starting to reside. His and her eyes faded back into their original colors. I looked over at Ahri, a smile breaking out on my face but hers was no longer a smile. She had on a face of disdainful pain, probably because she was worried that Sona was catching up to her. I should probably address her to keep her from making it a rivalry.

"What is the matter young fox mistress? Are you not satisfied with their progress?" I asked. She didn't turn her attention to me, only continued to look at Fox with a worried face.

"I'm more than happy at their progress."

"I am confused then. Why do you show signs of worry on your face?" I asked to get further explanation from her.

"It's what comes after the progress that worries me." She said. I squinted at her in a small way and looked back to Fox whom seemed okay. I could sense something out of place though, which was confirmed as Fox leaned over closer to Sona, bent over and in pain which I could feel in my being. As I searched for what was wrong I smelled the presence of his blood, its rich and drawing smell. Wait, why could I smell his blood? That was when I noticed the droplets of blood coming from his nose. Why was his nose bleeding?

Was his power too much for him or was it too much to suppress?

-Fizz

I followed Aatrox's gave and what I saw gave me a scare. Fox's nose was bleeding and his pain was starting to make itself known to my head. I saw movement to me left and I guessed that it was either Yasuo or Aatrox moving to help Fox in whatever way they could. I was starting to move towards him to do that same but Fox held out his right hand to hold us where we were.

"Don't! Just, don't worry. I'm fine. It's just a sign of my limits for now. Don't freak out because it's going to happen with Diana and you guys as well when we get there. So don't worry for now. The more I practice, the more I can handle and stretch myself." He said to us. We each hesitated but we took our steps back to our original place. It's hard to keep quiet at a moment like this but it's for Fox so I guess I can hold back my remarks.

Fox wiped his nose and sniffed up whatever blood remained in his nose that he couldn't get to right now. We didn't have much time before having to appear in front of the Elder's for their summoning of us. They didn't do that too much but then again with the shit that Fox does it would be hard to not call him in and tell him to get his shit under control. I watched as Sona leaned forward as well and Fox held out his hands to catch her. She caught herself but Fox still wrapped his arms around her, patting her and running his hand back and forth over her back.

"It's okay Sona, I know. It's hard to get used too. Sorry to rush you but I want to at least by myself some time so they don't want to send us on an official League business mission when they don't need to. Rest up real quick while I get Diana's words called forth." He said. She brought her head up and smiled a weak smile at him. He let her go in a gentle looking way and turned his attention to Diana who had her eyes closed now. She tried to hide it but I saw her break concentration and make a move towards Fox. He looked her up and down real quick and raised an eyebrow before looking over at me as if asking the question "Did she break concentration?" with his eyes. I just nodded and smirked.

He rolled his eyes and looked at Diana before closing his eyes again.

"Alright Diana, do you have the scene of when we first bonded?" He asked her. She nodded and answered.

"I do summoner."

"Good. Now, tilt your head forward and put your hand onto the back of my neck." He told her. She raised her left hand hesitantly and took a few seconds before she finally place it there. Fox met her forehead with his own and it grew really quiet.

This eerie silence went on for a few minutes before Fox sighed and shook his head.

"Well, I was kinda hoping I wouldn't have to do this with them here but again, I'm not coping a feel." Fox said before raising his left hand. Diana nodded her head lightly so not to disturb their connection. He placed his left hand onto her right breast. She gasped a little gasp like some teenage girl being touched the first time. Wait, has she not had a boyfriend before? No shit Fizz, have you seen her? She's crazy and scary as fuck so no she hasn't had a boyfriend before. Dumb ass. Hey! Zip it 'self'.

Was I talking to myself again? Man I do that a lot these days.

There it was again, power. This wasn't like the power Sona and Fox had or Ahri and Fox. No, this was on a whole new level. It didn't build slowly like the other two, it built very fast. So fast that I could feel it already about to explode. Then Fox's eyes shot open again and this time they were almost silver. Not quite silver but more along the lines of glowing white like the full moon in the ocean of black stars. That wasn't the scary part though. The whites of his eyes were now a darker white, edging their way towards grey making the now white irises pop even more. That was when the power burst from its cage and blasted outwards.

"Diana, Scorn of the Moon, I call upon you and your sister the moon, so that I can draw upon its power and shed its light upon my foes. Come forth and answer my call!" He commanded. The power just kept rising, and that's when Diana's eyes shot open, having the same coloring in the iris and the whites as Fox.

"I hear your call and respond to its ring. I shall bear my blade to your foes and cast them aside with my lunar powers until they are no more." She responded and Fox just started to laugh. The power kept going up though, starting to condense even more.

"This is incredible! I haven't reached my limit yet and were almost at the same power as Ahri and me! We need to keep going, we can't stop until I reach my limit, keep focusing your power Diana!" He shouted but he must not have felt the blood that was coming out his nose more now. The power in the air kept building and building almost felt like it was going to start shattering things. This needed to stop now or Fox was going to hurt himself!

"Fox, your nose!" Yasuo shouted before me. He looked down and saw the droplets on the floor and pain beamed on his face.

"Dammit! Diana, de-sync!" He said and almost immediately, the power stopped expanding and began to subside. It took a few seconds before their eyes started to return to normal and the power was nothing but a fraction of what it was expanding to. Fox pulled himself back and fell onto his back. He sighed and that was when Aatrox, Yasuo, Rengar and I looked at each other then rushed to his side along with the girls. As we leaned over each other to look over Fox, he started to chuckle and wipe his nose of the blood.

"What is so funny young hunter?" Rengar asked. Fox just shook his head and opened his eyes again, a slight glimmer on them.

"It's just insane how much power you champions have. You guys haven't even tapped into the power that you could have. It's almost like you have something holding it back." He said. He then held still and looked up at the ceiling. He shot himself into a sitting position and looked at us. We were all a bit confused but he had on a look that showed he seemed to have figured something out.

"What is it?" Asked Yasuo, asking what we were all thinking. Fox just looked down at his hands, making ticking motions with them like he was fiddling with something in his hands.

"Dude, what is it? You gonna fill us in on what you figured out?" I asked. He finally looked up from his hands and just looked around me like there were a bunch of bugs buzzing here and there.

"No. It's just a theory that I need to research into a little bit more." He then wiped at his nose again, clearing away the rest of the blood. "Alright, since we've got this down ladies, let's go. Just use what I taught you and how to pull out that power and do what we did except all you should need now is just the memory so we don't need physical contact anymore." He turned to look back at them and they all nodded at him. He nodded back and jumped up to his feet. The rest of us followed by his lead and got to our feet.

"Hold on, let me go wash my nose of the rest of this blood. Gimme a minute." He said then walked toward our bathroom and turned on the sink. I turned to look back at the 'ladies', as did Rengar, Yasuo and Aatrox. Diana and Sona were holding their heads like I did when I had the occasional headache.

"Does it hurt that much?" I asked kinda scared now to get to new levels of a binding with Fox.

"Yeah, but not in the bad way." She said back.

"How the hell is there a good way of pain?" I said.

She started rubbing her temple and looked over at Sona who was doing the same. "I don't know it just doesn't hurt that badly. It stings but in way of like combing out loose ends that have been there forever. Get it?"

"Uh." I pulled on my tentacle type things and shrugged. "Yeah, let's just say that I do."

"But you don't have any hair." Said Aatrox. I looked at him with a dumbfounded face.

"No shit butterfly guy. It was sarcasm." I said to him trying to get these people to understand a sense of joking when it slaps them in the face.

"I still haven't had the premise of sarcasm explained." Said Yasuo, hands on hip.

"Oh my gods, okay, sarcasm is when someone says something that they don't mean." I responded back, crossing my arms.

"So lying?" Yasuo asked again. I swear to gods you'd think he would've come across someone like me who is sarcastic all the time.

"No…well, yes, but in a way." I said.

"What way?" He asked again.

"Geez you're like a kid with all these questions." I said to him.

"You need to ask questions in order to get the answers that will teach you lessons. Duh." Yasuo said, like some sassy teenager.

"Okay smartass. Whatever." I responded before Fox finished up in the bathroom.

"Alright ladies, let's do it." He simply put.

"What of us young hunter?" Rengar asked for all four of us. Fox turned to us and shrugged with a smile on his face. That was becoming a usual thing now and we were starting to notice it. It was nice to see him always in a cheerful mood.

"You guys can come watch if they'll allow you too. I'm pretty sure they just want me and my female champions." He told us. I wasn't going to be missing this for the world.

"Well, I'll be getting in one way or another. You can't keep me back from this show." I told him out right. Yasuo pointed at me while nodding his head.

"I agree with the fish." He said. Fox just looked at us and crossed his arms before asking us his next question.

"And what if the reception elder summoner chick won't allow it?"

Aatrox added in his own thoughts next. "Then I will politely tell her that we are your champions, and that we will not be separated from you on such a special occasion and if we have to, we will tear down the doors separating us from you in order to be by your side." All of us looked at him surprised.

"Whoa. That was really descriptive there butterfly wings." I said. I walked over to my staff that was leaning against the edge of the couch. "But, right on the mark. We're in this together now Fox, so everything you're summoned to, so are we as far as we're concerned."

Fox looked at us four and saw that we were all ready to fallow him. He nodded his head at us and moved his hands into his pockets of his pants.

"So be it then. Let's go." He turned around towards the door and we lined behind him with Ahri right behind him, Diana to her right and Sona to her left. We all called forth our original summoning outfits to us and wore them. Us four were behind the three ladies close behind.

This was going to be one fucking awesome display of power, and Fox hadn't even had the power mastered yet.

-Fox

As we stepped out of the elevator, it was clear that we were going to start attracting attention since Ahri and my little market incident. My champions and I made our way towards the grand hall, already seeing that people were noticing us as they stopped talking or stopped walking and stood aside. I didn't turn my eyes to look at them so as to keep my appearance that of one whom was always focused and not looking like I was in it for the fame. When we turned the corner and officially entered the grand hall, the higher ranking league summoners became more frequent. A couple of faces I recognized because they were known assholes or known sweethearts. They all seemed to stop what they were doing and looked towards me and my champions as we walked in unison towards the Elders Council room.

"Funny. I didn't know that wild animals were allowed to roam our halls." Said a voice from a hooded summoner. From his badge he was ranked as a silver IV. Someone who shouldn't be making that kind of insult. I stopped in my place, having Ahri, Diana and Sona come close to me and look over at the summoner. I looked over at him as well but only out of the corner of my eyes.

The Silver leaguer stepped forward a bit as if challenging me. "What? You wanna do something rodent? Just because you beat a silver at the market doesn't mean that you can beat all of us."

"Dude, c'mon. You know he beat up a Diamond V at the day of binding." His friend said next to him, one that was sitting down and had his hood up as well. I couldn't see his facial features but thankfully he was one of the silver guys who was rational and didn't think he was such tough shit.

"HA! Even lower rankers than him have pulled off smaller things with better luck. Beating a diamond isn't that big of a deal. She showed a small weakness, and even that'll bring down the greatest of us all if it's the right one."

I didn't want to hear this dumb ass talking anymore. I reached out to Ahri, Diana, and Sona in my mind, telling Sona to stay here and wait while Diana, Ahri and I made this move to change his attitude towards rankings. They agreed to it and I whispered the spell 'Flash'. Appearing behind him in the blink of an eye, my weapon drawn in my right hand, backwards so it was in a stabbing position. I held the sharpness of the blade against his neck while looking away from him with my arm outstretched. Diana had her blade drawn and was back to back with me, holding hers in the same way just with her left hand and had the weapon across his chest. Ahri had summoned her Fox Fire's and floating around her ball of essence which was just inches from his stomach.

"Gah," Was all the silver summoner could muster, feeling the material of my blade against his throat.

"Holy shit!" Said his fellow silver leaguer. The guy jumped up and backwards from his chair, making it fall over and he stumbled over it, falling onto his ass. "Gods above I didn't know you could use flash on two champions at the same time."

"If I could beat you this easily, then you're right, beating a diamond isn't a big deal. Weakness comes in many forms and to expose any of them at any time for any person, will bring down anything. The weakness you have is that mouth of yours. If you think you can beat me, then meet me outside in the courtyard in half an hour."

He was silent and I took that as his understanding. I withdrew my blade and slid it back into its holster. Diana sent hers back to where she summoned it from and Ahri withdrew her flames and ball. They followed me as I started walking towards the council room again and my other champions began to follow as well. I could feel the eyes of others who probably wanted to do what that silver did just to try and knock me down from the thrown they thought that I thought I was on. I didn't care what they thought, I just wanted to be left alone.

"Fine asshole! If you don't show up, I'll take it as a forfeit! Wouldn't be the first time from what I hear!" He shouted from the safety he thought he was at. I took two more steps and heard another gasp from a few people and turned my head. Fizz was on top of the guy now, and he was on his back. Fizz had his trident pointing at the summoner's chest and I stopped once more.

"What the fuck?" The kid muffled.

"Okay, one, he voted against the forfeits of the matches to which you are referring. Two, the only chances you have of lasting more than 23 seconds against Fox is if he had a missing limb, a missing eye, three fingers on his GOOD hand, two years less of education than you, and probably mental retardation. Even that's being generous. And three, if you can't address someone you supposed to not be afraid of eye to eye, then you are terrified of them. Now does that sound handy fucking dandy to you?"

The summoner was quiet and I have to say, Fizz sure knows how to make someone sound bigger than they are. Then a smile broke out on the summoners face and he started to move. "You're a champion. You can't do shit to me. So why don't you just get the fuck o-"He was cut off by Fizz stabbing his trident down towards the guys right forearm and cutting it in three different places: two on the outside of his forearm and the third on the inside of it, closest to the guys chest. He yelled out in pain and swung his left fist in an arc to chit Fizz off. Fizz quickly brought his trident up and spun it, timing the swing and smacking it downwards to have the guy hit himself. Then he fluently swung it to have one of the points at the guys left cheek and pressed it hard enough so that he drew a little blood. The guy held still and took deep breathes from the surprise.

"That is a common misconception and I love it. You see, the rules clearly state that champions can't harm summoners in any way unless in self-defense or of equal rational circumstances. One thing is, it doesn't specify bound champions since that is what I am now so there's one loop hole and two, I guess I am defending Fox's honor so that is equal to self-defense." He stopped there and looked at the guy with at what looked like a smile from where I stood. "Rules are fun huh?"

The summoner remained quiet and Fizz just pulled the trident back and jumped off the guy, walking towards us. "Just remember now. Since you lost to me, a champion, means you can't even beat my summoner. I would say good luck to you but, you really don't fucking deserve it." He said that last part of the sentence with a chuckle in his voice. The corner of my mouth lifted itself up a bit as I looked at the guy on the ground watching us leave. I turned back to walking towards the council room and finally saw the desk at which the small elder summoner sat, typing something on a device that I couldn't see.

In just a few short strides, I stopped in front of the desk and she didn't even look up while she addressed me. "Do you always cause trouble with your champions?"

I scoffed and crossed my arms. "I didn't start it."

"Yeah well, you didn't avoid it now did you?"

I remained quiet because she was right. She finally looked up from her device and locked her eyes onto mine. We held the stare for a little bit and I just had to look away. Gods they were just so…so…

'Hard to look at?' Said Sona's voice. I nodded at her, keeping my eyes from looking back towards the elder summoner. I heard a couple of buttons being pressed, then some gears of some sort move into place, turning and working together with each other. The giant doors to the council room edged their way open into a grand room with vast space. There was then the five great chairs hoisted up in the air, just floating there. The chairs had the Elder's element making it stay afloat. The Elder of the earth had rocks and minerals of various kinds and shapes constantly changing and moving. The chair itself though seemed to match the others as a type of marble. The Elder of water had water forming into ice and water. The Elder of Fire was fire that was changing itself from a small blaze into a raging inferno near his hands. The Elder of air had what looked like clouds swirling in a storm. There was the occasional lightning flashes which was just fucking cool. The final chair, which was most likely the Masters, was straight up black, maybe obsidian, with silver outlining the edges. It was near the legs of the chair that the element of each elder changing and forming. I started to walk into the room when I heard various buttons being pressed again. The gears to the doors moved themselves again, making the doors close behind me and my champions, all of them I hoped. I turned my head to see and yup, she allowed all of them in without us even having to ask. Nice. I turned my attention back to the Elders whom were talking amongst themselves. Once I made it into the middle of the room, I stood still and slid my hands into my pockets, waiting for the Elders to finish up their conversation and focus on me.

They continued to whisper amongst themselves for quite some time. I was actually tempted to jump into my mind state and wait to be awoken by someone letting me know that they were done. I brought my right hand out of its pocket and grabbed the hilt of my blade thinking that the simple motion would get their attention. I kept my eyes on them and they still seemed to not give me proper attention, didn't even address me. In a motion I hadn't quite mastered yet, I drew the blade and spun it in my palm, so that the twirl would make the blade fully extend and be ready for my next stroke. As I finished the spin and the hilt rested in my hand with the back of the blade resting against the outside of my forearm, an ignite spell landed right in front of me. I jumped back a couple of steps and yelped lightly. Looking up at the Elders, I saw that the Elder of water had her right hand outstretched and facing me, showing that she was the one whom shot the spell.

"You dare draw your blade in our presence summoner?" She asked in a stern yet steady voice. She was still young so I didn't really find her that high above me. I've never seen her really display her power so, I just shrugged off her 'importance'.

'You really shouldn't do that.' Said Sona's voice in my head.

'I know but until I get proof, I won't really acknowledge it.' I responded to her. I spun the blade again and slid it back into its comfortable home on the back of my waist, just resting on my ass.

"Well, we weren't getting anywhere with you guys whispering to yourselves like a bunch of teenage girls with the latest secrets on Gary or something." I talked back to her with a hint of attitude. I didn't have the plans of getting under her skin but hey, you make do with what ya get.

"Do not test me with your small insults summoner." She shot back with more anger.

"Well, if you want me to go bigger with em, that won't be too hard." I shot at her again, this time with a smirk to show her that I was enjoying our little chat.

"Only speak them if you wish to challenge me…"She asked, getting to her point almost seeming like one of the high rankers wanting to try and put me in my place.

"Tempting…"I said, balling my fists and letting them fall to my side. Immediately I could feel that saying that to her was a bad idea. She didn't show any physical signs but her power growing and reaching out like it did for me when I was with pushing the limits of a sync with my champions, pushed on me. It made me feel so small and hopeless like when I first came here and started taking classes. My mood changed faster than it ever had before and I un-balled my fists and bowed towards her.

"I apologize Elder, for my rude commentary." I held my pose and felt the power disappear just as fast as it had appeared with my words.

"Apology accepted then. You may rise." Her voice was now that of a cheerful young woman that sounded like she got the job she always wanted. Well, wasn't that a curveball?

'Curveball?' Asked Sona. I reached out to her mind with a simple answer.

'I'll explain later.'I rose back up and slid my hands back into their pockets. Then I saw the Elder of earth chuckle. Well, not physically on his face chuckle, if he had one, but saw his shoulder rise and fall as if he was chuckling. His shaky voice as he spoke next confirmed that he was chuckling.

"You are one of the few summoners that can get on her nerves that much. I wonder why that is."

"He has that certain perk to his personality doesn't he?" Added in the Elder of Air.

The Elder of Earth nodded and looked over at her. "Indeed. Yet, I find him remarkably funny and cunning."

"Like Fizz?" Asked The Elder of Water joining in on this random conversation on me.

"Like a lot of champions these days it seems." Said the Elder of Air.

The Elder of Fire nodded and pointed at me. "Must be the reason why they were bound."

"Uhm, real quick." I asked, trying to get them back on topic. They turned their heads to look at me and I cleared my throat. "So, back onto topic, why was I summoned?"

"Man, if we got a hundred credits every time we heard that, we'd be paid a lot more than we are." Said the Elder of Earth.

"Which part? The back on topic or why they are summoned?" Asked the Elder of Fire.

"Doesn't matter. We don't get paid in credits, we get paid in perks with the job." Said the Elder of Air.

"Man those perks are sweet." Said the Elder of Water.

"Like that cake I got for free yesterday." Said the Elder of Earth.

"GUYS!" I yelled, getting their attention once more. The turned to look at me again and this time I asked the question in one way so as to get an answer straight up. "Why did you summon me to your council room?"

The Elder of Earth used the elements that were floating around his chair to make a small staircase to a few feet in front of me. Once he was on the base floor with me, he put his hands behind his back and addressed me.

"We heard of your whole ordeal at the marketplace and have recognized a title from the people."

"Oh no." I said.

"Oh yes. Fox the Sly, we have heard their cry and shall hence forth adopt it for the time being until they give you another after you show your power with all seven of your champions. You are now going to be Fox, Thief of Sirens." The Elder finished up.

I didn't really respond with words, I just showed my distaste with the title by involuntarily having my left eye twitch and drooping my eyes. I could feel the smile on the Elders face as he saw mine.

"But, before we make it official here at the league, we called you here for a couple of simple tests, one of which, you have already failed."

This caught my attention because it confirmed my guess from earlier. "So that was a test. I knew Elders didn't do that out of habit."

"Wait, do what? You're gonna have to explain to us how you already failed a test here because we didn't see any test." Asked Ahri first. She had her arms crossed and ears twitching in various ways, not holding still. Was she nervous?

"Unless it was a test of patience. Then you have failed pretty hard." Added in Diana. They seriously didn't get it. I just shook my head and kept my gaze on the Elder.

"You should tell em. They won't believe me if I do." I told him. He nodded once and addressed them.

"The test that was failed, wasn't on his part, but yours, champions."

"What?" Said Ahri and Diana at the same time.

"How did we fail a test that was supposed be for Fox?" Asked Diana, pressing further from her conjoined question with Ahri.

"Once a champion and summoner are bound, they become one, or should, at least. So when we give him a test, it is also a test for you." The Elder continued to explain for them. They held quiet and seemed to slowly get the gist of it but were still stuck on the part where it was a test for them. I could feel in Sona's mind that she was thinking back to before my little chat with The Elder of Water and was piecing it all together. Then she made the connection once she saw the Ignite spell being shot at me again, without a protection reaction from any of them towards me.

'We failed to protect you again.' She said. I nodded my head and was about to say that she was right out loud for the other two but the Elder beat me to it somehow.

"That is correct Sona."

Could he hear her thoughts? Her voice inside her head?

'Yes, he can. Well, they all can since they need to be able to have daily communications with all and any champion at any time.' She explained to me. I nodded and that made some memories pop into my head. That explains a lot of things actually.

"Since you failed that first test, you will have to make it up to us by at least showing how deep of a bond you three have." The Elder of Earth explained to them. I smirked, folding my arms into each other as it dawned onto their faces that they should always be ready for anything.

"But you're an Elder. We can't attack you." Realized Diana, at which I decided to answer, knowing it right away.

"It doesn't matter. Our binding is the most important thing to each other's lives. We are supposed to protect each other and this binding is more important than the Elders. We are the symbol that others look up to and we are the ones that protect them. The Elders are the ones that bestow the power to do just that." I look over at the Elder who was already observing me as I answered her question. He nodded and gave that same sensation of smiling.

"Indeed that is true. Even though we are bound to stay pure, even we can become corrupted."

"It's just really hard to corrupt you." I added in to reassure myself. He answered and nodded in return.

"True enough. Now, let us see how deep your binding is amongst one another." He used his elements to move himself back to his original position at his chair. I looked at my champions once more and smiled, nodding at them to prepare themselves. They nodded back and I turned towards the Elders. I closed my eyes, gathering my thoughts and entering into my mind state. Once they were all there, I felt Diana, Ahri and Sona reach out to me and I opened up to them. They made a presence for themselves giving a physical picture of them so I could see them. After their images were made, I could see a faint aura make itself a stream towards my chest, more specifically my heart. It connected with theirs as they observed it as well.

'Alright, just like I showed you two up in the room. Make the moment now, in our heads. Concentrate on a single point on me and focus all your power onto that. No matter what happens, don't stop until I tell you to.'

'Understood Summoner.' The three responded in unison.

We held steady for a few moments but I could feel their power begin to boil up. I whispered the runes to bring up an ignite spell in my right hand and a healing spell in my left. I could feel my mind sync with all three of theirs, so now they could see that I wanted them to focus on the spells in my hands. Instantly, I could feel the power in my hands increase and more gathering around my neck. I looked into Diana's head and saw her focusing her power onto the necklace I never took off. Then I saw she was putting it there to give me a shield and pull forth from that power if I needed to amplify my other spells. That was incredibly smart and needed for this situation. Man they just keep impressing me everyday.

That was when I felt it, the power that they called forth, start to reach its peak meaning my limit. That's also when I noticed that I was weaker than I ever thought I was when I was with my champions.

-Rengar

In all my days as a hunter and all my days here at the league, I have never seen what was unfolding before my eyes. Granted I had already observed the phenomenon beforehand at my summoners place of dwelling, what I was seeing now made me worried for him again. Before they all closed their eyes, it was a few moments of silence before there was any power from the three and it started to grow. That I already knew what it was but thus, it grew ten times faster than last time. I don't understand why it was growing at such a pace but it was astounding what these four had achieved in under an hour of instruction. The same effect as up in the room was happening now, gravity was being defied and their clothing and hair started to float upwards. I looked at the young hunters hands and noticed that in his left hand it was glowing a bright green color, then in the other, it lit itself aflame. There was also a light glow around the young hunter's neck, glowing more brightly as time went on.

Then the explosive feeling of power came forth, sending shivers down my spine, but it wasn't that shiver I received whenever I was hunting and could feel the fear of my prey as they felt my presence bearing down on them. This shiver was one that I only felt whenever I saw someone I cared for being put into place by that of another hunter. This shiver was one that I received as I watched Fox fighting for his life with those that hid behind masks of cowardice. The scene before me was changing more and more as the power amongst them grew. The flames in my young hunters right hand grew bigger and brighter, the green aura in his left hand also grew in comparison along with the glow around his neck. Then a second wave of power exploded from among them which had a physical form of air that pushed on my chest along with my fellow champions next to me. Fox then spoke out words that I have heard before.

"Diana, Scorn of the Moon, I call upon you and your sister the moon, so that I can draw upon its power and shed its light upon my foes. Come forth and answer my call!"

After those words, Diana's eyes shot open giving off their look that was had at the room when they did this before. My young hunters eyes stayed closed though which was a different result than before.

"I hear your call and respond to its ring. I shall bear my blade to your foes and cast them aside with my lunar powers until they are no more." Responded Diana as she had before. The power continued to rise as the seconds inched by. Diana's weapon was brought forth and she moved forward to stand next to my young hunter's left hand.

There was another explosion in power giving another physical form of a burst of air. The power just continued to grow as the moments kept going. My young hunter spoke out again.

"Sona, Maven of the Strings, I call upon your melody and its soothing sounds to embrace and power me as I face my foes. Come forth and answer my call!"

Once again, after he spoke those words, Sona's eyes shot open with her irises doing what they had in the room before. And again, Fox's eyes stayed closed as she responded to his call.

'I hear your call dear summoner and my melodies shall soothe your wounds until the moment you see fit for them to end. I am yours to command.' Came the 'voice' that was Sona's for all of us to hear.

Then I noticed that the glow that was around Fox's neck had formed a ball of light at the midsection of his chest. You could slightly see inside of it to see another, brighter glowing orb which must've been the necklace Fox had when he woke up on the mountain. Then at his left hand, the aura that was surrounding his hand, was now crawling up his arm like a serpent did a tree at times, but its color was glowing brighter than before which I hadn't noticed before.

As I was watching the aura engulf itself onto Fox's arm, his arm slouched a little. I find that strange since he didn't move before when he called forth Diana's words. Then I looked at Fox as a whole and saw his face had distorted into one of pain. He bared his teeth as I did to my prey before finishing it off. There was a small stream of blood coming from his nose and the left corner of his mouth. I followed them to the ground where he stood and noticed the small pool of blood. I looked at my fellow bound champions and saw they were just as concerned as I was.

"We must stop this at once before he pushes himself too far!" I yelled to my fellow hunters. They moved at the moment I finished, seeming to just wait for someone to knock them loose of the frozen nature of helplessness.

"Fox! You need to stop!" Yelled Fizz, trying to get his attention. Us four began to advance towards him but were immediately frozen as Fox screamed his next order to us.

"NO! YOU WILL NOT INTERFERE!" He yelled to us. At that, another blast of power made itself known as it gave off a small gust of air. That was strange, why was this one so small. Fox fell to his right knee, bending over in pain which only concerned us more and showed us how weak this all was making him. But as Fox fell to his knee, Diana and Sona went with him, going into defensive stances as they looked up towards the Elders. Why were they not de-syncing with Fox! He was getting gravely hurt from this exploration of power!

"Ahri, the Nine Tailed Fox, bestow upon me the aid of your flames and help me fight this enemy that wishes harm to us. Come forth!" Fox spoke again. Ahri's eyes shot open, her irises having the same effect that her and Fox had shown us before.

"I answer your call summoner, and shall stand with you until you have deemed this fight over." She responded, moving down to his right hand, moving her tails so that they made a slight shield over Fox's right side. Then I noticed that the flames that were controlled in his right hand were now eating away at the fabrics on his arm as they climbed their way to his chest. The flames turned into a light blue at the center of his hand and were growing upwards as well but at a smaller rate than the other flames.

Fox then fell to both knees, more blood coming out of his nose and he coughed up blood this time.

"SUMMONER!" Yelled one of the Elders, which I'm not sure since all my focus was on Fox.

"Cut your links now summoner Fox, or you will bring serious harm to yourself!" Yelled another.

There came weeping from Fox as the blood kept flowing from his nose and mouth. His eyes still hadn't opened and the anti-gravity effect was more intense than it ever had been. It was making each of their clothes pieces and hair blow as if they were falling from a great height.

"I can't! I can't control it anymore!" He screamed back with a voice that sounded scared. I couldn't handle a voice like that coming from a man I deemed a worthy hunter to command me.

"Hunter!" I screamed. He didn't respond to me but continued to weep in a scared tone.

"Hunter!" I tried again. Same result.

"FOX!" I yelled one more time, calling out his name hoping to receive a different result. This time his eyes shot open and he looked over at me. His irises were deep blue, making them almost look black but you could still tell because of the glow. Where the whites of his eyes used to be were glowing pink but changing into a red color as I continued to look at them. Then at the corners of his eyes, there were silver veins growing closer to his irises like an infection was taking over them. His entire face was that of one I had never seen his express, that of a scared child. He mouthed the next words, the words I never thought I would hear him say, words I never want to hear or see him say again.

'Help me.' At that, I got on all fours, roared my loudest and gathered my strength, launching myself at him to try and knock him out so that the power was forced to reside again. His eyes closed again and his face turned from one of scared, to that of pain. Next came a scream, one that sounded like a soldier on his last bit of strength and willpower to fight odds that would for sure kill him.

Another burst of power manifested itself, forming a huge burst of air which lifted me off the ground and blew me back ten feet. Once I landed on my rears, I held my hands up to cover my face from the on-going and overwhelming power that was emitting from Fox. I peeked through the slits in my fingers at Fox who was now looking towards the sky. His back was arched and his arms were bent outwards as if he was gathering even more power. His scream continued in one long howl, and the whites of his eyes were turning into a solid red with his irises almost disappearing, being consumed by the silver veins.

The power that was still emitting from Fox was making it extremely difficult to even take a step towards him. I looked at the huntresses around Fox and saw they took more aggressive positions facing the Elders, Ahri summoning her flames to orbit around her, Sona's fingers were moving furiously, making a green aura come from them and surround herself, and Diana had called forth her orbs, her blade seeming to glow of a silver light. What in Orion's name were they doing?! Our summoner needs their help!

"RENGAR!" screamed a voice from behind me. I turned my head to see Yasuo holding Fizz on his blade, with Fizz crouched over, ready to jump off it in a way. Yasuo took a step back with his left foot and lowered the blade back with his step.

"We launching Fizz at him! We need to get him knocked out of this somehow!" He said to me. I nodded and noticed Aatrox next to them, wings folded behind him and in a runner's position. He bent down and Yasuo launched off his left foot.

"NOW!" He yelled at which he arced his blade forward and Fizz launching off the edge. Aatrox dashed in front of Fizz at a slightly quicker speed and landed a few feet in front of him on his right foot. Fizz grabbed onto his back, at which Aatrox jumped off the ground and a couple of stories into the air, diving back down. As they descended, I reached my right hand back and held it open for the coming Fizz. He jumped off of Aatrox's back just before they reached the ground again, and extended out his hand. As they neared, I lifted off my feet as hard as I could, grabbing his hand and pulling him forward. I threw him with the might of my strength and roared to give him courage.

As he continued towards Fox, whom was still screaming, he cocked back his left fist. He neared Fox with success and threw his punch forward, landing it onto Fox's left cheek. He had so much momentum left over that his weight gave a follow through with the punch, causing an instant halt in the expansion in power from Fox along with his dreadful screaming. As Fizz landed on his feet, sliding a couple of feet from the left over momentum still, he looked at Fox. The aura that was over his entire arm, evaporated into the air along with the flames. The fierce glow around his chest died as well, causing his necklace to fall back to the surface of his skin. Fox was frozen for a moment as if in shock from the hit, falling onto his back and into a small pool of blood.

I rushed forward along with Yasuo and Aatrox so we could look over him to make sure that he was alive.

What was happening? What kind of hidden power did Fox truly hold?

-Final Notes

Oh man guys, I'm really sorry for breaking my goal of releasing a chapter weekly. To be honest, I lost motivation in writing for unknown reasons. But this past couple of days, I had a friend read my story and tell me it was actually really good and he doesn't even play league. It may feel like I ended this chapter prematurely and that's because I cut it in half from my original plans. I'm halfway done with the next chapter and that's because it's been so long since I updated the story that I need to give you guys something to read. So please stay with me and continue to give the fucking fantastic support you guys have been along with the awesome reviews I've been getting. Like this one!

I'm going to be recommending songs to listen to at certain points along with these chapters to add more, shablam! It will always be at the end of the chapter though so there are no spoilers on when you should imagine the scene and put the song in. This chapter doesn't have a song but if you find one that fits, tell me about and I will listen to it and tell ya what I think. Dead serious.

On one more note….I'VE GOT ALMOST 5000 VIEWS! HOLY SHIT! :D
