"The return! Oh how glorious. The humor is great and the story is, as stated before, fit for the gods. Do not worry about time, I'm just glad that you actually get to it. I myself need to get to mine. But in any case, I am in love with the story. And a tad disappointed about the bath outcome but I'm sure there are going to be more chances in the future XD great story." –kewlstory

"More Sona or riot. On a similar note, when exactly will the citrus begin to rain down? It seems that whenever Fox is about to get it on, he makes eye contact with his partner and everything just stops lol. Whatever happens, stay classy. Excelsior!" –WaddleBuff

I apologize to the guests that have left reviews and I didn't put them here. My laptop won't let me pull them from the reviews section and it bothers me but I will find a way to get them on here. I would like to thank you all again for the patience and I hope that I keep up with this story more often. No more excuses. I hope to get this a monthly update but no more than that. I want to keep you all hooked. We are coming close to book one's end but I think I'm going to push more chapters in than I initially had planned because again, the story keeps getting better in my head and I want to have you all in the perfect spot on the cliff when I leave the opening for book two in the air.

Now as for those looking for the romance aspect of the story and noticing how Fox and his female companion fare on a dangerous field of land mines. Do. Not. Worry. We'll get to that soon. Making any and all future chapters have a nice lemon scene to quench your thirst. Be ready my readers.

Let the domination of League fan-fiction continue. Let's rise to the top.

Chapter 13: Climbing the Ranks

-Fox

The week had flown by quickly from the day my champions learned a little bit about my past. It was sooner than I expected to tell them but hey, better now than later when I had no clue on when I was going to tell them. The week started with training with Yasuo and Fizz, deepening my bond with them to which we did. They haven't had any weird episodes where they met the being or rather none of my champions with deep bonds have. He seems to have kept quiet, even while I rest in darkness and continue to train myself in the mind state.

I have yet to have hands on training with Aatrox or Rengar since they have been asking to be excused from practice and going off to do their own thing. I had my curiosity reach its peak a couple of days ago and they simply told me they were getting things ready for our mission. We had decided the three of us will have our mission together so as to deepen our binding faster. Two birds' one stone, fine with me. I had been practicing on the field healing with Sona as well, letting her further into my mind each time, letting her learn more and more secrets so as to deepen our bond there and get my secret weapon stronger. I didn't plan on using that until my fight with Raiden or his stupid Gold ranker bitches that did his bidding. No one knows about the shield but mostly the entire League of summoners knows about Riptide. But after those fight sessions, Sona has been keeping close and seems to have grown deeper feelings for me on a romantic level. Truth is, I think out of the three gorgeous women, I'd choose her. We were the first to bond and have the deepest bond by far.

I have been training with Diana and Ahri, creating new combinations with them that kept me at a distance and let me hit hard and get close in a heartbeat. I do feel that they have their own auras like the Willful power I just haven't felt it yet or reached that level. Ahri has been strangely respectful to me and seems to be flirting in more civil ways instead of so outright and obvious. It's nice. Diana has been keeping her moves until around the time I'd take a bath and would try to get me alone, but Ahri nor Sona seem to be letting her get the chance. So she settles for making small moves while I'm preparing for bed, sneaking in and giving me a kiss on the cheek and running her hand down my chest. She'd leave without letting me respond but I was just as cautious as they were. They seemed to be scared of the being appearing to them again. Guess our talk really had a bigger effect on them than it appeared.

Now we were a day away from the Mock Battles and the bets were beginning to reel themselves in. I tried to pay no attention to them but Fizz and Sona really had a problem since they made their own chart and copied the bet numbers. They of course added in their own money to the numbers, on which summoners would give up right away, which would try and which would push to a target and succeed. But when I actually looked over their shoulder for no particular reason and somehow saw my name, they had me winning the entire thing. Shocker.

Fizz looked at me as I was looking at the chart and did the motion of raising an eyebrow.

"Want to take a gamble Fox?" He asked. I looked at him with a face I didn't mean to give. One of hope.

"Not a chance. I don't gamble."

"Then why'd you say 'not a chance?' That implies you don't know the outcome, therefor are taking a gamble." He said back like the smartass he is.

"Well…" I started to say while thinking of a response.

"Ha. You gamble." He said turning back around and making marks that meant nothing to me. I went back to…toooo….wow, I had nothing to do today. I was going to take this day to rest since I had trained for a week straight but now it's like the days where I didn't do anything and would just relax. Well alright, guess I'll just go watch some matches that the regs are doing today. I looked around and saw five of my seven champions. Rengar and Aatrox were yet again off doing their own thing. I shrugged to myself and slid my hands into my pockets.

"Hey, I'm gonna go watch some league matches. Anyone wanna go with?" I asked. They all seemed to wave me off and continue to do their thing. Ahri was reading a fashion magazine which I'm sure she had plenty of in her room. Diana was looking over some scrolls I said she could read that I had bought over the period of time that I was here at the League. Yasuo seemed to have dozed off and was laying down next to Ahri, his arms crossed and sword against the couch. And Fizz and Sona were still focused on making their bets.

"Nah, were good. Sona and I have some errands to run later and don't want to bother ya with em so have fun man." Said Fizz.

'Yes, take care Fox. I won't be far if you need my attention today so call out if you do.' Sona said to me through our link without looking at me.

Ahri gave me a glance before giving her reason. "Same here, I've got some errands to run but if you need me, let me know."

Diana didn't even look up, but was engross when giving here response. "The same for I summoner. I have errands to run but will be ready at the drop of a hat."

I tilted my head at the metaphor. "Drop of a hat?" I asked and they all just froze and looked at me with a face of surprise, except Yasuo who gave a quick snore.

"You don't even know that one dude? Gods you're falling behind Diana and she was, sorry, IS a moon worshipping crazy. Get your head in the game." He said and that drew him a glance of anger from Diana.

"Quiet lonely fish. Next time choose your words carefully. I do not wish to destroy you so soon but will if your insults continue." She said, turning her attention back to the scroll. Fizz just stuck his tongue out and waved me off again.

"I don't really feel like making fun of you anymore. Busy. See you later Fox." Fizz said. Sona gave me one last look and a gentle wave before going back to her business. I looked at them all again, seeing them here and finally feeling happy to have them all here and bound to me. I turned around and made my way to the door. I left the room quietly and made my way down the hall, taking my time since it was only like, 11:30. Just as I was about to reach the elevator, the doors close and then reopen a couple of seconds later to have Rengar and Aatrox be there. They seemed more surprised than usual and gave a quick bow.

"Summoner." Aatrox said.

"Young Hunter." Rengar said. They both rose quickly and I jerked my head back at the room.

"Everyone is doing their own thing in there but since I'm taking a break today, thought I'd go and do so watching some matches. Either of you want to go with?" I asked, extending the invitation to them since they had spent the least amount of time with me. They gave quick glances to each other, seeming to have a hidden talk of some sort. They turned back to me and Rengar gave a nod and put his paw on his chest.

"I shall accompany you young hunter. Even on League grounds, we should have one of us by your side. We should keep your appearance as best it can be." He said. I gave a nod and looked at Aatrox to see if he would join as well to which he seemed to pick up the question without it being asked.

"I shall not for I have some final things to attend to today regarding our mission. I apologize for not being able to accompany you summoner." He said to my disappointment. Yeah it sucked but we were gonna be together for a while it seemed. They were putting a lot of thought into this mission of ours so I'm guessing it will take quite some time to complete which was fine with me.

"Ooookay. Go ahead and do your thing then man. I'll see ya later. Rengar, let's go get some food." I said, switching places with Aatrox as he left the elevator and made his way to the room. As I watched him, I noticed my bag on his back for the first time, the one I had used on my mission with Fizz, and it was full of something. Must be supplies for the mission. Whatever, guess I'll find out later in the upcoming weeks or whenever the mission is. Rengar pressed the button which took us to the ground floor in just a quick couple of seconds. When the doors closed and opened again, I stepped out and made my way towards the cafeteria. The lobby was packed with people around a bulletin board which must've been the brackets for the Mock Battles. Great. I started making my way towards it to pass them, but Rengar took the lead and started holding his paw hand out to make room for me.

"Move aside summoners. A True Hunter comes and seeks passage." He said and caught the attention of the groups. They gave a weird look of confusion to him and then they saw me and understanding dawned on them as they began making room. I noticed a few smiles and a couple reached out to me to pat me on the shoulder as I walked by. Guess some of my 'fans' were here and that was a way of them wishing me small amounts of luck. How nice.

After making it passed the huge group of people, the clatter of speech and yells of bets going down took place once again and like them for me, the moment passed and I put them out of my mind. Rengar's size next to mine was vast. He stood so much higher than me but with the way he walked hunched over and ready to pounce made him seem smaller in height but definitely not weight. He kept pace with me very well, seeing as it showed he was used to it. My strides were most likely longer than Carah's so it must've been nice to not have to take such small ones.

As we made our way to the view area for those watching others matches, we came to the hallway that held the many doors to the rooms that you would watch the matches in. Usually this hall is pretty filled up with people but today it was pretty scarce. So I went down a couple of doors and found a vacant room. I moved to open the door only to have Rengar stop me with a held out paw hand. I looked at him curiously as if he smelled something wrong, only to see him open the door for I and double check everything. After doing his quick search of the medium sized room, he leaned back out and indicated with a small motion of his hand for me to come in. I smiled at the level of protection he gave me, making it feel like I was one of the senior summoners.

After I made my way in, Rengar closed the door and waited for me to take a seat. I looked for the one I wished to take and ended up taking quick notice of all the nice things in the room. On the wall opposite of the door to get into the room, was a large 80 inch LED Holo TV, with a nice long corner couch to offer a fairly large group comfort to watch games. To the left of that set, there was a counter that was open on both ends and looked to be about seven to eight feet in length. It was marble and gorgeous, accompanied by three tall stools that unless you were eight feet, your feet would touch the ground, only the foot bar running along the counters bottom and stools themselves. Behind the counter there was a sink, faucet, a very nice fridge which I'm sure was full of delicious food, and cabinets filled with silverware. There was a phone next to the fridge to order room service and across from the kitchen area on the other side of the room was another door to the bathrooms. There were two and next to that, there was a couple of extra small round tables and simple wooden chairs to fancy the tables. I went over and sat on the couch, and kicked my feet up, enjoying my day to relax.

"TV, what matches are going on today?" I asked. I'm sure there was going to be a result of about a million matches and as the TV turned on and a small holographic person appeared, the results of my search appeared as well.

"There are currently 1,583,946 matches happening." It said in a male's voice. I always loved how polite these holograms were.

"And how many of those matches just started within the last 10 minutes?" I asked.

"437,578 have started within that time limit, summoner." It responded. I nodded my head and gave my next command.

"Alright. Show me a match that has Azir, Ashe, Leona, Darius and Shaco in on the same team." The system seemed to hum for a minute as it searched for those results and dinged after a minute or two.

"Match found with those requirements. Enjoy the match summoner." The hologram said as it disappeared back into the void of where it came from and pulled up the match. It was two minutes in with a small crowd of 56 people watching. I kicked my feet up and laid my head back, getting comfortable since this was going to be a good match. Azir's team was purple and the others they were facing would be Akali at mid, which shouldn't be too touch of a fight. He will certainly keep her on her toes. Bard was down at bot with Caitlyn, Chogath playing the top lane it seemed with Annie jumping into the jungle. Ooooooooooh, I love a good Annie in jungle role. She's so great at ganks if played perfectly.

"Would you like a refreshment young hunter?" Rengar asked. I gave a quick glance and a nod.

"Yeah, grab me a pop please." I responded, giving my attention back to the already escalating game. It looks like Bard gave a juicy bait at the riverbed near the dragon and Ashe just couldn't resist. She gave a shot, chunking a nice tid bit off and as Bard ran, she pursued. Her support tried to keep up but just couldn't get to her in time before akali hit her with a Mark of the Assassin and having Annie hit her with a fireball, and a regular attack. Chogath hit her with a quick stun and Caitlyn finished her with a Piltover Peacemaker. Azir and his team backed off real fast, trying to minimize their loss and succeeded. They took their safe paths back to their lanes and played it safe from there.

The Blue Team took Purple Teams blue golem with ease and rushed to their own but gave it to chogath, already giving him a decent buff and some nice experience. But once Chogath got to his lane, he had already started pushing too far since Darius wasn't visible to him but I guess the summoner was still somewhat new to the role since Darius was in the closet brush to Blue Teams top tower. Once Chogath had used up half of his mana, Darius went on the offense super-fast and hit him hard. Darius and Chogath were already level two but that didn't matter. Darius wrapped up the fight with an ignite and walked away with the second kill of the game AND blue buff. He was going to get some easy farm as well. Annie better keep up with top lane or else this game was going to be a blood bath.

As the match went on, grave mistakes were had on both ends, but the greatest one was when Annie came up for the perfect gank and Chogath didn't follow through in time. She got the stun off on darius but Chogath was too far to land his and therefor, led Annie into a reverse gank. Darius took her down to half health and gave a bait retreat to let Chogath think he was going to get a kill, only to have Shaco come to pick up the kill on Annie and take her buffs, then help Darius get his fourth kill in the match. Darius hadn't been killed yet and was now basically unstoppable.

As I guess, since Azir was doing his job right and keeping Akali from farming too much and not letting Annie get any great ganks in for her, Akali fell too far behind Darius to catch up and once Darius had taken Blue Teams tower and began to roam with Shaco, the game was basically over. It ended with Blue Teams forfeit at 32 minutes and Darius going 14 and 1. He single handily put the team down and kept them there. It is a true shock but then again not that he hasn't been bound to anyone yet. But when that day comes, I will definitely have to take them on with Rengar. Oh, that'll be a fun game.

I had easily gone through about 4 sodas while watching the one match and when it was over, I turned to look at Rengar, whom had taken a seat next to me and asked him a simple question.

"Yo, want to order any food while we look for the next match?" At that, he turned to me and actually nodded.

"I would summoner. My appetite is growing large. I shall go hunt something for us right away." He said. At that, he stood up and began to leave the room to which I stood with him and waving my hand towards the TV to turn it off.

"Then I'll go back to the room and prepare everything else. Actually, why don't we go to the market and buy some ingredients to make a nice grand meal before the battles tomorrow? I haven't had the chance to sit down with my champions and actually enjoy a meal with you all. Well, an actual good meal. That hospital food doesn't count." I explained. Rengar looked at me and gave a quick nod and his tail began to wag from side to side in a slow manner but fast enough to show his excitement.

"That would be excellent young hunter! Shall we head out right away?" He asked me and I was about to tell him 'sure' but remembered my appearance. I looked down and saw myself in the shabby clothes for a True Summoner, but honestly they were comfortable as fuck so I don't really care. I gave a shrug and opened the door, letting myself out first with Rengar close behind and closing the door behind me. I stopped and turned to look at him.

"Yeah, might as well just go now. I know, I don't look the best but I really don't care. I need to get my weapon from the room though, just in case I need it." I said to Rengar, whom came to my side and we began walking towards the lobby. Rengar gave a nod and fell a little behind me, almost like a body guard. I'm really starting to love how professional Rengar is with me in public. It's perfect for the role he is going to have when in the presence of the general people. After that quick thought, I reached out to Sona or Ahri or Fizz and felt the connection to one of them.

'Yes dear?' I heard in Sona's voice. I made a face automatically from the whole "dear" thing. It kinda freaked me out.

'Sorry…should I not do that?' She asked again and I just shook my head in reaction, even though she couldn't see me actually shaking my head.

'No, no, its fine. Just caught me off guard is all. Hey, I need you to bring me my blade.' I said back to her. I felt a ting of satisfaction in my mind, kind of like she just shared an emotion she was feeling.

'Understood Fox. Should I bring it to you in the lobby?' She asked in a very polite tone. I tried to mimic the sharing of emotions thing she did to show my approval of the place.

'Yeah. Rengar and I will be waiting here for you.' I said. I felt the satisfying emotion again before her answer.

'Okay. I'm on my way now.' She said before going silent.

As we reached the end of the hall, we could begin to hear a crowd again, whether it was the same one making the bets on all of the winners of the mock battles tomorrow or a completely different bunch. When we turned into the main room of the Institute, the crowds were even bigger than they were before. The board that had a bracket on it with the money pool next to the winners being bet on, was now rolled onto one of those portable stages that are used for major match announcements. Along with the board, there were about four people who looked really important, whom stood around it talking amongst each other. As I began to walk around the huge groupings of people, they didn't seem to care too much or notice me so I didn't want to be rude and interrupt their talks. Rengar seemed to have a completely different feel about the matter and began to do as he did before and clear me a path. I simply grabbed his forearm as best I could and halted him. He turned to look at me and I just gave him a shake of my head giving the motion to not do what he was about to do. He gave one simple nod and followed me around the groups.

As we hugged the outside wall, making our way to the main entrance, Sona was already there with my sword. Impressive, to say the least. She saw Rengar and me and gave a smile. I returned it as we made our final few steps and reached out for it. She covered the rest of the distance and handed it to me with a small bow. I admired that and made a quick note of it in my thoughts, which she could obviously hear.

'Nice touch.' I thought.

'Thank you summoner.' She responded.

As I fastened my sword around my waist, I made one final quick look at the people around the board on the small stage, to which they had stopped whispering amongst themselves and sent for a summoner with the robes of a Platinum ranker. She held up her hands as if to silence everyone. It took them a couple of minutes to quiet down and she was looking around the groups of people, nodding at faces she seemed to recognize. I crossed my arms, thinking of leaving but I was curious as to what they were going to say. As she looked over to me, I couldn't tell if she had a smile on or if she had on a frown of displeased emotion that I was there. Either way, I didn't care.

"Quiet down summoners!" She yelled to which the final voices that had gotten softer and hushed themselves to whispers, did as she asked. After the tone of everyone's voices were at the pitch she desired, she brought her hands together in a single clap and rubbed them together as if plotting an evil plan. "Now, thank you all again for your support in the mock battles and increasing the rep every year and adding into the 'Pool of Victors'. Doing this has made the participants that much greater and more desirable. Now this year's pool is even bigger with the grand prize winner walking away with 2 million IP." As she said the number of the final prize, everyone seemed to gasp and cheer a bit, giving quite a few claps. Even my eyebrows went up from surprise and my jaw dropped a bit.

"Two million IP? That's just…wow." I said. Rengar seemed to be nodding himself at my right along with Sona on my left.

"Indeed. That could buy me a new set of armor and traps for even the greatest prey." Rengar said. I gave a cock of my left eyebrow along with my nod. Guess that's one way to look at it. I put my attention back to the stage as did others in the crowd, back onto the Platinum ranker.

"Okay, now that is just the base number. Now this all depends on the final match and who will be in it, but that also depends on you guys! Now the way that will work is that the True Summoners all have their own matches with rankers of Diamond and below or any summoner that is. But anyone above the rank of Diamond may not challenge a True Summoner unless they accept the match. Now for you guys, how you can determine the final matches and what not, as you see here, these are the names of every bound summoner along with their champion. We have made the bracket for your summoner orbs so you can get better details any time from now till the end of all the matches tomorrow. Based on what you see and who you think will win, you can make more bets on matches you'll want to see as the day goes on. An example of this is say Shane and Shaco, The Puppeteer Duo beat say, Gary and Gregas, The couched duo. A lot of you would be shocked seeing as how they have lost quite a few spars with them, so that would spur you on to want to see more fights that might pit them against odds in which would normally be hard for them to overcome. The results are that they would fight someone that counters them more. The more that they win, the more that you win but that's only in situations in which the win is not an easy one. Get it?" She wrapped up.

I nodded thinking this was fair to an extent. Now, I had a feeling that no matter who my first challengers are that once I beat them because I didn't like to brag too much but, I will beat them, people are going to notice quickly.

'They already seem to know summoner. You have quite a few people already looking at you.' Sona said to me. I looked to her then my eyes darted around to see who she was talking about. To which she meant half the crowd. They seemed to mostly be grinning at me with a couple of people giving more sinister smirks and cracking their knuckles. To those people I simply synced with Sona quickly, reaching out to her to which she accepted quickly. I called forth our power, keeping my arms crossed and letting the power rise quickly and once I felt it reach a certain height, I released it outwards giving a burst of air out towards the crowd. Sona came closer to me, her arms close to her body and our eyes I'm guessing were glowing. I saw Rengar take a couple steps forward and let his prongs on his left gauntlet unhook and be erect, ready for use. He gave a menacing growl and thus completed the scene of my reaction to petty intimidation. They seemed to get the picture and held their hands up in false innocence as Fizz did sometimes when his jokes feel flat.

I let the sync go just as quick as I had called it. I had heard enough of this, I'll deal with the rest of it tomorrow. I turned to leave, sliding my hands into my loose pockets. Forgot that I had really casual clothes on. Nobody seemed to want anything else from me after my little display, but they returned their attention back to the Platinum ranker who seemed to be explaining more rules but I already knew all the rules I needed to know.

As I left the Institute, Rengar continued to follow me, Sona close behind. She was on my right now while Rengar followed close behind on my left.

'Do you mind if I come as well summoner?' She asked in our minds. I gave a nod and looked over at Rengar.

"Yeah, that's fine. Right Rengar? It's cool if Sona comes along with us?" I asked him, to which he returned a nod.

"Of course summoner. The more protection we have for you, the greater. Now no hunter shall choose to prowl against you with two of your strongest with you." He replied. I chuckled and turned to look at him.

"Really? My Two strongest? What makes you think that?" I asked.

"The silent huntress and I have spoken of this and we believe to be your greatest champions as of now and for the future. She was the first one in which you deepened your bond and has the deepest bond yet, while I am still strong with you and have yet to sync our great minds together. Once we do Fox, we shall be the greatest hunters this world shall ever see!" He exclaimed, riling himself up to a cheering roar. I gave a hearty laugh, the air exploding from my lungs as the words struck home in my humor senses. I looked back from either of them to see completely serious faces which was odd to see on Sona's face. I let the laughter die down to a small chuckle as we continued to make our way to the small market.

"What is so humorous about my saying young hunter?" Rengar asked me. I shook my head and sighed.

"Oh nothing. It's nice to see such confidence in you two. I was simply thinking of how the others would react if they heard you say that. But, that doesn't matter, I won't tell them of what you guys think. That stays between us." I finished saying.

We continued talking about various things as we came up to the market. Sona and I shared a few laughs from jokes we told of the others. Good thing they weren't here or they wouldn't be having it with our jabs. Of course Rengar couldn't hear her gorgeous laugh so it must've sounded weird outside of our heads. Once I saw the stalls, I began pondering what it is that we should have to eat tonight before the big day tomorrow. But, as soon as the three of us became visible to the people in the market, I heard gasps and exclamations. Eyes darted towards us, lips began speaking of us in hushed words, and it was like I was a celebrity.

I was a bit edgy at this reaction since I'm so used to being ignored, but I guess this is what comes with the power I showed. I put my hands back in their pockets and put on a small smile so as to not appear that intimidating. After I passed the first stall seeing them selling assorted fruits, I slowed down to see which kind they had. I turned to stand in front of it, a couple of people stepping back a little so as to give me and my champions room, and I saw that the fruits the short salesman had were none that I wanted to feed my champions tonight. So I gave a sigh, looked at the man and gave a nod. He returned one and I went on my way.

I passed a couple more stands, not noticing anything enticing for the meal I was still planning. I then come up on one of the meat stalls. I definitely stopped there and browsed their selection. No one seemed to be attending the stall at the moment but I still looked at their selection. They had all different cut sizes of antelilla deer. This is the perfect main dish meat. I wanted all of it but the attendee was still nowhere to be seen. I looked around for someone to see if they would catch my curiosity in their wares, only to see none. Then there was a ding on the counter that startled me. I turned to see what it was and was greeted by Sona's hand over a bell that I failed to notice. I gave a nod of approval and thanked her.

Shortly after, a tall, sleek and quite built woman came out from behind the curtain which I'm sure lead to a small room where the rest of the meat was kept. Her features were of mild beauty, dark skin like mine, Dark brown hair to accompany it. Her eyes were a piercing green and she had a well-rounded face. She might be the one who actually hunts these creatures. She held a small smile as she wiped her hands clean of something.

"Hello sirs and miss. Welcome to my small meat stand. How may I help you today?" She asked. Her voice was deeper than Ahri's but not anywhere as sweet.

"Yes, hello shopkeeper. I was looking for a delectable meat choice for this evening. I have several champions to feed, these two being part of that group. I noticed the antelilla deer meat you have here and it seems perfect for what I had in mind." I said in my best natural customer tone of voice.

"Well, mind if I ask what kind of dish kid?" She asked. Kid? Did I really look that young?

"That would be two main dishes as meat products. I have an amphibious champion to feed and yet another that has a more feline appetite," I began to which I was slightly interrupted when Rengar gave a small reminding growl. I looked at him quickly and held up a finger. "Ah yes, two feline appetites. So I can't have something that's too meaty, I need something I can roast for a couple of hours that will end with an extremely tender taste and melt in their mouth if they take their time, but also something that will cave easily to canine teeth if they so desire to gulp it down in a couple of bites. But I also have a few others that don't eat as much but I want them to be just as full and enjoy the meal as much as the others, so it needs to fill them if they eat just a couple of pieces. It also needs to be able to absorb the spices I have planned which are a 4 through 6 on the pyro scale." I finished up with a smile. The woman seemed to stop cleaning her hands and just stared at me as I said this to her.

"Got something like that?" I asked her. She gave a face of approval I guess and went back into her room behind the shop front. It was just a few seconds before she came back out with an entire plater of different cuts of meats. She uncovered it to reveal the exact meats that were present but seemed to be fresher.

"The meats from some fresh game my son and I caught earlier today. Just skinned it." She said.

I brought my hand to my chin and rubbed it while I observed the meats. "How old were they?"

"Four years, 3 months, 1 week and a quarter of the moon. Had been watching them for a couple of years and helped keep their diet clean. Even gave them some of my own plants to which it made them age slower and made them stronger." She said, to which I looked up at her.

"Really? Very nice. You don't come across people like you often. I'm impressed." I said.

"You ain't the only one kid. They herbs I gave to them made them more susceptible to the meat absorbing the spices from 2 through 8. So this should be what you're looking for." She said. I gave a satisfying nod and clapped my hands together.

"Perfect! I'll take it! What's your name and price?" I asked.

"Names Bertha. And I'm asking for 10,000 IP." She said. Rengar seemed to be taken back by that number and Bertha noticed.

"I don't care if you think that's steep. I put years into hunting this one and caring for it. Its meat is specific and needed for expert cooks. This price seems fair to me for yours. He aint no different." She said.

"He is different Elder one! He is a summoner of the Institute of War and a True summoner at that! He is not to be taken as a regular man." Rengar said. I turned to him quickly and gave a sinister glare.

"Rengar! Watch how you speak to someone of such grace! I am a regular man and I'm not to be treated any differently! Look, the price she said was not unfair in any aspect. It is an extremely fair price and one I will pay gladly. So next time, you will only speak when I ask for your input, understand?!" I said in a stern voice. Rengar bowed his head towards Bertha and me.

"Understood summoner! I apologize for speaking out of turn. Elder Bertha, I apologize as well if I disrespected you. Please forgive me." He said in a kinder voice than the one he used before. I turned back to Bertha as well and gave a bow to show my apologies for him.

"I too apologize for his behavior and will pay that price graciously." I said. She seemed to wave me off and gave a smirk.

"Don't worry about it kid. You seem to know your stuff about these creatures so don't let it bother ya. Apology accepted cat. I know pride when I see it, and if I'm not mistaken, you're the Pridestalker aint ya?" She asked. Rengar brought his head up and his face seemed to glean in being recognized. I think I saw his tail wagging too.

"Yes Elder Hunter. You know of me then?" He asked. She gave a light chuckle and a nod.

"Of course. My son can't stop talking about ya and how he's going to be your true summoner someday. He sees you as a huge role model. Too bad you're bound to that new kid. The one who seems like a dick." She said. At this my eyelid twitched.

"Like a…like a what?" I asked, leaning against the counter.

"Like a dick. He does so many flashy moves that don't really seem necessary, know what I mean kid?" She said.

"Flashy? Nope, don't know what you're talkin about ya old bag…" I said, knowing that she knew it was me she was talking about. She gave a smirk and leaned on the counter as well, grabbing a nearby knife and stabbing its point into the wooden chopping board.

"Old bag huh? What happened to the respect you were given meh not too long ago kid?" She asked, her sarcasm becoming clearer. I put my right hand onto my blade and gave it a good grip.

"Don't know who this kid is, maybe he was the one given you respect. What would I know, I'm just the Dick adult that is bound to the cat." I said with a sarcastic tone of my own.

"Well, there was one thing right about what you said." She said.

"And that is?" I asked, almost daring her to repeat what I think she was going to say.

"That you're a Dick. Kid." She said with a smirk. At that I started drawing my blade only to have Sona stop me from pulling it out the rest of the way.

'Summoner, don't. Be like you said. An adult.' She said. I stared at the old bag, wanting to just cut her a little bit, just a little to help get rid of some of this anger. But I did as Sona suggested and slid my blade back into its holder.

"Just give me the damn meat, old bag." I said as I dropped the money onto the counter. She let go of the knife and chuckled as she picked it up.

"Thanks kid. Lookin forward to future business with ya." She said with a grin on her face. Gah, hate the fact that I'm developing a sense of respect for her. Unbelievable. Whatever. I motioned for Rengar to pick up our unprepared food and he did so with ease, throwing it over his right shoulder.

As we walked down the rest of the market, we found a stall that carried fruit from every known country of the lands the League protects and what not. We took quite a few from there and the rest of the spices and ingredients I would need, I already had. So we left the market and headed back to the Institute. Once we got there, I expected the crowd of summoners to still be there making bets but apparently I had been shopping for an hour or so and the hall was back to its normal amount of bustling students. There were a couple of groups here and there still whispering to themselves on own personal bets but other than that, the entrance was clear. I made my way past without any incident and entered the elevator with my champions. Once Rengar had squeezed in with all of the groceries, the doors closed and reopened a few seconds later with us on our floor. We exited to the hallway and made our way to our room with no words to say.

I stopped at the door, pulling out my card to enter and just before I could swipe, I heard a small squeal. My hand froze a little before the sensor to the door as I tried to place the sound. I focused on my hearing to see if anything wrong was going on inside of the room. That was the first problem. There wasn't anything moving, breathing, and no sound at all. I could still sense my champions inside though. What the hell?

"Why have you stopped summoner? Is something wrong?" Rengar asked, to which I turned my head slightly and bringing my index finger up to my lips, giving a small signal of shushing him. He did as I said and kept his mouth shut. I turned to Sona to do the same thing to which what I saw from her was odd. She was blushing. As I reached out to her mentally, I couldn't get through. I pushed a little harder, barely getting in to hear her thoughts and I heard something alarming.

'Please don't hear me. Please don't hear m-'Was what she seemed to be repeating in her head until she shut me out again. I didn't pry anymore, only squinting my eyes and turning my attention back to the door. So, they were trying to hide something from me huh…I quickly ran ideas in my head as to how I should approach the situation. The only sneaky way I could do this was to teleport into my room and peek from there. I whispered the spell and disappeared to my room. I landed quietly onto my bed and froze, hoping to give a moment to let any possible sound ease out so as to not give away my position. After a second, Rengar and Sona burst through the doors and I heard a very fast and loud, "WELCO-"in multiple voices, but they were quickly silenced by someone who didn't make any sounds. Must've been Sona. The doors sounded like they closed behind them and I took that as my chance to get off the bed, hug the wall and activate ghost, just in case they decided to check in here for me.

At which, was just in time since the door to my room opened and Sona stepped in. I froze, hoping she didn't decide to do a quick run of her hands against the wall or something. She scanned the room with her eyes, seeming to focus with all her might. She must've been hoping to see a shimmer or something since that would've worked on an amateur if they didn't know how to cast the spell to its full potential, but I did and I couldn't be seen if I wasn't moving, even if you kinda knew where I was in the room. She looked near the bed, from where I jumped and stared at it hard. I looked to where she was and saw that I left an indent from the place I had teleported to. Shit. Sloppy. She knew I was in the room. But what she didn't know was that the second she looked away, I was going to teleport into Diana's room. Good thing I slipped small things into each of their rooms for situations like this and others that could happen. Sona began walking towards my bed but stopped when Rengar called out to her.

"Is our summoner in his abode silent huntress?" He asked from the main room. She didn't respond obviously, only continued to looking around the bed for any other signs of my presence. She then began following some invisible path that I took and looked directly at the place I was still standing, now holding my breath to hold off any sounds she may track. Doing this slowed my heartbeat down to a considerably more controllable pace. Her eye level stayed at my chest area, then she took a step towards me only to stop when Rengar called out to her again.

"Silent huntress! What is happening?" He said. At this, she rolled her eyes and walked to the door. Taking this as my chance, I cast teleport again and appeared in Diana's room. I kept myself still, just in case they heard anything. I looked around to see I had landed near her nightstand. It was made of Darkwood from the Night Forest of the Moon. This is a rare substance, wonder where she ordered it from. Her bed was still as plain as before, the minimum amount of sheets, all different shades of purple. The bed was messy in the top right corner near her Darkwood headboard. Man, where is she getting all this Darkwood? I took a quick look around the room to see if it was clear and lower the quality of the spell.

It was a relatively medium sized room, with the bed taking up maybe a fifth of it all. Across from her bed was her closet, which was closed but I'm sure she didn't have too big of a selection. Next to that, close to the open door to the hallway was a desk that had a bunch of scrolls on it. There had to be a good 20 to 30 scrolls good gods that's a lot. The rest of the room was clean. I lowered the spell so I was still virtually invisible just that if anyone knew the vicinity I was in, they would find me quickly. I walked towards the open door and peeked my head out, looking down the hallway and seeing my champions facing my room. I stepped out, making myself light as I placed my feet onto the carpet. Once I made it so I could see most of the main room but was still in the hallway, I stopped and increased the spells quality again and watched.

As Sona came out of the room, still looking suspicious of something, she closed the door and shook her head. I looked at the rest of them and saw that they had on strange cloaks, each with a different color. The cloaks were simple from the back, no details to notice, just a solid color that suit them. So Fizz had a dark blue cloak, Rengar had a Dark green one on, don't know where he got it from. Ahri had on a darker shade of pink for hers, Diana of coarse had on a dark purple, Aatrox a dark crimson like red, Yasuo a clear almost colorless shade of grey and white. His was weird but I guess he had to imitate the color of air the best he could. And Sona didn't have one on, but I'm sure she would conjure it just the same as Rengar did, from thin air.

She looked to be in deep thought and still pondering, while Rengar took a couple of steps towards her.

"What is it silent huntress?" He asked her. She held up a hand and looked around the room. She skimmed over the hallway I was standing in but didn't notice anything out of the ordinary. She then pointed to Rengar and Ahri, then pointed at her nose. They seemed to understand her since they began to make audible sniffing noises. I wonder if this spell also made me odorless at its highest quality. We were about to find out.

"Anything?" Yasuo asked. Ahri and Rengar kept at it for another moment then stopped and shook their heads.

"Nope, I got nothing. How bout you?" Ahri asked. Rengar crossed his arms looking at Sona.

"I too smell nothing. What is it we were trying to sniff out?" Rengar asked with a serious face.

"Was that a fucking pun?" Fizz asked. Sona rose her hand to his question with haste and glared at him almost.

'This is no time for jokes Fizz. We need to know where Fox is so we can surprise him with our new looks.' She said in an open channel through our minds. I forgot she could do that once the bond was deep enough. Bet she forgot I was needed to be the middle man. Her hand shot to her mouth as she seemed to hear my thoughts.

'Oh shoot.' She thought. Haha, mistake number one Sona. What do you think the next will be?

'Gosh, this mind connection is tricky.' She thought again.

'What? Why is it tricky?' thought Ahri. I filled in what she missed quickly and she gave a groan.

"Dammit." Said Fizz out loud. This seemed to draw the attention of Yas, Rengar and Aatrox since their bonds weren't deep enough to hear what was going on.

"What? What's wrong?" Yasuo asked. Fizz flailed his arms and hands around the room.

"Fox knows. Sona forgot that in order to talk to Ahri, Diana and me through her mind, she needed Fox who is like the middle man for us. So she just told him what the big news was." He said. I was chuckling in my mind and the four seemed to be able to hear it.

"Shut up and come forth already since you ruined the surprise we worked so hard to keep." Said Diana.

I chuckled out loud this time and dismissed the spell, walking into the room. They all turned to look at me as I materialized. I'm sure the first thing they noticed was the huge grin on my face since I succeeded yet again at evading them.

"Why do you have to ruin the nice things we do for you?" Ahri asked, placing her right hand on her hip. As the cloak moved with her arm, pulling itself aside and revealing a portion of what she was wearing underneath. I got a glance at her wardrobe and cocked an eyebrow at the detail I saw on her pants she had on. She saw my glance and quickly covered it back up. I looked up at her only to see her stick her tongue out at me. I looked over at the rest of them and saw them begin to move into a clump, covering Sona, who was maneuvering herself.

"Well, from what I saw under Ahri's robe thingy, I'm guessing she's changing into whatever you guys have whipped up. Alright, I'll give back the element of surprise." I held my hands up, in false innocence and turned to the couch and sat with my back to them, crossing my arms. I started running over attack moves in my mind, seeing my blade glide through the air as Yasuo had taught me. It's smooth edge gliding through the air with such simplicity. It flowed so easily and gracefully in my hands as I went through slashes. I don't know how long I sat there going through the strokes but I was eventually drawn out of it by Diana.

"Alright Fox, we are ready." She said. My eyes opened slowly, preparing myself for whatever I was about to turn around to. I took a couple of moments and gave a quick sigh and stood up. I turned around to see them all lined up but forming a half circle. I jumped over the back of the couch and planted my feet while resting my but on the top of the couches back so as to be slightly sitting down. I motioned for them to show me with my right arm while moving the finish of my motion into folding my arms.

They had lined up as such from my left to my right. Aatrox, Yasuo, Diana, Sona, Ahri, Fizz, and Rengar. I looked at Sona whom had on a light green cloak for her color. As I looked over them one last time, Aatrox revealed his left arm by grabbing the inside of his cloaks edge, and yanking it down and away revealing his attire underneath, completely ripping the cloak while pulling it away. He wore a new outfit and one that made him look like a straight badass.

He wore a new gauntlet, well, one that covered his natural one. It was a dark black leather with a golden red embroidering on its edges. It had his and my symbol on it with different shades of red. He wore no shirt, but he did have a small cape like clothe over his right shoulder. It had the same type of red embroidering around the edges and the cape went down to just a little below his waist. It was small and seemed to only have the purpose of covering his right arm if he so chose to have it do that. He also had a think clothe belt around his waist that had a small tuft of fur on his left hip. The belt was probably covered a good two inches of his waist. It too was a dark red but blended well with his skin tone. He had two smaller leather belts just hanging around his waist, ones that looked like they could hold a blade if he wanted to. Once my eyes moved to Yasuo, he did the same as Aatrox and grabbed the inside of his cloak and yanked it away, ripping it slightly.

Yasuo was just as badass.

He had on a shirt believe it or not, one that was also embroidered with a unique design that had the winds blowing. It was mostly hugging the bottom left of his shirt, having a soft blue glow to it. The rest of the shirt was a glossy black that complimented the overall look of the outfit. The collar of his shirt had a grey fur along the entire back of his neck that rose to cover the entirety of the back of his neck. The shirt was long sleeved and went down to his wrists, but had a hole cut of for his thumb to slip into. There seemed to be a different texture on his palm, one that probably gave him a better feeling for his blade and giving him a grip. His right shoulder had a shoulder guard, one that was mostly made of leather. It hugged his shoulder comfortably it seemed, covering most of it. His gauntlets were of the style of Aatrox's, being made of a dark leather with our symbol in the middle of it. His pants were of the usual bagginess, going down to the middle of his shin and grabbing at it for dear life it seemed. They too were a glossy black but didn't have any detail to them. His usual rope belt was the same except that it was a darker color. The last feature that I noticed seem to be that he was actually wearing boots, that seemed sleek, sticking close to the meat on his bones, coming to a fine point but it was flattened at the tip.

I gave a big nod of approval as he crossed his arms with a grin. I looked over to Diana as she followed suit to Aatrox and Yasuo, but with more grace and unfastening the tie that held the cloak shut. As it was thrown aside, I finally saw what she was hiding which was nothing short of the badassery that Aatrox and Yasuo's new outfits had. Her blouse was a dark, glossy purple that was buttoned up to the top. Her breasts weren't being shown in any extreme disregard which she pulled it off very nicely. The sleeves were a bit longer than a regular t-shirt, but were complimented with the dark greyish purple fur that was around her shoulders. Her design was a simple moon and a few dot that seemed to represent stars in the bottom left corner of her blouse. Her blouse fell a little below the waist, slightly covering her own belts she had arranged in different ways. Her pants were kind of like Yasuo as they ended around her shin possibly. I couldn't tell because of her sleek boots that looked like mine. They didn't have the same design but they had the same look. Her gauntlets were of the same nature as Yasuo and Aatrox, same look just the symbol was different. The last thing to notice was the small, slim crown she had made for herself. It rested on top of her head, coming to the middle of her forehead and had a small blue gem in the middle of it. With her hair down the way it was, it looked really good.

She too crossed her arms with a grin as I gave my look of extreme satisfaction. This was awesome.

Looking at my gentle Sona next, she was more sheepishly shy than the others but she was graceful none the less. As her cloak fell to the ground, she revealed complete sun dress with both sides cut open at her waists and going down to the end of the dress so as to give her better room to run in if need be. It showed off her fantastically sexy legs that I eyed more than I should have. The design was in the same area as the ones before her, her having dark green music notes that seemed to be floating on a water's surface. The rest of the dress was a simple dark glossy grey that felt a little out of place but it still worked somehow. She had on flat shoes that were straight black with tiny bows at the tips of her foot which added a little adorableness to the sexiness she had. Her dress seemed to have a sash running down her chest from her right shoulder to her left hip. Her fur was smaller than the others and was starting at the back of her neck on the dress and running its way down to just above her waist. It had a green tint to it as well but wasn't as thick as the others. She had a lone gauntlet on her right forearm that had our symbol on it. Underneath the gauntlet, covering her entire forearm and half of her bicep was a glossy sleeve the same color as the dress and made her look way classier. She also redid her hair it seems to a fashion kind of like Miss Fortune. She had cut it so that she had bangs and they covered her left eye, with two strands like mind in it as well though but they were looser but woven into the more fastened hair in the back. The rest of her hair was straight with the extra bundles of it in a simple loose ponytail. It was gorgeous.

I looked her over two more times, baffled at her overall gorgeousness then noticed myself spending too much time looking at her and moved on. I looked Ahri next whom was eagerly waiting to reveal her own outfit.

She did as Diana did and took hers off more gracefully than the next. Hers she didn't throw but let fall to the ground. She too had on a nice blouse but this one looked more along the lines of a dress since it fell lower than Diana's. She too hid her breasts more than usual and it fit nicely. As I started seeing the patterns of their attire, I noticed she too had a style in the corner, but with three hearts. Hers had no sleeves but her gauntlets had the fur on them instead, insulating the insides of her arms it seemed. Her attires fur seemed to have a pinkish tint, adding on to each one of their outfits having striking similarities yet completely different looks. She too had on pants that were like Diana, ending in the middle of her shins, strapped to her bones to make sure it doesn't ride up too far. Her footwear was more on the strapped sandals that went up to her knees. She had knee guards there accompanied by fur on the inside of the caps. Her tails seemed to have turned a darker color but still contained their glacier whiteness. They just seemed to be pulsing a dark wave every now and then. I nodded at hers enthusiastically, giving a double take over my champions so far. They all looked amazing so far, so I moved my attention back to the last two. Looking down towards the ground to see Fizz, his cloak was a little more sophisticated and seemed to be a part of his overall look, since he split it apart in the back down the middle and tucked into his belts he had around his waist. He pulled up the hood of his dark blue cloak, which once it rested on his head, the fur lining the inside edges swayed slightly from a breeze and seemed to have a misty effect, dripping and lingering around his hoods edges. He had on custom fit gauntlets for his smaller body portions which held the same design and look as the others with the small changes like the rest. His was not even slightly badass as the others, just straight up sick. I chuckled from my thoughts and held up my right arm with my left, running my hand down my face in just awe from how great they looked so far. I held my hand over my mouth and I looked at Rengar to do the final reveal.

He did the final ripping away, tearing it in more places than Aatrox. As the sheds fell to the ground, I looked over him with overwhelming awe.

His usual look of having bones and trophies displaying on him was away with. There was now just the simple bone tooth necklace he was known for around his neck. He didn't have huge overwhelming shoulder pads, instead small leather ones. They complimented his build just the same and seemed to give him more movement range. His chest piece was almost the same but with the similar decal to it of claw marks with a single claw bone. His leather straps and eye patch straps were the same placing, just darker shades. The fur Rengar had was at the base of his loin cloth between his legs and around his waist in general, like he had a belt of fur. The leather straps that were around both his legs like a type of pants were simple zig zag leather straps on his upper thighs, but they stayed the same around his ankles and bare feet except on his toes. The leather thigh guards he had were the same and had fur on their edges. His gauntlets were essentially the same except on his left gauntlet, his prongs were gone and were now on the inside so as to be more concealed. He too seemed to have a small cape that was on his left shoulder that if he drew to his front would cover most of his arm. He fit more along the role of an assassin but that basically is what he was, well, with how I'd play him. After I gave him one more look over, I looked back over the rest of them, seeing them watching and observing me just as much as I was them.

I gave another sigh and ran my hand down my face again, nodding my head.

Ahri's eyes and ears seemed to drop a little from my expression.

"Is there something wrong with the way we look, summoner?" She asked. Summoner? We're alone, why is she calling me that? I shook my head and stood up straighter, putting my hands at my side and looking them each in the eye to get their full attention. As they gave it to me, they stood to a more army like stance; straight, attentive and ready for orders. I gave them a bow, and once I rose back up, they summoned their weapon of choice and knelt down with its end in the floor.

"Usque in Finem, summoner." They all said at once, even Sona said it at the same time with our link.

I gave a quick smile and repeated them.

"Usque in Finem, my sins."

Preparing the meal took almost 2 hours to make solely on the fact of the sheer amount I had to make, but it went a lot faster when I pulled the links with my champions I had them with and they did as I said. Seeing as the final food preparations were put onto the table I had ordered to have delivered while we made the food, I had all my champions have their seats. I was making final clean ups from the messes we did make. I didn't hear any silverware being moved around or any plops of food hitting plates. I dried off the last tool and began drying off my hands with one of the various towels that were around the kitchen. When I turned the corner of the cupboards and saw why I hadn't heard any of the utensils being used, it only brought another smile to my face. They had made idle chatter but mostly waited for me to join them before they began to eat. But then my face of joy whittled away to one of loneliness as my memories of all the nights being alone, starving myself so as to teach myself discipline. Such cold nights they were and just…so quiet.

By the time I came back to it, my champions had turned their attention to me with Sona right next to me, her arm on mine. When did she get up to stand next to me? I looked her in the eyes, a wetness on the brink of falling down my face, one I hadn't felt in a while. One I swore I would never display to others again. Sona's face was one of complete a solely compassion as she placed her hand on my left cheek and wiping it away before it could make its sad journey down my cheek.

'Fox, what is it? What's wr-'she began to communicate but stopped once I felt her watch a trace of my memories. I immediately locked her out and desynced from her, taking a step back swiftly. Her hand shot with me for an instance but she held back the full length it seemed it wanted to do. The others responded to the reaction of both me and her, Diana shoving her chair onto its hind legs and making it fall over, already a step towards me before I raised my hand to stop her. She held, waiting for some sign or word that I actually was okay.

"Fox, what's wrong?" Yasuo asked, already on his feet as well.

"Nothing. Just, old habits is all." I gave a weak smile as I said that, the memories trying to force their way up as if they had a purpose to show themselves.

"It doesn't look like nothing man…" Said Fizz, concern clear on his voice.

"Why? Cause I got static shock from Sona?" I asked, trying to hide my small freak out.

"No, because I've never seen you cry before." He said pointing to my right eye. That was when I felt it fall. It was quick, but it felt like fastest little waterfall to hit my cheek as it made its way down to the edge of my face. I brought my right hand up to check if what I felt was real or not. Once the wetness touched the tip of my finger tip, it confirmed my fear. I knew it would happen soon, but I didn't think it would happen while they were all present. I ignited my finger quickly and prepared myself enough for the pain I was about to endure. I kept my finger ablaze with the spell and started at my bottom eyelid and felt the burning sensation of the fire began to melt away the memories that showed themselves. I winced at the pain but knew it all too well, running my finger slowly down my cheek in the path of the tear as a small fiery mop and swept away the water that was called tears.

My champions took hasty steps towards me, confusion clear on their faces, but I held up my hand to keep them back as I finished this, and they obeyed. I finished the streak, and felt the burn of spell began to crack my skin. I called forth heal into the same hand that dealt the damage, placing it quickly on my face and began to heal the burn. After a moment, the spell ended and I pulled away my hand, closing it and bringing my hands to my sides. I had my eyes closed the entire time but as I opened them, I was looking at the floor, but diverted my attention to my champions, whom each had a face of horror on but all at different levels, with Sona at the worst it seemed, completely horrified at the simple act I did. Her hands were over her mouth, her own tears about to run. I gave a hearty smile and a chuckle.

"What's the matter with you guys? Never seen a man cry?" I asked in a new positive tone so as to move on from what they just witnessed.

"I've seen plenty of men cry in my days, Fox. Never have I seen one do what you did." Aatrox said. I looked at him with a cock in my eyebrow.

"Really? All I did was wipe them away. No biggie at all." I said with a shrug moving to my seat.

"No. You BURNED them away, as if to never cry again. That isn't what men do." He said. I slowed myself as I neared my chair, pulling it out and sitting myself down at the head of the table. Apparently it's where Sona was sitting next to but she was still looking at me with a face filled with horror. I did not want to be in her head right now.

"So what? I'm not a man?" I pulled my napkin off the table and unrolled it to put it onto my lap. I hope I was doing this 'basic table manners' correctly in this setting. Been a while since I read that book.

"Not one from my lifetime." Aatrox said, putting himself back into his chair and doing as I did with his napkin. I looked around at everyone else who still had their eyes trained on me like a bomb that was about to explode. I motioned for them to sit.

"Well come on guys. Foods not going to eat itself." I said. I waited a watched them as they looked at each other finally, exchanging glances and silent words. They slowly took their seats and stared at their plates, not moving to grab any food. I waited a couple more moments before moving to grab some of the excellent bilge water crab meat we got. As I was moving some pieces onto my plate, the questions began to rise.

"How many times have you cried since you woke up on that mountain side?" I heard Fizz ask. I froze and looked up at him, a small grin on my face. I didn't answer right away, thinking about if I should answer his question. No point in waiting to feed their curiosity.

"Four. Now five including today." I said. I heard a couple of heads turn to look at me.

"In ALL your years here?" I heard Yasuo ask next. I nodded, moving for some of the plain potatoes near the middle.

"Yup and to answer a future question, it was all within the span of a week. The first four that is." I said, anticipated the direction of the questions. That seemed to be right since the rest of the heads of my champions turned to look at me. I had finished building my plate and began to dig in.

"What h-"Diana began to ask but I waved my right hand and fork at her to halt her.

"Happened?" I asked for her. She nodded and I motioned towards the rest of the food. "If you guys can please help me finish this fantastic food, kudos guys, great job prepping this, then after the foods gone, I will answer three questions without hesitation. Then we will move this incident behind us, okay?" I said giving some requirements to the information they sought. At that, they all looked across to each other and began to grab various things. The speed at which they did it was amazing. I could only help myself to laugh at the scene before me.

A couple of them turned to look at me, seeming to be asking why I was laughing. I waved them of and began eating my own food. As I enjoyed my food, I began asking small questions to help pass the time and put them more at ease.

"So, when and how did you guys put together the outfits?" I asked, shoveling another bit of a potato in my mouth.

"Well, we were going to do a simple look but we thought we should be a little flashy since we are going to be showing your progress at the mock battles." Ahri began to explain, but she stopped when she put another piece of the main course meat into her mouth.

"Whoa whoa, slow down there. Enjoy the flavor, don't just eat as fast as you can so you can ask me a couple of questions." I said, holding up my hand with the fork in it, pointing it at her.

She looked at me with a curious gaze, halting her chewing with some of the meat hanging out of her mouth. "I am enjoying the flavor, this is just how I eat." She said. I rose both my eyebrows in shock.

"THAT'S how you eat food?" I asked. Fizz looked at me with wide eyes.

"Right?! I couldn't believe someone of her size and etiquette could just like, devour food like that. You should see her with food with some nipzy on it." He said, putting some of the fried fish into his mouth.

"Really? Nipzy huh? Isn't that like, plant shit?" I asked to help clarify the strange plant that seemed to have a very strong effect on felines of many sorts.

Fizz broke out into a huge laugh, with Yasuo giving a chuckle. Ahri's face went red looking between the two of them. "Shut up! It's got a very earthly smell and natural taste!" She said. Yasuo then broke out into a laugh with Fizz adding to his. Her face got even redder. "Whatever, at least I don't talk to my weapons like they were my lover!" She blurted out.

At that, Yasuo and Fizz's laughter shot down to huffs of embarrassment. I shot my eyes to them as they glared at Ahri.

"Hey! I've had that thing for a VERY long time!" Yasuo said in a stern voice. Fizz gave a just nod, as if saying he agreed.

"Does it make it worse since both of you call your weapons men?" Added in Diana.

"OOOOOH SHIT, no way!" I threw out there, laughter rising in my chest. Fizz and Yasuo looked at Diana with shock.

"What the, we do NOT!" They said almost at the same time.

I couldn't contain the laughter anymore and let it roll out of my mouth like thunder after the crackle of lightning. Ahri seemed to join me along with Diana giving a small chuckle. As the conversations continued on, we all managed to have a pretty decent time. They began telling stories that ended up being jokes for all of us. Before we knew it, the food had been gone for a while, but we continued to talk normally. It felt good not having to worry about anything. I pulled myself from the regular talk and tried to remember the last time I was in such high spirits. It would have to be the time those people took me in and taught me of the league. I smiled at my memories of the place and seemed to have drawn the attention of my champions since I heard my name called out a couple of times before snapping back to the present and seeing Diana calling to me.

I sat up a bit and looked around. They had all turned their attention towards me, grins on their faces, even Aatrox.

"What?" I asked.

"We asked what it was you were thinking of to give you such pleasant memories." She seemed to repeat. I smiled again, rubbing my hands together.

"Well, I'm just thinking back to when I woke up on the mountain before I started my training here. The people that informed me of the league and helped me on my way were so kind and just adventurous. You guys made me think of them." I replied. At that, they gave smiles to me. I separated my hands then, bringing them back together swiftly to make a loud clap. "Excellent first question of your three! What are the next two?" I asked with an evil grin. I saw their smiles drain from them and filled with annoyance.

"You evil little fuck." Fizz said.

I laughed a fake evil laugh, jokingly of course but also real in a way. As they looked from one another, they seemed to be confirming the questions they wanted to ask. I sat and waited for them to think a while longer, but I didn't want them to rush. I felt a little bad sneaking one of their questions in there so I rose from my seat and began to grab plates from the table.

"Take your time thinking of the questions you want to know the answers to. And make sure you word them correctly." I said with a wink. Ahri's tail gave a slight twitch at that, knowing full well that I'm capable of working around things like this. She was sure to be the one to help make sure it didn't have any loop holes. As I continued to clean the table, back to its original beauty from the mess we had created, I heard whispers. Everyone seemed to be adjusting the questions except Aatrox, he just sat there with his arms crossed and listening. He would look at me every now and then but I would only see him glance at me through my peripheral vision. I had gotten all of the dishes off the table and moved to cleaning them by hand so as to give my champions more time.

I was keeping to my own thoughts, humming the song I knew from an unknown origin. As I hummed the tune I began trying to remember where it came from again. Ever since I received the Moon stone from the temple, when those memory flashes came to me, I started trying to figure out where they came from because they didn't involve the League. They must've been from before I woke up on the mountain. That's the only conclusion I can come to. As I ended my tune and moving to start it over from the beginning, I looked at how much work I actually did. I looked down and saw one dish left, the others cleaned and now waiting for the water to evaporate so they could be dry once again and ready to use.

I looked at the table of my champions to see that they had ended their conversations about what to ask and were looking at me.

"We are ready." Diana stated. I gave a nod, rinsing off the final dish and putting it with the others. I wiped my hands off on a towel and made my way back to the table. I pulled out my chair, crossed my right leg over my left and relaxed, waiting for the questions to come.

"Then by all means, ask away."

-Ahri

"Then by all means, ask away." Fox said to us to which we were confident in our questions. I seemed to be the ambassador for the first question since I helped reword it quite a bit because these amateurs kept leaving loop holes I knew Fox would find. I took a deep breath and looked him in the eye. I guess my actions gave away that I was going to ask since he looked back with a very sexy gaze. I don't know if he was doing this to throw me off but it wasn't going to work.

"Yes?" He asked.

"What is your explanation as to how you can train so well and learn fighting styles so easily, so quickly?" I said with confidence in my voice. At this, he gave a slight glare and I could tell because his left eye twitched. It only does that when he's annoyed so we must've done it and made it hard to avoid with a cheeky answer.

"That almost sounded like more than one question just without a period in there. But I'll let it slide." He said. So it wasn't annoyance, just him resisting the urge to dismiss the question as unfair? Damn, I thought I understood his line of thinking better.

"From what I know, I train so well because I think I have a type of photographic memory. But, I think it's a more advanced version of it since I adapt to the fighting styles so fast. As for how I do it quickly, there are only so many hours in the day and everyone needs to sleep. Except, I don't. I don't waste a single second training if I can help it." He said smoothly and easily. He must've been telling the truth and must've been done explaining since he stopped and looked around at us. We waited a little longer to see if he would go any further but he didn't. I heard Yasuo change his breathing pattern a little bit which made me think he was going to ask a question out of natural curiosity so it would be a stupid one. I hit my hand on the table to shock him, which it did, so that he looked to me without asking.

"Don't ask whatever it is you were going to!" I said sternly. He had his eyes widened a little bit from my outburst which had the look of confusion as well. "He's smart and we know this. He answered our question perfectly but added on a little more information than we did ask for, but it wasn't all there. He wants you to wonder why he doesn't waste a single second and to ask why without thinking about it because of your natural curiosity. So don't." I said, turning to look back at Fox. He sat there with a grin on his face, knowing I had stopped Yasuo from wasting our next question.

I looked over at Aatrox since he was to ask our final question, motioning for him to go ahead. He gave a responsive nod and rested his hands onto the table. I sat back down, looking at Fox and seeing him hold his grin to me, then looking at Aatrox.

"Go for it." He said.

"Why is it that you hate Raiden with such passion?" He said. Fox took a moment to probably think how he wanted to answer this and scratched his right cheek. My tails moved from side to side with anticipation. He finally looked around the table at each of us, one by one. Once he got to me, he looked back down at the table, pulling the front of his collar of his shirt away to reveal a very noticeable scar running along his right collarbone. I had wondered what the scar was from and now I knew. My anger began to rise at this summoner whom I only heard stories of but didn't really care for.

"This is why. He gave it to me just a couple of weeks after I started here. As to why, you all will have to wait for when I'm ready to tell you. Just know, he is the reason for my determination, the reason as to why I hate all of the rankers here. It is him and his stupid gold rank duo followers that make me just…angry beyond compare whenever I hear their names." He said, his fists tighten. He released his shirt and it snapped back to its original position. I looked Fox in his eyes and saw true anger in them, anger in which I've never really seen before and this was just him thinking about the bastards that did that to him. I worry for when he has to face them tomorrow in the Mock Battles. "So when tomorrow comes, the day I've been waiting for ever since they attacked me unjustly, be ready to stop me." Fox said. At this, we all looked from one another, seeming to share the worry that was rising just as much as Fox's anger.

"Ready for what?" I asked.

"For when I try to kill them. You will have to stop me, no matter what. If it looks like I'm about to end their lives, then stop me because my rage will have taken me for sure and it will not stop unless someone makes me. So be ready." He said. We all gave our nods of understanding, all be it, they were filled with slight hesitation, but we gave them none the less. Fox then stood up and walked towards his door, stopping in front of it as it opened. We were watching him as he went, waiting for his final words of the night seeing as he was about to give them, and I was not prepared for the hate and certainty that filled the words.

"It will take all of you to hold me back. So make sure you stop me, cause I won't even try to hold back from ending him."

-Fox

That night, as I was in my Mind State, I ran through Raiden's known fighting style and found all the counters that I could. I noted all the ways that I could cut him to make him bleed painfully, but not to the point of death. I calculated how much energy he would be wasting in order to block my strong attacks, the placements of his feet, his strikes, breaths, all of it, and worked around it. It seemed easy in my head because I was working with his move set that I knew about, but not the ones he was surely hiding. The ones that made him feared, his morale's questioned by others and all around trickery he used to mess with his opponents and get them to become sloppy in the slightest ways. I prepared myself all through the night, never taking a second to rest myself for real. I double made sure the Willful Power was ready and made sure to time how long it took to call it forth onto my arm. I double checked how big I could make it, how thick, but not how much it could take. That we were going to figure out on the field and reveal it to everyone.

The swords we clouds in my hands, flowing like a droplet of water in a river, hitting as I demanded. Never before had I been ready for a fight as I was, and never had I been as unsure. But I knew this was the day I finally got him back. The day I finally drove it through his collarbone as he did to mine. If I knew him right from his recent patterns, I'd also gotten ready a sufficient bet that I knew he couldn't resist, the stakes at which he would think about but ultimately, accept once it was said and done.

This was the day. This was it. And I wasn't scared.

My internal clock went off like a church bell on a quiet field. I halted the movements of the shade of Raiden and made him dissipate with the wave of my hand. I collected myself, gathering my thoughts and focusing on the present. I felt the familiar rush of memories then my eyes shot open as I was brought back. I sat up, immediately awake and ready. I pulled out my orb to see the time, observing that I woke up perfectly at 6 A.M. I had 2 hours to get myself ready. I jumped out of bed, feeling my feet touch the warmed floor. Might as well get a small workout in before the day. Not my usual workout but one big enough to get my body in the best condition for the fights ahead of me today. I threw my body to the floor, catching myself with my hands and lowering my chest till it touched the ground. Once it did, I started my 50 push-up count.

They went by as usual, nothing too different except I could hear my champions moving about outside as well, most likely getting their outfits ready, blades sharpened, moves in order, all of it. Once I hit 50 push-ups, I put my right hand behind my back, sliding my left to a more centered position under my body. Once I was comfortable and ready, I let myself down and started my 25 one armed push-up reps. After those were said and done, I rolled over onto my back and started doing my 50 sit-up reps. Once I was done doing those, I deemed that enough and began my stretches. The last thing I wanted today was to miss a step because my muscles couldn't respond in full to the actions I would call, simply because they weren't stretched properly.

I seemed to be so focused on running over attacks in my head again because I was stretching for quite a while. I snapped myself back to when there was a knock on my door. I turned my head to look over my right shoulder at the door.

"Yes?" I asked loudly so whoever was on the other side could hear me clearly.

"We are prepared and waiting on you summoner. The coordinators of the event will teleport us in 30 minutes." I heard from Aatrox. I gave a reaction nod.

"Thank you Aatrox. I'll be out shortly. Have everyone ready to answer the call." I said to him, kinda repeating what he told me, but it was just instinct to give some sort of command to confirm it.

"Understood summoner." He finished. I bent my legs and arms, checking them and knowing from the feeling that they were ready to go. I strode shortly to the mannequin in the corner that held my armor which was now arranged with a combination of what my champions got me and what I received from the Lunar Temple. The unique grey jacket was the main piece, with the metal clothe sash from the Lunar Temple armor I got hanging from my right shoulder to cover my right arm with what looked like a buckle to hold it there, so I could detach it if I saw fit to. It didn't cover it fully, just down to a little past my elbow then the rest went to the back of my arm, covering most of my shoulder. The hood from the temple garb was attached to my regular garb now with excellent stitching it seemed. The rest of the outfit was the same but this look was just…fuckin awesome. I smiled like a little kid getting a toy, this was so fuckin cool!

I rushed to put it on and did so quickly. After double checking it all, making sure my weapon was now in its proper place behind my back resting at my waist, I made sure on everything else as well while walking to leave the room. I pressed the simple button combination to open the door with my right hand and the gears turned their routes, sliding the door open. As I stepped into the living room, I was making sure the buckles that secured my armguards was good. I then let my hands fall to my waist and looked at my champions whom all were in their outfits that they revealed to me yesterday. They turned to look at me and gave their smiles of approval at the outfit.

"Damn. We sure do top ourselves when we get you a new and updated look, don't we?" Asked Ahri, implying the question more to her companions. I gave a very satisfied nod to them all.

"Yeah and I love it every time." I said. Just as I finished, my summoners orb began buzzing in its place in the air around me, so I pulled it forth from its place to see an incoming transmission from an Elder Summoner. I moved to the front of my champions, looking over my shoulders at them and raising my eyebrow to them. "Ready?" I asked with a smile. They returned one and each gave a nod.

"More than you know summoner." Said Fizz. I turned back around, calling out something I hope they would understand but have always wanted to try. "Sins! Correct yourselves!" I said in a stern and serious voice. I heard a set of feet hit the sound I was looking for, clicking of the heels to show that they were standing at attention in a way. I didn't turn around, as I heard other pairs of clicking. Must've been Yasuo since he was the only one trained by a military of some sort. I did the sequence told to me via secret message from the Elder Summoners doing the battles so as to be teleported to the waiting area of all the True Summoners for the fights.

My orb resonated with a melody which was the confirmation code and displayed a holographic picture above it of one of the Elder Summoners seeming to be busy with a tablet of sorts. Honestly, they all looked the same to me. They were the ones walking around the Institute that always have their hoods up and eyes glowing because they have found their true magical energy. This one was no different, same deep purple colored robes with moving runes on the edges of them. His eyes were glowing red which meant he was an attack purpose summoner. Powerful one by the look of the color. The tablet was probably the roster and line up of fights for each summoner. The image was there for a brief moment until the image spoke.

"Ah. Summoner Fox, good morning. How are we?" He asked his voice and attitude seeming naturally calm.

"We are good and ready for whatever you bastards have to throw at me." I said with a grin and a jester sound in my voice. He seemed to pick up on it since he chuckled and that didn't happen often. Well, not while I was around at least.

"Well, hope your appetite is big, cause you've got some big game to hunt today." He said. I gave a huff of amusement of my own when I felt the satisfaction of wording reach Rengar and he purred.

"Nice. We're ready for transport Elder." I said, moving the conversation along. His head moved back and forth, signaling he was too.

"Good. Transmitting the spell now." He said. His fingers seemed to be flying across the tablet as he typed and selected and typed and selected different things on it. There was finally a confirmation sounding button tapped and a ripple in the air came from my orb. It quickly wrapped the air around me and my champions, securing a perimeter. There was then a purple circle on the floor with a complex design that I couldn't fully see as it moved in rapid patterns across my floor. The air that had been rippled began to make an antigravity effect on my clothes. It was fast and hard the spell since I blinked and we were in front of the Elder Summoner that was just a hologram not a second ago. I really need to get my hands on spells like these, they're reeeally nice.

"Nice. No side effects this time. In the record books." He said. I shot my eyebrows up in surprise at his remark.

"What? What side effects?" I said, a little worry in my tone.

"None. I'm fuckin with ya. I'm an Elder Summoner dude, the fuck you think I am? A Gold Rank?" He said with sarcasm here and there. I glared towards him but felt it shrugged off as he looked back to his tablet. "So, big day." He said, tapping away at his device.

"Yup." I responded curtly.

"Got a name for you and your champions? Like, a title that isn't, y'know…stupid?"

"Yeah." I said, a huge grin breaking out on my face. "Keeper of the seven sins."

He stopped tapping at that and looked up. I had crossed my arms and held a face of confidence at this. He didn't seem wavered at my declaration of the title.

"Ooookay. Not bad." He said, before going back to tapping away at the electronic in his hands. "Well Fox, you're actually our opener today for challenges of the regular rankers and traditional summoners. We're hoping you can make a big impression along with scare some of your challengers to surrendering. You've got like…50 to 100 people who want a crack at you. Think you can narrow that down to maybe 5?" He stated quickly, his words flowing fast and without stuttering. He sure seems to have done this a lot.

I moved my grin into a small smirk then a serious line, sliding my hands into the pockets of my jacket. "Yeah, I'll see what I can do."

"Good."

"So, who's first?" I asked, showing my uncaring attitude towards the low ranker that challenged me.

"Some bronze rank 3. Won the raffle to fight you first."

"Name?"

"Do you really care?"

"Nope."

"Didn't think so. Announcer is finishing up rules and such. Entrance is over there, just present the second password with your summoners orb and it'll open. You've got 2 minutes. I'd say good luck but you don't need it." He said as he walked away, focused on his tablet and probably the next match up after me. I turned to my left as he had pointed out the entrance to the arena and started walking. I could slightly hear the crowd of people chanting and cheering, ready for the fighting to get underway.

"So, where are we even at?" Fizz asked for the group. I knew they'd be curious as to where the arena was. I decided to tell them since we were here and it wasn't too big a secret anymore. But even so, I should keep quiet and let them figure it out. The clues were all around them. It was obvious we were underground, people were bustling about, getting arrangements set up, and medics were on standby, some glancing my way and knowing I'd give them some customers. The scent of the air could probably be a big one. But the biggest clue will be when we head out into the actual battlefield.

"You'll see." I said simply. As I approached the hidden door at the wall, a symbol appeared which I took as my signal to show my summoners orb. I pulled it from its hidden dimension, doing the simple unlock pattern and pulled up the code they gave me to unlock the doors to the arena. The symbol dinged with satisfaction as it read the code and shook itself alive, sliding the doors to the side and revealing a hallway to the arena's battlefield. The crowd was really audible now as they were cheering with the announcer. I led us towards the light at the end of the hallway, a much decorated hallway with different banners. The banners were all dedicated to a certain true summoner with their colors and symbols on them. As we walked down the hallway, ever so beastly, I was looking for my flag or flags and to see wat color they gave. Once we were at the middle of the hallway it seemed, there was a ring of flags surrounding a center piece of lighting. It was a simple chandelier and the seven banners were each decorated with a symbol for each of my champions that had a special symbol with me, on it. I smiled and gave a nod at their hanging and as we passed them, focused my attention back to the event. I rolled up my hood to rest on my head and give me the look I was hoping I had. I opened up the mind connection again with the 5 champions I had bonded enough with to have so I could feel their thoughts again.

The strange thing? They were all extremely calm, I could sense no fear. I searched a little more to see if it was actually not their but all I could find was the courage and faith they had in me. That was very reassuring.

'Well, what else did you expect?' Said Fizz in the channel.

'Yes, we do not fear this day, for they are simple sparring matches.' Added in Diana. I cocked an eyebrow at that remark.

'Not just sparring matches but if that helps you, so be it.' I said back to them through my mind.

"Listen up sins." I started as we were within 200 feet of the archway. I could feel their eyes hit the back of my head and the attention straighten. "I want to keep my 'flashy' reputation as true as I can because it helps send a message to people that I mean business. So I need you all to make a 'flashy' appearance, and preferably one that's badass. I know you have something in mind. I could feel it from you five I have a deeper bond with. So get it ready." I said to them.

"Understood Summoner!" I heard them say together. I even heard Sona say it in my head. At that moment, as we were within 50 feet of the opening I heard a gust of wind but nothing else. I turned my head to look over my left shoulder to see my champions gone, still feeling their presence close by but not seeing them. Must be an altercation to ghost, just one that they can use. That's pretty cool. I turned my head back to the opening, seeing the crowd a bit and pulling my hood down just a bit more so as to cover the top half of my face with shadows, giving a stern face to finish it.

"NOW THE OPENING TO THE MOCK BATTLES BEGINS! PLEASE WELCOME THE CHALLENGED, FOX! THE KEEPER OF THE SEVEN SINS!" Shouted the announcer. After that, I broke from the darkened hallway and into the open arena, seeing the boasting crowd around me. I didn't wave or turn my attention to any part of the arena, but kept my eyes in front, to where the judges sat, including the Elder of Water. What a surprise. The crowd seemed to be keeping their excitement up as I made my way towards the center of the dusty field, covered in soft dirt, being the most even fighting ground for every and anyone. The Judges sat in a half rectangle box that had runes tracing it at all times, probably a barrier to deflect any incoming attacks. The judges consisted of six cloaked Elder Summoners with the Elder of Water in the center of them, her chair elevated just a bit above theirs. The guards of the Institute were numerous and attentive, watching the crowd with hard eyes, ready to move on any threat that thought it could make its way to the Elder.

I stopped in the middle of the field and gave a deep bow towards the judges and Elder of Water, showing them my respect as any summoner here should. When I rose up, the Elder of Water started to speak over the crown with a microphone of some sort. They didn't silence completely, just died down.

"Where are you champion's summoner? Did they not wish to show?" She asked. I rose my right hand at this and snapped my fingers, giving them the sign to show themselves. After the signal, one by one they appeared from a hidden fog of black with a tint of the color they deemed as theirs. They appeared in a circle around me, weapons drawn and ready. The crowd seemed to love this show since they started screaming even louder than before when I entered the field. I finally looked around at the vast size of this place and put my guess at probably 300,000 people. So it really was the new battlefield that had been built in Demacia. So glad they could lend it to the league for its use.

"VERY IMPRESSIVE SUMMONER FOX! NOW, LET US MOVE ON TO THE MATCH! THE CHALLENGER IS OLIVER DE MEUX, FROM ZUAN; RANK BRONZE TWO AND HE HAS REQUESTED TO FIGHT YOU HOWEVER YOU SEE FIT! DO YOU ACCEPT?" shouted the announcer. I turned to her up on her pedestal at one end of the field. I gave a nod and she returned one. "THEN START WHEN YOU ARE READY!"

I turned back to Oliver who was at the opposite end of the announcer and gave a quick observation. He had one simple attire, his hood down so I could see his facial features. He had bright orange hair of course, with a lack of freckles on his cheeks. They were present but not as much as you'd think they'd be. His nose was flat and bulbous with green eyes and think lips with thick eye brows to match. He was a bit chunky, probably 200 pounds with the stance of a hand to hand combat specialist. Maybe wrestling to a sense. I gave a smile as I knew my attack method right off the bat. I started walking towards him, waving my right hand at my champions, indicating for them to let me take this alone. They bowed and ran to the sidelines near the judges. Once they were seated, I picked up my walk to a fastened walk. Then after a few strides, rose my speed to a jog. After a few more beats I broke into a full sprint, closing the distance quickly between Oliver and I. He didn't move and his face gave off a worried face as I grew closer. I could already tell his knees were shaking and his fists were wobbling. Too bad for him that just made this fight a lot easier.

Once I was within 20 feet, I used flash to appear next to him, reaching down for his right foot. When I grabbed it, I heard his gasp from shock or fear, I didn't care, and carried it up with me to eye level. He leaned forward to try and keep balance and I just pivoted on my right foot, using my left and kicking into his left knee, forcing him to fall onto it. Once he began to motion of falling, I simply pushed down with his leg I still had in my grasp to tip him off balance completely. At this, I pivoted again on my right to jump a little of the ground, shooting my left hand to the back of his neck, and following through with shoving his face into the ground. I heard a quick crunch sound along with his arms going numb along with the rest of his body. I relieved the pressure from his neck to feel and make sure I didn't break it, but felt a pulse. I must've just knocked him out.

I turned him over with a hefty push to see his nose had be broken in the fall with his eyes closed and dirk all over his face. Blood had been mixed with the dirt and it was coming out at a slow, steady pace. I stood up straight and began walking back towards the middle of the arena, knowing I had one already.

"AND FOX IS THE WINNER BY KNOCKOUT! THAT SETS A RECORD ALREADY WITH A MATCH WIN OF 11 SECONDS! CONGRADULATIONS FOX!" Shouted the announcer. Medics had already jumped onto the field and made their way to Oliver. I reached the middle of the arena and waited there for them to put him on the stretcher and carry him to the resting room. I crossed my arms as I waited.

Maybe I used too much force. I was hoping for a forfeit. Oh well.

It took them a while to get that Oliver kid on the stretcher and haul him away but they managed. After he was pulled through the hallway, the announcer stood up again showing the starting of the next event, thus making the crowd shout with excitement.

"DUE TO THE DISPLAY OF THE FIRST FIGHT, YOUR LIST OF CHALENGERS HAS REDUCED SIGNIFICANTLY DUE TO SURRENDER! BUT, THAT DOESN'T MEAN THEY ALL HAVE GIVEN UP! YOU HAVE ALL OF THREE CHALLENGERS LEFT!" The announcer called out. The crowd didn't die down a bit. Wonder how much money these fights were worth. "ARE YOU READY AND ACCEPTING THE NEXT FIGHT FOX?!" She asked me, to which I gave a nod. I could feel the announcer smile like a clown at the next matchup.

"THEN WITHOUT FURTHUR ADO," she began to say at which I projected my own voice.

"I challenge all three of them to fight me at once!"

That seemed to get the crowd to die down a lot. The ones that were still loud, were the ones in favor of the fight. The announcer was on the side of hesitators, not sure if I was ready for this kind of fight, which I was.

"Are you sure Fox? You don't even know their rank yet." She asked in a more calm voice. I could sense her worry, to which I shrugged off. I only need my champions to worry for me.

"Get them all out here. We need to move this along." I said with confidence. She pressed her right finger to her right ear and seemed to be talking to hidden people. Must be a smaller walkie talkie type device there. A moment went by before she rose back up with a smile on her face.

"THEY HAVE ACCEPTED THE CHALLENGE OF 3V1 COMBAT!" She shouted and the crowd jumped and cheered immensely at the turn of events. I continued waiting at the center of the field for the challengers so I could beat them already and get to the fights that really matter.

"EVERYONE PLEASE WELCOME THE CHALLENGERS! ARES, THE RED; RANK GOLD 3! ARTEMIS, THE LONG; GOLD RANK 2! AND FINALLY HELIOS, THE FLAME; GOLD RANK 1! THESE 3 ARE PART OF A QUICK IN RISING RANKED TEAM AIMING FOR THE CHALLENGERS LEAGUE AND HAVE COME SEEKING VICTORIES OVER TRUE SUMMONERS SO AS TO SHOW THEIR STRENGTH IN BATTLE!" She announced as they walked from a different hidden door opposite to her small stage. My back was facing them so I turned around to see them and place my own judgements on how they presented themselves.

As they walked in, they gave waves to the crowd. Ares was on the far left of the three and his small title fit him. His robes were different shades of red along with his eyes color. His hair was black with streaks of red in it, but they only looked to be maybe 30% of his head. His nose was small and sharp, with his cheek bones not very defined. His skin was tanned but not as much as Helios. I looked over at him and he had a big smile on his face, seeming to love the attention of the crowd. His features were that of every girls dream I'm sure. His hair was a hazel brown with darker strands obvious in the mix. It was long enough to go to the back of his neck, where it was slicked back. He hand strands like mine hanging from his forehead but they didn't seem to naturally fall there. His eyes were a deep blue that seemed to accompany his nose and lips perfectly since they were both even in size and shape. His cheekbones were sharp, which only stood out a little bit. But his tan was almost bronze like but I guess whatever works, works. The final one was Artemis, and she was focused completely on me, as she should be. Her hair was a bright blonde, put into a ponytail. The ponytail still went to the bottom of her shoulders on her back so it must've been very long when it was down. Her eyes were a lighter green than normal but it helped accent her freckles that were in great number on her cheeks and jaw. Her jaw was very finesse and slim, along with her nose and lips, but her lips looked very….kissable. She had a scar next to her right eye that didn't seem too big, but it looked like a good hit whenever she got it when she got it. Her figure was taller than her teammates, but they were short to compare. So she must've been as tall as me, maybe taller. But only by a few centimeters, which I didn't care about. They all fell the same.

"THIS MATCH IS A NO HOLDS BAR, SO FIGHT AT YOUR LEISURE CHALLENGERS!" The announcer told them. At that, the two guys on the ends, seemed to walk off to the sides a bit before stopping along with Artemis. I shot my eyes from each of them, trying to figure out their individual fighting styles. As they moved into their stances, Artemis and Ares had serious faces, while Helios had a grin, so he was going to be the one to try and sneak in a low shot attack. Heh. He'll be in for a shock. Ares whipped out a small staff from behind him that I failed to notice, which he flicked into a staff twice his size. Artemis brought up her fists and one leg which made her into the hand to hand combat expert. I gave a grin and knew she would be fun, so I'll leave her for last to see how good she is. Finally, Helios slid out two short swords from his robe from behind his back. They must've run vertical to him since they were also concealed from my view when they entered the fight. I unlocked my arms and let them fall to my side. Then I rose them up into my first stance of many, the one to help repel attacks and that I could switch into counters easily. So my left hand was touching my mouth slightly and my right hand was at the same level but almost fully extended.

A couple of moments passed as we all stood there, waiting on the first move, before the announcer did it for us.

"BEGIN!" She shouted. At that, all three of them rushed me. Ares was the quickest, shockingly and burst in front of the other two. I looked and I could see his feet barely touching the ground, so he must've been using a ghost spell. When he was within ten feet of me, he jumped and raised his weapon above his head, yelling a battle cry as he did. I kept my eyes on the other two as I pushed off my right foot and stepping back slightly so to dodge the staff. It whisked past me and hit the ground. I put my right foot onto it, knowing he would try to lift it again to throw another attack and I would use this to get an elevated advantage over Helios, since I was targeting those two first. As expected, Ares lifted the staff with me on it, but not as high as I thought. None the less, I was high enough to jump off the staff and towards Helios, his face of shock apparent. I began twisting my body in the air, watching as his swords missed the area I used to be. My hands were in reach of his head and I reached out and grabbed it, pulling it down with me as I fell to the earth again. Once my feet touched the ground, I kicked out at Helios's back left knee to force him to lose balance. He did, but that also exposed me to Ares staff swing. He must've been ready for a move like this so this was a bit shocking. I leaned my head back and felt the air were it used to be shiver from the strike. As it continued without hitting anything, I shoved Helios's head into the ground. I lifted my right hand and threw a punch into his nose, making contact and again, hearing a cracking noise. I rose quickly as Artemis was on me with her first punch from her right hand. A simple right jab but its speed was insane. I barely had enough time to roll my shoulder back but even then she still hit it hard. I threw my left hand to grab her wrist but she already pulled it back out of reach so I grabbed at air. She threw a left jab at my face but this time, I felt it coming, so I whispered a barrier spell to which she hit instead.

Her fist hit my face and I staggered back a few steps from the shock of my spell not working. I shook my head, bringing my right hand up to my face to check for any blood, but there wasn't any. I looked back at the trio to see her in her stance and ready, while Ares helped Helios to his feet. Helios looked at me as he wiped the blood from his sure broken nose with his arm, leaving a nice red streak on his robes. His face no longer had a grin on it, and they all looked at me seriously now. I gave a smile at Artemis, since she must've guessed that I would throw up a barrier spell and gave a counter barrier spell to break through it. Impressive. At this, I rested my right hand onto my blade, and held out my left hand towards them, getting down into a lower stance, ready for the next attack.

It came quick so they didn't disappoint. Artemis was the first to charge me, jumping up to do an overhead jumping thrust punch. As her feet left the ground, I began to counter move. The other two were right behind her, making a quick closing 'V' cross-section on each of my sides, I counted their steps. Once their feet hit the third step, they struck out with their weapons, but Ares was a bit slower since he had more weight to throw with that staff. I drew out my sword from my back and quickly brought it around to make an arcing strike at Helios. He seemed to anticipate it since he rose his second short sword up to block. Once my blade made contact, his other swords projection moved enough to the right with the hit that it would come into contact with Ares staff once I dodged it. I pulled my upper body back just enough to have the tip of Helios's blade hit the staff, making that miss me from behind. As they were temporarily stunned by this, I whispered the spell for flash and disappeared before their eyes. I reappeared behind Artemis while she was still in the air and kicked off her back. I pulled my legs from under me to over me, making a front flip then once I saw the ground right side up again, I landed, spinning around to rush them before they could recoup too much.

As I guessed, Artemis had stumbled to gain her balance and try to fend off what she could. It was too late since I had already kicked her in the ass to push her further to the ground since her two idiot teammates were going to try and strike at her in haste, thinking it was me. As their weapons swung over her body, I rose my sword to block the staff to move over me, jerking my left shoulder back to dodge the first short sword, and ducking afterwards to move into my next attack. I slashed at Helios's left knee since that was closest and made contact. It was confirmed when he yelped out in pain. I threw my hand into another stroke at Ares ankle, making contact and again having it confirmed by hearing a yelp.

I saw Helios about to throw a downward sword slash at me but I was already moving my left hand into his guard to grab his forearm. Once my grip was secure, I brought up my sword to block his desperate strike at me with his open right arm and deflect it before my next move. After his sword bounced off mine and hit the pavement, I spun my around in my hand and into a stabbing position, which I then moved downwards and stabbed him in the foot. He screamed in pain as I left the blade there and moved my right hand to jab him in the stomach. Once I made my hits there, I turned around, catching a swift motion to my right and ducked to avoid it. As the end of the staff whisked the back of my head, I heard it make contact with Helios's face, making a satisfying crunch. Probably broke his cheek bone. I came up with an uppercut, hitting him square in the jaw and jerking his head back. I looked back at Helios and saw him hunched over, caressing his cheek. I turned back to look at Ares and hurried to bury my fist into his face. I jumped off my right foot, using the momentum and my weight to throw a hard right jab and kicked out with my left foot and made contact with both of their heads. Ares fell back onto his back with a loud thud and Helios landing on his side, both out cold. As my feet hit the ground, something that felt like a wall hit my shoulder and sent me sideways of my feet.

Shit, forgot about Artemis. Sloppy work. I landed on my side a few feet away and rolled a couple of times. Once I found my balance, I placed my feet apart and my right hand to the ground to steady myself more. After that, I skidded to a halt and looked over to Artemis. She stood there, still in her finished pose for the strike that hit me, and moved back into standing upright. Not bad, not bad at all.

"I knew those two would hold me back against you." She said in a somewhat deep voice. Almost didn't fit her. Almost.

"Did you now? Then why are you on a team with them?" I asked, standing up myself. I dusted off my side and pants as she responded.

"Because I needed to get ranked somehow and these two were all that were left."

"So let me guess; they do mostly objectives during matches while you do all the fighting? They mostly come into team fights late and steal the kills?"

She gave a nod and held up her fists, ready for the third and final round. Looks like I'll have to meet her in hand to hand. Too bad for her, that's my specialty. I started watching her stance more closely, her breathing patterns, her foot positions, how much she bounced on her toes, all the things necessary to counter her efficiently. I needed more from her movements in order to get that right, so I jumped into a basic fighting position of mine. She saw this as me being ready and charged me. I counted her steps, ending at 12 before she lept on the 13th to get another major jab at me from above. Why did she do that at the beginning of each of her attack patterns? I decided to let it go, but noticed a ghostly movement to my left. So that's it huh? She's using the overhead jump as a starting position and once I moved to block it, she would throw a softened punch at me then ghost to the side in order to land the real hit. I casted a barrier to my left to block and doubled it, since she would most likely predict that I saw this little trick and cast a counter barrier. I lifted my right arm to her initial attack and left my left arm at its place at my side to leave me open. Once her jab was in motion and hit my arm, she disappeared and reappeared to my left as I saw it. She threw a left uppercut and met my barrier. One layer whittled away but the second bounced her attack off. She showed a bit of shock and I took that moment to throw my own left jab at her, to see her reflexes. I made contact with her forearm but didn't feel any resistance, which meant she didn't have any defense after her first attack. At least, not right away. There's the first flaw.

She threw her left arm down to shove my fist away, and threw another jab with her arm I just struck. I pulled my shoulder down to take the brunt of the attack and saw the ghostly outline to my right and left this time. She was going to go either way. She launched her right jab at me and this time I left myself open, letting her hit me and putting my hands to my sides, ready to block the next ghost image. After she hit me on, the force didn't amount to much, but she was shock and followed through with another two jabs at my stomach. She didn't ghost to the side? Interesting. But those two hits must've had the force behind them that were meant for the attack from the side. Shit they hurt.

I was pushed back a couple of steps, to which she followed up with a flurry of attacks. I blocked the ones I knew were coming and observed the ones that I needed to. I counted the breathes between each hit, the steps she took, the placement of the punches. All had openings that she was leaving that I could've thrown back at her, but I didn't for the sake of learning more of her strategies. After a while, they hits started adding up and I was wearing away, but I figured out her attack pattern and thus started showing it. I blocked more and more of her attacks and they started getting weaker and weaker. As she threw her normal left jab at my face, I blocked it by throwing up my right forearm to make it whisk over my head and I jabbed my own left punch at her arm pit. I landed my hit and moved to hit her right bicep with my right jab, landing the hit there. Her arm shot to the side and I followed up with a quick succession of jabs to her stomach then finished it with a major palm hit to her collar. The force knocked her off her feet and she flew ten feet back and landing on her backside. She used the momentum to roll it off back to her feet and held up her hands in a sloppy guard from any attack I may follow up on.

I took this chance to use heal in a quick aura to heal my wounds. With the bound of Sona, my minor bruises and scrapes itching pain left me, and I moved my hands to the same position in which she did for her attack pattern. She looked at me with shock as I showed it.

"How the hell did you…?" She asked open ended. I gave a quick smirk and dashed towards her, ready to show her the true potential of her moves.

She brought up her hands in a more secure blocking position but it didn't matter. I did as she did and jumped off the ground when I was in the appropriate length from her. As I cocked my right fist back, I was going to go for her right ribs, flash behind her to hit her left ribs and hit her knee to force her down. My fist made contact after I gave it extra force. Her guard fell apart after that hit, her arms shooting back towards her face and smacking it. Added bonus. I moved into a crouched position and threw two left jabs at her right ribs. She winced away at the pain, to which I flashed behind her and threw two more jabs at her exposed right ribs. When she tried to pull away from the pain, she did a hastened throwing arc of her left arm to try and catch me off guard. I caught her wrist with my left hand and kicked out her left knee with my right foot. Once she went down, my leg by her side, I secured her wrist even more and thrust out with my right arm at her elbow and reversed it, breaking it smoothly and in one hit. She screamed out in pain, I tossed her arm away, grabbed her hair and pulled it back to expose her chest and once it was, she tried to bring up her right arm to block, so I threw a left jab at it with barrier at the tip ready to explode outwards like a bullet. Once her fist made contact with mine, I heard some crunching in her hand as it shot away from the blast and she bellowed in pain. I then opened my hand to make it flat and thrust it downwards into her collarbone, smashing one of her bones there as well as I forced her to the ground in one hit. Once she was on her back, she laid motionless. I stood over her, holding my breath still to stay as quiet as I could and noticed that the arena of 300,000 people was silent with me as they watched this. I heard a wheezed and shaky breath come from Artemis and I let out the air in my lungs. I'm glad I didn't kill her, kinda worried I took it too far. I reached out to Sona in my mind and the others except for Aatrox and Rengar.

'Sona, I need you to me to help heal Artemis as much as we can before they take her out. The rest of you, get me my sword and those other two and bring them to me. Sona and I need to get them patched up. But before that, wait for them to announce me the winner.' I said quickly.

'Understood summoner.' The five of them responded. I looked to the announcer and rose my fist in triumph. At this, the crowd broke out into a loud roar of cheering and screaming. I could tell not all of it was positive towards me. Guess these three had some fans in the crowd.

"AND THE WINNER IS FOX! CONGRADULATIONS!" The announcer yelled. After she yelled that, my champions rose and rushed towards me. I started stretching and waited for Sona to arrive at me. I reached out to her and pulled forth her words of power as our sync grew in intensity. Her eyes began to glow a bright green and I'm sure mine did too. I turned back to Artemis and saw my work for the first time. Geez, I still did go overboard. Whoops.

'She still breathes then?' Sona asked. I nodded and got on my knees near Artemis's left side. I right her arm and felt for where the bone was broken. I found it near her elbow, being a simple break. I pulled forth the spell for heal but it was a more advance heal than I usually used. I could feel the bones move closer together and the tendons that had ripped with the break start to mesh back into one. I let the spell go and moved to help Sona heal her collar bone that I shattered in 3 different place. She managed to fully heal one of the places and was working on the second.

'How the hell did you fix that?' I asked.

'It was a very small break so I put a lot into it so as to make her more comfortable while these other two major ones heal properly.' She responded. I nodded in satisfaction as I called the spell forth again and started healing the other break. After we had done our work there, we moved down to see how much damage I did to her ribs and saw that I broke one into her lungs. Shit.

'Were gonna have to expend some of the Willful Power to heal that one up properly and quickly.' I said, already letting it forth. It started to move towards my right arm where I usually put it to make the shield and it started to congest there, but I made it keep moving towards my hands. Can't let that be seen yet.

'Ready?' Sona asked as she sensed the Power at my fingertips. I gave a single nod and forced it into her body. I felt the power surge into Artemis's body and find the injury in her chest. It worked quick and pulled the rib out while closing her lung at the same time. Once her lung was patched up, the rib bone was placed back in its place and settled. After that, I pulled the power back to me and sent it back to wait and recharge. Artemis took a big breath of air this time and exhaled it slowly. Guess that's why she seemed dead. Must've hurt a lot.

'Sure looked like it did.' Fizz said. I looked to my left to see my other six champions standing at ready with the other two Gold Rankers at their feet just lying there. Yasuo had my sword and walked towards me, handing it to me gently. I grabbed the hilt and spun it in my palm, making it shorter and then slid it into its home.

'Shall we heal the others?' Sona asked. I shook my head and stepped over them as I made my way to stand in front of the judges. I already saw the announcer speaking with them and they were listening intently.

'Nah. Those assholes only got a few bruises, they'll be fine.' I said.

'You stabbed one in the foot, cut his leg too, and cut the other guys ankle. I think that's more than a few bruises.' Said Ahri.

'Patatoe potato.' I responded with little care in my voice. I stopped a few feet from where the judges sat and the announcer seemed to be finishing up with them.

"So you agree?!" She asked enthusiastically. They all nodded in agreeance with whatever they were talking about, even the Elder of Water, but she didn't seem to care that much, so it must not have been that important. "EXCELLENT!" She said happily. She twisted and face me and I raised an eyebrow in question.

"What?" I asked simply. She clasped her hands together and looked from me to my champions, to me again.

"There was question as to whether or not we should award the true summoners with the rank of those they beat in their matches. Or lose their rank if they lost and it seemed a fair trade since it's a high risk high reward situation. All we needed was the officials to agree and thus making the rewards official! Since you just won against not one, but THREE Gold Ranks, they have agreed to give you the Rank of Gold Rank 3! Isn't that great?!" She asked me. I wasn't here to win ranks, I was here to settle some business. I shrugged and folded my arms together.

"I don't care but I'll take whatever prize you all want to give me." I said. The announcer whipped her microphone out of her sleeve which didn't look like it was up there but again, whatever, and raised it to her lips.

"CONGRADULATIONS ARE AGAIN IN ORDER TO FOX, FOR DEFEATING THREE GOLD RANKERS IN A MATCH!" The crowd cheered again with renewed excitement at her little speech. "BUT THE NEXT GREAT THING, WHICH I HAVE CONFIRMED WITH THE JUDGES, AND ELDER OF WATER, IS THAT BECAUSE OF THIS GREAT FEAT, FOX HAS MOVED UP FROM BRONZE RANK 2 TO GOLD RANK THREE! SO A HUGE ROUND OF APPLAUSE IS ALSO IN ORDER! EXCELLENT WORK FOX!" She added and the crowd got even louder from joy at her announcement. They started cheering my name after a couple of seconds and I just took off my hood and smiled at them. I rose my hand to wave a couple of short waves and let my hands fall into my pockets again.

"NOW GO AND ENJOY SOME WELL EARNED REST! WE SHALL CALL ON YOU AGAIN WHEN THE 'TRUE AND TRUE BATTLES' BEGIN!" She announced as she made her way back to her little announcers box. I turned around and started walking back towards the entrance to where all the fighters were. I'm sure I'd be greeted by some unwelcome faces, but I don't care about them. I just hope Raiden was watching and now knows that I'm ready for him and won't go down as easily as he thinks I will. I passed by Rengar and Aatrox was they were the last in the line of my champions, and they turned to follow. I'm assuming all of my champions were behind me but I didn't turn my head to see. As we passed by Ares, Helios and Artemis, they already had a full 6 man team at them and attending to their wounds. I gave a quick nod and a couple of them returned it. I walked into the hallway and felt my exhaustion hit me hard, making my knees weak and forcing me to show it. I tripped forward a bit, but was caught by Rengar.

"Good catch. I used a lot of spells in that fight. More than I wanted to. Guess those stack up after a while." I said, wrapping my arm around him.

"Will you be well enough to fight your later fights today, summoner?" Rengar asked. Before I could answer, I felt Sona slip herself under my left arm and hold the rest of me up. I didn't complain since I really was tired and appreciated the help they were giving.

"Yeah, I'll be fine. I just need some potions and time to get back up to my peak and will blow the rest of my matches out of the water." I said with a smile. We continued walking down the hall at a slow pace and once we were about halfway down it, I felt some of my energy return to me and stood back up. I let them go and they let me go in return. I straightened out the wrinkles in my clothes and slipped my hands back into my pockets and walked the rest of the way myself. I heard talking in the back of my head but didn't care to listen to what those words were. I was too occupied with what my fight with Raiden was going to be like. I went through his know attack patterns in my head countless times but kept finding myself almost losing to him. In my own head. That was bad. But I shook my head and started looking at his patterns again, looking for weaknesses to exploit.

I was going to find them, and I was going to beat him. Within his last breath. Even if it meant being within the last of my own.
