Chapter 14: Melting the Ice

-Sona

As we left the hall that lead to the main battle grounds, we were back into the area where we first arrived. We all continued to look at Fox and saw that even he didn't know where we were supposed to go now. I know from past experiences that there should be waiting rooms where the summoners could go to rest. I looked around and found the sign that lead to those exact rooms. I approached Fox and touched his right arm gently. He looked over to me slowly, no expression on his face, just the look of wanted rest. I gave a small smile to try and help ease him and pointed towards the entrance to the resting area for summoners.

'In there. There should be a room that's big enough for you and even us. Come summoner.' I said through our link.

He gave a nod then looked back at the rest of his champions. He nudged his head lightly towards the area I had mentioned and began walking that way. I glanced and saw them acknowledge it. We made our way over and I noticed on one of the many TV's that were down here that the next match was about to begin. People were now challenging Rita and seeing if they could best her. It would be short lived dreams and hopes since she could possibly be more forceful than Brad. We headed down the hall and found the biggest room we could. I drew aside the curtain and peeked inside the one that was labeled for a group of five people. The room had a single large bed with a few chairs and a single long table opposite of the bed with plates and cups for ordered food and drink.

This was probably going to be the best we could get so I looked back towards Fox and the others to indicate this room. Fox was rolling his right shoulder while the rest of my fellow champions watched him eagerly. I motioned my hand towards the room and saw that Fox knew what I was getting at. He gave a small smile, walked into the room and gently touched the upper part of my arm with his left hand. I got a little bit of a shiver from the sign of affection. I followed behind him, cutting off Diana and took a more observant look at the room. The bed was large enough for a big person, so when Fox sat on its soft surface, he sank down a bit, took a couple of bounces seeming to test its softness. There weren't any covers for the bed, just a layer of sheets and a few pillows.

"This is actually a comfortable bed." Fox said. I smiled but continued to look around the room to see what else it had in it to keep us company. Near the foot of the bed, there was just enough room to place a chair, then came the table with plates on it. There was a TV above the table, about six and a half feet off the ground. The TV spurred to life which had the match of Rita fighting a poor unknown soul that challenged her. I looked back towards Fox whom had laid himself out fully on the bed, with a remote in his right hand pointed towards the TV.

"And so begins the research on my fellow True Summoners." He said. Diana had already pulled a chair to the side of the bed to seat herself close to him. I gave her an annoyed look but had a very risky move pop into my head. It didn't seem like me, but if I wanted to show Ahri and Diana that I'm willing to prove my dominance and show I'm fighting for his affection as much as them, then I needed to prove it here and now.

As Fizz and Yasuo were stepping into the room, I made my way over to Fox and Diana, crawling onto the bed and over Foxes lap. I looked into his eyes, he looked back and I couldn't feel any lust or love coming from his mind, only patience as he waited for me to move on. I felt a little embarrassed but kept on moving, sliding my left leg onto his lap as I laid on my side next to him and placed my left arm on his chest. He bent his right leg, so as to stand it up and put his focus back onto the TV. I slyly looked towards Diana and Ahri to see how they reacted. I didn't even need to do that, I could just feel their looks towards me. Once I met their gazes, I confirmed the feeling, as Diana was giving me a look of annoyance mixed with jealousy but Ahri looked at me with longing it seemed. I tried to reach out and feel exactly what she was feeling but Fox was completely locked down in his mind so I couldn't even speak to him. He was very focused on watching the fight that was about to start.

I looked over at Yasuo and Fizz to see what they might've been thinking after my move only to be met with nothing. Yasuo was glued to the TV as well as Fizz as he leaned on his staff. Aatrox and Rengar didn't seem to want to come into the room but I could still tell they were close by so they must've been guarding the room or something to that degree.

I glanced at Fox once more to see that he was still completely focused on the TV and watching the match unfold. I was a little disappointed that he didn't respond the way I was hoping he would but I didn't dwell on it. So I turned to the TV and watched the match as well.

Might as well enjoy this while I could, seeing how by the end of the day, Fox and I were probably going to have another chance to be this close.

-Fox

Once the match had been announced and whom Rita was about to face, I knew it was going to end in her favor because the guy facing her was the brother of my first challenger and he was supposedly worse than the kid I beat. Once Rita was called upon by the young announcer, she came walking out of the same hall that I had and into the huge open battlefield with a smile on her face. She was looking around the crowd giving a huge smile. So she was going with the "Peoples Champion" charade huh? Didn't peg her for the type to like attention. Then again, she could've already adapted to the way Ashe is.

Once she got about halfway towards where she was to stand for the fight, an icy cloud began to form at her feet. It started moving upwards, expanding and growing denser. Once it was at her waist, ice crystal started to become clearer and place themselves where her footprint was. The cloud finally engulfed her, being a moving, constant shaping ice which started to glow fiercely. She finally arrived at her spot on the field and the cloud exploded, revealing Ashe next to her, her bow drawn and Rita pointing towards her challenger.

"Fire." Rita said and Ashe let loose the arrow she had nocked. It flew fast and hit the ground with a thud right next to her challenger's foot. I never really paid attention to the face of the kid but now that I looked at him, he looked almost exactly like his brother just a bit thinner and a little leaner. What surprised me was the fact that he didn't flinch an inch, but held his ground with a neutral face of not being impressed or scared. I sat up a little bit, already interested in Rita's first and only challenger apparently. I looked over back to the screen that showed Rita's face and saw that both Rita and Ashe were a little dumbfounded that he didn't react in a little scared fashion. I looked at the remote and looked over all the features I could use and saw the button I was looking for. The 3D observer feature. I pressed it and a couple of panels appeared from the walls on either side of the room. I slid my legs over the side of the bed and stood up as the panels started bringing the match into 3D view using holograms. I walked over to the nearest panel and grabbed the gloves that came with the set to navigate the holograms. I slid them on and used the motion to rewind the holograms to when Ashe shot the arrow.

Damn, guess it's good that I took that class on how to use this new technology. As the gloves adjusted themselves to the sizes of my hands, I flexed them to get a good feel and settle them.

"System, identify yourself." I said aloud. There was a couple of mechanical sounds before a voice spoke.

"Claire, summoner." Spoke the program.

"Okay Claire, show me the trajectory of the arrow that Ashe fired. I want the desired or intended path, mixed with the path the arrow actually took." I said.

"Understood summoner." Spoke the program in a light voice. Reminded me of Sona's voice. I zoomed in on the holograms and saw the red line of the path that Ashe was aiming for. Once it landed on her challenger, the shot should've hit him in the right leg, right above the knee. That would've ended the fight for him right there since that would've crippled him. Then a blue path was projected and mixing with the red line, making them purple up to the point of a couple of feet away from him. Then the blue lines trajectory changed dramatically and curved down to make it land next to his foot. He didn't even speak a spell or move his hands, it just fell.

"I knew it!" I yelled.

"Knew what man?" asked Fizz. I turned around to him and pointed at the hologram.

"I knew something was up as soon as that arrow hit near his foot!"

Fizz gave a very confused look. "What? How? All we saw was that the arrow missed him by an inch. I just assumed that she was trying to scare the guy."

I gave a chuckle and looked back at the hologram. "Ashe and Rita would've went for the quickest advantage! And slow fear isn't as fast as a forfeit. She wanted to cripple him so all she had to do was something like what I did and end it with one hit. But I guess she didn't see him as pulling off something like this level of magic. He changed the path of an arrow moving at blinding speed, all without casting a spell or even moving! Oooooh man, Rita is in for a tough fight. " I said with enthusiasm.

"Wait, how could he change the path of the arrow if he didn't utter a spell? Isn't that how you, ya know, do something like what he did?" Asked Fizz.

I shook my head, remembering all that I can about the lore of the Frejlord. "Not if he's from the same land Ashe is. He must be like her to an extent. Has ice like powers but not enough to be a champion, so he's a summoner instead. This is insane. What a place to show off that kind of power!" I said like a kid in a toy shop. I took off the gloves and put them back from where I took them. "That'll be all Claire, thank you." I said, moving to the edge of the bed and sitting on it, watching the TV eagerly.

The young Announcer moved quickly to hype the crowd up from the shot and try to hide Rita and Ashe's intent. "WHAT A LOVELY DISPLAY OF POWER AND ACCURACY! THE ARROW LANDED JUST INCHES FROM THE CHALLENGER! BUT HE DOESN'T SEEM TO BE FAZED! HOW IS THIS FIGHT GOING TO END?! LET'S FIND OUT! BEGIN!" She yelled out.

In a smooth movement, the boy dashed from his starting spot and rushed towards Rita and Ashe with blinding speed. The arrow that Ashe fired is gone from where it had landed and is now glistening from the left hand of the challenger as he charges the Icy Duo. Rita spins downwards and kneels, making a motion with her arms as if she were holding a bow and about to take a shot, to which Ashe was actually doing. The arrow that was nocked, was glowing at the tip and had a misty effect to it. Rita did a motion of letting the arrow go, and Ashe did the mirror motion and let the arrow fly. As it rushed towards the challenger, he raised his right hand which was engulfed with flames and he shouted out "IGNITE!" which shot the fire from him palm, towards the arrow that approached him in this odd game of 'chicken'.

The flames ate the arrow as if it were a snack, causing the arrow to explode into a mist. Through the mist, the arrow that Ashe used to scare the challenger as thrown at her with what looked like the power from another bow. Ashe didn't seem scared because she moved her head to the side and brought her hand back like she was about to draw another arrow, only to catch the arrow that was thrown! She twirled it in her hand with ease, nocked it and turned directly to her left, drawing the bow to full strength. The camera panned out to see what she was aiming at, and there was a ghostly figure of the boy, about to complete the spell and appear to their side.

Once he was there in full, a hand grabbed his throat and threw him up a little, the hand belonging to Rita who seemed to have read his movements like a book. Before he could react to this hand, ice was forming around his neck and quickly moving to cover any surface of his body that it could. The boy didn't seem to care though because as he flew backwards from the blow, he moved his hands in a way that commanded the ice that was forming, and it obeyed with ease it seemed.

He pulled it around his body, it moving like a snake, and shooting it towards Ashe, giving her too much attention. As the ice shot its way at her, the first look of surprise that came to her pale face since the fight began exposed itself. She crouched and dove to her left, seamlessly taking out another arrow, nocked it and drew the arrow to aim at the boy. He was already on the ground, fending off Rita's attacks as best he could but her specialty was hand to hand, just like me. He did a pretty good job of throwing her punches to the side but her attacks looked to have an icy touch which slowed his movements. She gained the upper hand quickly and finally landed a big hit to his chest, which sent him backwards and landing him on his back.

Once he met the ground, an arrow drilled into his left hand that was exposed. I buried itself into his flesh with ease and began forming ice again. He only winced at the pain, ripping his hand from the ground, reaching with his other hand to tear the arrow from his hand. As he grabbed the arrow from the back of his hand, another arrow easily buried itself into his right bicep, then another ate into his right forearm but had a bit harder time doing so. This time, he yelped in pain but it didn't seem to be over for him yet because Rita was on him. She landed on him with a knee to his chest and her left boot onto his right arm, right on the wound where the arrow was in his bicep. He screamed in pain but quickly silenced himself when Rita's face was inches from his. She seemed to whisper something to him but the camera didn't pick up whatever it was that she said. What she said also got her a face full of spit mixed with blood. She gave a look of disgust and reached her right hand back, encased it with ice, then brought it down to hit him square in the nose. The ice around her fist shattered along with the poor boys nose. His head shot back after the hit and was met with the ground, knocking him out it seemed. Rita stayed on him for a moment, then rose quickly with her fist held high and a smile on her face.

The crowd cheered with her in her victory. They were so loud that we could hear them from my resting room. I heard nothing from my room it seemed, not cheering at least. I flexed my hands, remembering what I had seen in Rita's match. That point where the boy had used ghost to get to the side of Ashe after throwing the arrow back at her, Rita did a move that was new to me. She got underneath him, shifted her center of gravity so quickly from her left foot to her right that she didn't need to use flash in order to get the extra speed of hitting the kid in the neck. She used the momentum from the shift. I stopped the recording there and rewound it to the point where she had started the motion of her attack.

I studied the movement as closely as I could starting off with her hand placement from the start of her position, all the way to her foot placement. I motioned for the clip to continue in slow motion and followed her exact movements for the boy. Once I had the general idea for it at that speed, I envisioned it a few times in my head before I carried it out.

I put my feet into position, placed my hands where they were going to be when the motion began then let them fall to my side. I closed my eyes and saw Rita's figure in front of me, imagining her throwing a right cross at my face. As soon as her body was half way through the simple movement of throwing a punch I tried the move she did, dipping my head to the left and under her arm, swinging to her inside and shifting my weight from my left foot to my right. My hands went to their place and once they were there, I shot off my right foot, ignited my right fist and threw my open palm towards her imaginary neck.

I ended it all with my right arm guarding my face and my left hand open and ready to shoot another spell if I needed to, which I knew I would because if this landed, I needed to keep her surprised and do as much damage as possible. I noted that I needed to get lower in anticipation of an Ashe arrow being shot over towards me. Once I opened my eyes again, the room was still silent but I could feel my champions' eyes on me. I got back into a regular stance, shook my hands off a bit because that move was definitely going to throw her off a bit.

"Did you seriously just learn her attack and replicate it in just a few minutes? Just now? By watching ONE replay?" I heard Fizz ask. I smirked and looked over at him.

"Yeah, I did. Kinda what I do to get the element of surprise over people."

He just kind of shook his head in disbelief at me. "You're a freak man."

I scoffed at that remark. "Coming from a 'fish' with suckers for hair." I replied, getting back into position to improve upon the move.

"Well that was rude…" I barely heard him say under his breath. I went through the motion again but this time I went faster and kept myself low once it was done. That felt so much better!

"Why did you get lower at the end there?" I heard asked from Ahri. I stood back up, shaking my hands again to stop them from numbing up.

"To lower myself from any attack that Ashe will shoot at me." I answered simply.

"Are you going to fight both Rita and Ashe at the same time? Without any of us to help?" I heard her ask back at me. I keep forgetting I can use them. Huh. Didn't really think I would get here someday. I shrugged and shook my head.

"No, now that I remember you guys can fight with me in those fights. Still getting used to having you guys at my side or whatever for fights."

"Even after all the training we did with you?" She asked again. Huh. That's right. Why did I seem to forget that? That usually isn't like me. Oh well.

"I guess? But now that I remember or, to say correctly, now that you've reminded me, I will have one of you guys next to me. But I don't know who out of you five." I let my voice trail off as I began to think about future match ups in the True Summoner fights that were sure to begin soon.

I ran every possible outcome that I could think of before I snapped my fingers and tuned back into reality with an answer, only to see Ahri right next to me, looking at my face, hands behind her back and at attention, waiting for command. I looked at her, then the rest of my champions present in the room. Yasuo and Fizz seemed to be in the same place they were the whole time and not really caring my decision but Diana and Sona both looked a little flustered and avoiding eye contact like children waiting for punishment from a parent. I looked back at Ahri to see that her face hadn't changed since I looked around the room at everyone here.

"Yes?" she said plain and simple. I raised my left eyebrow in a hint of concern.

"Has it already been decided who's going to fight with me against Rita and Ashe?" I asked. Ahri's ears did a cute twitch and she nodded happily.

"It'll be me. I can close distance quickly and keep her occupied while you beat Rita. Best solution here." She responded.

I mulled it over in my head quickly and nodded in agreement. "Yeah, I see what you mean. Ok then. Sync up, I'll show you some of the moves I've thought of that will prolly work against them.

She nodded her head, reached up with her hand and placed it on my chest right in the center. I did the same to her but tilted my head down in the process so she could reach my forehead more easily. She touched hers with mine and a small explosion of power erupted outwards from us into the air. I felt her mind, saw what she saw, heard her thoughts, it was like breathing to me now. I stepped away and took my new starting position for the move I just learned from watching Rita's fight. Ahri stood slightly in front of me but took the same stance. I could see in her thoughts, her running what she just saw me do and finding ways to match the movements and make them stronger with her at my side.

We practiced the moves for the next couple of hours as the rest of the fights went on. Other True summoners put down their challengers and moved on. It wasn't until the True fights began that Ahri and I stopped to rest.

It was another hour of watching hugely one-sided fights go on until it was my turn in the…quarter finals? I was automatically placed in the QUARTER FINALS?! What the fuck?

"Alright so," I heard come from the doorway into my room. I turned to see an all familiar face of the elder summoner that had teleported us here. Aatrox and Rengar had held open the curtain that lead into the room for him and had turned their heads to listen to what he had to say next. "Here's what's gonna happen. You are now going to face Rita and Ashe. You have the favor of choosing if you would like to use more than one champion during the fight, kind of like tag in, tag out rules, or just fighting with one champion the entire fight. Your call man." Then he just stood there, his hand flying across the tablet he held probably making arrangements and talking with multiple people at the same time.

"Wait, why the hell am I in the quarter finals after one fight?" I asked in a serious but joking tone. The summoner looked up from his tablet at me with no emotion in the color of his eyes. It was really creepy.

"Three true summoners surrendered when they saw they were matched with you. Honestly, I find it really disappointing. They could've given a good show. It woulda been quick, but it would've been a good show nonetheless." He responded in a casual way, his hand still flying about the tablet.

I gave a shrug and a nod towards him. "I mean, yeah but whatever. I'll just be using one champion. It'll be a quick fight too." I said in a confident tone. The summoners hand stopped cold as he continued to look at me.

"Oooooooooh, you willing to put money behind those words?" He said. I thought it over quickly then gave a nod again.

"Yeah sure, why not."

"Sweet. Odds are actually slightly against you this fight. They think no matter which champion you pick, you aren't as synced as Ashe and Rita. If you think you can beat her so easily, do it within 15 minutes." He said, his hand slightly twitching as if waiting to hear me take the bet. I smirked and looked at Ahri who had her hands behind her back and looked back at me with confidence as well.

"We can do it in ten." She said. My eyebrows shot up and I looked back at the summoner whose hand was seriously starting to worry me with its jitteriness.

"If you can beat them in ten minutes, I'll personally double whatever you make off the match." I chuckled and nodded my head.

"You got a deal." I said. His hand exploded over the tablet in energy as it flew around and did its work. The summoner started to laugh and began walking out the room.

"Awesome. The fight starts in 5 minutes. You come in second after Rita. Be ready and don't disappoint!" He said. His laughter was still going after he told me that and I could hear it down the hall as he left. I looked back at Ahri with my hands on my hips. She met my gaze and shrugged.

"What?" She asked.

"You best bring you're A game. We have got a show to put on!" I said with a smile on my face. I straightened my jacket and pulled my hood up. I brought my fists together to crack my knuckles. I began to leave the room with Ahri on my heels. "Sins! Let's go." I said in a stern voice leaving the room. Once we made it to the common looking area, there were a lot of injured summoners being hauled to their new resting areas where they would be fixed up. Let's hope I don't end up like this after my fight with Raiden.

I passed all the nurses without looking any of them in the eye, keeping focus on the match that was about to take place. We made it to the wall that would lead to the arena and I pulled out my summoners orb to present it as my pass. The wall showed its hidden runes and began to shake before it finally sank into the ground slowly. After my way was clear, I could see the familiar banners along the long hallway to the open ground. Along with the scene was the sound of the crowd, loud as ever. Hearing the crowd brought a smile to my face.

"Gotta love a good crowd." I mumbled to myself. I started walking down the hallway with my champions close behind. Their footsteps were off, not syncing together but they'll get the hang of that later I'm sure. We were halfway to the stadium before I heard a misting sound. Must be my champions doing their thing, which also brought a smile to my face.

I caved to the urge to peek over my shoulder only to see them gone, to my satisfaction. I looked back towards the exit of the tunnel into the arena. It took me only another minute to reach it, at which point I stopped just before I could be seen. I took a deep breath in and held it. This fight was going to crush the spirit of this girl who's seen herself as the greatest summoner from our class. It was going to show the people just how strong I've become and make me so many enemies and get a huge target put on my back for higher up summoners. I exhaled with a sinister grin on my face.

"Excellent." I said with excitement. And with that, I continued walking forward into the light that the arena gave.

"AND NOW, HE RETURNS! YOU ALL KNOW HIM, YOU WATCHED HIM SET A NEW FIGHT RECORD THAT KICKED OFF THIS YEARS MOCK BATTLES! GET LOUD FOR FOX, KEEPER OF THE SEVEN SINS!" The announcer yelled to the crowd, to which they responded with just as much enthusiasm if not more by doing just what she commanded. They got loud. As I walked into the stadium, my hood covering my eyes and still giving the mysterious aspect I was going for. I didn't wave, didn't raise my fist, and only stared at Rita as she stood on her side of the field. She had on a serious face along with Ashe, who both stared back at me. When I reached the middle of the field, rose my right hand and snapped my fingers.

This time, my champions switched it up and made an extremely more flashy entrance. They all came in with their own effects.

Diana seemed first, because her smoke was silver and it arced from my right side to just in front of me. It exploded and she was there kneeling but quickly rose, twirling what I assumed was her weapon. She finished twirling it and stabbed it into the ground. Next came a white smoke coming from my left and finishing in an explosion to the right of Diana. Yasuo was low to the ground but he wasn't kneeling but also did the slow rise. He drew his weapon quickly, did some slashes in the air and finished with stabbing it into the ground as well. Next came a red mist which started around my feet then moved to the left of Diana. It rose in a column of dense smoke, then exploded outwards, revealing Aatrox who had his weapon already summoned and the point in the ground already with his hands resting on top of the hilt.

I could hear mist coming around me, but to keep up appearances, I didn't turn my head to observe how my other four champions were showing themselves. I listened for it and as soon as the misting sound effects stopped, I guessed they were done with their intros. It was assured to me when the crowd cheered even louder than when I enter the arena.

"WHAT A WONDERFUL AND BADASS WAY TO SHOW OFF CHAMPIONS! WELL DONE!" Shouted the announcer. "NOW PLEASE, GET YOURSELF READY FOX!"

At that, I gave a small nod and motioned for my champions to go to the sidelines again. All but Ahri left. I glanced over towards Rita and Ashe before making my way over to my side of the field. Once I was there and turned around, Ahri was in front of me, looking into my eyes, ready and waiting. I stared back at her and brought my right hand up to her chest, placing it gently. She did the same to me but brought her forehead to mine so that we could make our sync as deep as possible. As soon as she did, our power exploded and the air around us gave our clothes the effect of making us look like we were floating. I felt her words of power come to my voice and demand to be spoken.

"By the bond that is between us, the power that we share, and minds that are one, answer my call. Ahri, the Nine Tailed Fox, bestow upon me the aid of your flames and help me fight this enemy that wishes harm to us. Come forth!"

"I answer your call summoner, shall stand with you until our enemies have been drained of life and you have deemed this fight over." She responded. After she gave her response to the words of power, power exploded from us again.

'Give me three minutes of her attacks to understand her fighting pattern. Once you see the attacks flowing endlessly in our minds, begin to follow them.' I said to her in our minds. She gave a nod and responded.

'Understood summoner.'

At that, I looked up towards Ahri and Rita, to see them also synced and in their combat positions. Ahri turned around and readied herself, letting all nine of her tails move on their own. She slightly crouched, ready to take on any ranged attack that would be thrown at me.

We need to get in close, fast. I saw in Ahri's mind that she was ready to move with me quickly. I altered her plan and gave her new instruction. I felt a tinge of satisfaction and understanding and knew she understood. I took a plain fist fighting stance of my fists raised in front of me with my right in front as well, so as to give off the feeling that they were going to come to me.

This fight was going to be over quick, because from here, I can already see the flaw in her fighting style and it's the fact that she thinks she's more aggressive than I am.

-Ahri

As soon as Fox got into his basic fighting stance, the announcer was next to make a move.

"BEGIN!" She shouted at us. At that, Fox spoke the words for 'Flash' and 'Ghost' and was gone in a second. I was already making my wide arc to their side and picking up my speed by going on all fours which I haven't done for a VERY long time. By the time I was at their left flank, Fox just appeared in front of them, throwing easy to dodge punches but they were quick punches. Their purpose was to keep the two busy while I came in from the side for the surprise. It was working because even Rita and Ashe didn't seem to think that Fox could be so fast. Honestly, neither did I but that was beside the point. I gunned it straight for the three of them, using my Ultimate to cover more distance. Fox was still throwing flashy punches at them which they were dodging with ease but didn't seem to notice me yet.

Just as I was upon them, Ashe jumped to the side, nocking an arrow and aiming it at him. In our minds, he spoke the spell for barrier to block and continued to assault Rita. Ashe must've finally seen me after she fired her arrow at Fox and it deflected off his barrier with ease, hitting the ground and shattering. She nocked her next arrow with speed, aiming it at me but it was too late. I was right next to Rita, ready to strike when she kicked off the ground after dodging another of Foxes wide punches. She was in the air to which I could've easily tackled her to the ground but instead, I went low to the ground changing back to my original target of Ashe. I saw Fox jump over me with ease, even going higher than Rita and igniting his fist. I summoned my orb and threw it at Rita from below, making her choose which attack she would prefer to be hit by. As soon as my orb left my palm, I eyed Ashe and dashed the last few steps to reach her. She shot the arrow at me but I used one of my many tails to swat it to the ground.

She loaded another arrow but by the time she pulled back to fire, I was on her. I rose up fast from the ground, bringing my knee to the left side of her face. Once I connected, I saw that she was about to let the arrow go and I made the quick reaction to try and send the arrow at Rita. Fox read the attack and worked it into his since Rita decided to take my orb as damage. Not smart on her part. Fox and Rita were back on the ground, she was now returning punches with a calm attitude. I use a tail to grab the top of Ashe's bow and yanked it at Fox and Rita. I got behind Ashe to see where the arrow was going and saw it flying right at the back of Fox's head. He took note of it and ducked quickly, getting into a low guard, letting the arrow hit a barrier that Rita seemed to have put up. The arrow looked like it caught her off guard since her barrier was now gone and Fox brought up a strong uppercut to her chin. Her head shot back from the force but she returned it to its place quickly, only slightly staggered from the hit.

I quickly turned to my right and brought my right heel around with the momentum to the side of Ashe's head. The force knocked her to the ground but she rolled with the motion, nocking another arrow while doing so. She aimed it at me which was stupid because I just ducked low to the ground to avoid it once she released it. When I looked back at her, she fazed which was weird, then I felt something hit the back of my head, making me eat the ground. What the hell just happened? I kicked off the ground up into the air to try and surprise this force only to see an arrow zip below me. I just knew that was heading towards Fox so I plucked it from the air with one of my tails. Then I saw something blue rush at my face so I brought my hands up to block it, feeling it slam against them. By this time, I landed on my feet and summoned my fire to me, feeling it seek out the attacker that was right next to me.

I could see through Fox's eyes that he was now taking hits from Rita, noting them and how to now use them against her. I looked to the side quickly to see that my attacker was Ashe. How did she get standing when I had just knocked her to the ground? Didn't matter right now because I used my tails to grab her by the waist and neck. I then pushed what I found to be her bow away which opened her guard immensely and threw my left knee into her right ribs twice before she tried to block. I used my tails to yank back on her neck which made her guard miss where she was trying to protect. I threw another two knee hits into her ribs then kicked at her right knee. I did so with enough force and the right placement that she went down on her knee in pain. I followed through by pulling her to the side with my tails and bringing my knee in again to hit her on the other side of her face. She went down to the ground again but I didn't care because Fox was done analyzing Rita's attack pattern and was now moving with it like water in a river bed.

I turned away from Ashe and ran towards him, ready to assist in fighting Rita. I used my ultimate again to close the gap again seeing my next move through Fox's eyes. He was setting her up to take the fall.

As soon as I was two steps behind him, he began the movements and the combo began. A combo which would soon shake the League, but not as much as the one Fox had in store for Raiden.

-Fox

Once she had finally thrown her final knee to the side of Ashes head, I had found Rita's fighting style pattern. After having her almost break my arm two times, I got the hang of how much power she put into her throws, her breath count, and foot placement, all of it. It's been two minutes and after this combo, if Ashe jumps in before the final strokes, then the fight will be over at six minutes and 23 seconds. Ashe hit the ground hard, seemingly knocked out cold and Ahri was now two steps behind me.

Once Ahri's foot hit the ground to make her two feet away, Rita made her right step to throw a straight jab at my now open right guard. I matched her breath in that moment, lifted my left foot and slammed in on the ground, getting low while dodging her punch. Her fist was above my head now, the perfect height in which I gently placed the back of my right hand on the inside of her forearm. Ahri jumped onto my left knee then pushed off, bringing her left leg in a full swing at the side of Rita's head.

As expected, Rita rose her right arm to block as best as she could but I then swiftly grabbed her wrist and pulled her towards me and towards the ground, pulling her off balance and shocked. Her guard was thrown off then and Ahri's kick hit its mark and followed through. As Rita was force to her left from the impact, I shifted positions of moving into her guard with a simple step and using the move I had made up after watching her fight the boy from the Frejlord, thrust my open palm into her neck quickly and powerfully. I tightened my grip, lifting her off the ground and letting go. Ahri had already landed and was behind Rita but was in the air again, about to drop kick her towards me again.

Ahri kicked out hard, hitting Rita in the upper back so she fell towards the ground top first. I then reached up, grabbed one of her open arms with my right hand and with my left, I gripped her face, using the momentum from Ahri's drop kick and throwing her about 15 feet away. She landed on her back hard but tried to use the momentum from the fall to roll back onto her feet. I drew my blade already and threw it at her.

It tumbled over in the air and before it covered half the distance Ahri zipped past me ready for the next portion of the combo. Once Rita turned back towards me, she had about half a second to respond to which she did, almost dodging the blade but it buried itself into her left shoulder. She yelled in pain, starting to reach for it but Ahri was already on her, lashing out with her tail to grab her by the wrist. I whispered the spell for teleport to my blade and was there instantly. My left hand on the blade, Rita didn't seem so surprised by this and pulled her shoulder back. I pushed with her, making her shoulder go back further than she wanted, then ripped it from her. She yelled in pain again before Ahri kicked in the back of her right knee forcing her to kneel. She used her tail to force her right arm behind her back while I spun the blade around in my hand, moving to stab her in the foot but my blade was shot from my hand. I jerked my head towards where Ashe was, only to see her running at us, about 50 feet away with two more arrows ready to fire.

She let them fly, both of them headed straight for me. Ahri had already began to move Rita towards in front of me, making the first arrow hit Rita in the back right shoulder. I ducked behind her body but I wasn't quick enough, as the other arrow sunk into my left shoulder. I quickly moved to break it off clean then peaked under Rita to see Ashe wasn't on the ground anymore but 10 feet into the air somehow. She began to rain down arrows which was a problem. I stayed behind Rita but she was struggling against Ahri, whom was using her tails to shield herself. I ignited my hands and dove out to the side where my sword lay on the ground. As soon as I saw Ashe, she was still 10 feet into the air, arrow after arrow shooting at Ahri and Rita. I shot two ignite fireballs at her then a third as soon as I reached my sword that was 15 feet away. Ashe shot the fireballs down which is fine, they were distractions anyway, but she had somehow forced Ahri to let Rita go and was pushed away from her. She was now about 5 feet away from Rita in the opposite direction from me but I told her to get ready for my next move.

As I finished the plan in my head, Ashe was back to back with Rita who had her right hand in the air. What the hell?

"Glacier rain!" She shouted, then snapped her fingers. I looked above them to see Ashe's ultimate arrow about 50 feet above them, shatter into pieces. It didn't look bad at all, just a distraction.

'No Summoner! It's a cloud of arrows now!' I heard Ahri say through the sync. I jolted my head back up to see that she was right, it was just a huge cloud of arrows falling towards us now. I looked back at Rita and Ashe because they seemed to be doing a last resort move; they were in its range too. But Rita pointed towards the wall of the arena to which Ashe shot a single arrow. It ate into the wall and Rita must've used a teleport spell because they were there already.

I looked back up at the cloud of arrows and it was too thick to cut through, I didn't have enough mana to burn them all away, we didn't have time to outrun them…but maybe we don't have to run. I looked at my sword then at Ahri, who already picked up on the plan and was running towards me and towards Rita's location at the same time. I burst into a full sprint as well, throwing my sword at the same time. As it flew through the air faster than I could run, I asked Ahri for as much mana as she could give because this was going to cost a lot.

I said the words and flashed next to my sword. I grabbed it and threw it again, this time it should be right in front of Ahri, which it was. I used teleport again and plucked the blade out of the air then reached out to Ahri, grabbing her outreached hand. I felt a surge of mana from her enter me and this time I threw the sword as hard as I could. The arrows had already begun to hit the ground around us but my sword was already in the air, close enough to Ashe and Rita. I used most of the mana Ahri gave me to get ready to flash again but this time, I altered the spell before using it. Once I did, Ahri appeared on the sword alone, grabbing it with one of her tails while I appeared above them, about 20 feet in the air. Ashe had already let an arrow go at Ahri while Rita threw an ignite spell at her as best she could.

Ahri used her ultimate again to dash to the side and continue to run at them, while I pulled the rest of my mana into my now ignited hands. As I charged towards the ground, I pointed my hands towards them and pushed out as many ignite fireballs as I could, which was a lot. As the fireballs took the two by surprise, hitting Ashes bow from her hands and hitting Rita in the head, which gave Ahri the perfect timing to get between them and for me to land between them. Ahri tossed my sword towards Rita which I grabbed out of the air and slashed across her chest. She yelled out in pain and took a couple of steps back but I was upon her, grabbed her right arm, ducked under and behind her, pulling her arm with me and kicking in her knee again. Ahri had kicked Ashe in the side of the head again and fluently moved into a jack-knife kick position.

'Hold it' I said to Ahri and she froze, knowing my next move. I leaned down to Rita's ear so that she could hear me clearly.

"If you give up the match now, you won't have to lose so badly and you can heal more easily. I respect you enough to offer you this and I suggest you take it." I told her calmly, keeping the pressure on her arm. She gave off a chuckle and spat blood on the ground.

"That would make me look weak. You know I can't do that and won't do it. Get it over with Fox." She said. I gave a nod and looked at Ahri who was waiting patiently.

"Thank you for using my name. I always appreciate it." I said before bringing my head back up and Ahri's heel shot down and struck the top of Rita's head hard. It bounced down with a sickening crack but I knew she wasn't dead but she was going to have a bruised neck for a month or so and not because of the kick but because of what I was about to do. I grabbed her hair and pulled it back, showing her face which was in extreme pain. I then brought my fist around and followed through with it smashing it right into her nose. The punch hit her so hard that she slid backwards a good five feet before stopping and not moving.

I rose to stand tall and waited. It was about 30 seconds before the crowd rose to a deafening roar with cheers. At that I rose my right fist into the air as my self-declaration of being the winner.

"AND FOX IS THE WINNER! WHAT AN ABSOLUTELY AMAZING AND BREATH TAKING MATCH! FOX WILL MOVE ON TO THE SEMI FINALS AGAINST THE GOLD TWINS!" Shouted the announcer. I desynced with Ahri and she gave a bow to me which I noted in my head to thank her for later. That was a nice add on to show our bond, very nice.

I then reached out to Sona who connected with me immediately and rose at the side lines. She began to speed walk towards us, already knowing that she was going to help me give a quick healing before the medics reached us.

By the time she reached me, I was already applying a higher level of heal on Rita's skull since she seemed to have a fracture there, possibly some swelling. Sona kneeled down next to Rita and began to work on her shoulder to close up the initial wound. When the bleeding stopped from her head I moved down to her ribs to feel if any of them were broken and nothing seemed to bad, maybe just some bruising but nothing felt broken. I looked to see that Sona had sealed up the wound and the medical crew had just arrived, making motions for us to move aside so they could tend to her and Ashe.

I stood up along with Sona and Ahri and watched as they lifted them onto the stretchy thingy.

'Stretcher, summoner.' Said Sona in my mind. I snapped my fingers and nodded my head.

"Yeah, that's what it's called. Thanks." I said. I waved my hand at my other champions to have them come to me so we could leave and I could rest again before this next big match. They all hustled over to me and stood ready to move.

"ONE MORE TIME, LETS GIVE IT UP FOR THE KEEPER OF THE SEVEN SINS!" Shouted the announcer as the medical team left the arena with Rita and Ashe. The crowd erupted with cheers and applause towards me. I faced towards the judges and the Elder of Water, giving them a bow to show my respects. After they gave me a slight nod back I turned and left the arena, the crowd chanting my name as I left.

When I was in the company of just my champions and me, I felt my legs collapse again from exhaustion. This time Ahri caught me before my knees even touched the ground, her left arm going over my back and her hand grabbing gently while her tails held me around the waist. I started to pant heavily as the spells that I multicast took their toll on my body. I took a minute to try and control my breathing which I managed but I was still weak at the knees. I put a leg underneath myself again to get my bearings ready but my knees seemed to barely be holding on. I felt another arm wrap around my back and hoist my up more easily. I looked over to see Yasuo lending a hand and then motion with his hand to start moving me. Ahri and Yasuo seemed to have a handle on me as they were walking like they were carrying only themselves. Once we reached 3/4ths of the way to the center where everyone rests up for their next match, my knees were feeling better and I slid them under me again. Yasuo and Ahri felt the movement and they lowered me so that my feet touched the ground. Once they did, my knees held and I stood up slowly. I groaned as they did from the pain.

"Gods kill me I'm going to be asleep for a few days after this at the rate these spells are taking my energy. Even with the Mana you gave me Ahri." I complained as I walked the rest of the way into the resting area. Once the wall slid into the ground I was greeted with some more applause as some more experienced summoners greeted me.

"Nice fight out there man." Said a summoner I didn't recognize.

"Yeah, seriously thought she was going to be more of a challenge for you. I'll easily pay my lost bet. That fight was awesome to watch." Said another. They continued to agree as they gave their praise but I didn't care really. I just wanted a bed and some quiet time before my next match.

Ahri, Diana, Fizz and Sona all moved in front of me and began to push some people back gently.

"Yeah yeah, he kicked ass. What else did you expect? Now move outa the way! My summoner needs to rest!" Fizz said loudly as he shooed away a couple of summoners. They all gave smirks and smiles towards my champions and I moved towards the room that held me and my champions while I rested and prepared for my match with Rita. I entered the room and everything was cleaned up with a card on the bed. I moved to pick it up and read it but Rengar rushed past me hold out a paw to me to stop. He gave a sniff to the air for a few seconds before looking back at me satisfied.

"The room is clear summoner and I smell no foul play to the tiny message that is waiting for you." He reported to me like a general. I gave a nod and a smile towards him while I went to look at the card.

"Thanks Rengar. Improvement." I said. He gave a huff of recognition and moved back towards the door where Aatrox was waiting, arms crossed. Rengar gave a growl and my other champions came into the room. I read the card and saw that it was from the elder summoner who seemed to be arranging and managing all the fights.

"What is that, summoner?" Asked Yasuo. I gave a shrug and tossed the card to him.

"It's a letter telling me congratz, blah blah, here's 2 million IP." I said. Sona, Diana, Ahri and Fizz all looked at me like I just exploded.

"TWO MILLION?!" Fizz yelled. I nodded while I laid onto the bed, wincing as my legs finally got to relax on a soft surface. I zoned out of whatever my champions were wondering what they could do with that kind of money but it was all mumbling to me. I just closed my eyes and laid my arm over my head to relax. I wanted no time to waste, so I started running through my mental exercises, focused on my breathing and went through a few basic attack movements. While I was doing this, I felt the pain in my legs begin the ease enormously which to my guess was because of Sona. I didn't bother her and let her do her thing while I kept going through the attacks. A lot of time must've passed since when I opened my eyes, Sona wasn't healing me anymore and instead just lying next to me with her arm and leg over me. Her dress was just showing enough of her thigh that it made me wonder if she was wearing any underwear.

'I am…should I take them off…?' I heard in my mind in a shy way. I felt the blood rush to my face as I keep forgetting that she can hear my thoughts!

'No no, I'm uh…enjoying the view as is.' I responded in a kiddish way. I shot my eyes to look at the rest of the room and lessen the awkwardness of the situation. As I was seeing my champions in what they were doing, Aatrox and Rengar were still guarding the door from the outside while Fizz, Diana, Ahri and Yasuo were glued to the TV. I looked at it to see what was so captivating and saw it was the true summoners for Miss Fortune and Shaco going at it in the arena. They both seemed to be bloodied up a bit from the fight but it didn't even look close to over.

I felt a soft hand pull my face away from the TV to look back at Sona. I couldn't resist her eyes, they just demanded my attention.

'Are you sure you want to do this while they can se-' I was beginning to say in my mind but Sona was already grabbing the cover to the bed which came from I have no fucking clue, and was slowly pulling it over us.

'Is this private enough for you?' She asked, to which I meandered in my head if it was or not. If we were going to do this, then I wanted a bit more privacy. I threw the covers off and sat up.

"Hey, you four," I started. They stopped watching the TV right away and gave me their full attention. "I need you all to leave while Sona and I focus our healing abilities on my legs, lungs and arms. We don't need this extra noise." I said sternly, trying to hide the intention of just wanting to be alone with Sona. I saw Fizz and Yasuo nod in understanding and began to make their way to the door. It was Ahri and Diana that squinted at me, in unison as if they just knew why I wanted them to leave.

"Hmmmm…I don't know. I feel like us being here with the TV off wouldn't be a problem. It hasn't been in the past. Why the demand for sudden silence now?" Asked Ahri, getting defensive and suspicious already. I looked at her with intent and I knew she could feel it.

"It shouldn't matter. I told you to leave and gave you a reason. That should be enough without second questions. Now go away. I need to prepare for my one against two match and decide which of you guys is going to be fighting with me." I responded. Ahri gave a sigh of defeat, her ears lowered and she rose to leave.

"Yes Fox. C'mon Diana. Let's go find something to eat." She said with a sad tone in her voice. Yasuo and Fizz were waiting at the entrance to the room, letting Diana and Ahri leave first before following them. I got out of the bed and went to the door, poking my head out at Aatrox and Rengar.

"Hey, go to the end of the hall and don't let anyone come to the room until I call for you, got it?" I told them. They both nodded earnestly.

"Of course summoner. We won't let you down." Rengar said. At that they walked towards the end of the small hall and resumed standing guard. I turned back to see Sona laying on the bed so sweetly and innocently, it was driving me crazy. I walked back towards her, taking my shirt off in the process and climbed onto the bed. I could feel her heartbeat start to race and blood warm her cheeks. I rested my right hand on her cheek and she kind of melted into it.

Just like that, her face shot towards mine and her lips pressed against mine with serious passion. The molded to mine, soft, plump and warm. Her arms wrapped around my neck so she could pull me closer. My body followed instructions and did just that, pressing itself against her and merging its warmth. Her left leg was hugging the side of me, rubbing its smooth surface over my pants. She pulled away briefly only to press her lips back against mine.

My hand had moved from her cheeks to the back of her neck so I could keep her face close to mine. My other hand started to follow the outside of her breasts down the side and towards her hips. She let one of her hands release itself and shoot to my hand, grabbing it and bringing it back up towards her breast and placing it on top of it. She began to squeeze my hand which in turn squeezed her breast.

'Oh gods I've been wanting to feel that for so long.' She said in my head. I started to massage her breast while I slid my tongue into her mouth. She didn't seem to know what to do with that so she embraced it with her tongue hastily and just kind of smacked them around. I pulled away and smiled.

"You know, it's a lot more enjoyable if you take your time with the tongue." She nodded quickly like I was instructing her and brought her face back up to mine, ready to continue. I accepted gratefully and tried my tongue in her mouth again. She didn't slap it around with her own tongue as much and kind of just slid it around and played with it, so she was improving.

I was still massaging her breast while my tongue explored this new moist cave of a mouth, but I focused more on the area of her nipple, pinching it and feeling it get harder. I heard her moan in our heads and felt my ego start to get bigger. It was such a sexy moan. I pulled away from kissing and she seemed to want to continue but I moved myself to lower her dress that she was wearing to reveal her breasts. They were magnificent as they greeted me and more pale than the rest of her body. Her nipples were a darker pink color and were a little bigger than they should've been for this breast size I'm guessing. I didn't care though because my dick was so hard that it shot those thoughts down so fast and replaced them with dirty thoughts that I was a bit confused.

But I shot my mouth towards them and slowly started licking around them. Sona grabbed the back of my head and squeezed kind of hard, moaning in our minds again at the pleasure that she was getting. I flicked the nipple with the tip of my tongue a few times, each was met with another moan of satisfaction. I was getting ready to move towards the other nipple when I heard footsteps approaching the room. I quickly looked towards the door and grabbed out towards the cover to use it for its purpose and cover something up. The something is Sona's boobs though.

They better have a god's damned good reason for letting someone by. I thought. Once the footsteps reached the room, it was the elder summoner who was managing the fights. His hands were as busy as ever, flying across the tablet without him even having to look at it. His eyes fixed on the scene he walked in on and he tilted his head in what I assumed was a sarcastic manor.

"Dude, really? C'mon now this is a big day. You're supposed to be resting for your next match." He said to me before looking back down at his tablet.

"Well you see I was just," I began to explain but he cut me off.

"Just fuckin with ya man, I really don't care. Your match starts in an hour. Get ready for the call. And just so you know, you win this match, you get another million." I nodded to him, kind of annoyed at his sense of humor but what the hell, I'm pretty sure that's what my humor level is.

"Good. Imma go. But seriously, get ready for the match. You have a show to put on soon." He said as his last words before leaving the room. I listened to his footsteps move away from the room before I stood up out of the bed and let out a huge sigh.

"Sorry Sona. I'm going to have to put a pin in this. I do need to prepare for the fight and decide who I'm going to use next for the fight. I need to beat these guys if I'm going to have my chance at Raiden." I said as I started moving towards the door. Sona seemed to show a tinge of disappointment before fixing her dress and clothing herself back up.

'Of course summoner. I don't mean to be selfish and I'm sorry for taking up your resting time.'

"Oh gods don't think that. You have no clue how badly I'd love to keep going, but I have a goal that I must get to today." Sona smiled wide and I heard a laugh in my head.

'Oh I know exactly how badly you want to keep going.'

I raised an eyebrow. "You do?"

'That's how I've started to feel about you every day.' She said and my heart did a tiny jump at hearing that small confession. I scratched my head and called my other champions back into the room before I used my hour to just fuck the hell out of Sona. Gods.

I paced the room, avoiding looking at Sona while my champions filled the room. It helped not thinking of what I'll do to Sona when were alone again by picking the best counters from my seven that could go against Leona and Lee Sin. I must've been pacing for a while since they were all patiently looking at me with full attention. Then I stopped and remembered seeing the sparring matches between Aatrox, Diana, Leona and Kalista. They had shown a serious level of partnership without me being there. They would be able to fight the two champions easily without my help. They would be perfect. Even though I can't sync with Aatrox yet, it doesn't matter, he's extremely smart and can read attack patterns just as easily as I can. It's awesome.

I turned to my champions with confidence and a smile. They seemed to sit up and stand up a bit more when I did this.

"I've made my choice. Diana and Aatrox, get ready." I said. Diana stood up with pride and Aatrox unlocked his arms.

"We are ready summoner." Aatrox said with ease it seemed. I gave a nod to them both while I brought my hands up to crack my knuckles.

"Good. Because these two are going to be a message to the douche bag they work for." I said.

"And what is that message, exactly?" Asked Diana.

"Be ready to bleed."

-Final Notes

Thank you to all of you that have read the story and have stuck with it patiently as I slowly, SLOWLY, SLOOOOOOOOOWLY update this. I honestly think about this story a lot every week and I think about all the different ways I can take it but I have for sure landed on the way it's going to go. I have purposely cut this chapter short so that I could get an update out to you guys and the fact that I didn't want it to be too long that I just continued to lose motivation to write more into it. But I've got goals again and that's to write at least a thousand words a day and to get the chapter to at least 10,000 words before I release it so my updates can be more frequent.

Now, I would like for someone to volunteer and email me once a day to check up on me and make sure I wrote my thousand words. If someone would like to do that, you would also get to read whatever it is that I wrote so that you could get a peek at where the chapter is going, but that's only if you want to

Honestly, I would love BETA readers to help with grammer and to help make sure that my lore is still close to home. But I will make this story complete one day and it is going to be epic. I truly hope I haven't lost too much faith in my readers because I really, really, REALLY love you guys and your reviews because it does inspire me to keep going. Honestly. I would also love to get back into being addicted to league so if some of you guys want to play with me, let me know so we can kick some ass.

Oh and I'm working on a specific release date for my chapters so you guys have a better knowing of when they will come out. So I will let you know when I decided on a release schedule.

Last thing, I'm working on drawing some original art for a new cover for this fan-fic and it's looking really badass. If any of you want to submit a picture of fan-art for the story to be the cover, shoot me a link to the picture and I will make it so.

Thanks again guys, I'm looking forward to any and every response and will respond to each one individually.

Peace my peeps.
